3)Anonymity/privacy, submitting KYC documents on exchanges is a no-no for some people, so if you are that person who doesn't want to do that, you should stick with your local P2P vendor, at least chatting the person over TG or Whatsapp somewhat protects your identity, or else you decide to reveal it to the vendor, so in this case, i guess you local vendor might be a much better option in terms of privacy/anonymity.

I been think say e get wetin you for chiping for here about the privacy something but I no see am.
For example, CryptopreneurBrainboss dey run exchange, so since wey I exchange 5 BTC finish with him, I dey fear to go him area make e no for set me up because him don sabi say I over hole the bar. You get my point now. That one na another reason why some people dey consider run their transactions for p2p exchange where person no go sabi who dem be and person go hardly trace them.
So, the privacy something just dey in two ways, e just depend on the one you wish to sacrifice.

Benzema missed the penalty, as a result of which Real Madrid could not achieve 3 points.
Failing to execute the penalty is not only Karim Benzema. Almost all players have also experienced failure to execute a penalty.
But I saw in the match against Osasuna, Real Madrid did not perform better than the previous game. Real Madrid also failed to capitalize on 12 minutes of normal time after D. Garcia was shown a red card.

Football is very unpredictable most times, that is why when I lose bet I'll just smile and move on. Who could ever imagined that Ossasuna will hold a complete Real Madrid squad to a full time draw, even in their current for.
Benzema was unable to score a penalty kick, which I don't find to be alot of problem because anyone can miss a pk. But the problem involved is that Benzema now has a serious rival in Lewandowski and such golden opportunities shouldn't be wasted anymoe

Interestingly, Nottingham Forest and Leicester City have almost identical stats over the last five games and both teams are at the bottom of the standings... But I can't understand how Leicester ended up there... They haven't managed to win a single game... I think it's very disgraceful for this club! Last season Everton nearly got relegated, now Leicester... Hopefully this goal will be the winning goal in this game...
Leicister team are now leading 3 0 and they will win this game comfortably its the needed result for leicister with their first win this season both players and their fans should be a little bit relieved, its a shame what is happening for both teams.

4 goals to nill is a big win for Liecester. At the moment the burden has left Liecester to Nottingham forest who made a world record signing of 20+ players. It will be a shame if they are relegated after singing that big numbers of players. The club may consider changing a coach.
Liecester now has a great confidence to continue the battle. Tonight's win is a boost to their moral and luckily for them, their next match is against Bournemouth, which I believe they should also be able to win.

Once again Dijk has been clumsy - and he's having a terrible season so far. He's making a costly error every game.

Well its not really every game though. Yeah some of the games but tonight its not really his fault though. The entire back line is not functioning as it should be and Liverpool is currently not in a good shape for sure after not winning for few times. Well selling Mane might seems like a bad decision now after all and increasing Salah's wage as well I guess lol  Roll Eyes

Not only V Dijk, almost all the Liverpool defence wasn't solid. Except for Arnold who was a striker in the match. The whole team is still suffering Mane's absent and it is difficult for them to cope. Today Nunez was on bench and even when Firmino was removed, I thought that Nunez will come in but Klopp instead brought Jota as a sub.
Liverpool needs to calm down and discover where the problem is coming from so that they can fix it and return to the excellent team we used to know in Liverpool.
1505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: October 01, 2022, 06:46:10 PM
Trading is like gambling but can't be regarded as gambling just because it shares certain few features with gambling technicalities in terms of prediction, analysis and odds that be.

Getting into trading it's like trying to learn a skill with a sense of direction unlike gambling that's just mostly based on prediction and luck streaks.

In anything we do in life, nothing is so sure and certain. There is some iota of luck and there is some iota of skills. What differentiate the two is the level or percentage of lucky, compared to percentage of skill. The who that has higher percentage would be called the principal. For example, gambling is 70% luck and 30% skills and we say it is gambling. While trading is 70% skills and 30% luck and we call it trading. They share similar features and both has the ability to make one lose money.
1506  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I keep my Bitcointalk acc safe if truly it can be hijacked on: October 01, 2022, 04:35:44 PM
It is not only by having access to your email that hackers can hack your account. There are many methods, but majority of hacked account was when the bitcointalk itself was hacked or hijacked, many people lost their account then.

Also you can lose your account by phishing bait, by clicking another link to login to a malicious website thinking it's btt.

Again your username is "Tamedbeast", a hacker can try to login your account by guessing random passwords like "TamedBtt" "Beast1234" "BeastTamed" and could be lucky if you use weak and guess able passwords.

You have to be privacy conscious even offline when using your phone close to friends or untrested people too.
1507  Other / Archival / Re: Don't worry, bitcoin is cyclical on: September 30, 2022, 06:53:33 PM
Actually the present Bitcoin price was once an all-time high but then we already have so many other all time high after then so we a familiar with this market condition, unless for the newbies who are just getting into Bitcoin and have taken Bitcoin as some form of an escape route from financial limitation there by taking Bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme and they expect a 10x price increase the moment they buy.

But for those who have been around for a while now, you will know that the present Bitcoin price condition is just a.phase that will soon pass away and a new price trend will be seen again.

This is how it has been and that will not change in the future, so we have to get used to it.

Everyone here was once a newbie in the cryptocurrency until we began to understand how things work and begin to play along. I remember I have sold bitcoin at great loss even when I don't have need for the money. It is just because my money was going down and I thought it will not rise again. After I sold at great loss, it was less that 14days, Bitcoin turned back and entered into profits, that was actually a great lesson for me. It showed me that even if bitcoin goes very down, it will still return back to bull. Many of the newbies will not understand till they learn by experience and after that they will get use to the process. Bitcoin is just cyclical.
1508  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: September 30, 2022, 06:40:35 PM
Sha all na win for African but you think say Ghana fit overthrown Nigeria for the cryptocurrency industry? No dey biased oh una well-done.

Ghana no go fit overtake Nigeria for crypto matter, no how e go fit take happen. E no dey possible. Crypto things na game of numbers and Nigeria get the numbers pass Ghana by far. The only thing Ghana go do na to improve but Ghana no fit overtake Nigeria.

Imagine say Nigeria get some kind crypto restrictions with banks and government yet dem still dey top the chart. We know say as future dey go, those restrictions go comot and more adoption go enter wella for Nigeria. So the future bright wella for Nigeria and crypto.
1509  Economy / Speculation / Re: October price guess on: September 29, 2022, 08:49:05 PM
I don't expect much from the market thos month as October has always been a resistant month, that is to say, the price of Bitcoin will struggle to sustain its resistance level all through the month.

With no significant price increase, Bitcoin may even face a further decline before it picks up again around November -December so let's see how things go but the best thing to do right now is to handle more Bitcoin since we are sure that 2023 will be a build-up year to Bitcoin halving.

I can say that bitcoin will still be roaming around the stage of $17k to $25. We will continue in the consolidation till bitcoin gatheres enough momentum to move upwards. We may see $30k towards the end of October to usher us into November mini bu run and it will not last long to return us to the state we are in same November and we will continue that way till we welcome 2023.

That is the best I have seen with my little knowledge of chat, from January upwards, I do not know how the bitcoin market will happen by then. But it is safe, if we can be buying from now till then.
1510  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: In future when crypto is everywhere how will we protect ourselves? on: September 29, 2022, 08:37:09 PM
In the future how will we keep ourselves safe? When crypto becomes general something and everyone owns coins and tokens and we all become our own banks don't you think this will have a bad effect? Criminals of the future will just kidnap you and ask you, recovery seed or your life, I just think about this now, I think you should too

It's always bank problem if anything happens to customers money, robbers don't rob homes anymore since they knew only few money can be get but banks became the main target.

I feel a bit safe here because many don't know what crypto is, I can start talking about crypto from morning till night and every one will look at me like I am losing my mind.

Just passing by....

There will never be a time that banks will be no more and everyone will become there own bank, never. What happens is that banks will modify their operations to soothe the crypto standards. I think they are doing already in CBDC and when they do this, exchanges also exist and bew technologies will also emerge by then to handle the situations.

But for now no need to brag that you own large bitcoin. Even as you are using bank presently, criminals will also hold you at gun point and ask you to transfer all your money to their account number.
1511  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is good leadership enough to fight corruption? on: September 29, 2022, 08:27:20 PM
I want to answer you based on the context of what you wrote and what is happening in the country in question.
According to your post, good governance is not enough to fight corruption. It takes a man who will be undemocratic to some extent to fight corruption. In a democratically corrupt country, if a good leader arrests a corrupt person, the law doesn't permit him to sentence the person, he must pass the arrested through the magistrate which is assumed to be corrupt also. The magistrate will accept bribe and discharge the person inside the same society.
The good leader will catch another person and the circle repeats like that, so it takes more than goodness to fight corruption.
1512  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Power Or Money ? on: September 29, 2022, 08:20:23 PM
Power is Power,
Money is also Power.

So, if you're too choose one, what you down for ?
Power or Money ?

I want power. Both of them are just similar, but I will go for power because with power you can command and get money, but sometimes even with your money, you may not be able to have the power, especially if the power you are seeking for are with other powerful people who may not be able to release it.
A statement says power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely. Also money does the same thing . But it is better you have both power and money in moderation.
1513  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: September 29, 2022, 08:12:09 PM

I believe say everybody get their presidential candidate wey he go vote for, the Yorubas will vote for Tinubu ,while the northern might vote for Atiku, we should just be wise to make a right choice in choosing a good leader, since the history of democracy in Nigeria we have never made the right choice in electing a good leader except Late Umar Yaradua but he died on the seat.

Frankolala, I no lie you, if you bring this formula wey you carry come say Yoruba go vote Tinubu, Hausa vote Atiku while Igbo vote Peter Obi. Make you know say Peter Obi go carry last. Our problem no be yoruba, hausa and Igbo. The battle na between the corrupt politicians and their parties Vs Obi and the youths. Any where you dey discuss Obi, try not to put tribal something or religion something, because both no just favour Obi at all. Make we just dey depend on the power of the youths.
1514  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: September 28, 2022, 11:53:42 PM
@ Igehhh In Nigeria, it is had to see who is not corrupt even me and you we are corrupt. What I mean is that 90% of Nigerians are corrupt due to the way we grew up in the society, that is why there is a say that say your environment will influence you. Corruption has different degrees, some do it because is their habit and some do it because they are lured into corruption. Peter Obi is corrupt fine but not to the level of Atiku and Tinubu.

Baba you talk am well. Nobody be Saint, e fit be say Peter Obi no go fit solve Nigerian problems, but one thing sure, if him no go fit solve am, we believe say him no go add more to the problems.  Peter Obi fit no be the best, but na the available best.

No well meaning Nigeria youth wey no get any direct benefits from Atiku and Tinubu go support say make any of the theives win.
See, if Obi fails us, we go regroup for another 4years look for another person. We no want this "na my turn people" wey don share Nigeria positions reach their grand children and we no know.
1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 27, 2022, 11:34:43 PM
I don't really see any reason why Mbappe would want to go to Real Madrid. Even though Real Madrid have won the CL a few times recently, PSG are a better team. And Mbappe's salary can also easily be paid by PSG. Now he plays at the forefront along with Messi and Neymar, isn't that what everyone wants? Benzema will not be happy with the arrival of Mbappe, because he is the number 1 striker there, and Mbappe wants that too. Mbappe is seen as the best striker in the world right now, but as long as PSG don't win the CL it has little value. And what should Mbappe cost? We're talking about 200 million or maybe more.
Mbappe will want to move to Real Madrid to fulfill his childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid, tbh Real Madrid have the capability to sign Mbappe, this transfer is very likely to happen in the future. I will love to see Mbappe in Madrid and linking up with the likes of Rodrygo, Vinicius and the rest of the young and talented Madrid team and I have a feeling these players will blend in very fine and will form a more formidable partnership at all positions for Real Madrid.

Did someone say that Psg is a better Clun that Real Madrid and also said that Benzema won't be happy for Mbappe to go Real Madrid? I can say that you are not sensitive to what is happening in football. Benzema happens to be the most angry person as Mbappe deal failed. Benzema is old and can't lose his kingship to anyone. Do you watch Benzema and Mbappe in France to know that both can play with each other without problems?
Can you tell me why you said that PSG is a better team than Real Madrid?
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 27, 2022, 11:12:42 PM
Big congratulations to Spain. While I was waiting for the draw, Morata scored the goal that put Spain ahead and they eliminated Portugal in the last minute. I was very happy for them. Even though Spain seems a little lower in terms of squad quality, I think beating Portugal away is enough to show that they are a team. They became a cohesive team.

Portugal's problem was that, to start thinking about the draw.
Around 60 minutes into the game, Portugal simply started to retreat on the field and play a counterattack game. While Spain refreshed the midfield and attack, with substitutions. Portugal simply did not change the team, and was waiting for the last 5 minutes to make relevant substitutions. By then, it was late, as he was already losing the game and would hardly be able to score.

I didn't see Spain playing an extraordinary game, nor do I think they proved to be a team capable of selling the World Cup. Portugal, on the other hand, if it continues to play games in the style with a lot of thought in the draw, it shouldn't go very far in the World Cup either.

That is exactly what happened, Portugal came with draw mindset, they knew that draw will qualify them for the next round and they were clued to the worse case scenario draw mentality. Portugal actually played better than Spain and had alot of good chances. Ronaldo's sharpness has reduced, no one can cheat nature. I don't know if Portugal will sti rely on him for this world Cup outing.
1517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 27, 2022, 10:40:25 PM
In fact, Real Madrid still has a bigger chance of winning this season than Bayern Munich. However, as we all know, predictions are not easy, both Man City, PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, are big teams that are always expected to be champions.

Not quite, according to the average odds of bookmakers we have the following probabilities:

Manchester City - 29.4%
PSG - 14.7%
Bayern München - 12.2%
FC Liverpool - 10.6%
Real Madrid - 9.1%
FC Barcelona 7.7%

Source: https://www.bettingodds.com/football/champions-league/winner

According to the bookmakers, Manchester City's CL victory seems to be the most likely with just under 30%. After that it is very very close and all other top teams have similar probabilities.

Every season we have similar predictions, we will always put Real Madrid far from the top, we will always disrespect them and they will always prove us wrong. Underrate Real Madrid at your own peril. Whether they are inform or not, provided that they are in the Champions League always rate the first. As long as it is Champions league, never bet that Real Madrid will lose match, this is how it should be until it is proven wrong, but till then, I put Real Madrid at the top of your chart. Sorry if this offends you.
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 27, 2022, 10:31:26 PM
I don't think this match is likely to be a draw. Basically, I think Manchester United players will play with the aim of drawing the match. But Manchester City's players will be aiming to get full points from the match and occupy the top spot in the points table.
Yes, Man City players must try all out to win the match because they expect to overtake Arsenal in the first place. Moreover, the match will be held at Man City home, they must have a high motivation to win with big scores. There is no reason that Man City to expect a draw result. Guardiola will be a shame if they fail to get full points, the match against Man United is very crucial for them. It is not only about the points, but it is also about the prestige.

Can anyone remember the strategy that Erik Ten Hag used to win Arsenal in his last Premier league match? If we can remember, we will know that Manchester United can come out of that Manchester with a whole 3 points. Erik set trap for Arteta and he fell for it. When he introduced Ronaldo and remove Antony and Sancho,  the whole Arsenal players came forward to press because they say Ronaldo as old and Rashford capitalised on that and dealt with them. Counter attack is real

Senior man, make I no lie you, I give Nigerians just this last election, if nothing happen, I go commot my hand and mind for anything wey concern government and politicians. See I no go even read or listen political news again. I go just dey totally apolitical.
There are many other Nigerians like you who are on this table and just giving this last election our all, hoping that we can get it right it this time. If we don't, it will be another eight years of uncertainties. There is already a large number of Nigerians leaving the country, many more will follow if the election results is not a reflection of the people's mandate.

My brother, do you know that if I dey like this I go just dey reason Nigeria matter, how we carry offend God. Why e be say our Leaders too wicked? E come be like e get court all of them dey enter swear say dem go dey wicked before dem go win election. If no be so, why we no do mistake get one good person.

Baba, I no like violence o...but you see this 2023, if Obi no win, anywhere and anyhow the wahala wan just start make person inform me, I dey ready.  E come be like say God don commot hand since leave us to face our wahala by ourselves.

Actually this happened to me last week. I have logged in my account in a particular browser since I created it and I don't log it out. I always open the browser and use the forum without problems of logging in, solving captcha or related issues.

Last week I got a new mobile phone which I only use outdoors due to some sensitive files I have in my main phone. So, I was out for 2 days and had a need to use the forum. Trying to login, I forgot my password and I didn't want to reset my password. I struggled for almost 15 minutes to no avail. Finally, I have to calm myself and remember how and when I created the account, I remembered the circumstances behind creating the account, from there I remembered my password  Grin
