In past there were few usable CPU coins for some short time, and they are all dead due assholes with botnets and AWS, those fucks destroy all!
You can look at them as cancer no more no less (I mean the ppl)

you know CPU usage on opencl pascal is due no one tested it on NV and fixed the bug? also pascal mining was not profitable on NV at all, and the wallet/coin is so big FUCKUP it prolly will never be again
Offtopic you complained about your weak gpu..i just told you that with the proper cpu you wont have this issue. And this had nothing to do with the opencl at all..it is one piece of the puzzle. but looks like you wanna have the last freakin word of hot air. Ok you are right, and still I am mining zcash, decret, cuda pascal, lbry, ethereum, FTC, + CPU mining at same time on rig of 5 x 1070 on dual core CPU with no issue at all Because GPU miner should not and does not use CPU more then few % pascal opencl for NV is broken, no one fixed it or try it to fix CPU usage, its stupid to have 8 core CPU on 6 GPU rig due same stupid bug |

@ ioglnx I can only say LOL! I would invest 8 core CPU for my rigs if any benefit can be faund (expect the bugs) But you see where u end up if you by cheap and not properly doing your math. Its well known about resources required by mulit gpu setup. In the end ..if I were you I would cry..or stop cry and accept the fact i saved on the wrong part. *cough* be serious man, none cuda nor proper opencl NV miner need more then 2 cores, my rigs are only for GPU mining and all proper miners works out of problem as soon you point me to benefit from i7, its just CPU swap and I will do it, but for sure it will be not for crapy stupid pascal opencl bug and I was already thinking about i7 CPU if CPU mining would not be i INSANE due botnet and greedy assholes using AWS etc... shame on them |

99.7% with 5-6 cards rigs have dual core CPU, so its a big issue, i5 can not do more the 3 cards, maybe i7 (due HT??) or some octa core CPU can do 6 cards... which is insane to use on rigs due some stupid bug

GTX 1070 -- 962Mhs no cpu usage (nicehash miner)
sgminer opencl -- 1.06Ghs, huge CPU usage
still sgminer is faster but not usable with 3+ cards rigs

can you fix CPU usage on Nvidia and pascal cards in opencl? there is no way to run 5 cards rig on any CPU, each card use 30% from i5 CPU NV 1070 works fine with -w 1024, speed is 1Ghs, but as I sad CPU usage is problem with opencl and NV zcash did not work on NV ethash works fine with gpu thread 1, but only HW errors, need to play with settings |

@optiminer would be nice if you can do any work on NV, after nicehash stoped developing (and releasing their code to opensource as nheqminer 0.5b) ewbf (aka claymore brother ) also lost interest to do more  anyway in windows tahiti cards are now a bit faster then with latest claymore |

don`t know sp2 with one thread is 99% GPU usage and two thread 100% but no gain
sp1 mod had same speed for 2 threads, and 1 thread was slower... maybe its like that on windows

sure the CPU is crashing it, on i5 2x 1070 CPU usage is 60% and speed is 2.140Gh/s with
-I 24 -w 1024 -g 1

and still sgminer opencl is faster for me, just checked SP2 speed, its 920Mhs on 2Ghs sgminer is 1.06Ghs on same clock, gtx1070, shame still no one fixed CPU usage, so only 3 cards per i5 can work, 5 card rigs are possible on 8 core CPU |
