For me with two thread speed is ~1-2% same as eqm miner, if GPU usage drop would be fixed, speed would be same

Great!
Mining on nicehash as thanks for the great nvidia cuda support.
Anyway even if nicehash takes 3%, just mining it and never worrying or exchaning ZEC for BTC is worth it, if your time is valued less than 1USD per hour, only then you can "invest" your time in mining on other pools and exchaning your zecs manually.
the difference is far greater, now using this open source miner to mine on any pool give me roughly 50% more profit than mining on nicehash directly if you call this only 3%, then your math is wrong on unbelievable level you math is flowed, you can have 50% more onlu if pool luck is 40% over calc which is insane, and be sure pool luck for zcash sux... so do you test proper I have minened for weeks on nicehash and on other pools and difference is few % more or less depending on price, diff, pool luck , etc same hash on whattomine one give me $7 the other $4.5, this is the average 24H whattomine is pretty accurate, the myth that whattomine is wrong is more than wrong For last 7 days, difference on what to mine is 15%, and you can bet none pool will give you 100% from calculator on zcash, nad nicehash payout is 100% to it, because it has nothing with pool luck

none just run the miner two times (not closing the first one)

You might take a look at https://github.com/nicehash/nheqminerat least for NV its nicehash source of their solver also Claymore 11 started using assembler and he managed a lot to boost a speed for older AMD HW as tahiti, hawai (280x, 380, 390, fury, nano) etc, no RX optimization

I just switched from NiceHash to EWBF. It was mining just fine on Suprnova and than suddenly it just gave me this error saying some workers have stopped and restart attempts
use 2x threads you card boost more and you OC is high and threads crash due unstable OC if you have 2x threads card will boost less and will be more stable, but its due your OC settings not the miner fault
|
|
|
run with CD 0 1 2 3 4 5 then run the BAT file again to have two working threads per card, speed should be same as ewbf
|
|
|
Works, speed match eqm
I think there is a limit to CD 0 0 1 1, etc to 8 devices and for 5 card rig for two thread I need 10...

Tnx for open source I bet some ppl with appreciate it

I presume if VRM get shorted, PCB will be damaged at least on mid/high end cards
In past like 6+ years ago most problems were due GPU used bad solder to PCB so reflow helped, now I think its VRM mostly or GPU memory going bad

Try nicehash version, if it still crash then you rigs are not stable, prolly PSU or some weak link (power riser cables, risers, cards, etc) zcash so far use more power and it spikes more then lbry, eth, etc

about dev-fee...just curious...within 90 minutes of mining i get 319 shares for me, and 32 shares for dev...it's 10%...why? have a log if you need.
If im not mistaken, it depend on the difficulty of the dev pool, if your pool is more difficult, and dev pool less difficult it will get more share done for him, because the share hash faster for his pool than it does for your pool. how it is possible?i wanna mine less difficult pool too.i thought that difficulty is the same for all miners and pools...not convincing... you need to learn some basics first, pool difficulty does not make any difference on what you earn, you just save some pool and network bandwith with more diff on pool, and most pool have variable diff which is good

I had 256H/s for my RX 480 8GB now it's at 286H/s, massive improvement for these cards. (It is overclocked to 1370/2250.)
How is possible so many overclocking? I have 6 x SAPPHIRE RX480 OC + 8 Gb (default clock is 1342/2000 MHz) and overclock with the GPU power +0 freezes my computer. At 2100 MHZ of memory is stable only a few hours. Which graphics card you have and which OC software do you use? Its like that when you listen some freaks from bench forum and put 6x 480 on ~1000w PSU

EWBF 1.10 is out, speed is now almost 100% same, Memory controller usagenice hash version use 3% more and I think TDP is on nice hash is less by 1-2% but difference is marginal to say .....

@ bensam1231
I have one MSI gaming x also died after 1 month (auto fan setting used) , new one is kept with custom fun not to go over 65C, did any die with custom fun, or are they all been on auto settings?

with c version speed up is ~1% or so 1.7%

@ewbf, any reason the miner can't recover from a error 46 (I think that's the right code). This happens when the graphics driver crashes in eventlog. A simple close and re-open gets it going again. Do I have to resort to a script? Anyone have one configured for these bat files already? I know I have a sample somewhere...
too much overclock probably, additionnaly you can try :start your command goto start if command crash or stop for any reason it will restart it again But what if you want to stop the miner? Wont the .bat be caught in an endless loop? It will not, but to work 100% you need to disable windows error screen nag, so if miner crash with error message you don`t need to click OK on it

@ lokko Some newbie twat as you first need to learn and respect ppl that help community and develop for a change... and better stfu about thing you have none knowlage no one is forcing anyone to use nicehash miner or fee miner, and you moaning is beyond all good taste also there is constant problem with zcash and pool luck on most pools, its hard to get 100% luck with any, and most time its under by 5-7% so even if nicehash zcash pool is a market which is mostly under zcash price, the difference is not so huge as idiot as you try to show You need time and resources to investigate profitability, and twat mining 2h on some pool know shit And if you are zcash holder I am really sorry for you but you have no right to spread hate and lie due your bad investment!
