Hahaha, I see -ck has posted in the self mod thread Aside from being a company no one has heard of before I do not get any red flags yet
Except that their efficiency claims are so much better than the current leading edge of technology as to be highly improbable. Will they delete a moderator's post, one merited by the other mod? Whatever happens with this particular scam, I would hope it will be a watershed for depriving newbies of self moderation in the future. Will be amusing. They'll get their arses ripped if they delete my post ^_^.

|
|
By the way, that wasn't moderation, that was cloudflare getting absurdly twitchy, it even wouldn't let us moderators post so... yeah unless Asgard themselves hacked btctalk just for the sake of that thread, then no.

Pool down for me. Am I alone? Fail over kicked in so network appears to be ok on my end
Seems to be okay for me from here...all my active miners have submitted successfully in the last 5s. Thank you. Investigating. Does appear to be some oddities with my firewall It was Comcast. Fiber cut at the exact moment I was at my place doing some monthly maintenance. Pool was up and running all that time without any connectivity issues as far as I can see.

If we hit a block in the next day we're still fairly on schedule?
Dunno what "schedule" is with respect to mining, but we're behind in our luck, if that's what you're asking. Maybe try and convince CG to plant more tomatoes.

Well the lamb didn't work the other night but we have beef burgers for dinner tonight.

Is it 249 or 250 blocks solved now?
You're right, thanks for pointing it out.

CK, what do you need to start a 'Small Cap' pool? 100TH or less as a user? This would do Two things. 1) Keep the Bitcoin cause alive for decentralization. 2) Keep the little guy feeling like he is not being whipsawed by drop in whalers. Just a thought.
This pool IS the small cap pool. What do you want, to make the pool even smaller? The big miners here do NOT adversely affect you; I dunno why people get that impression. They only help.

Very small outfit here, newbie Mining with an Antminer V9 running at 3T/hs because I'm on 110v (891w) I run this between 7pm and 7am because the electricity rate is less than half (6.5 cents) Between 7am and 7pm I run my Gekkoscience gear at 88G/hs The purpose being to maintain but not add to the value of previous work done I have noticed herp starts running down. Is there a minimum hash rate in order to maintain my standing until the Antminer is turned back on at 7pm? Thanks in advance Your herp proportion of the pool is your hashrate proportion of the pool... if the pool's hashrate goes up, your herp will go down, but the pool will find more blocks so you'll get a smaller reward more frequently. Just remember you get paid for the shares you contribute, nothing more, nothing less. People overthink this.

That's because it's a service discussion, so I'm moving you there as well.

Hi.
First, sorry for my low level of English.
Please, can you answer this question?
I have a small miner connected to the Pool for almost a year. Before, every time the Pool solved a block, in the statistics of my miner, in the value "postponed" 1 was added until the payment was made and then it returned to 0. But since a few blocks ago, in the "postponed" value always shows the value 0. Has anything changed in the way of making the payments? Can you help me?
Thank you very much.
You haven't reached the threshold for minimum payout by the time the block passes now. It will continue to accumulate every next block until you do, and then you'll start getting into the postponed queue.

Well I was holding off but need to call in the meat and beer guys. (Meat defined as beef and beer defined as beer (not wine))
Well we're having lamb roast and my favourite local brew, Little Creatures Pale Ale today so I'm providing both.

Pool latency question Pool latency for me is around 60ms which accounts for higher rejected shares I'm north of the border also Any easy solution to this?
No. 60ms is tiny, I wouldn't worry about it. Different hardware changes the reject rate 10x more than that latency.

Since I don't eat lamb (you can't buy it within 100 miles from here), I say tomatoes get the credit. I tell you we'll make a tomato farmer out of you yet.

OK, so the secret to high-yield blocks is that I need to be out in the garden planting tomatoes. If this holds true, this year's crop might get replanted a couple dozen times. I can see a bright future ahead for you as a tomato farmer.

We are pumping the PH. 238PH. Is this a new record?
Yep it sure is. Still mostly Halong, but there are a couple of newer sizeable hitters.
