701  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Petition to investigate Freewallet org scam on: August 09, 2023, 02:28:44 PM
I am not quite sure about this, but if the title itself may suggested, shouldn't it belong to Investigation sub-board? It houses... well, investigations and personal data
No, it belongs to the accusation board for just expecting everyone to sign the petition. The OP has also sent a report to the local authorities, an investigative thread may be required if further action is taken against the report.
702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a life by Day Trading on: August 09, 2023, 02:10:32 PM
1. Setup your budget - you need atleast $200
It's worth it from your personal perspective somehow detailing the trade, but for someone from a certain economic base it's actually too expensive. All exchanges with futures trading almost entirely allow the minimum amount to open a position to be much lower (average $10).
I think you just need to mention the minimum cap requirement for the average beginner, or change the word "you need" to "I was", because after all that number is not a fixed suggestion.
703  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buy Bitcoin in large quantities on: August 09, 2023, 01:47:29 PM
You mean face to face? I think you need to mention your base which hopefully you'll get some OTC services around your city.
Or if your clients are also fine with P2P exchanges, check out some of the services here https://kycnot.me. I rather suggest you go with Bisq.

705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: exchanges with lowest fees and lowest spread on: August 08, 2023, 08:55:40 AM
You can check trading fee comparison here https://coinmarketfees.com/exchanges
and the best fees is Mexc (Spot maker:0%   Spot taker:0%   Futures maker:0%   Futures taker:0.01%).
I don't know if it's a reasonable offer or valid for the average user and all pairs.

I have no idea with the price spread, I think you can find out by checking the volume of their trading pairs on aggregator sites.
706  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: August 08, 2023, 08:27:55 AM
I'd go into business with most of that capital and the rest would be crypto. And I hope it becomes real because of the fact that I have several business plans since last year.
I see the growth of service businesses in my neighborhood which seems to be trending flat and declining as the younger generation is more attracted to online sales (mostly fast food). I'm thinking about some services that seem to have long-term prospects if I look at the needs of most of the professions in my community.
707  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: unauthorized transactions on: August 08, 2023, 08:02:36 AM
which is why I have never shared my private keys publicly and that I have not stored the seed phrase to access my wallet digitally either
It also doesn't remove the risk to the people around, you should also have a private offline space and keep the recovery key in a static secret place.
But this is the most ridiculous hack because it doesn't clear all balances. I think hackers know your condition personally, and my suspicions point to the people around you who only need your electrum password to steal it.
708  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is cryptos-miner.co a scam? on: August 08, 2023, 07:04:52 AM
and they said it is block mining rewards.
~
~
They claimed the money is invested in different projects.
This, their statements are clearly inconsistent.

I don’t know much about bitcoin mining machine.
Your bad, you should know about mining before trusting any offer if it makes sense.

Be careful next time. Never be attracted to offers via private messages. "If it's too good to be true, it must be a scam".
I see from your previous experience that you also fall for another kind of scam.

710  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to get bitcoin by RMB or HKD cash? on: August 07, 2023, 09:26:22 AM

How much money do you want to exchange? Think about buying limits if you use bitcoin ATMs as well as the fees. I've never used it, but the info I got is that they limit transactions to $8k on average in the US[1]. Another reference from an ATM company in Hong Kong[2].
Maybe you have to go to several ATMs if it's a large number of purchases.

711  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tokens or coins, which one is better or gives more profits? on: August 07, 2023, 09:09:41 AM
My question now is which of this cryptocurrency is more profitable to trade or do you not put into consideration if the project you're about to invest into or trade is a coin or a token. Why I'm asking this question is because tokens has a variety of exchange options to trade them on like DEX and CEX but coins can only be traded when they're listed on centralized exchange  and when trade are halted you can't buy or sell that coin that you're holding.
About short-term profits, it depends on your trading skills.
If you're asking about long-term profiits (at least you can trade longer), then it comes back to utility value. Tokens can't be underestimated if they bring new uses to the coin ecosystem that facilitates them. I'll give an example of the UNI token in the Ethereum ecosystem, since the Defi trend, the DEX has great benefits as a means of trading without KYC with many features. There are also tokens where smart contracts are integrated on platforms such as NFTs on gaming platforms.
Coins actually have limited benefits and mostly are protocol enhancements over existing coins, such as scalability, speed, and consensus methods.
712  Economy / Exchanges / Re: *warning* Huobi insolvency rumours on: August 07, 2023, 08:39:33 AM
JS had dismissed the rumors about the arrest a few hours ago[1], but then the Huobi team explained further that in fact this exchange was indeed going wrong[2].
However they were, I recall a storyline how SBF was arrested hours after he said nothing would happen which would end in the company closing[3].

Overall, i think we should not panic and do not recommend others to withdraw there funds
Withdrawing from a centralized service is always recommended, especially knowing this news.

713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy Turns Profitable with Bitcoin and Plans for More Growth on: August 07, 2023, 07:42:00 AM
Sorry, a bit childish question. I don't understand in this case, isn't MSTR stock a reflection of the valuation value of the company? When they sell large shares even almost change the company's voting rights just to increase the investment value in instruments that are not their "identity", what I imagine is the buyer of the last shares will make the bid price very high if Saylor wants a large number of shares sold back into his hands after realizing investment returns. That's the same as the company does not get any profit. Am I right?
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Idea to receive 10x-1000x coins the coin project on: August 07, 2023, 06:38:50 AM
Weekly/Monthly? What if there are no prospective projects in that term?
Or don't say that you mean you have to buy randomly regardless of the conditions because you have to take profits from the funds collected.
There are thousands of shittokens being depolyed daily with an expectation of 100-1000x returns with no apparent utility. https://thebittimes.com/list-coins-BSC.html
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be rich sheeple or free people, what's your choice? on: August 06, 2023, 12:41:52 AM
No need to wait for a magic lamp to grant one of them, you're the one who decides because now bitcoin can work in all of these ways.
By default, bitcoin is most decentralized. There's no stopping it unless a major accident blows out all electronic devices. On the other hand you can set yourself up to be a regulated rich sheeple by not using bitcoins onchain at all.
716  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather start/grow a business from scratch or buy an existing business? on: August 06, 2023, 12:30:57 AM
They have their own advantages. You start your own business, you'll know the journey and challenges thoroughly. You also know personally who is involved in the business, employees, partners, etc.
If you buy an existing business that's great too. Suppose you see other people's businesses going flat while you have a creative idea that you think will add potential for increased sales. But in this case, I personally prefer to work with business owners.
717  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: T-shirt Startup on: August 06, 2023, 12:06:11 AM
Now I'm thinking that I'm gonna make these kinds of merchandise and sell these platforms. But don't know about the market potential. Is the people of crypto ecosystem are really interest to buy crypto merchandise stuff?
You don't need to prepare stock of goods in advance as a business start if you don't know the potential. I think you can use the pre order method by only preparing previews of the t-shirt or at least you have mastered graphic design to accept custom design orders.
And obviously you have to have a t-shirt manufacturer standing by to meet demand on time.
718  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to get bitcoin by RMB or HKD cash? on: August 05, 2023, 11:39:26 PM
What if you go to HK? Just found One Satoshi OTC service. https://www.onesatoshi.world.
If I check the process, they accept HKD cash and they have several branch offices according to their "Stores" page.

Actually I also found their offers around Macau through this article,
Can I still buy crypto if I’m in Macau? How Would I Do It?
To buy or sell cryptocurrency, you will now have to go through crypto OTC (over the counter) in Macau (One Satoshi Technology, situated at Ginza Plaza UG 1). This is not illegal.
but I'm not sure because the store address isn't mentioned on the official site and I think the offer has expired.
Note: I've never tried this service, so do some deep research and DWYOR.
719  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Private crypto hedge fund here on: August 05, 2023, 12:47:11 PM

Even if you say you have good portfolio growth, people won't simply believe you. Here you say your preference which seems like you have a  poor management and results history (I think you're being honest but a funny offer). Think logically, how are you gonna help others while you haven't managed to improve your finances?
Well, good luck.
720  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Technical question about the transfer on: August 05, 2023, 12:08:49 PM
5 mins later still didn't receive transfer on ledger so back to binance to check status - completed.
When the token/coin is withdrawn, binance will present a txid proof of withdrawal which can be verified on the blockchain. did you get it on your withdrawal history?

Quote
Hmmm Let's Try with a bit of XRP - wait where is my XRP? All gone along with all other coins.
You found your XRP missing in your binance account, right? Are you sure you have visited the real Binance site?

Quote
1st one - is that possible that somehow when I selected transfer MAX BTT on binance it converted all my assets to BTT and sent it? Because this happened.
Nope, Binance only allows converting the entire portfolio to their BNB coin.

Quote
Another question is. In transaction history the address is different than the one I copied and pasted from the ledger wallet address (just asking if the address which is shown in history on binance is always the same as ledger wallet because 100% I copied and paste correct one but it shows different, could that be related with the network used for transfer?) just trying to figure out if I just made a mistake or got robbed. Pretty sure got scammed somehow but then the question is - all assets were converted and transfered but 500USDT remained untouched and still on my account. If that would be someone who robbed the account would probably take USDT also 🤔 anyone has any ideas? All answers will be appreciated.
Is there another withdrawal after all trial withdrawals above that you didn't make?
Possible what happened to you: you visited a fake Binance, or your computer is infected with a clipboard virus.
