You can't use one myetherwallet.com for both coins. You need to make 2 wallets. Then you will have an eth and an etc Wallet/address. Choose your coin after you have generated your wallets. and what does it mean ? Seems to me like there is nodes on the wrong network. Hard to say if its accidental or someone trying something. The nodes are dropping them, for now. Don't worry, the new geth does that. It's checking that you have the right fork. When you first run geth it will say somthing like "this geth is set to appose fork" depending on how you set up your .bat file Just check the 7 digit number after the # is correct with the Non-fork Block Number here http://fork.ethstats.net/somthing like this #1990473 Mine checks for the new fork then drops it every 100 seconds or so because i choose not to fork |

The divisions are not just here my friend. They are in the US with "colour", “gender” also with Trump or Clinton. They are in Europe with immigration, they are in UK with Brexit, Palestine, Kurdistan, Ukraine,....
In addition to previous post: I have no issue with the Banks & Government taking deposits in crypto currency & issuing loans provided they are based on a pre agreed low “fractional lending limit” but, they cannot be trusted in "the supply of money".

The entire industry is a joke right now.
I see no mainstream adoption for crypto. I see the banks creating their own blockchains and blowing this feral industry out of the water. They'll show us in here what the word co-operation means.
Did you expect Bitcoin & co to replace monetary systems in just a few years? Banks might create their own blockchains for their own purposes like anybody else but we've made progress in Bitcoin as well as in smart contracts i.e ETH and now ETC. Banks might do private chains or they might fork Bitcoin who knows. Do we really need banks though? Isn't a decentralized currency supposed to be for the little man anyway? Now that we've found a way past banks and central banks, you are pissed about the technology not being ready to appease them? Azael is right. Remember the newspaper reference in the bitcoin genesis block? I think Bitcoin / Ethereum Classic will work together to give us what the banks could not. Government and the Banks should have no control over "the supply of money". |

Hay, I run a full node 24/7 (geth on windows) on my old server, never could understand how to add my details to this link? Oh well! I am in UK Cornwall, just a few miles from GCHQ Bude. if eth loses and etc is the new dominant chain. can vitalik and the core devs ( up there discribed ) demand to be the etereum clsissis foundation ?
vitalik could be an employee of Ethereum Classic but he would need to be watched closley. I mean he is clever right, but knowalge is not wisdom. You wouldn't want him involved in any decision making now would you? He has the anti Midus touch, everything he touches tuns to sh!t. And he is gonna need a job to keep him from getting into trouble. |
