661  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading futures by manupulating spot. on: August 19, 2023, 04:33:22 PM
The futures market usually lists established coins that are less likely to be manipulated. And also as said above, the futures chart isn't the one you see on the spot market. They're different chambers and are independent (I'm not talking about manipulation of the charts by insiders, which is probably by tacit agreement with the whales).
662  Economy / Economics / Re: I dont sell my assets i borrow against them on: August 19, 2023, 04:16:20 PM
Only problem is that there is no good lenders
More precisely, there are no stupid lenders if you refer to lenders in this forum. Extreme caution is sometimes considered bad for both parties. After all, this is cryptocurrency, where all the scams you once thought impossible become possible. Cases of defaulted loans by trusted members are nothing new here.
663  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin potentially serve as a safe haven in the upcoming economic crisis on: August 19, 2023, 02:40:30 PM
If I look at history, there is no investment instrument that maintains value at the beginning of the crisis. Bitcoin is also on this list, and there is no guarantee that the recovery history until it gets a new ATH will be repeated.

Ideally, you can think of any safe haven if the crisis has been going on for some time and you've convinced yourself that your survival will be fine for a potential longer crisis.

As a Bitcoin HODLer, what would you advice your fellow HODLers should be holding during times of crisis? Cash/Fiat? That's probably a practical move, but that won't be a "safe haven" in my opinion, that would be a hedge to limit the drawdown from HODLing Bitcoin, the actual safe haven. Because,

I said at the beginning of the crisis, not during the crisis. What I'm really worried about is that people are converting their wealth too soon into bitcoins which they consider "saev heaven", while the crisis is still just hearsay. It was suicide based on the history that I explained earlier.
On the other hand, I'm not saying bitcoin isn't a viable investment during a crisis, precisely it is a good opportunity to double wealth. The question is, could the average person think of increasing wealth under such circumstances?

665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's all about monthly low and monthly high my limit orders btc on: August 18, 2023, 02:00:03 PM
^^^
Interesting to notice, I'm curious what high/low limits numbers would you set considering it's only 3 days at the start of the month.
I hope you have a lot of time to make expected profits and you're really trading.
666  Economy / Economics / Re: Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...? on: August 18, 2023, 12:10:43 PM
The question is, at what point have you started a business?
Believe me, all businesses will be profitable the next day if you start right away.

it is going to be competitive, and easily replacable with a machine too.

....
Do not trade, there is hefty commission to pay when you trade.

....
It is going to be costly, customer reviews doesn't come cheap. Btw I don't think it is going to be profitable in long run when you gotta spend more to gain higher reviews.

....
In facts, tax is a guaranteed profit.

etc...

Here's a good reminder for you:

667  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Ballet wallets on: August 18, 2023, 09:46:49 AM
Has anyone tried the help desk? And is it possible to get through to a live person?
They don't provide a human support representative. They have all the draft answers to potential questions. After all, it's just a paper wallet as usual that can't do anything, which likely won't be a very specific product issue that they haven't thought about beforehand. Even if you file a return, they may also have bot answers.
668  Economy / Speculation / Re: take advantage of opportunities on: August 18, 2023, 05:30:08 AM
Are you also taking advantage of this opportunity, friend?
Nope unfortunately, I don't have any stable coin reserves anymore. It never occurred to me that bitcoin would be 5% off today. This is just a golden opportunity for those who have idled caps.
Just feeling lucky that I managed to sell some mbtc yesterday at $28.6k for urgent needs irl. What a coincidence lol Cool

670  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [BUYING] Buying Old Crypto Wallets with exisitng balance / Transactions on: August 17, 2023, 03:03:37 PM
but the OP daringly takes the plunge to front the payment for users who boast a commendable reputation.

With some reason, the OP could easily say "you're not trusted enough". Those are just complementary words written in this offer thread. From some buyers of old wallets that I found, they don't also want the balance especially if it was a large amount.
Sharing keys is a terrible mistake even with people you trust.
671  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Scammers create Pishing site to claim SEI Airdrop 🚨 on: August 17, 2023, 02:41:02 PM
Account has been suspended, it seems that twitterX support cares a little more about scams now.

The concept that the blue badge can be purchased bothers me alot,
Musk's concept of supporting free speech on his platform turned out to be successful, and the priority was people who subscribed to thee badge.
672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's all about monthly low and monthly high my limit orders btc on: August 17, 2023, 02:31:47 PM
Tell me how the high low limit for this month you got? Did you just tell us that it's a new order you made today?
I think, if you use this kind of simple strategy, it makes more sense if it's for the next month's trading plan. But yeah, it still doesn't predict anything.
673  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [BUYING] Buying Old Crypto Wallets with exisitng balance / Transactions on: August 16, 2023, 03:22:22 PM
I think you should revise what you're offering, wallet software can't own balances and crypto addresses aren't labeled with whatever wallet name their keys were generated from.
Overall, it's a bad deal. Hope there will be stupid people who are willing to share privatekeys that contains a lot of balance in it.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: What if the Satoshi (Sats), became the foundation of our economy? on: August 16, 2023, 03:08:39 PM
- Form of money. There are countries in the world where the local currency main denomination is worth less than a satoshi. Like 1 satoshi = 4.45 IDR (a pint of Beer would probably cost >50,000 IDR);
Yeah, and for 4,5 IDR (1 sat) you'll still get nothing today in Indonesia. As a general practice in minimarts, they mostly replace the 500 IDR cash back with some sweets.
To summarize my previous point, you can't just have 1 to 5 countries of reference to make this transition, especially if you also expect 1 sat to be a fair value. Developed countries where 1k satoshi isn't even worth anything yet. Economic standards are'nt the same for every country, and that needs to be improved, bitcoin can't do anything.
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next Bitcoin Bull Run: Is It Tied to the Next Halving? on: August 16, 2023, 12:26:43 PM
Historically, yes. But this is by no means a conclusion to convince people to invest like crazy. Assuming history will repeat itself isn't an excuse not to spend a few bitcoins today if it's necessary. If you see bitcoin as a benefit over profit, then you won't pay attention to the price to own it.
676  Economy / Economics / Re: What if the Satoshi (Sats), became the foundation of our economy? on: August 16, 2023, 08:31:57 AM
- Form of Money: How might the transition from thinking of Sats merely as a fraction of Bitcoin to accepting it as a distinct form of money change our economic landscape?
- Stability: What would it take for a Sats-driven economy to achieve stability, considering the highly volatile nature of Bitcoin? Could it provide a steadier foundation than existing fiat currencies?
- Fair Value: Could Sats provide an equitable value system that transcends borders and economic disparities, creating a more just financial world?

- Form of Money: Satoshis are too small a fraction for a while to make people think it is "money" without a dispute. Maybe one day if the exchange rate becomes more reasonable, let's say for just 5 sats you can get a pint of beer.

- Stability: You know that with limited supply, it's impossible to convert bitcoins into a stable value. I can't imagine bitcoin even being accepted around the world, maybe by doing so it can just reduce unnecessary small levels of volatility.

- Fair Value: I don't think so, unless you can eradicate economic inequality around the world.
677  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Does it make sense to have mobile wallet + desktop wallet from same brand? on: August 16, 2023, 04:16:46 AM
It's great that you're considering switching to a new wallet that better meets your needs. There are indeed several cryptocurrency wallets available that offer secure synchronization between desktop and mobile apps. These wallets often use a seed phrase (also known as a recovery phrase or mnemonic phrase) to securely generate private keys and addresses across different devices.
It doesn't offer "secure synchronization", if your wallet lets you access the privatekeys, you can actually access your bitcoins in any wallet regardless of the type of device with the default sync process (fetching data from the blockchain). Maybe you're talking about how to securely import the wallet to different devices, which one depends on how you do it.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Unit Logo System on: August 15, 2023, 01:42:16 PM
In general, people only more often use the 2 terms "bitcoin" and "satoshi" and their activities. I don't think having to create symbols at every level of fractional units, it just adds more confusion.
Btw, I like the concept of the satoshi logo, just need to change the letters to something neater.
679  Economy / Economics / Re: How to developed your capital on: August 15, 2023, 01:17:02 PM
Are you limiting the answers to this question to only young people? I don't know if this forum is as young as the prefix of this question. To be sure, the advice that follows will be too mature for you to apply if you're young enough.
As a basis for the answer, the way of thinking of young people is certainly different from that of old people. Hard work is optional for them, otherwise old people will think it is a demand of life. From this point you can gauge how high they want to increase their financial capital.
680  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKpays.com offers Exchange Service for PayPal, Payoneer, Visa/Mastercard, Wise on: August 15, 2023, 12:55:55 PM
Well, in conclusion you leave the handling of verification to a third party which is independent from your company, right?

It can't be refund or process as It's not credited to our account.
I don't really understand the fund that isn't credited to your account, how does that happen? Does the deposit address or account mean that it isn't yours/not controlled by you? Who freezed user funds in this case?
You claim exchange will go automatically.
