741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: August 10, 2018, 04:34:25 PM
Should we invest in altcoins?and why?which is better altcoins or equity shares?

My answer would be quite short, charming and realistic skylark!

"Why not?"

When you have enough resources to last you a solid  year without being employed then by all means, but altcoins!

You see, altcoins are intended to be bitcoin alternatives!  So one can expect a spike anytime compared to the tradition equity shares that most safe people chose to embark on.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO VS TRADING on: August 10, 2018, 04:29:14 PM
I want to start investing for ico and trading. Please to help from where should I start?

What needs to be prepared and cared for before starting it?

I am very grateful for the members who helped me in this forum.

and maybe this can also re-remind the new citizens who want to enter the world of investment (trading and ico).

thanks

First and foremost, your end game is split into two and in a very confusing manner coinadon!

There's really no picking between ICO and Trading as both are an absolutely two different platform so to say!

Choose one and maybe you'll be able to understand much much better!

743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: August 03, 2018, 08:00:15 PM
Hi guys.

Out of curiosity, what are you earning with bounty campaigns?
I think I'm somewhere near 1K USD/month, but I guess there have to be people here who are earning lots more.

Kind regards

EDIT:

As many people do not believe these profits, I will explain how I make them.

I focus on the translation campaigns (dutch). A translation pays +- 3 ETH on average. I have only started (only 1 translation has been paid, I received +-2 ETH), but as I can make up to 3 translations/month (currently working on 2 more), this would get me 9 ETH/month.  As not every project is succesful, let's say I will receive 4,5 ETH/month.

Do not focus on signature campaigns or social media campaigns, these are the crumbs (especially for members with lower ranks) while translation campaigns are probably the bread.

I use the Bountyhive platform to manage my bounty participations, this platform makes it possible to be enrolled in 10 campaigns at the same time, without having to report.

The part of bountyhive got the good part of me there. Wishing bounties be handled the same way they handle yours.

The non-reporting is really a good vibe to start with.

As for me though, i join only atlcoin campaigns. Why? Because the payout is usually higher than weekly or monthly payouts (though no guarantees here, yet one good thing still remains) if the ICO made it big, your altcoin reward becomes really wonderful.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the King of ICO, Do you agree? on: August 03, 2018, 07:54:10 PM
If Bitcoin is king of cryprocurrency, then Ethereum is the king of all ICOs ,do you agree?  Stella, neo and no other blockchain has hosted ICO than Ethereum.

Hello richan!

We will be needing a categorical set of qualifiers before we decide that Ethereum is the king of all ICOs! Remember that the first ICO was held by MasterCoin and on the next year, Ethereum declared their crowdfunding or ICO and was able to pull off the needed amount of money to spread their business into reality chunks.

I think it would only be fair to declare the Ethereum is not the king of all ICOs, but is among the most successful group.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Pre-pre-ICOs? on: August 03, 2018, 07:49:19 PM
There are lots of projects who launch their pre-pre-ico and highly advertise their product before they start their first stage of pre-ICO. Do you think it's justified?

Hi there WhatsOnPic_PR!

So far (on a very personal basis), i haven't encountered a pre-pre-ICO till date.

What i saw was private sales before a pre-ICO.  Having a pre-pre-ico might really be bad for the business as of the moment when trust is not established among many other ICOs.

My apologies, but it do think it's not justified till rate.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when is safe to sell my alts? on: August 03, 2018, 07:40:21 PM
Hi all i have a lot of altcoins i invested before the bloody days and now most of then are down lik 50%. Should i sell them with no profit but also no loss or shold i keep them a little more to make profit? what would you do?

A very valid arguement there ady_crypto.

As much as that greedy little voice inside me would advise you to hodl a bit more, i'd say it would be best to sell them since you are not losing at all (except for the profit) should you be in a dire situation for the need of funds or money.

Practicality always wins, my grandfather used to tell me, and it was hilariously true.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: August 03, 2018, 07:38:18 PM
I wish I was joking but this market will take at least 2 years to recover and build momentum again.
Market fundamentals have changed!

I hate contradicting an honest opinion, so to say.

But i do hope you could give us some numbers to indicate that 2 years would be precise.

You see, anyone can make any good predictions, but people only listen to statistics.  Please be kind enough to share them with us, your brute analysis of the market and perhaps some historical facts to back it up.

I would love to know where did you get that 2 years estimate atlantis123.
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel like quitting? on: August 03, 2018, 07:36:14 PM
The market has been down for too long. Do you feel like quitting cryto because you ve lost much?
For me, am a die hard fan of crypto. I will be a coward if i run away. I will stay till the green light shows. What about you?

Hi there Dacosta!

Well, bravery does at times equate to foolishness, and i think many would agree without batting an eyelash.

Given the current circumstances where the market continuously witnesses a sea of red, i think it would only be wise to stay in the market as long as you have enough resources to pull it off.

But if your pockets are already dried up and the only financial response you could come up with is by selling the crypto amount you have, then it wouldn't be a foolish move at all.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time do you spend on bounty campaigns? on: August 03, 2018, 07:07:06 PM
How much time do you spend on bounty campaigns?

Is it worth doing bounty campaigns?

How much can you make from one bounty campaigns?

Hi mariamiltoft!

My apologies if my answer might sound so generic, but i believe firmly that there is no better way to address your question but to be relatively honest.

Yes, relative.  For all the answers to your questions are relative.

Time spent on the bounty campaigns is relative to one's free time (since most of us are employed)!

Bounty campaigns become worthy relative on your expectations.

And the amount of money one can make from a bounty is relative to the project's success.

750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: holding and prices will go up ? on: August 03, 2018, 06:55:17 PM
Everyone is holding and saying prices will go up again what can make prices go up again ? I do believe it will go up but not like last December unless something comes in and changes the market so what do you think it could be ?

Well, any economy dictates that value increases along with the demand. So the limited supply will influence the growth and increase of price.

And in crypto economy, that is usually attained through hodling!

So many do tend to fully believe that hodling will cause the price and value to spike up and high.  Yet, we have to be reminded that utilization has a lot to do with the demand of any coin or token.  Without which, a cryptocurrency might face extinction, so to say the least.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: August 03, 2018, 06:28:08 PM
What altcoins are you guys picking up for cheap in this dip?

Hi there hvdf112!

Ethereum has always been a favored altcoins for many (and for myself too).  It is already mainstream, the buy support is well established and utilization is really well and upbeat.

Though there are few coins or tokens out there that are worth your while too (or money for this instance).  But i'd rather not suggest directly, rather, it would be best to find a token you trust and believe in. So that in the end, there will be very little regret altogether.

Best of luck!

Hi there Voom!

Hodling is the term actually (for the crypto world so to say).

And there's not other way for real crypto enthusiast fanatics but to HODL! You ain't a true blooded crypto enthusiast if you have not experienced a HODL in your lifetime #Laughs

But sincerely, as many would say, there's not way but up!!!!  So HODL as much as you could, unless you're about to break!

As of the moment, all bullrun prediction failed, but hey, all hope is never lost.  It will come for sure! When? No one can predict actually.

Volatility is something all of us should come to accept as part of the trade!

Yet again, i sincerely hope things gets better soon! #Unleash_the_Bulls
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are tokens in bounty campaign paid? on: July 27, 2018, 04:14:30 PM
Just wanted to ask if we need any kind of wallets to recieve those tokens after the completion of campaign. And also how can token be traded into bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies.Any idea?

Hi there heroson!

Yes, wallets are need to receive your payment once a campaign is completed.

And those wallets will depend on the preference of the ICO/Project. Some will ask for a ERC-20 wallet (MEW is a good option), some will ask for WAVES, some will ask for a Stellar wallet, and so on.  There's really no limit on what they might ask of you to have.  Be ready to sign up and create one, they are usually free and easy to do.  But keep in mind that some will ask that you keep some particular amount of token or coin to be saved on your wallet as a proof of activity.

Sadly, not all tokens paid by a campaign is instantly listed on exchanges, and some could be listed but with no trading value.  There's no holding guarantee that your token reward can be instantly converted into bitcoin or any other crypto currency.

And with that, i hope you end up with good ones! #BestOfLuck
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more Scam projects on: July 27, 2018, 04:04:05 PM
Guys, faced with the project, took part in the bounty, the result of Scam. Took part in another bounty company, there ICO ended more than a month ago, and the payment has not yet been the bounty Manager is silent...Apparently this year's bad in respect of ICO projects.

Scams everywhere and i feel you Algovorov! (and i believe a lot out here in the forum do feel the same).

The things is, even the most diligent bounty participant fall prey to these unfortunate event.  And the sad truth is out there that none can predict when a project is legit nor when the bounty manager could be trusted fully.  There's no absolute way to guarantee that participants will get paid.

In fact, disclaimers abound each bounty campaign declaring (usually indirectly) that participants are at their own risk upon joining one.  No finger pointing there as none forced you to join the bounty.

So let's just hope that first and foremost, bounty managers be more fair and give what is due to participants and that majority of the ICOs be legit and turn out to be successful.

Hoping the bounty economy see a brighter future in the coming days.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: July 27, 2018, 03:50:14 PM
Hello everyone!

We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.

And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?

I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.

What is your idea?

Hi there aleksandra!

First and foremost, you have a great table topic here.

It has been a consistent downtrend for most of the cryptocurrencies around and as many cited, this is not really abnormal, it is indeed a part of any economical cycle whether fiat in nature or digital.

I could not really speak in behalf of other investors, but what else could we do in times like this but to hodl as much as we could. Fight the cringe until before we literally break.

It's like having a piggy bank and fighting off the itch to smash it open till we really have no choice but to break it. And we really wouldn't care anymore how much is there as long as we have something to spend.

That's the downside of investing in crypto. It would be wise to realize that volatility will always be an intrinsic characteristics of any digital asset.

I just hope things get better soon so that people like us who are dependent on the crypto economy gets to breath fresh air again. #winks
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEW was error on: July 27, 2018, 03:30:40 PM
Yesterday (Jully 17), when I opened MEW link, I  didn't asscess . About 30 mins later, I asscessed  but website have problem. I didn't do anything and anything was mixed .
after I deleted some of data and reset my computer. It became normal.
What happend? Is it dangerous ?

What happen to you and the way it got solved is really vague, something that would be hard to give a concrete answer.

Though it does sounds an issue from your end. A restart on your end strongly indicates such possibility.

Still, it would be good to report the incident to MEW themselves so that they could advise you if such error occurred during the time you experienced the issue.

Run an antivirus scan and anti-malware too! I think it would be wise to do a system health check on your computer.

Genuinely hoping that your portfolio is intact even after the incident.  Stay safe.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS or ETH, which one is preferable?? on: July 27, 2018, 02:10:44 PM
In the current situation of better growth of crypto industry I want to make some investment.
But I really got confused when I am going to make the final decision. My mind is supporting ETH but my study suggesting to go for EOS.
I am just freaking puzzled to make the final decision.

Could you plesae suggest me one or both with percentage to make a fruitful investment??

Regards.

Hi Clayton!

I'm genuinely glad you took notice of the growth of crypto industry despite the bearish season the economy is experiencing.

But truly, cryptocurrency is seeing a continuous persistent growth in summary.

And not the one who love to take the blame (hence, i will not privilege myself to suggest any coin or token so i remain on the safe side #winks).

I think you have to consider the marketcap of your choiced crypto where the unitary cost is multiplied by the number of coins in circulation for the value to be metrically valuated.  Don't be taken too aback with that,  you need not break your head to valuate your preferred token, you have coinmarketcap for that, check it out.

Hope this helps and of course, best of luck to you! #cheers
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins do you like besides Ethereum? on: July 27, 2018, 01:47:27 PM
I will choose a coin after a while. The coin is too much now. Which coin do you like? Please tell me some reasons. I will thank you very much.

Hey there seaqrioy!

I think it would be wise for you to choose one the soonest (and please note that i say that in the modest tone i know possible, not with a single flinch of arrogance).

The reason being is that we are still witnessing the bearish season of cryptocurrencies.  The wave is tarnished with a sea of red, values (and prices of course)  are on the downside (i know it makes many frown especially those that intends to sell them) for people like you who plan to buy coins or tokens, the bearish season is the perfect chance to "buy low".

And as the value of coins are based on market capitalization, you can check out coinmarketcap for the leading cryptocurrencies that might stir your interest!

Hope i was of help (even just a bit). Best of Luck!
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My bounty story (5.99eth) on: July 27, 2018, 01:36:33 PM
Dear newbies, i wanted to inspire you about my bounty experince in signature campaign. Im just a rank member, i join a lot of sig bounty but im always dissapointed because almost of the bounty that i joined is always a failed project.

Until i met bountyhive.io , i used to join on their signature campaign which is cool cousins. That project became so successful which about to hit its hardcap. Then one day signature bounty ends Im so surprise for what i got on their bounty reward it gives me 22,612.5 cuz which like 5.99ETH its my first time to receive for that high ammount of reward and planning to hold that coin because it got a big potential.

Patience is the key if you believe on what you are doing then just continue it, even if you fail many times dont back down just believe that oneday crypto and bounty projects will give you instant jackpot! Just be patient like me :-)

I hope this could motivate and inspire you. Thank you for reading.

Thank you for sharing you success story eugene! I am genuinely happy for you.

And yes, it sprinkled a glimpse of hope for many (i'm sure) including myself.  Who wouldn't want to experience the same stroke of luck as you did?  Everyone is looking forward for that one fine day when our sigcamp would reward us well.  And you did really well given you are a rank member only.

And i'd say more than bountyhive, cool cousins are wonderful and is deserving of praise for truly looking after those who promoted their project.

Again, much thanks for sharing your story and wishing you more successful signature campaigns! #cheers
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users on: July 27, 2018, 01:30:18 PM
I am quite new here and I just want to know what are the differences of this project compared to the native applications? What are the major effects of these differences on our society and how we use it in our daily lives?
Hey KeyboardWarrior! You goota be ready with the shocking and amazing features of applications Yappadappado offers. They are called PWA or web applications by the way but, when we say web applications we have a bad notions about it but not anymore with YAPPADAPPADO’s web applications store. Take a loot at the picture below

shikaina is right. You better think and count all of the disgusting experiences you have with native applications and see for your self the differences. By the way you can try their beta version right now in yappadappadoo.com
This time one can be independent of their mobile provider’s application stores anymore. With Yappadappadoo users can be free, whether he be using android or apple, microsoft or blackberry. Doesnt matter also if his device is old, Yappadappadoo will work fine with it.
Be ready for change for PWAs is emerging in applications industry and this is a head start for you to have known
this Yappadappadoo early and the PWAs that they'll soon be offering. PWAs are multi-platform,
no restrictions and can work on all smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices, on all operating systems- as being elaborated above.

To get ready would be an understatement!

I doubt no one is really prepared as of the moment how PWAs can revolutionize the application industry. There's more to everything we are seeing right now than disrupting these colossal native app providers.

We might see a totally fresh industry of its own.  Once PWAs starts to roll out and people starts adopting, expect a flock of new PWA developers that could turn the PWA sector into a new fierce industry that would revolutionize the use cases of PWAs instead of merely competing with native apps we came to love so much.
