First thing, you need to look up on the definition of 'Inflation' the dropping price of Bitcoin or other currency doesn't always mean an 'inflation', inflation is more closely related to the supply, demand and price of general goods and service. When people says Bitcoin is not affected by Inflation is because bitcoin is not controlled by any government. In a simple explanation, when the price of goods and service is surging, government will print more fiat and encourage people to take loans, this is how inflation affect fiat currency and not Bitcoin.

Regarding all of those country problem, I agree with most of the replies in here. The problems of those countries are their corrupts government, and Bitcoin couldn't fix that corruption. The best thing Bitcoin could do is make the transaction of the government more traceable, those maybe could minimize corruption but I those corrupt government official will always find a way to cheat on the system, using USD or other fiat that's still not traceable.

If I can only choose one, I would choose to build a business. I won't invest in real-estate because in my country the housing market demand has been decreasing since covid, and hasn't been recovered. Other reason is that I don't want to retire soon, I still want to do some work, doing business would be much more interesting for me. When my business started to get stable and make money, I would invest on crypto.

Actually this is what has been happening, based on this article . The majority of crypto buyer is between age 18-40 years old with the percentage of 94%, and the Gen-Z (18-24) even take 17% of the total owner. By the nature something that as disruptive and radical as crypto would be more appealing for younger generation, so it's not a surprise.

Also still based on those article the problem is that the buying power of the Gen-X and Boomer eventhough the number of the owner is small compared to younger generation their buying power is much more.

If this is turns out to be true, it will be another cryptocrisis, it will not be as big as FTX since Huobi is not even on the top 10 Exchange, but still Huobi is not a small exchange it will have significant impact on the market. But all of that if the rumor was true, until I write this reply the only news I got is this https://www.cryptopolitan.com/huobi-and-tron-executives-allegedly-arrested/ and it only based on the twitter thread by Adam Cohran. This is not the first time Huobi executive has been allegedly arrested, but the previous allegation has been denied, so I would still be skeptical.

None of the scenario seems so realistic. How would the price go 1000x if the government can take anyone Bitcoin as they pleased, people wouldn't buy bitcoin if those happened why would they use a currency where the government could take it whenever they want, this thing will make bitcoin even worse then fiat. And it also the reason I wouldn't want to take the 1st option, doesn't matter if I got 1M BTC worth of 30B USD when the government can take it from me whenever they want, I would choose the 30K/Bitcoin but all of my Bitcoin is save and I can use it however I pleased. And that's why people will want to buy bitcoin and so the price will go up.

Bener gan sudah sangat jarang yang namanya bounty hunter, saya kemarin baru aja ikut bounty hunting lagi setelah 3 tahun gak, (bounty hunting disini maksudnya campaign yang pembayarannya bukan Bitcion ya), tapi sampai sekarang malah belum juga turun pembayarannya, mau tak kejar juga gak seberapa nilainya, gak sebanding sama konflik dan usahanya kalau harus nagih.


Terakhir ikut bounty dan bayarannya bisa dicairkan sepertinya tahun 2018 lalu, itu juga projectnya saat ini udah gak aktif jadi beruntung banget waktu itu baru dapet langsung ane cairin. Habis itu terus 3 kali dapat koinnya gak ada nilainya, jadi langsung berhenti. Kalau sistem sepertinya masih sama, Campaign Sosmed, Medium, Video dsb. Cuma mungkin karena memang market kripto lagi lesu aja jadi susah buat projek baru bersaing dan berkembang. Kecuali memang yang sudah punya modal gede.

Congrats that you can already get 50 merits. Not just these days, since the day 1 merit was introduced it was designed to be hardly got, people should put an effort to get the merit.  All that being said, as long as you focus on contributing good things to the forum merit will just follow, little by little.

It's just a currency people will use it for their own liking, it is no different to a bad guy asking a ransom with a fiat currency then they can launder the money, and government wouldn't be able to trace the money. The different is that fiat money can be manipulated 'legally' by the central bank and they wouldn't got any consequences, no one can do that to Bitcoin,

If I have much money I would really prefer to buy an already growing business. Not the one that already established since it will cost too much, and there are already some fundamental of the business that I maybe I wouldn't like and I couldn't do anything about it because it will have bad effect on it. I would prefer buying a business that is growing but not too big, it should already has good marketing and good images but still trying to figure the other thing, so there I could make some change into the way that I like.

But saying all that is in the case that I have money, I wouldn't mind starting business from scratch, it's just I think it's easier to buy business that is already growing.

Can't believe that after all these years I have been in this forum, this is the first time I find out about this thread. Seems like I need to check 'Reputation' board more often. I haven't read all of the interview but I think most of the people come here to know how to make money and invest in Bitcoin but they end up really interested in the cause and technology.

I believe that Bitcoin can solve many problems in this world economic but helping a corrupt government is not. It may help the people to have more option while their currency is plunging, but this alone won't have any significant effect if the government do not make any good macro economy policies. A country economic is far too complicated to be solved by Bitcoin alone.

There are a lot of articles about this already, but I really think this one from 2017 is the most relevant. Besides that if you ask me what real problem in my life that's actually solved by Bitcoin (and Crypto) is the way I accept payment from my client. I am a freelance worker and I work with international client, I used to use PayPal, and other similar things that needs few working days to finally arrive in my local bank account, and the fee is quite a lot. With Bitcoin I can receive my payment in less than an hour with much less fee.

Totally agreed, loans is necessary for certain country especially for a country that has rapid growing economy. The countries that has issue with their loan are mostly because the government is corrupt. If the government use the money to grow the people's economic inflation wouldn't be anything to worry.

Sudah bukan rahasia lagi kalau situs-situs pemerintah memang keamanannya rendah sekali mudah untuk dibobol. Menurut asal tidak mengandung kalau hanya situs nya saja tidak terlalu bermasalah, paling mentok cuma disisipi konten atau diganti index.html nya. Akan sangat bermasalah jika yang dibobol adalah data server yang tentu berisi data-data pribadi yang sangat riskan, seperti yang sudah terjadi di situs Indihome. Walaupun sepertinya data server keamanan-nya lebih tangguh dari keamanan website pemerintah sepertinya masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi karena terbukti sudah beberapa kali data server kebobolan.

Sebenarnya langkah pertama yang bisa dilakukan pemerintah adalah menunjuk Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika yang memang berkemampuan, tapi nyatanya untuk melakukan langkah pertama ini saja gagal, Jabatan Menkominfo yang sangat penting di Era sekarang dijadikan ajang bagi-bagi kursi.

Kalau saya akan tetap memilih untuk tetap tidak dikenal tidak 'anonim' juga, kalau ditanya dapat uang dari mana pasti saya jelaskan agar orang-orang juga tertarik terhadap kripto, namun saya akan sebisa mungkin menghindari eksposure dan pemberitaan di media. Selain memang beresiko akan menjadi sasaran tindak kejahatan juga menjadi orang terkenal sepertinya tidak begitu menyenangkan.

I live in a countryside in SouthEast Asia, in here the it's kind a the opposite because subsidize houses - a 62m2 house not apartment - are oversupply, hundreds of those small houses are empty no one wants to buy them, since the area are not developed and lack of public facility. Thing is different in the city, the rent went up high. I guess people are still going to the office daily in here that's the reason why the city is still overcrowded.

If you have some spare money you can just buy Bitcoin and wait for a bull run, easiest thing to do. Or if you know how to trade, reading chart and signal, analyzing some news and fundamental you can daily trade some altcoins. If you really don't have any money to buy crypto you can search for airdrop, but it will be a lot time and energy consuming, and finding a good altcoin airdrop is like looking for a single needle when the whole world is covered in haystack. In this forum you can join some bounty campaign, but you need to rank up first.

Selling a gift card is always risky, I once sold my game voucher gift-card that I got as reward from stacking some crypto. I try to sell it because I don't need it, finally got someone who is interested in a facebook group, and I ask the group admin to be the middle-man. I am sure that I never use the code and I and the buyer are the only people knew the code. I ask the buyer to record his screen when he tried to redeem the the code, he did but the he said that the gift-card has been redeemed, then I checked and it is true that the code has been redeemed. I don't have any proof but I am pretty sure that he is the one who redeemed the code. So, I never got the money and I lost my gift-card not that much just $150 but still, I could order enough pizza for one 5 days with that money.
