661  Other / Meta / Re: [Userscript.org dead -> new version] - BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.90 on: June 26, 2014, 05:02:58 PM
Great thanks
I'll soon force the server signature for everybody so versions before 0.2.89 will partially stop working

Could we add "Like" button like the one in the facebook ?
It just came in mind and I wanted to use it in some threads.
Oh yeah that would be awesome.
With an auto-hide feature when too many dislikes, it could even help for this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=663309.0

662  Other / Meta / Re: [Userscript.org dead -> new version] - BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.90 on: June 25, 2014, 04:19:16 PM
Can anyone with 0.2.89/0.2.90 confirm scores are still working?
663  Other / Off-topic / Re: Photo Upload (What to use???) on: June 25, 2014, 03:54:54 PM
Imgur
Even their API is great
664  Other / Meta / Re: [Userscript.org dead -> new version] - BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.89 on: June 23, 2014, 08:35:32 PM
Let's settle that in PM Smiley
665  Other / Meta / Re: [Userscript.org dead -> new version] - BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.89 on: June 23, 2014, 07:38:48 PM
People with versions 0.2.89 and 0.2.90 can experience problems as I'm testing the server signing feature.
If you do please fill the bug tracker and write it here.

Reminder: if you are using the old (0.2.86, from userscripts.org) version, please update
Over the last month, this is relevant for wachtwoord, monbux, Wed, Light, devthedev, digit, Thyatis, 001sonkit, ercolinux
666  Other / Meta / Re: [Userscript.org dead -> new version] - BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.89 on: June 23, 2014, 04:58:06 PM
I didn't change anything, it's strange
667  Other / Meta / Re: [Userscript.org dead -> new version] - BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.89 on: June 22, 2014, 06:48:50 PM
The thread ignore feature still isn't working ofr me, has this been removed or whats up?
He hasn't worked on it as far as I know.
Indeed

If a bug is not blue ("assigned") in the bug tracker (http://btpp.jampa.eu/bugs/view_all_bug_page.php), then I'm not working on it.
668  Other / Meta / Re: [Userscript.org dead -> new version] - BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.89 on: June 22, 2014, 03:33:50 PM
I downloaded the old versions from userscripts.org
See here: http://btpp.jampa.eu/changelog/

Sorry for the poor layout but at least the data is there
669  Other / Meta / Re: was goat perma-banned? on: June 21, 2014, 05:16:20 PM
Goat was banned!?
Damn, each time I leave for a few months crazy shit happens

Hi everybody
Even though I think most posts are now moot I'll answer them ASAP. It may help other people later.

For people noticing bugs: I still have a new version about to be released (2 weeks? 2 months? I don't know)
Also you'll be able to fill out bug reports soon.
672  Other / Meta / Re: [Userscript.org dead -> new version] - BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.89 on: June 19, 2014, 07:15:49 AM
GreasyFork keeps a changelog and you can checkout previous scripts. Isn't that what you are looking for?
I was looking for the previous versions/changelog so not exactly. I downloaded it yesterday though so it's OK. I will upload it when I have some time.
Now I'm using github so the changelog is there.

If people want it then why not.
Looks like it was not a wanted feature months ago though.

you can still access userscripts via this
http://userscripts.org:8080/
Not until a few days (hours?) ago
It is still up for me.
Yeah it seems up nowadays but it was down back then.
I'll try to download the diffs today.

I've only known about BCT++ script, and always wanted that quick reply thingy.

Thank you for sharing, it will help me for sure.
Tell me if you think of other features you'd like

Just wondering, has this actually been audited before? I'll ask it regardless of the reputation it seems to have on many of the members around here.
Are you talking about the script or the crypto library?
Either way I always tell people to check the code, I hope some of them actually do it.

That's why the userscript.org death is annoying: there used to be a version history/diff. Checking the original version and then every update was more practical.
677  Other / Meta / Re: [Userscript.org dead -> new version] - BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.89 on: June 10, 2014, 11:11:18 PM
It's good to be back too Smiley

Before someone starts freaking out, I'd like to inform people that v0.2.90 includes a script from pastebin.
It's a copy/paste of the JS code of bitaddress.org (you are encouraged to check it if you have any doubt). And as it's on pastebin it will never change (except if pastebin gets hacked).
So nothing to worry about.
Thanks for the information, but what use does it serve to have it there? I am not very good at browsing JS, so I don't know. I imagine it does something with cryptography, but I don't know why this script needs it.
It will be used to verify Bitcoin signatures only. The server will soon sign the data it sends and this library is necessary to verify the sigs.

Just let me know if you need a more powerful server to run more things server side, I can easily upgrade you to something more powerful Smiley
Same here, finding a powerful server would be key.
Thanks, it's really appreciated.

Thanks! :-)
It's still powerful enough for what it does. I'll tell you if it ever changes.

You should update the main post. The old UserScripts links are still there.
Changed, thanks!
680  Other / Meta / Re: [Userscript.org dead -> new version] - BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.89 on: June 09, 2014, 05:00:59 PM
I can host the file (with https) if needed, indefinately, just let me know.
Thanks, but for now I use Github and I think that's convenient enough. That may be useful for a couple of other files though.

Things still aren't working correctly for me. The ignore thread feature is missing from firefox.
Please fill a bug report here: http://btpp.jampa.eu/bugs/bug_report_page.php
It's quick, doesn't require an account and helps me to keep in mind all the pending bugs.

Okay done. Some other people are complainng the same thing, evidently there's lots of people out there using the ignore thread feature Smiley It makes bitcointalk almost slightly browseable (I must have thousands of ignored threads).

Thanks!
Actually I took a look at it and I'll change how the feature works. For now everything is client-side and not efficient at all. I'll keep you updated on the bug tracker.

I'm also implementing the server-side signing, ie even if the server is not HTTPS you can be sure the data you receive are genuine.
