1481  Other / Meta / BitcoinTalk++ flags on: October 28, 2013, 08:52:54 PM
I'd like to use this thread to give flags to people
The flags can be positive or negative and anybody can propose someone to be flagged directly in this thread

Currently, the two people with the most reports (https://jackjack.alwaysdata.net/btpp/scamreports) are candoo and usamakhalid961 so I'd like to start with them
Candoo is accused of scamming attempt and usamakhalid961 of spamming
Please give me your thoughts

Auto-refresh available in every page in 0.2.19

Notes about a user is on my todo list
1483  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.15 on: October 28, 2013, 04:11:53 PM
You must have missed my edit
I can add it soon I guess
1484  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.14 on: October 28, 2013, 02:32:51 PM
2. Show number of reports next to "Report scammer": not yet
3. Auto-update unread replies: not yet
Done in 0.2.15: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=268435

I didn't implement the bitcoininformation's "don't refresh if the mouse recently moved" because I didn't want to steal his code and I don't think it's absolutely necessary
Tell me if you think the contrary
1485  Local / Discussions générales et utilisation du Bitcoin / Re: CatchChallenger on: October 28, 2013, 01:10:11 PM
Ca sent le PokeMMO mais pourquoi pas
J'espère avoir le temps de tester sous peu

1487  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.14 on: October 28, 2013, 09:28:47 AM
I still have access to it so I am saving everything if something bad happens
It seems their HTTP servers are down

I deleted some log files and looks like it's ok now
Their admin panel is kinda slow though so it could crash again later
1488  Local / Échanges / Re: Retrait MT.Gox on: October 26, 2013, 01:51:44 PM
On pourrait même comparer Mt.Gox à BFL.
Mythique

Merci pour ce necrothread très utile
1491  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.14 on: October 26, 2013, 11:16:53 AM
Why is it that all ratings are publicly listed? I don't like the idea that if i negatively rate someone, they can find out about it. Thats just likely to start some bs over nothing. It should be anonymous...?

Does nobody agree?
Did you look at the list?
Good luck finding the people one voted against/for
1492  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.14 on: October 25, 2013, 07:14:25 PM
First of all: if you edit the script yourself you'll likely break the auto-update

1. List of ignored sigs: https://jackjack.alwaysdata.net/btpp/ignoredsigs.php
2. Show number of reports next to "Report scammer": not yet
3. Auto-update unread replies: not yet

(I don't have access to my dev computer, which is needed to update the script)

1494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: paper wallet/private key question on: October 23, 2013, 10:22:38 AM
Base58 is plain text, like 5KYJJkGtB4T5p3xAmyBbbdJGGCgaKi4ZeBEJY31YyXyZQcjTtzv
1495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: compressed/uncompressed public key addresses on: October 23, 2013, 10:21:32 AM
Dump your wallet contents, the public keys are inside it
1496  Local / Discussions générales et utilisation du Bitcoin / Re: wallet papier on: October 23, 2013, 07:19:42 AM
Un fichier truecrypt utilisé seulement avec un live CD est suffisant (si tu as confiance dans le live CD)
1497  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [Choose the new Pywallet name] - Pywallet 2.1.6: manage your wallet on: October 22, 2013, 08:59:22 PM
Quick answers, I'll try to find the time to answer more precisely soon
1) the file you downloaded is not pywallet. Maybe a 404 HTML page. Open it with a text editor to be sure
2) --recov-device is either a drive or a file, depending on what you want or need
1498  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [Choose the new Pywallet name] - Pywallet 2.1.6: manage your wallet on: October 21, 2013, 07:23:07 AM
Ok I see! I think the file is badly corrupted

You should use the recovery: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34028.msg2794856#msg2794856
Code:
python pywallet.py --recover --recov_device c:\path\to\your\wallet.dat --recov_size 30Gio --recov_outputdir c:\recoveredwalelt

The rest should be obvious
Tell me if anything goes bad
If this doesn't recover the keys you wanted then I really think they're gone
1499  Other / Meta / Re: Can admin see what you voted on poll? on: October 20, 2013, 05:15:22 PM
I believe it's an option when the OP creates the poll
1500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I generated an address that already exists on: October 20, 2013, 03:34:08 PM
IT IS POSSIBLE to generate address which is already used when you use weak passphrase to generate private key.
This already happened because the flaw in Android random number genretator.
Another example is brainwallet. Just look at 1JwSSubhmg6iPtRjtyqhUYYH7bZg3Lfy1T, This address is in hundreds wallets belonging to different people.
