701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk PSL T20 Pool and discussion. on: June 30, 2020, 02:54:20 PM
By any chance if the tournament is cancelled then I think we will consider the current score of the pool and pick the winners. Let me know your thoughts guy.

Cheers,
That seems good or we can share the pool rewards with your covid19 project in case the tournament is cancelled. I would be happy to do that. I see almost no chance of having the tournament start again since we are far away from getting the vaccine. It's my personal thought. Let's see what other users say.
I have forgotten which position I'm. Wasn't it second?
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Have DOGE, Want tBTC (Bitcoin testnet) on: June 30, 2020, 02:45:59 PM
tBTC isn't for trade. I think it's not good. You can get it free from faucet however, 500 tbtc seems to be too big to get from faucet. If you are in need, try mining and get some rewards. tbtc in real terms should be valueless.
703  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: register to this website? on: June 30, 2020, 02:36:07 PM
I don't know which bitcoin vault you are talking about, I have never heard about them. But sibce you said, there's a high return, I doubt that's a legit sitem If anyone offers something which is too good to be true, that will most likely be a scam.
704  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I sign a message from bech32 address on iPhone on: June 30, 2020, 02:30:57 PM
Blockchain.com doesn't bech32 addresses if I'm correct and to my known blockchain.com is the only option to sign message from a phone. Mycellium may have the option too. You can check with Mycellium.

Is Bengali available and am I allowed to translate the Bengali provided that there are some restrictions put on the candidates? If so, please PM me with the details. I'm interested to translate in Bengali.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emotion management is one of the key to successful trading. on: June 29, 2020, 04:45:05 PM
A day trader or short term trader must control their emotions and greed of course while they trade. Marlet may move on different sides and traders must act on that. Making a mistake would cost a lot. That's why most of the times I prefer long term holding method.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BitKKTex - Anyone heard of this new exchange? on: June 29, 2020, 03:43:12 PM
I have never heard about this exchange. Seems like it's a scam one. However, this is not the right board. You shouls move it to exchange subboard or to service discussion board. Check the lower left if this thread to move.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] 🧅 Popular Privacy Coin with Real Use Case 🧅 Check DeepOnion Updates on: June 29, 2020, 02:30:51 PM
The excitement is growing!! I got a phone that will let me install DeepOnion wallet. I did a test send and am now one step closer to talking a pizza shop owner into accepting ONION for payment  Grin
That sounds great. I think you mentioned this earlier in this thread. Have the pizza shop owner talked about liquidation process of the ONION? I think you should make him aware about everything in details because there might be loss too. Anyway, I would be happy to take you a pizza once they accept ONION. Waiting for that.

I'm summarizing the above linked post. The name of the page is "Bangladesh Rakhain Students Association". A women is looking for donation to save her life.

A women whom I personally know has been affected with cancer. She had been having a problem with her teeth for couple of months. After having a test in February 2020, she knew that she was affected by Oral Cancer. She is having medical treatment on "United Hospital" in Dhaka. Within this time, she had spent 12 lac BDT (~$14300), almost 8 lac (~$8500) is borrowed from other people. She has completed 26 chemotherapy out of 30. She needs another test to ensure whether it has germs in the affected area and 4 more chemotherapy. Now, she left nothing to continue this treatment. She needs more 3 lac (~$3600) to continue the treatment. Her family is struggling to manage the needed amount.

That's why I thought to share it here to get some help for her. I have collected all the proofs and I can share the proofs with you through PM.
Let me know if the women deserved to be helped.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unique use case. on: June 28, 2020, 01:37:47 PM
These days almost all the projects are scam or have a sense of making money only rather than developing an interesting project. Very few projects come with usecase and they most fail eventually. For example mb8coin promised to have an environment where people can purchase anything on their platform with mb8coin but later, they said people can pay half through mb8coin. Who would be interested to pay half with paypal (example) and half with crypto? No one. So, they damaged the project and their promised roadmap. I don't know the currenr situation though. It has been a while I have seen a good project out there.
711  Other / Meta / Re: The curious case of the forum member distrusting Satoshi on: June 28, 2020, 09:04:15 AM
Suchmoon was right. I didn't know this user. Bringing him here was a waste of time.
He didn't troll you, did he? He was fine with the explanation which you were looking for. Also, I really don't see a problem with putting someone in distrust list. Someone in my distrust list doesn't mean I didn't trust them, rather it mean I don't trust their feedback sending behavior. Although satoshi have sent no feedback.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] 🧅 Popular Privacy Coin with Real Use Case 🧅 Check DeepOnion Updates on: June 28, 2020, 08:55:11 AM
I really start to think that this project is becoming just a joke. Level of amateurism is getting higher and higher. Instead of spending ONION from the Bounty fund e.g. for finding vulnerabilities in DeepSend as someone was suggesting, there are being wasted 1000 of ONION per language for translations to almost all languages of the world. As if a few main languages were not sufficient.
I suggested that couple of months back and the reward they offered was too low. I think it was 1000 ONION. Guess what. I was even ready to start a fund rasing campaign of BTC to test that but the interest from the team was too low to continue.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian government Banning Cryptocurrencies? on: June 28, 2020, 08:41:47 AM
A ban on crypto in India may have an affect to the crypto space but that will not be high. Remember that crypto was not much legal in India couple of months ago. Still now, as far as I know Banks don't cooperate any crypto trading. So, what's the changes or affect are you expecting?
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Building up your reputations as a new bounty manager on: June 27, 2020, 03:27:39 PM
But now, I see many new bounty managers popping up and seem like that they are an old user and create a new account to avoid the ban if the project that he promoted end up in scam.
There is no reason to bounty manager getting banned because of their project turns into scam one. Forum don't moderate any scam. May be manager will get negative tag. I agree that some people create new account to launch a not so good project but most of the managers use only one account because the more campaign they launch, the more weight get added in their portfolio which is good for them to get some more campaign management job.
715  Other / Meta / Re: Bengali Thread Merit Statistics on: June 27, 2020, 03:20:41 PM
For example 163,0% can be interpreted as 163.0%, 11771,16% can be interpreted as 11771.16%. I hope you understand what I am trying to see

When you compare two or more components of a single thing, the percentage can never be more than 100%. If you have closer look, you can see that I have written the name of data lebel only for Bengali. For example- Bengali, 163, 0%. Would you say that Bengali163.0%? I'm kidding. In my local, we denote the fraction as dot. Like- 1.63%.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Legitimate Gold-backed tokens? on: June 27, 2020, 03:12:29 PM
This topic have been discussed many times before, there are no real tokens that are backed by real gold, it's all about faking a useless tokens use case, beware were you put your money, all those gold backed tokens can't even provide proof
You might be partially true. There were raid in such a project and found they hold no gold at all while they used to say token is backed by gold. However, I think GOLD stablecoin is a good one although I don't have any proof at all. The project seems to be good and serious with their business.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] 🧅 Popular Privacy Coin with Real Use Case 🧅 Check DeepOnion Updates on: June 27, 2020, 03:09:20 PM
Unfortunately, combination of anonymous Devs and huge pre-mined Dev fund can be unacceptable for many big exchanges and investors.
And this is another reason for which potential investors are not giving a shit to this project. No matter how much trusted DEV team is. As long as they are holding the fund, I doubt any potential users would invest because anytime DEV can dump and if it happens, market will be destroyed.

Quote
Even though TA for BTC can sometimes be helpful, in case of DeepOnion, TA is rather for fun. The market is way too small.
It's really pretty understandable. TA works only after couple of years of existence along with passing times with normal and different economy. While DeepOnion had no real demand other than the time of airdrop. So, TA for DeepOnion will be a fool idea.
718  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to recognize a scam on: June 27, 2020, 03:03:07 PM
If you are referring to deal in this forum or as you said offers, campaign etc, look at the feedback page of the user and read all the feedback. Of course make sure the feedbacks are originated from trades if positive. If you want to deal big amount, use trusted escrow service because their are a lot of scammers farming feedbacks to scam other.
719  Other / Meta / Re: Bengali Thread Merit Statistics on: June 26, 2020, 04:39:42 PM
IMO, you mess graphs up with the combinations of frequency and percent.
This is very much common in my local to present such data and data lebel. I don't know why you think it's a mess. It's pretty much understandable IMO.

These are already available here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5257102.msg54658976#msg54658976
If you need more stats, you can contact with LoyceV or DdmrDdmr. Both of them are very helpful.
720  Other / Meta / Re: Bengali Thread Merit Statistics on: June 26, 2020, 01:46:37 PM

Interesting topic but there are some mistakes in the graphs. They all show percent (%). From what you present, they are number for frequency and count (total distributed merits, total senders, total receivers, total merit tx) and are not percentages.
Both are presented there. The left side amount is total frequency and the right side is the percentage. I have presented both.

Why don't you calculate percentage the normal way, where it can't be more than 100%
You have missed the data presentation. Like I said above, both data have been presented. Percentage can't be above 100 and it is not.
