661  Economy / Economics / Re: Bruce Schneier criticizes blockchain technology on: February 13, 2019, 02:36:46 PM
This guy is clueless, no one can just freeze your crypto like they can with a traditional bank account or stock market account.  You are in complete control of funds and act as your own bank.
662  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction about BTC price!!! on: February 12, 2019, 02:00:16 PM
BUY AND HODL. This is the best strategy to adopt, especially when the entire market is down, enthusiastis now and in a good position to buy bitcoin at a very reduced price.
Gamble with as much as you can afford to lose. Set your target profit, do not listen to media speculations or FUD, secure your assets, and make it accessible to your next of kin should anything happen to you.

I always recommend for noobs to hodl but intelligent people can do a little bit of trading and make more profit.  The crypto market follows similar patterns to the past and it would be dumb to sit with your hands folded while profits are there to be made.
663  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What % volume is just traders? on: February 12, 2019, 01:48:07 PM
Many exchanges have fake volume (wash trading) and bot trading.  Don't be fooled by shitcoins that have high volume that look to be legitimate.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will the possible ban on internet gambling in the US affect Bitcoin? on: February 12, 2019, 01:41:22 PM
It is really unfair for the United States government to ban online crypto gambling, I guess they get their bribes from Vegas casinos.  Corruption is everywhere.

A lot of players from the USA just use vpns anyways but if they run a kyc you are screwed.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are you guys mining with your AMD cards? on: February 12, 2019, 01:37:20 PM
Beam is a scam project, why would you mine something that has a huge founders tax. It is just another pump and dump scam.

Right now just mining ethereum and monero, not really making money but the free heat is nice.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 11, 2019, 02:08:00 PM
HAHA, that Ricky Davis attempt is legendary status Smiley Don't think that rebound even counted so it was all for nothing.

I respect Westbrook more than Durant, at least he didn't go and join a 73 win team that was already loaded just to get an easy path to a championship ring.
667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are traders born or made? on: February 11, 2019, 01:55:12 PM
I actually think a large part of being a trader is your emotional mindset.  This is something you are born with and whether or not you can keep your emotions in check and not get angry.  I believe the same thing applies for poker.  Of course you need to learn all the technicals but without the right personality you won't succeed.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: An eco alternative to crypto currencies on: February 11, 2019, 01:44:19 PM
You need to spend a lot of money on advertising if you want your project to take off.  Without aggressive marketing your coin will end up in the graveyard with all the others.  There is just too much competition for your project to stick out from the crowd.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you still get rich with crypto? on: February 11, 2019, 01:32:57 PM
Of course you can, gains can be made it any market.  It doesn't matter if there is a crash or a bull run.  You can always short during the crashes and make huge gains.  It is all about being smart and making your moves before everyone else catches on.  If you have a trading strategy keep it secret so others don't encroach on your playing field.
670  Economy / Economics / Re: Institutional money into Crypto? on: February 11, 2019, 01:24:31 PM
Most people here don't care about crypto vs the banks.  They just want their bags to be pumped so they can dump for fiat money.  There aren't many hardcore libertarian left in bitcoin.
671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tips and suggestion on: February 10, 2019, 03:03:38 PM
All I can said that crypto trading far more riskier than ordinary stock trading so eventhough you have implement your step, you need need some extra effort for it for example , advancing chart analyzing skill , make trade plan, making money management.
Yes, it is not instant but it's possible

But the potential gains in crypto are so much higher.  Investing in stocks has become really boring, lol.

If the stock market fell 80% like bitcoin there would be so much panic and it would be declared a global disaster.
672  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best recommended mixer! on: February 10, 2019, 02:55:53 PM
I don't use mixers, what are you trying to hide.....? Huh Grin

Chipmixer is the most well known bitcoin mixer though and I would say bitblender is 2nd on the list.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: February 10, 2019, 02:53:36 PM
Sometimes you need to take a risk to achieve something great, playing safe will only bring you normal prize, but taking a risk need to back up by a detail calculation and research, without a proper preparation it will be the same with gambling
in 2017, usually all people massively invested all the money without understanding the coins , and now the majority says that this is a Scam , I think before any investment you need to disassemble the project

Just because prices are falling people are calling everything a scam.  This is crazy and these types will be the ones regretting not buying more when bitcoin hits a new all time high.  Every investment goes through dips and crashes but crypto takes it to extreme levels.
674  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet not responding for my 330 BTC withdrawal on: February 10, 2019, 02:42:58 PM
I can open my account with that time, that is why I bet on Superbowl. Then it was locked with no notice that is why I emailed them, then they replied that. After that. No reply ever since.

If that bet lose I think they will take it. Just thinking. But since it won, they cancelled and refunded it and blocked my account. Since they are still "investigating" take note, it is February 4. I withdrawed on January 2, and they are still investigating.

Albert

Without a doubt they would have kept your money if you lost.  These types of shady casinos have it both ways, whatever suits them they will do it.

Too many people are here blaming the victim instead of blaming cloudbet.
675  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most problem facing in the market? on: February 10, 2019, 02:36:22 PM
The biggest problem is the Mt Gox stash that will eventually be dumped on the market which will cause a cascade of sell orders.  More government regulation is always a threat as well as crypto continues to grow.
676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 08, 2019, 06:41:26 PM
This is actually really depressing, people are getting excited over bitcoin at $3600 after where we have been.   Roll Eyes

678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Concerning the future of bounty programs on: February 07, 2019, 02:26:10 PM
You shouldn't be relying on internet work as income.  It is too unstable and low-paying.  Get educated (doesn't have to be school, but do it yourself)

Get a real job and you will have skills that last a lifetime.
679  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffet has some very wise words. Crypto applicable. on: February 07, 2019, 02:10:54 PM
I appreciate the comparison and it is true that timing the markets is nearly impossible to do.  The stock market has alwars recovered and will most likely continue to do so but Warren Buffet would be the last person to ever invest in cryptocurrency Cheesy
