Luton 3 : 3 Arsenal matching ongoing 62'

Please who is watching the match?
Are they really playing football or they are throwing the ball with hands.
Should I rather say they are playing without defenders.
How many more goals are we expecting?
682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 05, 2023, 09:25:12 PM
I nearly would have missed out of the mid week matches of not for a social media notification that popped up my phone and surprisingly to me, Chelsea and Manchester United will be playing this time tomorrow
Arsenal are definitely favorites in this game, Luton Town can only hope that they get at least a point from this game, though it isn't going to be easy. Arteta would want to extend Arsenal's lead at the top of the table, at least until the other teams around them play tomorrow. Luton's gameplan in this match is going to be simple, park the bus, defend and hope to get something via a counter-attack, they'll have no business whatsoever with the possession in this game, Arsenal will comfortably dominate in that aspect, and Luton will have to stop them from scoring.
So far Luton Town are doing it very well, they have even scored a goal. It stand 1-1 after 40 minutes and that was the first shot on goal and direct a goal. But Arsenal are much better, they are controlling the game. I dont think there are any changes at half-time by Arsenal, all the players look fit and I think it takes only time before they make the 2-1.
Exactly what Coyster predicted is what is happening in the match between Arsenal and Luton United. Luton has no place in the possession and neither do they have any place in passes completed and other notable statistics. However, I was surprised to see that Luton and Arsenal were playing on a 1 - 1. But for me to reconfirm, Arsenal has started leading them. I feel that Arsenal will win convincingly in the second half.
683  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I guess we sell at $48626 ? on: December 05, 2023, 08:51:20 PM
Bitcoins current all time high is sitting at $70k and the higher we go the less willing people are going to be to sell their bitcoins. Meaning if price reaches $48k there are more people who would want to buy bitcoin and push the price over the resistance at $50k and beyond to reach the previous ATH again.

And of course we may finally see a momentum build up that breaks through all these prices one by one.
This is exactly my prediction. Apart from the technical aspect, on the levels of common sense, I do not see any kind of resistance in $48. What I sense is that if Bitcoin reaches $48k, it will easily get to 50k because of some bull run rush.
Where I know significant drama will happen is getting to $100k. I have this great feeling that there will be sell pressure immediately bitcoin touches a new ATH and that pressure may prevent 100k. The only saviour to this impending scenario is the newbies who will be buying by then. If Bitcoin gets to 50k, I will stop my DCA and begin plan my exit strategy.
684  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos, when KYC will be introduced? on: December 05, 2023, 08:36:41 PM
Has everyone read this news today?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5476162.0

In this regard, the entire crypto-community has the following question:
Theymos, when KYC will be introduced at bitcointalk.org?
As weird as this might sound, it is also possible. Some years ago, if we were told that mixers would be banned in bitcointalk, we might not believe. Let's assume that FBI requires that theymos conduct KYC for all the users of bitcointalk or stop functioning. Do you think that theymos will choose shutting bitcointalk over KYC. Or do you feel that theymos will go to court to contest with the government.
685  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 will not pay anyone for the last week /Sinbad campaign/ on: December 05, 2023, 08:08:38 AM
Off topic a little but this whole situation does make me wonder if managers should keep spreadsheets private? Who knows how many address are being watched at this point?
I have no idea how to find the specific post, but I brought this up a while back.  It wasn't in the form of a suggestion if I recall, but a question as to why those spreadsheets are made public.  I got a bunch of answers.  And now here we are, all paranoid about what lists and what addresses might be on those lists are being kept by our elected thieves.  Dang, I'm thinking shit probably ought to have changed a long time ago.
I already asked this question when the issue of private spreadsheets became rampant. Although I didn't get an answer. There's a difference when a common user like me asks a question and when a reputable member like you asks a question. Your questions and opinions opinions will surely be respected.

But as someone already said, if the escrow address is made public, the essence of hidden spreadsheet is defeated. If I search the escrow address on a campaign pay day, I will be able to see all the campaign participants address, maybe I will have issues linking them, but a little more time will still reveal all.
686  Other / Meta / Re: Was the forum better before without Merit or is it better now with Merit? on: December 05, 2023, 07:52:15 AM
Much, much better now than before the merit system was created--and I think I've said that like a million times across the span of 5 years already.  While I think there's still a big shitposting problem, at least people aren't doing it with a stable of alt accounts that they're ranking up either to enroll in bounties/campaigns or to sell to account buyers.  The merit system swept the legs right out from under account farmers, and that was no small thing.

There used to be threads where it was obvious that alt accounts were responding to each other as though they were actually different people; you don't see that much anymore.
Even if I did not witness the old days, through your statement, I am able to understand how it was then. Even with the merit system, it is still not perfect as there are still loop holes. Now, let's imagine where the only thing required to rank up is actively count. The spam obviously would be much. A random person can decide to create 3 accounts and endeavour to make atleast a post (shitty post), in  each of the accounts a day, in less than 3 months, the 3 accounts will become full member accounts. Thanks to the merit system.

Mixero will continue their signature campaign until December 31st.
From January 31st we will move the campaign to another platform.
Probably a mistake? You meant January 1st 2024?
Royse is right.

Week ends on Saturdays and that would be 30th of December. But some participants may leave it until 31st of December and remove the signature before 1st of January.
The emphasis is on January 31st. This is not correct. It is a mistake.

The drama of six goals decorated the Man City vs Tottenham match

Tottenham dramatically managed to hold Manchester City to a draw with a tight score of 3-3 which was held at the Etihad Stadium. Chasing goals occurred in this match. Manchester City's three goals each came from Son Heung-min's suicide and the actions of Phil Foden and Jack Grealish.

Thanks to this result, Man City dropped to third place in the standings with 30 points. Meanwhile, Tottenham is stuck in 5th place with 27 points.
This match was very interesting and dramatic. Many opportunities were created and many goals were also scored by both teams.

Manchester City could have won this match if there had not been a controversial incident by the referee. where Man City got the opportunity to counterattack through Grealish. But controversially the match was stopped by the referee because Haaland had previously been fouled by Sanchez. Even though the referee could have decided that the match would continue for City because there was an advantage for them.
How were you very sure that the incident you described would have led to a goal? Why don't you consider that Tottenham would have won the match if son didn't score an OG. In football you expect the best but prepare for the worse. It was a good match full of perseverance and dedication. If there was a team that was supposed to win, I would have given it to Tottenham giving their sudden good form after weeks of poor performance.

I think it's time for Manchester City to make changes in their defence. In their last four games, they have conceded 10 goals despite investing so much in it. It is possible that their chances will get slimmer with the goals conceded, especially if it continues, even if they continue to score goals like they have been

No team is everly 100% complete. Manchester city is an attacking minded team, so don't expect them to be excellent in defence. Their forwards win matches for them by the number of goals they score and not the defence.

I'd like to try it out, but I'm not sure if it's still available.

Not open for participation. But if the above listed users don't comply, Royse might decide to open new slots
690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 03, 2023, 07:02:13 PM
Aston Villa, who continues to quietly collect points in the championship race, lost an important 2 points by drawing away from Bournemouth today.Aston Villa, who did not start the match well, saw the goal in the 10th minute. The second half of the match, which equalized the situation after 10 minutes and the first half was tied with a goal, passed in the same way.In the match, the home team played better in my opinion, but we can say that Aston Villa was not defeated because it had a good squad.
Almost everyone had anticipated that Aston Villa was gonna have a good win over Bournemouth and that wasn't a weird expectation because the performance of Aston Villa both in the European and England has been outstanding recently. I wasn't able to view the match between Bournemouth and Aston Villa because today because it wasn't my preferred match. But checking up for th statistics simply showed that although Aston villa dominated in possession and passes, Bournemouth was more offensive and had more inclinations to win.

It was really a tough match at the etihad stadium which ended in a draw game between Manchester city and Tottenham Hotspur, which the both teams went home with at least 1 point each. It wasnt really a good game for pep Guardiola and his expectations of going home with 3 points was cut short. But i do hope and expect a bounce back in there next league game.
Making bookers gave Tottenham no chance as they had an odd of over 10, I think it was a befitting odds for Tottenham Hotspur before the match as they have had a very poor run losing consecutively to not so strong team.
The match was a very exciting and I really did not see much difference between the two team, one thing is for sure and that's Tottenham up their game anytime they face a top four team.
I had always said that a good sports bet analysis or gambler shouldn't follow the book makers while making a bet. It is based on the recent poor performance of Tottenham that the bookmarkers rated them low. If not that Son scored in both posts, Totenham would have had a win over Manchester City this night.

Applications made before this post are not considered, unless they are deleted and posted again.
Thanks for this announcement!
I was just wondering why the rush. The manager didn't make any announcement yet and applications were flooding. Maybe in the future he may consider to disqualify people who applied indiscriminately.
Hhampuz I know does not hire based on first apply, so the rush was unnecessary.
692  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people give preferential treatment to mothers more than fathers on: December 02, 2023, 11:15:54 AM
while growing up as a child ,i noticed that i was so closed to my mother more than my father ,and i usually find it very easier to confide in her more than my father, i can easily run to her for financial help without fear even when i wanted to get money from my father i often go through  her to seek financial help from my dad but then i felt that it was an infant mentality even when i see my friends do same in their homes .

more so, while in the university i noticed also that 75% of those that use to call their parents, only their mothers  and even when they want to pay their school fees they also complain to their mothers instead of their fathers. however i have tried to make some researches about all these preferential treatments given to mothers than fathers but still i am not convinced about my findings and that is why i decided to bring in the question here in the forum because i know that it will be well explained here and hopefully i will get all the answers that i want here .Therefore my question here is WHY DO PEOPLE GIVE PREFERENTIAL TREATMWNT TO MOTHERS THAN FATHERS ?

It is only normal for one to be attached to the one you have more contact with. The one you communicate with more often. In most cases, the child have more contact with their mothers than their fathers. There are also situations where the father is always available for the children than the mothers, in such homes,  the children will communicate freely with their father than they do with their mothers. Even children who were raised by a kindhearted nanny will show her more love than they do for their absentee parents. We should note that children usually love both parents equally but will do more for the one that has more impacts in their lives.
693  Economy / Economics / Re: Idea and money are very important to investment. on: December 02, 2023, 10:57:42 AM
In many cases, I have seen lots of people who have money, especially huge money they got out luck yet do not know how to invest such money. In most cases, most of them  blow up their monies without investing and as a result of such reckless altitude, they return back to where they were before they got the money. People will always make excuses for not investing.

If you have a well drafted plan or ideas but have no money to  bring those plans into reality, you can always borrow funds from financial institutions to invest in such businesses. Same applies to those who have the money but no idea at all to put the money into good use. There are many institutions or organisations and even individuals out there who can help one invest their money in profitable ventures where they get steady returns on their investments, all they need from you is your willingness to invest and ofcourse you know there are prices to be paid.
694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You At Any Point In Time Blame Who Taught Or Led You To Gambling? on: November 30, 2023, 08:42:53 AM
How about have you at any time blamed the one that led you to gambling in your mind, or even told him face to face?
What do they blame them for? They only teach or inform about gambling. And we ourselves are the ones who actually have the decision to enter the world of gambling or not. because after all, before gambling, of course we already understand our own characteristics. So, yes, we ourselves have to be responsible for the decisions we make. Unless they promise various things if you follow them, this might be different, especially if they use tricks to get us to gamble. In this case, we ourselves also have to be alert and smart about all kinds of unreasonable invitations.

Everyone need to take responsibility for their mistakes and failures and stop playing the blame game. As far as you were not made to gamble under duress, then no one should be blamed when things do not go as expected.  If the outcome of these games were good,  no one would have been blamed.

Gambling is one industry that offers free entry and exit. When the game is no longer favourable,  you can always exit. The decision to stay back is made solely by gambler. If he cannot gamble in moderation, it is solely his duty to seek for help rather than point accusing fingers.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Request to learn gambling on: November 30, 2023, 08:12:00 AM
Well, this is another serious matter, and I had to discourage her.

It's about an old female friend who posted me just about two days ago; her request was for me to teach her how to gamble at any easy casino that she will understand so quickly and make money. Her motive for making this kind of request is because she wants a second source that she can use to earn extra income. I explained what gambling truly is, and I discouraged her from learning how to gamble.

Now, there's a simple question that I want to ask: do you guys think I should introduce her to gambling? If yes, what's the easiest game she can stake in and also enjoy while gambling?

Yes accept her request to know gambling since it will make her understand that what he thought is not really easy and for sure once he tried it then lose some amount of money she will immediately quit since her expectation didn't meet upon playing on a online casino. If you deny her request for sure he will just look for another guy or worst will follow a influencer that always tell a lie about positive results and she can be on huge harm especially if no one can guide her and gamble using hard earned money. So guide those people want to ask about gambling since for sure you are the right person to be ask like that and for sure she would understand immediately once she experience and understand how gambling sites works.

You are right. Everyone have the right to learn about gambling,  withholding the information she needs from her will do no good, she will still learn from other sources if she is really serious about learning. Teach her all she needs to know about gambling but do not forget to let her know the negative sides of gambling. With this winning  mindset she wants to join  gambling with, there are every tendencies that she might make gambling mistakes that might cost her the little money she has already. After learning all she needs to know, it is now left for her to decide if she still wants to go ahead with gambling or channel her resources to other projects with higher levels of certainty. She is an adult and should be solely accountable for the decisions she makes.
696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: November 30, 2023, 07:19:23 AM
There are people who have learnt how to trade, practiced on demo accounts for long but have not had the money to try trading on the market, and so they have abandoned trading to try search for money first. While there are others who have too little income, that they cannot profit from the market trading, they are always worried about loosing and because of that they make mistakes with their technical analysis and end up loosing the little money they have. Should trading be exclusive to financially comfortable and rich because of how risky it is?

"Trade with that amount you can afford to lose". Can the poor afford to lose anything? Obviously,  trading is for those who are financially buoyant and capable. Having just the technical skills is not enough and it is not adviceable to trade with loan money.  It is not a must to trade, if you do not have the needed resources to trade with,  you just have to look  elsewhere.

While there are others who have too little income, that they cannot profit from the market trading, they are always worried about loosing and because of that they make mistakes with their technical analysis and end up loosing the little money they have.

"Start small and grow later" is not applicable to trading. The amount you trade with goes a long way to show you are making a profitable move or just wasting your time. Trade with significant amounts and with your high trading skills, you will see position results.
697  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 30, 2023, 06:29:32 AM
Today, the average person that hears Bitcoin almost forgets that it is possible to own fractions of it. And they assume that you’re either owning at least one of it (which gave you the confidence to wear the Bitcoin clothing in public) or that you make a lot of money from it. You may not own so much Bitcoin yet, you can place targets on your back subconsciously and innocently. So, be careful; people are watching, don’t create the ideology of being rich.
People just  assume anyone that has something to do with Bitcoin (whether he is trading or hodling) is super rich. Wearing Bitcoin clothings will only affirm their curiosity because it is kind of rare to see people wear clothes with Bitcoin inscriptions and logos on them. Apart from the fact that the wearer of such outfit will be at risk of being a target to bad people, he will also be exposed to fake friendships. Yea, everyone wants to associate with the big guys. When you have such people around,  they won't rest until they drain you financially and your privacy too will obviously be at stake.

This is not just limited to Bitcoin.  In general,  once people know where you are earning from,  they begin to assume a whole lot of things about you and three things comes on their mind. It's either they ignore you, attack you or be friends with you. This is why we have to be careful who we expose our source of income to.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that this is aperfect analogy of how gambling addiction starts? on: November 29, 2023, 07:04:36 PM
Read this transcript of Andreas Analogy
The person who wins thinks they were lucky, but they don't think about all the times they lost. As you are doing this, it is triggering your dopamine centers.

This is just how addiction starts,  the hormone dopamine makes them become excited and motivated to gamble even when the game is becoming a problem to them. Most times, the victims do not even take note of all these signs of addiction,  all they know is that they are happy playing and when they lose, it motivates them never to give up.

Addiction can also set in when a gambler has no other job aside gambling.  No other hobby aside gambling. This can be disastrous as the gambler will channel all his time, attention and resources to gambling.  With time,  all he will think about will be gambling and there are every tendencies that he will become addicted to what he channels his mind to always. To avoid addiction,  every gambler needs to have other hobbies and jobs where they can channel their attention to too.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes betting is just ridiculous. Sometimes it is complete nonsense. on: November 29, 2023, 02:27:51 PM
Gambling is not limited to sports alone. Gamblers can bet on anything including war. I have seen cases where Gamblers place bets on women, especially those ones that prove to be too hard to get. Anyone who is able to convince the woman wins the bet. As ridiculous as it may seem, that's gambling for you and many derive fun doing this.

This now becomes a matter of personal decision to decide on what exactly to bet on. It is not morally right to gamble on humans especially when the victims are being affected negatively. During wars, lives and properties are lost, people become internally displaced along with other negative effects of war. This is a time they need our prayers,  moral support and even resources. Making money from this situation shows no regards for humanity.
700  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Is Ai a threat to Nigerias educational system on: November 29, 2023, 07:41:11 AM
I fon reason this matter tire and to me I no see anything wey they wrong with using Ai for school the main reason for that thing na to help reduce the work of students when they wan do assignments and other research. Waiting I come to understand say life they change gradually and the same time things they change. Our parents time school hard because them no get access to all this things, i  can not argue that students are getting lazy but the issue of Ai to me no be bad thing. Sometimes am sure the Ai self go give better explanation pass lecturer.

Yea, during our parents time school hard. Dem dey over stress themselves to get answers to questions and you know the difference between them and us now? That their educational era produce employable graduates.  Dem fit defend wetin dem study anytime and any day.

But you see this present generation now wey no like stress at all? na dem dey spoil the system and na still dem dey shout "school na scam". Why school no go be scam when students no know wetin dem dey do for school? They prefer to copy and paste rather than do their findings and researches themselves.

AI or no AI, the truth be say majority of our Nigerian students dey lazy and that one no be better thing. No be AI sef be our problem,  our problem too long.
