Looks like self-signed certificates can't be used... Really smart move browser developpers...
Well, I'll drop ssl for now

Also, you made a new password system? Because my old one wasn't correct anymore. Tongue
I did get it working (nice system by the way).
Yes everything about passwords has been changed
I'm glad it works and is clear enough
1403  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.28 on: November 10, 2013, 12:29:15 PM
Ok I get it, the SSL error makes the script deny the calls to the server
I guess I'm going to create the cert myself

For other people: until I make it, click the link I posted, accept the certificate then it's ok
1404  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.28 on: November 10, 2013, 12:15:42 PM
I don't see any activity from you in the logs (except with the old version a few hours ago)

What do you see here?

Your server's been down for 2 weeks now. Tongue
Yesterday it worked for a few minutes Tongue
Don't you see it working right now? (only for 0.2.30)

Also thought he could channel the power of Jesus through him.
That's what my girlfriend often tells me
1409  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.28 on: November 09, 2013, 10:07:36 PM
Longer than I thought because of bad settings but I'm on it
1410  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust is BAD. Very bad. on: November 09, 2013, 07:40:18 PM
"Well hang on, my trust list says you're untrusted..."

"Hm? Mine says that I have +5 rep points and that you have -1..."

"No, it says -5 for you..."

- Why everyone having a different trust list isn't a perfect system.

I agree that having everyone being able to give rep that means something is bad because...look at my rep page, but having those people be exclusively chosen by ~10 people is worse.
I don't see why everybody should have the same trust about someone...
Why should I trust someone you trust?

You have -1 for me and I have -5 for you? Well I guess we won't trade together. And that's all.

Hmmm, true.

Well the problem remains for newbies who don't know trustable people and/or can be easily tricked

Yes but trusting scammers is not going to help them.

I have some free time today.

I am setting up the new server. It's lent by joesmoe2012, who doesn't have access to the files. I won't put the Chrome updates on his server so that you can be 100% sure the updates are legit.

This might be a strange request, but could you add Bitonic to the ticker list (https://bitonic.nl/json/sell?part=offer&check=btc&btc=1)?
It is a local Dutch service used to sell and buy Bitcoins and that way Dutch people can see how much they can get for 1 Bitcoin right now.
I already hacked it into my own version, but it would be nice if it was in the official release.
Added in the future version

Microguy spamming with his shitty scamcoin goldcoin

Again
1417  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust is BAD. Very bad. on: November 08, 2013, 06:33:03 PM
DefaultTrust would be fine and people wouldn't bitch about it if people weren't added to it just because they're friends of theymos. Fuck, at least have some user input if it's DEFAULT.

I don't even edit my trust list because 90% of the forum will just have DefaultTrust and see my trust as DefaultTrust thinks it should be anyway. No point having 999 people with the same trust list and being the 1 person with a different trust list.
