The dev is good but this is where it end.
The devs' marketing approach is certainly novel. Triathletes, DJs etc... and all the while throwing shots at bitcoin (have they forgotten their own warning against aggressive competition between coins?) Majoring on the minors, minoring on the majors. With marketing as good as the development would that put the coin in the top 10? |

Either I am the smartest trader in the world this week or this is a con job but with all the news and future updates it feels unreal that 53 btc in buy support and rank 60 on CMC? With such a huge premine, I would not invest in it.
The premine is being used honestly and the development might be the best in crypto , close to ETH. I would not invest at these prices because they not on poloniex. Price is already dropping because bittrex can't maintain these prices with its traders. A good price is 3000 on bittrex but if the coin is added to poloniex where all the money is and the best project called PoW2 is released the coin would go to 15000-20000 fast. It is depressing for Gulden but good for me because I can buy in at low prices after the drop this weekend. All the coins on poloniex are having high prices for more then a month because lots of btc to support them. |

While I do agree Poloniex would give a 1000% boost to Gulden , It will be short term affair and people will be expected to buy Gulden at much higher prices. This wouldn't be fair on new people.
The advantage of Gulden having such a low price compared to other coins on Poloniex is that more people get to experience more natural growth.
That's your pro. Here's the con: NLG is trying to peg to fiat (a good strategy which I and others pointed out to devs) but unless there is a significant support at some psychological level, say 0.1 EUR or (better) 0.5 EUR, the general public won't take it seriously. There is one thing you keep forgetting. Gulden doesn't focus on crypto-users. We focus on the REAL general public. Honestly, we'll take our time and will grow slow but steady. Don't forget that a lot of European people like to save money, with POW2 the interest rate is a lot of higher than that of a bank. Soon services to help with saving money and getting interest with Gulden will pop-up, for those people that can´t install an Pi3 themselves. I should not complain about the coin not being on Poloniex or I would not be able to get back in when it dumps to 3000 later today. When I have purchased my gulden back I will send a coin request. Let's keep Gulden off Poloniex for the moment. |

Gulden has really has missed out on the Crypto Rush but will be better off when the bubble bursts.
Gulden can't achieve top 20 without Poloniex. The creators must consider this seriously. Traders on all other exchanges follow Poloniex prices. Poloniex better then innovation for higher price but innovation + Poloniex is ultimate. Gulden devs are dumb not to push for a listing with all the innovation they bringing. When Gulden added to Poloniex I will invest again. |

Gulden seems to be strong on development but very locally focused. I wonder whether they already have any viable internationalization strategies prepared?
For starters you can pay at any bitcoin merchant with Gulden using the any of the wallets . Scan the Bitcoin address and make payment. The conversion is done automatically. Gulden devs you are honestly the best , don't let the poor price or should I say unfair price demotivate your work. Your work on projects like PoW2 is what crypto needs to move forward.
What's "fair" and what's "unfair"? If you have any influence on the devs you should advise them to get over the problems with price. You're not dogmatic about poloniex. Gulden missed the ship on all the investment streaming in. They their own worst enemy. No one will notice PoW2 is being released next month. |

I sold all my Gulden today for a good Euro profit. I don't see the coin making it to previous highs without poloniex exchange, but maybe I buy in at 2000 sat after the whitepaper.

I didn't want to post this in the Gulden Announcement page to avoid bias opinions but wanted to know if Gulden is a safe bet compared to other alt coins. The reason I am asking is I noticed there ranking on coinmarketcap is way below other coins that have nothing going for them or is it that the other alt coins are way over priced?

I will keep investing in Gulden until the team has given me reasonable doubt not to trust them anymore.
Most of the negatives have said there won't be a whitepaper and prime will never be developed. The devs did say there will be a whitepaper (at one time) and prime is the next project. We will see who is telling the truth come May. I am expecting a half truth of no whitepaper but prime will be developed.
I am going to create a list of the haters, moderates and supporters and the camp they fall in and in the next 2 months we can see who is wrong and who is right. I will confess I wanted the Gulden price to drop for selfish reasons and to make more future profit. I am not cointracks but he made the difference with Altcoinfanatic and donnatello.
Gulden is the best and I bet no one thought I was serious.
