So close. We found a namecoin block in the last couple of hours but just short of a bitcoin block:

Code:
00000000000000009D8C00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 <-- bitcoin target
00000000000000010ab100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 <-- namecoin target
0000000000000000fb3d8a066e93d660f89196ad83981c323d885f13defac920 <-- hash found

This is starting to become brutal. We need a way to get more miners. A neat idea might be taking and money from fee's and using it to buy/rent miners to mine at the site. This will increase our hashrate and then more users will want to come and then over time it will make you more money. Basically like a long term investment in the site.

To confirm the avalon unit has a powersupply or its built in?
663  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] HashFast Sierra 1.3THs, In-hand in Australia on: April 20, 2014, 12:30:31 PM
I'd be interested if the price enabled profit, but 8btc is too much, thb this ad is really better suited for someone trying to get into mining and keen to learn the hard way.

If you have free electricity and calculate 15% difficulty increases, BTC 8 is about what this unit will generate in 365 days, so it's not such a dishonest pricing. The main selling point is that the unit is tested, working and available for shipping right now, it's not a pre-order of some vapourware. Not a bad deal.

I paid BTC 115 for the same unit, last September. I wish I would have bought it for BTC 8 ;-)

Screw you Hashfast, for scamming your customers by shipping out this equipment with 5 (five!) months delay and not honouring refunds

Well I wouldnt say its not vapourware but okay.

Relating to Overclocking, I think the unit is overclocked but I could be wrong.

In anycase I'll start with a low ball offer of 4 BTC
664  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ♦♦♦ GIGAMiner.net - BTC mining contracts from 5$ per GH/s ! ♦♦♦ on: April 20, 2014, 12:27:17 PM
Thank you for the information

We are a small team of 3 people , all Persians , running an Internet company the GIGAMiner , all we did was buying some Hashers from third parties and started hashing for ourselves for few months , then we agreed to make a business out it
Unfortunately because of bad reputation of our government actions our people having hard time gaining customers trust and that is a very sad thing for us and also a devastating thing for a small business like us .

Also we are in the business of Security Camera's and home and office security equipment , located at www.cctvsystem.ir
We have an small office based in our home country ( Tehran  )

The address : Tehran , Azadi Street , near Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs , number 355 third floor unit 5
phone number : :  0098-9128401480 Mr Sh.Moradi
website : www.cctvsystem.ir

I am the head programmer and a support member of the team my name is Behrooz Moradi
Phone number : 0098-9354750353

Another friend of ours also working as support staff Mr Mehdi Kheradmand
Phone number : 0098-9356818853

We'll be honored and we are willing to give away some limited contracts only for testing, measuring rates and support of our team

Please do not let actions of the governments hurt your trust of the real people of that country
an example was bitcoinfrenzy.com based in India , but many people still got many contracts from them and they proved a legit and solid service (looks like they don't offer contracts at the time )

We're planning to gain trust and stay in the business as long as possible .

the giveaway 2GH/s accounts for a limited period , are by request . so if you're willing to test our service please feel free to request here

If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us : info[at]gigaminer.net

Glad to hear you took my advice. I will ofcourse offer  to test your service and I would recommend you PM a few of the moderators here on the forum in order for them to try your services as well.
665  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] HashFast Sierra 1.3THs, In-hand in Australia on: April 19, 2014, 10:35:05 PM
2. Does this unit get MPP? If so are we(the buyers) entitled to it?

Does it matter? By the time HashFast ships their MPP you'll be able to buy a 2TB USB miner for $5.

Lol, well if there are 2Terehash miners by that time and for that price ill personally buy you one.
666  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ♦♦♦ GIGAMiner.net - BTC mining contracts from 5$ per GH/s ! ♦♦♦ on: April 19, 2014, 10:34:26 PM
Well I understand the lack of trust but there is some starting point for every small company . gaining trust needs time and we cannot gain yours over night

but the easy and most risk free thing to do is buy the cheapest contract and try it ! its only 19$ with 25% discount it will be 14.25$ . I don't see a big risk here
then you can post your experience right here at this page for other users

We are not here to rob anyone because building trust over time gives us more money than robbing  few people don't you agree ?

if you have any suggestions on how we can gain your trust please feel free to tell me

Regards

Okay, well id recommend you read this thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=124441.0

Also id recommend you not keep your anonymity and post about who you are, where your offices are so that people can come and see you and see your legit.

Lastly Id recommend running a giveaway or giving out free passes to a limited number of Hero members or Moderators on the forum so that they can talk about your service and rates.
667  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] HashFast Sierra 1.3THs, In-hand in Australia on: April 19, 2014, 04:38:08 PM
Well If you dont mind me asking a few questions before i place an offer,

1. Is the unit overclocked? It seems it is atleast my original baby jet came blocked at 550.

2. Does this unit get MPP? If so are we(the buyers) entitled to it?

3.If you have flashed/update the firmware if any to update.I know the babyjet has a update but I am not sure if the sierra does.
668  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] HashFast Sierra 1.3THs, In-hand in Australia on: April 19, 2014, 01:19:01 PM
Well I already have a babyjet unit, so id would be interested in yours.

669  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ♦♦♦ GIGAMiner.net - BTC mining contracts from 5$ per GH/s ! ♦♦♦ on: April 19, 2014, 01:08:47 PM
How do we know you are legitimate?

You post with a brand new account and we should blindly give you money?
670  Economy / Auctions / Re: 4 Terraminer IV For Auction 1.6 GH/s, 3 BTC Starting Bid on: April 18, 2014, 06:56:46 PM
As per the original thread, none of the miners seem to be mining. Could you please tell us what there old hashrates were?

672  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 BFL 60ghash Units on: April 13, 2014, 07:57:59 PM
Thats overpriced. You mind as well buy a antminer that does way more.

This isnt really an auction and should be closed. If this was an auction you would put a close date and/or a time limit and minium bid increments.

What about something based on on the longer your mining at the pool the higher the PPS rate is. so if you just start its 5% of the normal pps rate. Then after 3 days its 100% or something.

mmpool, you could implement a referall system. So if you refer someone you get 5% of their earnings or 1 of every 1000 shares or something
678  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [47 TH] mmpool.org - 1.5% fee split DGM/PPS - tx fees/vardiff/merge mining on: April 06, 2014, 11:45:48 AM

679  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BTC]PolishPool 25% Bonus for first payment! [0% FEE] [PPS 0% FEE] PPLNS 0% FEE] on: April 06, 2014, 11:44:23 AM
I recommend people do not mine here. I mined here for a few hours assuming the pool was PPS like it said and was told I wont get any payout because they havent got a block yet. PPS means I make no matter what.

I had the same experience as you, and don't recommend mining here either.
Hi
we are accountable to the block with the miners when the block is not there, we do not pay 25 BTC to all miners

Regards

Okay, so you clearly do not offer PPS then
