701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading Crypto (instead of Forex) on: April 25, 2023, 08:23:55 AM
I think one really big advantage of trading Crypto is not only the volatility but also the available data.

When analyzing Bitcoin, for example, you have soo much more data to watch than with forex.
Both markets are sensitive with news but with Bitcoin and its public ledger, you can analyze on-chain transactions and data to see how hidden games are playing and setting up. It is not easy even if you have analytical results (charts, data, reports) from free sources, it requires you a lot of time, experience, knowledge about Bitcoin and this market to understand it and make your plans with on-chain data.

It is a big plus for Bitcoin market and cryptocurrency market than Forex.
702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical indicators vs the News on: April 23, 2023, 01:24:53 PM
Both are better and are important. But a trader should pay more attention to the news than technical indicators. It should be in the ratio of 70 - 30. The news is important because it will avail you information of the latest sentiments in the market and how they positively or negatively impact the worth of Bitcoin. It acts as a future predictor and therefore more attention should be given to it.
I disagree with you.

News is like tip of iceberg but it is not the real reason. Real reason is because of technical indicators show that the market must have a big change so news is released to direct the market to what it should move. Do you see like after a market has its big movements, hours later you will see some articles on Coindesk, Cointelegraph and other sites to make it like there are reasons for the latest big movement. It is to make people think that the market is actually moving naturally. In fact it moves by manipulation from Market makers.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 23, 2023, 10:08:18 AM
Newcastle are playing great home games this season... They have more stability than Spurs, who play very unpredictably... Spurs have failed to win any of their last five away games, including against Everton and Southampton... It will now be a battle to qualify for the Champions League... I think Newcastle will win, despite last week's embarrassing game against Aston Villa...
Both Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur started to show more problems when the season comes to its ending. Newcastle United still have one of best stats for lost games with only four lost matches so far. Better than them is only Arsenal and they have same total lost match like Manchester City. However, a biggest problem with Newcastle United is they got too many draws in this season. They have good attacking that is shown in goal difference but their attacking players did not maintain their ability to score goals and help the club to win regularly. They can have big win but later have disappointed draw and it is their issue.

With Tottenham, they only have 3 points less than Newcastle United but already played one more match. In fact they only have 3 points more than Liverpool with same total matches. That means Tottenham will have to chase Newcastle United as well as maintain their position against Liverpool. After sacking Conte, they did not have improvement that is bad for them in such a very important period of Premier League.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Bitcoin: Unlocking the Potential of Decentralized Finance on: April 23, 2023, 09:59:47 AM
Although the primary use of Bitcoin has been as a speculative asset or a store of wealth, its underlying technology, the blockchain, has the potential to completely change a variety of industries, including finance.
Bitcoin has many use cases from its outstanding and innovative design by Satoshi Nakamoto. Each person has personal ways to use bitcoin or his or her own. Bitcoin with its decentralized network, censorship assistant technically and world-class developers behind, can be built up with more use cases in future.

Quote
The growth of DeFi in particular has created new opportunities for developing decentralized financial applications that are open, safe, and available to anybody with an internet connection.

What what is DeFi, and how can Bitcoin use it?
Even Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency and it is actually a best decentralized one in cryptocurrency space, I don't like if you want to connect it with DeFi.

DeFi is mostly shilled by altcoins which are centralized by their founder teams and how their token distributed among top holders. They are not competitive with Bitcoin about level of decentralization.

And if you want to use Wrapped Bitcoin tokens to have Bitcoin in DeFi, it is bad. Those wrapped tokens are not real bitcoin and they are only products created by altcoin projects. It is possible if you see Bitcoin is traded at $100,000 but a wrapped bitcoin token loses its value (de-peg) and falls to $100 or lower.
705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading strategy for everyone! on: April 23, 2023, 04:11:23 AM
As long as you are not in hurry, you will not lose with this strategy.
Are you sure?

Quote
And, if a sudden market collapse comes in the way then holding will be favorable.
So why do we have to change from trading to holding?

Let me say my opinion, it is not good. If you are trading, let's have some important things in your trading plan.
- Assign a separate capital of yours to trading.
- Don't mix your capital for trading and investment into one.
- Trading and investment require different strategy like risk management.
- If  you mix trading and investment, then you will fail to know what you are doing and fail to get profit for both trading and investment.

Quote
There is no need to set any stop loss for this strategy.
Bad advice ever. You will learn your hard (loss) lesson but you can change yourself and I hope you won't have loss.

Quote
This strategy also includes 30 minute candles, the first two trades will be based on 3 minute candles, other two trades will be based on 30 minute candles. I have explained that in my strategy, you should go through it once again.
Again, bad thinking.

You must have different order for different candles. Don't mix them into one as with each candle, you must have different calculations, plans for enter, exit the market to control risk.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think China is playing a double game? on: April 23, 2023, 04:05:37 AM
What country around the world does not play a double game? China is well aware of the capabilities of bitcoin and they do not like it one bit, however they are trying to seize an opportunity, they are trying to use every single tool they have at their disposal to try to weaken the US, will this work? I have my doubts but the Chinese government will try it anyway, as they have nothing to lose if it does not work and everything to win if this new posture allows them to get even the smallest advantage over the US.
If you are a big nation, you have big power to play double standard.

I agree that it occurs with all big nations, USA, UK., China, Russia and more. However the importance is what end result for small nations which are engaged with games set up by big nations. I believe that the world is better because of capitalism and nations follow that philosophy with which their citizens have freedom of speech, politics, and more basic human rights.

With communism and communist countries, they are governed by dictators and dictatorship which eliminate basic human rights. With such centralized power, you can not expect to see their double standards can bring anything good to other nations.

We can stop talking about politics and returning to Bitcoin and its mining. Bitcoin and its mining can not be stopped by a single nation and all nations are aware of this fact as well as decentralized power of Bitcoin. They have to adapt to change from trying to stop, kill Bitcoin to accept it and build more regulations about it.
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 22, 2023, 02:59:31 PM
In the last three matches, Arsenal has always finished the match with a draw, even against weak clubs. Manchester City is in the best position, always stable in the game, and can always end the game with a win. I don't know what happened with Mikel, I think the draw was only against West Ham and Liverpool, it happened again today against Southampton. I can't stop thinking, why can't the leaders win a game against a weak club who is in the relegation zone? Now I am even more convinced that the real leader is Manchester City.
They had three draws in different ways but in general, those draws come from their either bad defense or carelessness of their midfielders or both. Their attacking system still operates smoothly and effectively but it fails to cover weaknesses in defense.

It seems Arsenal hit their limits and they will have to bet all to win in a match with Manchester City. It is their only chance to get advantage back from Manchester City. The season comes to very last match days with opposite performances of two direct competitors. Manchester City is on fire while Arsenal is on their downhill journey.
708  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC > 1M ? on: April 22, 2023, 02:46:16 PM
Your question is unanswerable without when.

When is important because it will be related to growth of network hash rate, block difficulty, input cost to mine each Bitcoin, Bitcoin adoption then its usability.

In addition, the inflation of fiat currencies and decrease iof fiat currency purchasing power will contribute to Bitcoin price as well.

I think it is possible but maybe next 30 years at least.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 21, 2023, 12:54:23 PM
Real Madrid will win this year again, they have the squad, Manchestercity don't have much champions league experience. it will be  tough game but Real madrid will qualify at the end. whosever qualify will lift the tiitle.
Do you think it is too soon to award the title to Real Madrid. They will have to meet a very strong team, Manchester City and I see Real Madrid are more experienced than Manchester City but it is not fair to say they are stronger than Manchester City.

This semi final pair is hard to predict the winner. In the past season, it is Real Madrid but will they repeat it this season?

Quote
Ac milan and Inter milan has shown that italian football is improving rapidly.
They will make a first Derby Milan in Champions League after 18 years that are so long.

One more interesting thing that I did not see people discussed is Ibrahimovic will not be recorded as winning Champions League even if AC Milan win it. Life is like a joke for Ibrahimovic and he might never have chance to lift the Champions League trophy. From Inter Milan to Barcelona and maybe this time AC Milan, his destiny is not sweetie with Champions League.
710  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price gets to $60k this year? on: April 21, 2023, 12:42:52 PM
But the question is; is it possible for bitcoin to reach $60k by this year? No serious bulls happening currently and if it continues in this little increase probably it will not get anywhere close to $60k. Share your views.
If we don't have a new history, it won't happen.

In past cycles and past bear markets, Bitcoin has never recovered nearly to its all time high and I believe it won't make difference in this bear market. You will have to wait till the next halving and around it to see Bitcoin reclaims its 2021 all time high. If you want to see its new all time high, you might have to wait till late of 2024 or first two quarters of 2025.

I don't want to cool down your optimistic view but it's fact which is based on history.
711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The link between the game of pool(playing pool game) and Bitcoin. on: April 21, 2023, 09:31:01 AM
I have thought of ways I could link this game to Bitcoin
People tried to link Bitcoin to S&P500, Nasdaq, Gold and more but it is not true at all. Bitcoin is unique and your linking can be not correct.

Quote
Here are some steps one could take to set up a cryptocurrency payment system for your pool game, incase one has an interest in such kind of business endeavour:

1. A cryptocurrency payment processor system that fits this kind of need may include selecting between several companies that offer this kind of cryptocurrency payment processing service. Some are CoinPayments, BitPay, and Coinbase Commerce.
Using payment processor services is good but it costs expensive fee.

Quote
2. A payment button or QR code would also need to be added to the game interface so that the system of payment can be functional.
It is more matched if you want to run a store, shop, business which need to show QR code for users to send their coins to you as their purchasing fee. For a pool game, I am unsure it is necessary.

Quote
3.  A cryptocurrency wallet to receive payments from players would also need to be setup. This can be a software or hardware wallet, depending on your preferences.
I am not sure if you already use Payment processor service and you will have to use their given wallet for your account or have to connect supported wallet to their processor service.

Quote
using a stablecoin like Bitcoin, or better still converting cryptocurrency payments to fiat currency immediately upon payment might have to suffice.
Bitcoin is not a stable coin.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 20, 2023, 08:01:06 PM
I also wonder why Manchester United are still keeping Maguire who is actually only a problem in their defense. But maybe there are internal problems that make it difficult for them to part with Maguire. I agree he doesn't deserve to be captain either.
No big clubs want to buy Maguire and afford to pay him high salary like Manchester United are paying him. It is hard to find another club for Maguire.

Quote
Apart from Maguire's performance, I think Manchester United's overall performance was the most interesting of the day. They are missing so many players from their main line-up, it has affected their performance at Sevilla. Even Sevilla managed to score before VAR canceled it for offside. Sevilla's form is very good, their dominance in the second leg was very unexpected.
It started since the first half and Uinted should complete it better. In the second leg, Sevilla simply become a giant at their home stadium and in their favorite league. United still have 45 more minutes to do something but it won't be easy for them. They don't have many good choices for substitutions now.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does It takes time for market to be bull on: April 20, 2023, 02:07:00 PM
Does this means bitcoin can not maintain bull sign for about 7 months or 1 year straight up without having to change and show bear signs?
It is because of Psychology of market cycles need a lot of time to complete. People only feel boring and exit, give up if they have to wait too long and gain nothing. You can see market crash but first time, people panic sell and buy back not a long time later. However if such things repeat many times, they will feel boring if the market won't grow up, then they will exit and stop their game.

It is when the market starts to be bullish.

714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Intel did it? on: April 20, 2023, 11:18:51 AM
Why Intel discontinued its Bitcoin mining chip series?

Does this affect the price of Bitcoin?
Intel is only a new comer in Bitcoin Mining ASIC producers and they are not competitive enough to early comers with more experience than Intel. Those competitors already have bigger customer base and Intel will have to start from the bottom with high challenging task to attract customers from those competitors.

That task won't be easily to achieve well so Intel just did a brave and smart decision by stopping their development in early phase. It would be done after they did made cost-benefit analysis.
715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading strategy for everyone! on: April 20, 2023, 11:11:47 AM
do you think it is reasonable to enter a long term trade based on 3 minute candles? The pattern on which you trade is a maximum of 10 hours long. That's less than 1 daily candle.
I will not get into a "hodl" transaction based on 1 unfinished daily candle.
3-minute candle is for very short trades and it is risky. I don't know OP has ever witnessed fall or crash of Bitcoin within a few seconds, one or two minutes. Even if you use longer candles like 4-hour, 1-day but you are not good to control your position, use stop loss order or stop-limit order, you can have big loss.

With 3-minute candle, you will have very narrow view that is not good to prevent being killed by market squeeze.
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: April 19, 2023, 02:09:00 PM
If your friend does not know what to invest in, it is better not to invest, investing 40% of the savings account is not considered a small investment, and therefore if your friend does not know what he is trying to do, he will end up selling in the first panic, and then he will not think about investing again.
It is a big risk for that man and for the OP too.

The market is very volatile and that man might be panic anytime and exit with loss. Moreover, when people start in cryptocurrency market, they will probably make mistake with wallet backup, account information backup including 2 factor authentication backup and often store their cryptocurrency on exchanges. What if he lose 40% of his savings on a scam exchange?

Will he knock the OP door to blame something? I don't know but I don't want to take that risk on my shoulders.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advise to a friend on: April 19, 2023, 01:55:51 PM
I have a friend that works hard. He does two jobs and he makes a lot of money. Most of his money is in a savings bank account where he saves them. He doesn't have any use for it right now so the money is just sitting pretty in that account.
Banks are risky but others are risky too including Bitcoin. Especially if you don't know how to store your bitcoins safely and where to store it with full control on your bitcoins, no dependence on other parties.

Quote
Lately, I've been having the urge to advise him to buy Bitcoin with like 40% of his savings and HODL.
You are doing one of worst things by advising another person invest into something.

Quote
Holding won't be an issue for him because he has the patience of an old man.
Patience is a personal trait and usually it is not related directly to age.

Quote
The problem is, someone has convinced him to buy altcoins before now, I think in late 2021 or thereabout.
So now you will put yourself into a war with someone else, just to convince that man to do something. Giving financial advice is risky and are you ready to be responsible with your advice?

Even Bitcoin has risk and not completely safe.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin price control by human agents or electronic technology? on: April 19, 2023, 10:30:13 AM
I ask myself outside the fact that when people made withdrawal it affects the price going down and when people invest high capitals it increases the price automatically
What do people want to do with deposit to exchanges and withdrawal from exchanges?

Not all of them make deposits to sell their bitcoins. They can do it to consider exchange wallet as their wallet to store their bitcoins. That is a bad idea.
Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts

They can make withdrawal from exchanges to store their bitcoins more safely in their non custodial wallets. It does not help to increase demand or reduce selling pressure on exchanges. Just your theory.

Quote
is there some kind regulators like human agents or electronic technology who always do the regulatory price actions especially when trading bitcoin?
A best thing they can do is using regulations, regulatory news, proposals to make panic on the market to manipulate it. This market is manipulated by news, fuds which have biggest effects if related to regulations.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 19, 2023, 02:33:58 AM
In the first leg of the quarter-finals we saw surprising results, including AS Roma who lost 1 - 0 when playing at De Kuip, Manchester United who could only draw even though it was their home game.

In the second leg, of course, it will be decisive for teams that are still not safe, such as AS Roma and Manchester United. What are your predictions for the matches AS Roma vs Feyenoord and Sevilla vs Manchester United?
Manchester United will have risk at Sevilla home stadium while AS Roma will play at their home stadium Olimpico. Even with a home stadium behind, Roma will face with a very strong team with good form recently. In Netherlands, Roma did not play too bad and it would be fair if that match ends as a draw. Anyway Roma already lost it but they will have chance to at least equalize it at home before thinking more.

Manchester United will not have an easy match in Seville even they have better standing in domestic league than Sevilla which are still struggling to fight and exit relegation zone in La Liga.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin hunter became the hunted on: April 18, 2023, 04:06:19 PM
Who will reject money and it's hard to reject if the offer is great enough.

Gensler failed to reject and he loves power too so after he became FED chairman, he attacked Bitcoin and cryptocurrency market to get a power he wanted.

Before Gensler, we already knew some billionaires revealed about their lies years ago but they actually invested in cryptocurrency a long time ago. They only admitted it recent months but years ago, when they started, they also attacked Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, called them as scam.
