If we continue at the rate we're going, I would have no problem paying for 1000 Amp service upgrade 21 days from now.  However, I'm only getting 800 Amps.  Actually, 600 amps worth of panels at first with an 800 amp fused disconnect switch.  I'll add the other 200 amp panel a few months down the road.  I don't want to draw too much attention from an inspector with 800 amps out the door.  I'm leading them to believe I'm changing out my gas furnace to an electric furnace and I'm adding a server rack in the garage to fiddle with.

They will have no idea what's in the recreation room.  In fact, I'm disconnecting and pulling out all of the 30A circuits that are in my present panel going to my existing mining closet as well to avoid attention.  That will not occur until just before an inspector is expected to arrive.  Which means you will not see me mining on the pool for 24 to 48 hours.  Bummer...  I'll keep you updated on when that occurs. [Hopefully, no more than 2 to 3 weeks from now.]

I'm going to install a couple of 30A outlets overhead in the garage where I will place a server rack and mount a couple of PDU's on it for looks.  No equipment will be on the server rack.  Also, thanks to that 7 block run in less than 24 hours, I'm getting french doors this week to install downstairs in the entrance to the recreation room where the mining closet is located.  That should cut out a ton of noise from coming upstairs.

Happy mining everyone!

David

Wow sounds like a lot of work.  Good luck with it all!

Wow another block streak!

Yep all my miners failed over and I can't connect to the web site either.

Talked to Lee and he said $100 per miner shipped. So it's basically a hosted miner sale as noted earlier.

Thanks for following up.  Good luck with the sale.

Holy Fuck. Unreal. Pool is on fire!

I feel somebody is playing a cruel joke on us or something! 642.04% LUCK!
746  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9 PH] Kano CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: January 09, 2016, 02:13:52 AM
This is the Kano and CK 5N PPLNS badass software pool

Soooo, 5N is like less then 24 hours now. Hahahhah

5N can only be reduced by physical increased hash rate.   This is a totally different beast.
We are virtually hashing > a 30PH pool in the last 18Hrs, which maps to luck.    And there's six hours left for a few more.

will officially remember this as block friday.

LOL block friday.  I love it.

492.34% luck!  Woot!

making enough to ship my bad hash board back to china....$100!?!

If anybody rented hash to mine here the past 24 hours they sure made out!

5 blocks? on friday night? Incredible.

First 5-blocks day?

Still time for six blocks in a 24 hour period!

Wow 4 blocks within 24 hours!  What an awesome way to start the weekend.  Thanks e46btc!

You're configuring kano (or any other) pool in your S4, but it gets overwritten by what's in the screenshot?  You've been hacked.

That's horrible news. What can I do to get past this and back on track?

I would open up the S4 and take the SD card out and put it into a PC and format and flash the SD card or use a new SD card.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1204682.msg12647062#msg12647062

Also looking at the image it seems that anybody can get to your S4 with the public IP address.

Next question is how much is shipping to the US?
753  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9 PH] Kano CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: January 08, 2016, 04:01:16 PM
Block! A pretty green one!

So much more exciting finding a block here than on the larger pools!  Thanks for the excitement GLORYtrading!
754  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 17 S5 hosted with pcfli on: January 08, 2016, 02:19:03 PM
I'd be interested as well if shipping was reasonable and they would actually ship it and not get all insulted about not wanting to keep the contract with them.
755  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS - 25 Antminer S5's hosted on: January 08, 2016, 02:14:56 PM
So at the end of the contract do these come with the power supplies or no and if so which ones?
756  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9 PH] Kano CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: January 07, 2016, 03:21:42 PM
Just noticed my hashrate fell off the chart. Using direct ip for SG node also no good. Same problem as before and my miner also didn't failover. Back to using the main pool node.

That happens to my S5's on the main pool but they would completely drop off the network.  I wouldn't be able to ping it or nothing.  I would have to power them off and back on.
757  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Large review of Finksy/J4bbrwock server psus compared to ATX psu- photos up on: January 07, 2016, 02:08:30 AM

Maybe 2 120 or 140 mm fan will work? I have 2 2980W PSUs coming on my way, I will be able to check. Good thing is 2980W has built in 3 pin header for fans so adding any fans would be easy.

Are those standard 3 pin headers?  I hope the 2880s have them too.  I'm not sure that the area is wide enough for two 120mm fans since kilo's 180mm seems to fit pretty well.
758  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Large review of Finksy/J4bbrwock server psus compared to ATX psu- photos up on: January 07, 2016, 01:53:05 AM
Just my luck that I only have enough power to run two 2880 PSU and not three.  I wonder if it's possible to use the 180mm fan with just two units stacked.

Aren't these a bit overpriced considering this is 0.66 to 0.69 gear.

Seems to be a sellers market these days.
760  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling 1TH/s AntMiner S2 1000GH/s BITCOIN on: January 06, 2016, 07:31:14 PM
I don't think the S2 comes with a RPi controller.
