i was wondering about that as well as at first they said Haaland only missed the second game at the FIFA Club World Cup because he was missing in the first game due to an injury and then couldn't be nominated for the second game because of the regulations. But now it seems that he has a more severe injury than was initially communicated in public. Otherwise he would have long been back I think. Hopefully he won't miss any of the important games that are about to take place especially during February. The players need to go through various observations to make sure they will be back in their best condition. It is very difficult when other strong teams have experienced coaches while Al-Ettifaq only has Steven Gerrard who has a big name as a former football player to boost their popularity. The results are as we can see now and Al-Ettifaq is sitting in 8th position in the standings and is still likely to drop again if they continue to suffer bad results in the next few matches. Al-Ettifaq also has not won again in the last 8 matches and all of them only ended in draws and defeats.

La Liga has been so unpredictable lately that's it's just becoming crazy at this point. Barcelona were very lucky to get 3 points against las Palmas. However, compared to the previous matches, Barcelona players have performed very well in this match. However Las Palmas players were confident in the home match. They were able to attack a lot in this match. Las Palmas got a 1-0 lead in just 12 minutes of the match. Barcelona could not score any goal in the first half. However, Torres scored the first goal for Barcelona at the beginning of the second half. Gundogan's performance was good throughout the match. After 90 minutes, Gundogan did not score from the penalty opportunity. And Barcelona won the match 2-1.
Xavi Hernandez will not be sacked afterall, Barcelona was lucky enough not to end the game in a draw tie, alot of mistakes was done on Barcelona side, but any how they manage to win the match. Dortmund can't win a single game for like four weeks in the Bundesliga. This is really a terrible form for them.  This bad form caused them to fall behind the fourth team in the standings quite much as well. Dortmund need to do something about this immediately. Terzic will surely be expected to finish the season in top four otherwise he could lose his job. There are some speculations such as Nuri Sahin could take his place by next season. He has become assistant coach now as far as I know. It wouldn't be too difficult for him to take Terzic's place in that case. Very poor performance by dortmund. Is it time to sack terzic? I know Napoli is not die yet but it will be difficult for them to lift this trophy again in this season, which you know that there are many strong teams that has double cross them to use huge amount of points to gap them in the table. As it stand in this season, I don't think the coach can do something that will make the team to showcase what they have never showcase before because, some of their potential strikers will be leaving the team soon because their contract will expire soon and they don't want to continue with the team again.
Now Napoli is in the top eight of the standings which is quite far from being in the top flight, so Napoli may only be able to try to be in the top four of the standings until the end of the season if they are still able to win more matches and hope that their other rivals can lose. Because Roma, Atalanta, Bologna and Fiorentina have made quite good progress this season, Napoli continues to experience decline in its position so far. I believe Napoli will improve next season because, by then their coach will have some new players that will make some improvement that will give their fans hope that with time their coach will get it right to help them win some trophy.

Chelsea still have a chance to win a title this season despite having a really bad form meanwhile. I mean the EFL Cup title by the way. Because they have reached the semi finals and they will probably won't have big issues against Middlesbrough as well. Guys, Girona has finally given into the pressure of Atlético Madrid. Since the start of the first half, Athletico Madrid has been probing Giron's defense and had about 5 chances in the first 5 minutes. Lukaku is no longer suitable for the EPL. Actually, we cannot say that he is very old. He is 30 years old not old actually, he is so tall and he loses his speed, so in my opinion, he is not suitable anymore. It would be best for him to stay in Italy, if such a wish even exists.

Im doubting benzema this time caused by he has the strongest power in the club since the owner was trusting him. The ittihad coach sacked caused by benzema has been requesting owner to do that. Klopp was unlucky to be competing during Pep's and Manchester City's prime. That Liverpool team could have dominated the league more in the regular seasons. Arsenal have young and talented players. Arteta can contribute to their mental development. However, the transfer of a finishing striker could help them to get results faster and I think that would be a better strategy for them. Klopp took Liverpool to the top after a few years of adventure. If Arsenal want that to happen more quickly, they need to give Arteta some meaningful gifts like Osimhen or Mbappe.
I think Arsenal need a finishing striker. Guirassy can be a good alternative to these names. He is also a quality striker. It's showing its best performance this year. Of course, I think that if the conditions arise, Mbappe or Osimhen should definitely be added to the team because Arsenal now wants to get their efforts. They have to spend money on this. Arsenal certainly needs a striker who is more aggressive in scoring goals in the second half of this season because it is clear that they lack ammunition on the front lines to score goals. In this season, they still have many opportunities to improve their performance, especially since the winter transfer window has opened so Arteta can recruit new strikers to help the team return to its best form in the second half of this season. Guirassy could be Arteta choice for their front line if Arteta thinks he is the right one for their front line. But I have a little doubt that Guirassy will be Arteta target in the January transfer window because I don't think Guirassy performance is outstanding enough even though he has been able to perform well with VFB this season. I doubt Arsenal has much problems with the striker position, although they have been doing pretty poor due to an absence of one, the style they play is rather too reserved and not as aggressive as it should be. A striker that is good with aerial ability should be top on the list because the Arsenal team lacks the capacity to efficiently link a corner or play an aerial style attacking football to score good goals. Look at the result from the previous match. The strikers have been getting a lot of complaints from the various parties about their indiscipline performance. It shall be taken as criticism to build the striker to be even better. Arsenal seems need to buy another striker. Gabriel and nketiah are so wasteful and it's time for arsenal to sell a lot of them. Arsenal shall fix the problem as soon as possible or he will get nothing at the end of season. Im concerning about how the performance of arsenal was always decreasing a lot once it was entering at the middle - end of season. So this is the main concern that needs to be solved by arteta if arsenal was not that strong right now. Arteta needs to do something to save his club to keep in the right track for EPL competition. This is the main problem tiat is very hard to be sorted out. You can't predict when your players will be declining a lot. Arteta shall have backup for this player caused by the decline of a key player will obviously affect the performance from the club. Arteta needs to prepare some names to be recruited by the club. |
