661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Ethereum Wallets on: April 04, 2020, 09:34:08 AM
Thanks for this, it is very detailed. MyEtherwallet (MEW) is really one of the best wallets so far just that it is online but even at that there have been little to no issues about security breaches and so on, that is to say, hacks only takes place when private keys is exposed. On the other hand, when one opts for easy accessibility and convinence then mobile apps comes to play, yet again you can easily import your MEW wallet address into the desired mobile wallets etc. Lastly from my own experience, the best mobile app is Enjin, have being hearing good things about Trust wallet and am yet to check it out.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received coins or tokens that you forgot that you promoted on: April 02, 2020, 09:52:35 PM
Yes I have, It happens from time to time, some either lock the token or delay the distribution to the extent one will forget about it and I must confess it is not really a nice idea. Imagine receiving when the token is already worthless, only very few projects which delays payment for a long time ended up resulting to something good, the rest are nothing to write home about. The team of most projects are always quick to lock bounty tokens but are not quick to ensure they keep working to improve their platform.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will crypto space look like? on: April 01, 2020, 10:22:59 AM
Although this will look good but it comes with its own issues or limitations; first there will be high volume which is good but it will be less accessible to most people that is to say, only huge investors with deep pockets will participate more thus defeating the idea of crypto space which is to accommodate all and aim for mass adoption. And with this number of coins it won't still mean that there won't be bad projects just that the rate at which they are brought up will be low.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: April 01, 2020, 07:41:31 AM
There are many good coins which have good future as well. As for me the first thing I consider is the idea of the project and most importantly if it is achievable or not, this is what I think defines if a project will have bright future or not. Funny enough, examples of these projects with bright future is mostly major altcoins such as ETH, and so on. Although there are upcoming projects which are good at the moment but they still needs more time and improvements for people to ascertain if they will last long term, have bright future or not.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Virus coin on: April 01, 2020, 07:12:55 AM
I think it is exchanges such as Yobit that gives scammers the impetus to create such scam coins because they knew it will be listed once created. These scammers are just making fun of this virus, stealing from people and an exchange is helping them to fulfill their goals, it is really disappointing. Seriously, I wonder how this coin will bring a solution to this virus issue. Let everyone stay off such scam coins because there is nothing good that will come out of it.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto changes. on: March 31, 2020, 11:15:37 AM
From a different perspective, this virus instilled panic in the market which of course causes huge dump in the market owing to the fact people wish to save fiat for payment of goods and services. Also, even at that, whales can use this opportunity to carryout their acts. But looking at the bright side, even with this dump in the crypto market which is also experienced by other markets, the crypto market seems to stand out as it is showing signs of resistance and recovery therefore proving that people are once more readjusting and coming back gradually. Furthermore, with halving coming soon there is every tendency that more people will come back to so as to be part of the anticipated growth.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: March 31, 2020, 10:54:36 AM
Nowadays, there are thousands of coins & token available in the CoinMarkectCap but 99% of the coins & tokens are worthless, and selecting the potential cryptocurrency project is a bit more difficult due to many scam projects. So, in this article consist of the 20 Best cryptocurrencies to invest in 2020 without any hesitation. Also, you can prove the performance of recent history.

If you are looking to invest in a new cryptocurrency project, check out the https://www.btcbeginners.com/best-cryptocurrency-to-buy

As for me, the best cryptocurrency to buy no matter the time or year are those which have the required features, products and services to remain useful at all times; not those whose usefulness comes with seasons, nevertheless I must commend the list. However, from that list, I didn't see BNB and Bitcoin; as it stands in this crypto world, Bitcoin is always the number 1 to be considered on the other hand, with Binance being the top exchange makes its token a good one as well.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are your safe haven now? on: March 31, 2020, 10:43:05 AM
Hey

So, since the crisis has just begun imo, which coins are you guys holding? who do you trust?

I am a proud holder of NWC, KAVA, and BAT for some time now. Or at least I wish I could say I'm proud for all them haha. Kava and Bat are testing my patience lately, but I ain't sellin'!! Time to buy more..

Whereas these NwC guys came up with a solution on how to keep HODLers in these tough times. Some sort of Holders event, exciting idea for me as a holder type of guy.

But, that's my opinion.

What about you Bitcointalk people?

What's your story?

Which coin is your safe haven?

The crisis caused by that deadly virus is pushing people to their extreme because activities has reduced drastically in different countries which affects businesses etc. In my own case, there are few altcoins am holding for long term which is XLM and ETH but however my safe haven is USDT and Bitcoin because I know Bitcoin will recover faster than any other while USDT is for buying more coins at the right time or converting to fiat if in dare needs..
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending crypto to a non-crypto person through Facebook? on: March 31, 2020, 10:36:08 AM
I have a few friends on Facebook which have never heard about crypto or even used it in their lives. I'd like to contribute towards the adoption of crypto by sending them small fractions of Bitcoin and Ethereum through Facebook. But I'd need to be very careful in order to prevent disclosure of private keys from prying eyes.

I'm wondering how will I be able to achieve this in the safest and secure way possible? This will be done through instant messaging of course (Facebook Messenger) with the intention of sending crypto in the most private way possible. My friends are not tech-savvy like me, so I'd need to figure out a method that's easy enough for them to get access to their crypto.

Which is why, I'm very intrigued to know how to send crypto to a non-crypto person through Facebook? Any help, suggestions, or recommendations will be highly appreciated. Thanks Smiley

Years ago I think there was a project which tried to carryout such, I think Social wallet or Wire project but I do not know about it now. Their aim is similar to yours and that is sending crypto to a friend via social media. The idea is good and if successfully carried out will bring more users to this space since crypto will be easily accessible and acquired. Nevertheless, I think it is very important you teach them what they need to know about crypto so that they can be free from scammers.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: March 29, 2020, 11:16:50 PM
This really looks good but if it comes down to me choosing, I would go for a few in that list starting with Eth and Binance coin for now because of the nature of the market as well as the world. Also, you really made a good choice going for more or giving more allocation to BTC as I would have done the same; now is really the time to hold more of BTC as it offers higher chances of growth and gain than any other.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: March 29, 2020, 06:29:09 PM
Am holding just one (1) altcoin and that is, ETH, although I missed to sell at a good price but am not alarmed because it is a good or rather the best altcoin so far.  Also, depending on the type of altcoin you are holding currently, if you believe in it and think it will recover when all calms down then you can hold if not, sell off and move on. And if you want to buy, it would be better to wait a bit more because of this pandemic. Lastly, about what I will do; am waiting for a good time to buy and hold more of ETH, BNB and Stellar.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is altcoin season??? on: March 29, 2020, 06:15:49 PM
Yes the price or fate of altcoins depends on that of BTC and that is the way it has been for a while now or rather since inception. When people aren't going for BTC they are going for altcoins hence altcoins surge in price and vice versa. But nowadays, there seems to be a change in events as most times both BTC and good altcoins surge in price together; these good altcoins are mostly major altcoins and a few others which have what it takes. Nevertheless, no one can categorically say when there will be altcoin season as this space can't really be predicted.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of a project is not the responsibility of bounty hunters alone on: March 29, 2020, 06:08:13 PM
Although bounty hunters don't invest with money but they do with their time. Any team saying bounty doesn't contribute is just trying to cover up their lapses which comes in form of their bad ideas etc. A good project have what it takes to be invested in and just with bounty campaigns it will achieve the desired results and also won't have issues paying their hunters, on the other hand, a bad one tries to find excuses as why they won't pay or reduce the allocation which most of the time is bounty hunters dumping the price, or not getting the desired results, which also is not true.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2020 be exactly what we hoped for anymore on: March 29, 2020, 05:57:44 PM
Good day friends and family on here, here are few questions disturbing my little mind since I wasn't expecting this virus this year, I thought this year will actually be the best since years ago, but it seems I'm wrong

1. Will Bitcoin halving have impact on crypto market this year with the virus outbreak?
2. Is Coronavirus benefiting crypto at all?
3. Will New projects be able to proceed with launching and development in this outbreak?
4. What do you think will happen to bounties this year ?

To be frank and honest, no one really expected this virus at all or even having the power to shut down many world economies. In my own opinion, Bitcoin halving will have its impact on the crypto market, it might not be huge or what we are expecting but something will be felt. Corona virus isn't benefiting crypto at all neither is it benefiting any market Instead it is leaving a negative effect everywhere. About new projects, this will totally depend on the team and what they are able to pull off, that is, if the project is really worth it investors might try to get involved. Lastly, since there are new projects that means there will be bounties as well.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: March 29, 2020, 05:51:10 PM
Coronavirus is the reason why market is in very bad shape, it will be very stupid to exit because of this while others are making good choice presently, many are already saying it's the end for crypto but the fact is Bitcoin died several times in the past and it's still alive today, do not be fooled by those who don't understand the technology

Even without being told, one is meant to know as the signs is everywhere. This deadly virus has brought the world to its feet and thus the crypto space isn't left out. Also, it will be unwise to exit because of this situation on ground as it is not even better anywhere. So I think it would be wise to stick around, hold your trusted coins and also hold fiat as well since there is no mass adoption yet.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: March 28, 2020, 07:22:16 PM
Tether is safe at least to the best of my knowledge because ever since I have been using it there have been no issue. I trade with it, I store it etc and no problems till today. Also, USDT is a good stablecoin from a good exchange which is also used in other cryptocurrency exchanges, so from my own understanding, I see no issue about it or why its genuineness should be questioned.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers always make use of advantages on: March 28, 2020, 07:11:01 PM
Last week the United kingdom's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued a warning that the coronavirus out real might be providing criminals with the opportunity to swindle investors out of their crypto assets, you've been warned

Scammers are sophisticated, opportunistic and will surely try many things.

Do not trust any one or organization asking for donations to combat the outbreak, it's not real

Scammers will never rest, they keeping thinking of how to defraud people while making the best of every opportunity they can lay their hands on. Just imagine when the whole world is in turmoil, another group of fraudsters are busy thinking of who to steal from. Let every one be careful of where they donate to, if possible get the details of all approved organizations so as to do it the right way; let's not feed scammers during this critical time in the world as every penny donated towards this situation is very important.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Virus has killed all cryptocurrency spaces! on: March 28, 2020, 06:58:28 PM
Btw If COVID-19 cannot be completely resolved, especially in every country affected by the corona virus outbreak?

what about the fate of the next cryptoqurrency industry?
I think, this virus not only inhibits activities throughout the world and can even be said to have killed the entire cryptoqurrency space!

With the measures being taken against this virus it is only but a matter of time and it will be contained while the world waits for a possible cure. Also, you should know that countries are taking alternative steps such as working from home to ensure activities keeps going on although it's on a slow pace. Therefore the crypto space isn't what can be killed although activities will reduce but it will still keep going on while waiting for a cure which will lead to the return of normal activities.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance charity launches with $1million donation. on: March 28, 2020, 06:47:32 PM

I remember the CEO also donated during the wildfire that happened months ago and now he is doing it again which shows that saving humanity is very important to him. Through this way, Binance exchange will continue getting new users while showiing to the world that cryptocurrency exchanges can really contribute to the good of all humanity. It is really good to know that Binance exchange is doing such thus still proving to be the best exchange.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be taking 1st place in 2020? on: March 06, 2020, 10:21:47 AM
Ethereum has been steadily on the rise for a good while now, and this first half of Q1 2020 has proven that they have brought that same energy into the new decade. They have started 2020 with a bang, more than doubling in value in just 2 months.

There are quite a few factors that have come into play to make this a winning year for Ethereum and here are just a few: https://thecoinshark.net/en/5-reasons-why-ethereum-is-winning-in-2020/amp/

What do you think we can expect to see for the rest of the year?

It goes like this, Ethereum is a good platform but to replace Bitcoin as number 1 can never happen. Ethereum needs more development, it needs to constantly make people attractive to it as it is not the only altcoin out there and this can only be done if there is efficiency. Ethereum needs to be more scalable so as to continually maintain its competitive advantage as the market is getting highly competitive. Bitcoin on the other hand gave the crypto space a lot of exposure which makes almost all users to hold it thus being a very valuable coin which can't be replaced from its position. Nevertheless, Ethereum started on a good note this year and with the right touch will continue in like manner.
