1621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin so volatile?  on: August 14, 2022, 04:04:08 PM
What are your opinions about it? I read this article recently about https://moneyinvestors.net/cryptocurrencies/why-is-bitcoin-so-volatile-4-fundamental-reasons/ do you agree with these 4 fundamental reasons?
At least when making a post, you should outline your points first even before going ahead to put your reference link. Not everyone has the energy to go over your link reading all that.
From the  article, the four fundamental reason were;
 1: lack of regulation
2: magic of supply and demand
3: a technology still in evolution
 4: world conflict
(.......)
Thanks for putting it here, lol.
Among the list, I am more hooked on the lack of regulation, that's why it is also volatile for example, there is some news that affects negative Bitcoin and the price will get affected in just a short period of time, because you see that Bitcoin market is 24/7, anything can happen anytime.

I feel the number one point is very valid and it will continue to be valid because there is no how every institution, everyone  and every country will agree to one term of regulation. The regulation would be country by country base, government by government base.
Apart from the above 4 points listed, it is good that we understand that volatility is a feature of bitcoin, so it can be true to say that it is the nature of bitcoin to be volitile. Let us understand that and have peace of heart.

The best match of the week in the English Premier League may be the match between Chelsea and Tottenham. I have a hard time predicting the outcome of this match. Chelsea beat Everton away last week. Tottenham beat Southampton at home last week. Both teams started the league well. Both teams strengthened their teams by making important transfers before the season. Chelsea will use the home advantage in this match, but we all know that Tottenham are not an easy opponent.

It is a very interesting match, it is about 15 muns into the match and I cannot figure out the club that has more possession or control. Tbh, Tottenham is very good now and this was not the team of last session. It will not be surprisedif they will make top4. Chelseaon their is playing pressing football. Having Starling playing false 9 while Koulibalyand his main are very focused at the defence. My prediction is that if Son will not play independent football,  Tottenham may have the day.

Edit: Goal by Koulibaly.

What is there to rush about? The bear market is just getting started anyways, we are at 24k+ per BTC and we will go down to 18k again, we will be in this range for a long period of time to buying opportunity is going to stay around for quite some time, no need to rush.

You analyze with so much authority as if you are the owner of the bitcoin and bitcoin market. What I understand in this crypto is that nothing is too possible and nothing is too impossible. First I was thinking that witj the volume of bitcoin in the market that it can no longer fall down to 20k but see us today struggling in 20k. Bitcoin can still make 70k this year if it wants to make it. So I do not fix my mind to one particular thing that will happen because anything can happen in this crypto market.
But I know that there will always be a buying opportunity in the market.

The most valuable aspect of your life in this forum is not judged by the username you answer or the position you occupy, the talent you possess, the influence or power you command in the forum, intellectual ability about crypto, or managerial skills, but by the kind of personality you display in the forum will tell and cover if your username sounds odd.
The username serves as easy identification. It is not used as an attestation for someone but rather it's the integrity of the person is what people look at before any other thing
When you say the integrity of the person. My question is which person? You don't know the person, so it is the username that represents the person. That is why the username is so important. Account like LoyceV has plenty of integrity, but if he hands over his accounts to me, all the integrity that is attached to his account is transferred to me. That is why I agree that it is important to protect your username because it is the username that represents you. No wonder it cannot be easily changed.
1625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: August 13, 2022, 09:42:12 PM
Trading is not gambling and gambling is not trading. But trading came be likened to gambling in one condition. When the trader doesn't know anything about trading. He doesn't also know about chart movements, does not understand the market movements and price movements. When he doesn't have a working strategy, maybe he just enters market and expect to make gain, by this we can say that the trader is gambling. Even gamblers will be better than the trader because gamblers have what they watch out for like odds and they could make more gain than an inexperienced trader.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 13, 2022, 09:25:36 PM
Manchester United are really getting worse with each passing year. They never showed a good team image after Alex Ferguson. Jose Morinho actually tried to explain this situation ironically before. I think they need a radical change. A few player transfers will definitely not be enough for them.

Quote
Jose Mourinho has said finishing second in the Premier League with Manchester United was one of the best achievements of his career.
https://www.goal.com/en/news/mourinho-finishing-second-with-man-utd-one-of-my-greatest/1tse3e8ox6f8b154kiu0sdqlfu

Jose was right. Jose is actually the best performing coach of Manchester United after Sir Alex. For the fact that Manchester United expections were very high and they were measuring to remain in the class Sir Alex put them, they didn't value the efforts of Mourinho and could not give him time. Finishing second and also winning the Europa League without much good players was iconic and deserves to be praised.
1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 13, 2022, 08:43:56 PM
In the Manchester United defeat today my condolences goes to ETH, he doesn't deserve two consecutive lose to average clubs, that is not a nice way to say welcome to England. It is obvious he has lost his confidence and he will not be bold again for any further selections he will make. Just a win is needed to boost his morale. The club will continue to suffer defeat if they still have the likes of Maguire, Rashford, Mason Tommy, Fred, Dalot and Bruno in the club.

Another notable mistake was De gea, he needs to train on how to use his feet well and help defenders. He has zero confidence. I miss Romero.

I bought many tokens, the price is now much lower than the money I bought it with. Is there a possibility that the market will rise in the future?

 Welcome and recommend me please

It all depends on the tokens you bought. If they are shitcoins or ICO, it might not return to what it was when the bear market continues. But if it is well known altcoins that you bought, don't bother so much, before the ending of September, btc will get to $30k and your tokens will return to live. Disclaimer - DYOR.

If you are buying any coin apart from bitcoin and some popular altcoins, make sure you enter the market at a good time and do not stay for long without getting out of the markets. Most of the altcoins aren't reliable, you don't need to sleep on them for long.
1630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You have not lost a dime if your Bitcoin is in your wallet on: August 12, 2022, 08:37:42 PM
You didn't lose anything until you sell the Bitcoin but not everyone is holding lot of Bitcoin in their wallets, apart from the early investors most of the others are just having few hundred or thousands worth of bitcoins so cutting the half of its value is not an easy task for them. One who prepared for this can conquer the investment of cryptocurrencies which is buy low and sell high but many just followed the hype should be in the oain and just became the prey of whales.
When you talk about Bitcoin holding and wallet then we have to focus on two factors that are, 1 when you buy the Bitcoin, and in doing so buying low is the best entry position. That is becausewhen you buy Bitcoinat low price you accumulate more than when you buy when the price is high.
2: never listen to fud and always hold your Bitcoin in a private wallet that way your Bitcoin is secured and safe from third parties.
Apart from people who has the mind of long term investment, people who is doing short term investment dont need to keep holding even when there is sign for you to sell. If you sell high it is better because you can buy back later and even get more Bitcoin. This is more good than holding and the price goes down and you wait for so long for the price to come back to the initial level you were before the market started going bear. This can mean that you are not making profit and you are not loosing.

The top clubs on the new season premiere league tables have matches to play over this weekend, let see what their performances will be as i also look forward to see how Manchester United will handle they next match which is on Saturday. If their fail to win this time that will mean a market for C Ronaldo

Manchester united match on Saturday should be a must win for the club. They deserve to win in order to keep the new managers hope alive. They deserve to win in order to awaken the team confidence. They deserve to win for the fans in order to give them sense of belonging again. They deserve to win in order to shut the media up. They deserve to win in order to make Ronaldo stable and theh deserve to win in order to remain united. I wish them good luck.

Yawa2020 my brother I understand your pain. It's well, what you suffer now is exactly what some of our senior men dem suffer when dem discover this place back in the years. They were in the bounty section without knowing wetin dey sup for other parts of the forum. E been no easy for them, if you hear most of them stories you go understand. People like me come when help don dey around, atleast person go tell you how to quote, the type of post to make and boards to avoid. Una Wehdone my people. Concerning wetin Oga Coyster and Igehhh talk, which some people don chuck mouth into. This one na only thread wey we get and we go want make e dey clean for all of us.
I just notice say new new people dey try long quote or reply consecutively for the thread. People wey their hands don strong no dey do am.

Again, new people e no mean say make una no post again, make una post, any mistake wey una wan make, make una make am here and get correction than to go make am for the larger forum. Some local boards wet no dey understand English, some people dey only post for local board till dem even reach Sr member or Hero rank. So, make una no feel anyhow but important thing be say, if person give correction, make we try learn fast so that that particular mistake no go repeat again.

The rule be say;
  • If you post, wait make 1 or 2 people post too before you go drop another post
  • Another rule be say, some posts wey long, if you wan quote the post, e no necessary say you go quote the whole post, you go need to delete some part wey no too make meaning for wetin you wan comment, so that the whole thing no go too long. Na wetin make for some posts you go see something like
Code:
<snip>
before dem go comment.
  • If na image you wan post, for the image opening tag, make you try put width property to like 200 and below, so that the image no go cover the whole page

Make una thank you very much.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 09, 2022, 11:00:59 PM
Werner's form did drop a lot and I don't know if Chelsea were expecting too much or if Werner wasn't playing well there which made it a bit difficult for Wener to be at Chelsea but the same thing actually happened for other strikers there like Lukaku and even Ziyech. So I really wonder if it's the quality of the players who aren't playing well at the moment or if they don't match Tuchel's formation in attack.
I will not blame Tuchel's tactics or formation, i can't find anything wrong with the tactics he uses, Werner was bad playing for Chelsea and nothing else, the same thing with Lukaku, they were given their chances to perform in the team, but they didn't. It does not mean that Werner is not a quality player, he was good when he was playing for Leipzig, that is why Chelsea spent a lot of money to get him to their club, now he is back to Leipzig he may start playing as good as he was doing then. I don't know if Chelsea will go for another striker, or play Sterling in the number 9 position.

It is Tuchel's tactics and lack of Team behavioural management that is causing it. We might not say this for Wener, Zyich and Harverts because they were not even resourceful for Lampard that bought them, many people believed that new coach will make them good. But now there is not improvement under Tuchel. But you see Lukaku's failure in Chelsea is Tuchel's fault. He killed the giant in Lukaku, betrayed him and set him up against the fans. Now that there is no Lukaku, I am not seeing anyone in the whole Chelsea forward apart from Sterling.

I heard Manchester United are about to bring Adrian Rabiot to England, is good news that United are entering the market after this weekend embarrassing result, but my fear is that is Rabiot what Manchester United needs, because he is coming to play the holding midfield role that Fred and mactominay plays and I don't think he is better than Fred and I believe rabiot can't give you 4 good performance consecutively so what's the essence for this panic buy.
This is my second time of hearing that the Juventus guy of a man isn't an upgrade on Fred and Mc Tommy. I have been wondering why I don't actually know the play method of the Rabiot though. It shows that he is not a class. The club called Manchester United should not be under pressure to sign a defensive midfielder and sign another average player to pill up the bench. I thought they said that Martinez can play 4, he should play 4 then and give Varane or Baily chance to join the defence. This might work till the club finds a better player to sign. My Tommy and Fred are not helping the club in any way.
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 09, 2022, 10:38:46 PM
Tottenham is not a single serious championship contender. Chelsea do have considerably more opportunities, but are of course under Man City. Liverpool have had a bad start. Chelsea have a better team than Tottenham, but at Tottenham you never know how they are going to play. They can literally beat anyone in the PL on a good day, but they can also lose to relegation candidates. I wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea win this match 4-0, for example. I don't know the goal of Tottenham Hotspur either. Qualifying for the CL (so finishing in the first 4?) would be a good challenge.

Why do you think or believe that Chelsea has a better team than Tottenham? Are you for real? Chelsea defence is back in good shape with the presence of Silva and Koulibaly no doubt, their midfield is also fine with Kante finding his form again. Then, the forward is where I disagree with you. Every forward that Tottenham has is better than Chelsea forward. Infact the o ly good forward that Chelsea has is Sterling. I do not consider Harverts, Zyiche and Timo Wener serious because they are not. The Tottenham Kane and Son with the likes of Lukas Mora are going to fight he'll this season and I am sure they will finish ahead of Chelsea my former club.

1640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the future of Bitcoin uncertain? on: August 06, 2022, 06:20:40 PM
What could be the state of Bitcoin in the future?

This is discussed all the time but I am asking this question because my elder brother said that after 2025 Bitcoin will not exist anymore and will be completely dead. He also said that after 2025 Bitcoin will not be mined so that Bitcoin will not be able to hold its own position

Having followed Bitcoin from 2017 till date makes no sense to me to start doubting Bitcoin's future looking at the past historical record and current history to start thinking about the uncertainty in the future, Looking at the state of Bitcoin right now it will be a big weight for governments around the world to ban the entire use of Bitcoin, soon it will get to a stage where government will have no option than to start adopting Bitcoin due to increasing demand.
To conclude I see brighter future for Bitcoin and not uncertainty.
Bitcoin has passed the stage of being doubtful about its future. I have no doubt that bitcoin will stay with us for atleast the next 30yrs. I said 30yrs because nobody can predict the future successfully, many technologies will come and change things, so when try to predict the future we shouldn't go too far, incase things may change.
