641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 21, 2022, 12:38:16 PM
Most retired footballers are still in the industry grabbing opportunities that are related to their profession and that I think will benefit the organization as well as the retired players. It's better to grab opportunities that are closer to their passion except for investing because they could still excel in the field despite their age.

Not really sure what on earth are you talking about but I always feel that some retired footballers should not waste time being pundits or experts if they actually did not learn anything much,,, I have respect for all athletes but just because you used to play football does not make you a great manager or commentator Wink

I use jinx protection special card  Cool Cool Still plenty of games to be caught up, but I won't make it easy for you guys.

Sometimes there are some competitions I always wonder if I am the jinx for others,,, like Poker if I did a wrong choice it affects the guy next to me. Thankfully,,, results in pool are all about individual so you can take full responsibility for success and failure.

8-10 rounds left in all seasons, may the best guy win!

Yes exactly. Who wouldn't take the consolation prize for having the closest to 15 correct anyways?
The leaderboard so far is looking like there will be top 5 who are in the running to win.

Remember, this is round 1. So there is likely they will have one more the remaining ladder of matches up until The Last Dance of the tournament.

New round is up now but have to place a bet,,, I thought I have been doing nothing but placing bets every day but I guess as soon as new round comes they want you to bet fresh! So I have to wait for bet to settle before I can see what the selections are but do you know how many teams left are there? Just wondering what strategies to use for Round 2 if there is any Wink

Then we might as well say we would be happier if Bitcoin was at ATH or at $100k then,,, of course everyone is happier if prices increase right? Well maybe except for leverage traders doing nothing but short trades. Which is why all of these levels now will not likely last because of short trading and for sure a lot of limits are also set at $50k BTC or $3k ETH Wink
For me $100k is out of the reach for this year, possible $50k, but I will not be surprised that we won't touch it as well. What I'm saying is that we are in bear market, so prices is very volatile but at the end of the day there is no dramatic rise in price like last year wherein we have a new all time high. So it's better to put on a conservative price. Same for altcoins, if bitcoin doesn't move that much this year, expect that the altcoin market might bleed.

Yes, I know and everyone knows what you said duh Smiley And yes $50k is more possible than $100k but maybe you missed my point, that whenever I see someone say they would be happy for X price and that X is a higher price than current,,, I just roll my eyes and say duh of course. Who is not happy if prices go up unless they are short sellers.

Why is it 'better'  to put on a conservative price? How does that affect the actual price? What exactly do you mean by 'so volatile' and yet 'no dramatic rise'?

Waha @Trofo I do remember,,, and I think the people who had the most fun seeing Arsenal like that of course was Spurs. But then karma bit us back and then just 3 games later they were above us  Cry

Very short round with rather predictable results in the end I would say,,, I just wish some of my "against the flow" bets would turn out.

Well done to swogerino and rdbase for getting the double yellow caps Smiley And why not instead of giving away freebet, put it on 100x bet, if you win, you can send us all mbtcs  Cool

645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎰 Sportsbet.io 🎰 "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: March 21, 2022, 08:07:00 AM
Spurs won but it was a low bust, despite many goals in the game,,, we were a bit low on card count and corners, but I am still happy for the win. Today, we have a new league selection today, I never heard of the teams but it is from Romania, so who knows? Good luck putting something here, maybe we have beginners luck  Cool

646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies? on: March 21, 2022, 06:44:35 AM
Yes, it means I lose because I pay interest, but I did not have to let go of my BTC/NFT. And I still got the car.

I would go with it and find it much better than selling off the btc and buy a car. Yes there is going to be bit lose since we pay interest but much safer with btc. I am not sure if I can share this as it would become a spam. I was discussing with my wife that will buy a car on a loan. She suggested that, we can pledge the gold we have and buy the car. Interest to the gold every month will be smaller than interest upon a car loan. It was really a good idea and we decided to go with it. I could match this situation with your above suggestion.

Like I was saying above,,, most of the people commenting had zero idea of how these lending services work, as referenced by OP. And probably no idea of how collateral worked in these crypto lending platforms.

It is always about calculating risk when it comes to this type of financial situation. I totally agree if presented with 2 things as you were: higher interest rate, for something that loses value immediately, versus lower interest rate, for something that gains value long term. That is like an obvious answer Smiley

Car loans are REALLY expensive if you think about number of years and final price.

Vitesse were doing really good at carrying the game to extra time until Roma scored the equalizer finally. And it must be very devastating for Vitesse after all that effort. Roma continued in the ECL thanks to Tammy Abraham's goal in the stoppage time. But I didn't like their general performance even a bit. This was not like the real Roma. They performed like a much worse team in this game. If Roma want to play big here and win the title, they must improve their performance a lot. They can't make do with this level.
Roma isn't the same as it used to be years ago and Mourinho wasn't able to make it a decent team again, they are better than the other teams of lower leagues, that's why their chances are better here but I won't be surprised if they got kicked at some point.
Now except PSV, all teams which were leading in the first leg passed to the next stage although some of them lost their matches yesterday or got a draw.

The problem is they are not just performing badly in Europe they are also now slipping away in Serie A. Roma and Mourinho just looked so good together at the start of the season and when you saw the young strikeforce in Tammy Abraham also enjoying themselves you could really appreciate it but somehow everything could not keep together.

They should really be one of the favorites here,,, well Spurs should have been but  Lips sealed

I see bookmaker odds for Juventus to win Serie A is 3%. The bad news is they will probably not even get into Champions League if they continue to be as bad as their last performance. The good news is we can always get 2x odds now on them  Grin

Thanks again Trofo for challenges, I think I won a few times but honestly,,, I cannot remember now which promos I win because there are so many. Today I entered 3 already, yours is 4, and I still have 2 more to make!

What an important win for most of the people on Everton match. When i saw that red card i was thinking that Everton cant possible win and that i lost some really important points. But this 1.5 points for me is huge and im so close to top 5. Also this round gaved us so many leaders on first place. It will get even more intresting now.

I had it 0-2 for Newcastle based on the really bad form of Everton recently but yesterday they played well and never gave up until the very end of the game and were then rewarded with that 100 minute goal.Only in Premier League we see this much additional time compared to the other major European leagues and that is also something unique that makes the Premier League stand out from the other major competitions in Europe.

Well done Joca97,lately you have been climbing like no other.

Meanwhile,,, guys like me are doing our best and we just cannot get close to the top. But anyway, well done to everyone up there, the games are getting so tough to predict, well they always are anyway, and it is very good and healthy I think to see this happen. It means we have great experts and it means we have now the identities of all the good gamblers  Grin

One day should make a big service of tips and we all start making money Wink
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt market today on: March 18, 2022, 12:08:30 PM
today the market movement is very good where bitcoin has reached $40k again, ETH has also started to rise to $2.8k and other alternative altcoins such as BNB have also increased which have reached $387 of course this is a very positive move, but it is very difficult to say whether this increase can continue or fall again, because the crypto market is currently experiencing very excessive fluctuations.
I would be happier if Bitcoin could be at $50K again this year, as well as ETH at $3K and BNB at $500.
Because that is a very good price target if it can happen this year on the three coins I mentioned because if Bitcoin has improved its price from now on, then altcoins will have no more difficulty pumping in the market.

I have been part of a multiple project already and I can tell you that it costs nearly nothing to start a proper announcement topic, with a good image as well. If a project fails to do that then it is not a project worth checking out at all. I personally like projects that do bounty as well, but that is just an addition.

It does not cost anything actually to build something if you are truly a believer in your own project. Bitcoin never raised funds to launch,,, and never did an ANN thread with any image. All of that came later from the community itself when the community itself decided they wanted to.

Bounty? I personally think bounties almost are synonymous with scams now.
