7521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Happy New Year! Welcome 2019 the year of the cryptonians! on: January 04, 2019, 06:49:04 AM
It's always been our year, its that we have witnessed a bearish trend in 2018. So let's be positive that 2019 will be a significant year for all of us in terms of price. I do hope that we will see some semblance of market recovery and forget all our losses in 2018.

There's a lot of things that can go right this year, like the Ethereum Constantinople fork, the Bakkt bitcoin future offerings or even the ETF. So let's see how it pans out in the first quarter because it will really dictate how the market will turn out this year.
7522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run on January, February or March? Your Predictions please...... on: January 04, 2019, 06:40:17 AM
If BAKKT push thorough with their original plans or shall I say if CFTC approves it in January then we might see a good bounce to around $6K levels. But if it will be postponed again, then the price will definitely suffer. I doubt that a Bitcoin ETF is going to be approved though, I'm leaning towards a BAKKT approval so let's see how it goes.
7523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 04, 2019, 06:12:24 AM
What are the possibilities for Floyd versus Pacman 2 if Manny wins dominantly where he gives Adrien Broner a pair of biological sunglasses hehehe? High chance, medium or low?

I reckon the fans are ready for another super fight.

Not unless Broner pull a upset and derail the plans then its possible we won't see the rematch. It's not an easy fight for Manny Pacquiao but his total ring IQ and experienced and of course his power will make this fight a Manny Pacquiao show.

I don't know if we can call it super fight though. But in terms of money for the taking, maybe we can call it super money fight. Lmao.
7524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 232: Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: January 04, 2019, 06:07:23 AM
^  I guess he is.  Even if Velasquez wasn't at 100%, but somewhat near it (70% - 80%), I think he'd still win vs Ngannou.  And if he thought Miocic's wrestling was tough, wait til he's vs Velasquez.  Lmao.  Ngannou won't last the whole 5 rounds imho.

I agree. We all know how Cain's wrestling in his A-game. And I don't see Francis winning unless he hit Velasquez with a lucky shot. Although it's interesting to see if he is going to be affected by ring rust because his been out for about 2 years, if I'm not mistaken.
7525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will post my predictions starting tomorrow! on: January 04, 2019, 06:00:32 AM

Got another win there mate, seems that you are doing well with your predictions, continue doing this and for sure you will gain a lots of followers, people/gamblers always like to tail people who have a good run and as a beginner expect more critcs coming up.

Looks like @Sinigang is on a roll. Lol. Yeah, if he really do good I'm sure followers will come naturally. Will be waiting for the next tips and see how it goes. Never mind the haters or troll, it's just normal specially if you are really hitting your predictions.
7526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 232: Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: January 03, 2019, 04:48:01 AM
Anyone watch the Preliminary fight BJ Penn vs Ryan Hall? It's the 6th straight loss for Hall of Famer BJ Penn and its the first time that BJ Penn was defeated via submission. I think its about time that BJ Penn retires. he has nothing to prove anymore. He may have a lot of fights left that his body can withstand but the younger generation of fighters nowadays are different from his era when his name is one of the feared fighters in the octagon.

I think he got injured as well as Ryan Hall was one of the best in this kind of submission. I think majority of us here agree that it's time for BJ Penn to retire, Nothing more to proved as he cemented his legacy and I'm sure he also made tons of money so no need to push his body and fight younger generations.
7527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Litecoin-UFC Partnership Lead to Mass Adoption? on: January 03, 2019, 04:42:49 AM
Possible that it can go mainstream, its a partnership so I'm expecting that every UFC event we will see the LTC logo and it might reinforce to some UFC fans about crypto, hence they might be interested to purchase LTC as investment, so let's hope that this is just the start not just for LTC but for the rest of the crypto enthusiast.
7528  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you see 2019 going for Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2019, 04:29:17 AM
Just like what others have said, it could either to North or South.

Of course as crypto trader/investors we wanted to see the price going North however the market is really hard to predict. There are 2 important events that may help the market grow again though, BAKKT and Bitcoin ETF, if one of them gets approved then I'm sure we can see some massive growth this year. So let's see how this year pans out.
7529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather set for New Year's Eve fight in Japan on: January 03, 2019, 04:04:12 AM
Actually it is said that Mayweather didn't make 9 millions but ten times that because of PPV shares he received.
Not bad for 2 minutes of sparring.

If that is true then Mayweather really pulls the best scam in sporting history hehehe. So thats $ 90 million without hard work and training in contrast to other sporting personalities like in NBA basketball which players make that kind of money in like 5 -10 years.
7530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of winning be with all the gamblers in 2019. on: January 03, 2019, 03:55:27 AM
Hard to said this but we must be truth to ourself.  Gambling is the most risky among all the investments ventures and it is really very difficult for you to continue making profits.  I believe that currently we should not hesitate to make this prayers that God should put his favor on us and for us to keep making many winning trade than 2018.

I'm not really sure about that, what has God something to do with our gambling habits? We made that decision to enter the gambling world in hope of making money but it we did lose then we should blame it to ourselves and same when we won huge.
7531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GET OUT WHEN YOU CAN!!OR STAY AND CRY! on: January 03, 2019, 03:25:23 AM
sadly it is over friends!!!but of course too hard to believe!

What a negative member here on forum. Why creating hype if you can do something better in cryptos? Well I guess few will going to believe you as they are focused on their profits rather than believing about these negative hypes.

Lol. You are a newbie so I know where you coming from. There are a lot of members here who loves to spread panic and fear amongst us. But for sure, once you mature you will really understand what's their motive behind and I'm sure that you will just laugh on those people who do that on our community.

Anyways, the market is still alive and kicking and even though the price is still very low sooner or later we will see some action that will push the market on the next bull run, you just have to wait and see, or better yet, take advantage by accumulating more crypto's right now.
7532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: January 03, 2019, 03:17:32 AM
Because not all gamblers know how to use computers or what, most especially the old guys who still want to go to the casinos than to play online. there’s a big difference between playing games online and gambling because as far as I know very few online games that pay enough money to you and that is why gamblers still love to play the traditional games where they can earn more.

How about women as well? I see some interview that there are more girls/women in online games but what the heck? I mean does women has nothing to do with their time and just play online games? lol.

Maybe most of them will graduate and will lure to the world of gambling, maybe some of them don't. But personally, I played online games myself but I didn't enjoy it and I really prefer the world of gambling. hehehe.
7533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 03, 2019, 03:05:06 AM
The trigger is to have money and an invitation from friends to bet, it could be people who are initially just trying but with the pleasure obtained at the beginning will trigger them to continue gambling without realizing they have lost a lot, and then they will continue gambling to win or just want to have fun. I think there are many factors and the main possibilities are environmental factors and the need to get money quickly even though it seems impossible but for those who already know gambling, then they will gambling.

Could be one factor as well, - environment. If you see friends or families playing then I'm sure that at one point in your life you will be tempted and then you are hooked and can't give up your gambling addiction. Environment plays a big factor not just in gambling but on all facets of life. So it's very difficult to get out, and even if you have plans to exit but the people around you are encouraging you to play again and again, it's nearly impossible to quit.
7534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will post my predictions starting tomorrow! on: January 03, 2019, 02:53:39 AM
At least you should have introduced yourself first, like how many years have been betting and following those sports so that we can gauge if you have what it takes to be a good sport predictors in this community. Anyhow, good luck and let's see how you do specially I followed NBA games.
7535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best way to profit in cryptocurrency on: January 02, 2019, 04:21:03 AM
As I see the situation the best way to earn in current market condition is to buy crypto by cash and wait Bull trend. Only in this case we can make really good profit!  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Yes that's one scenario that most investors are doing. Just buy cheap coins and then hold as long as you can or till there is a massive profit to make specially if it has been pump and bull run happens.

But there are set of investors who do short or day trading, it more riskier but if you know what you're doing then definitely you can also make good profits daily or even monthly. Just choose what fits your needs though, because majority of the traders are too emotional that's why they just prefer to hold.
7536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather set for New Year's Eve fight in Japan on: January 02, 2019, 03:50:31 AM
Why is everyone angry when Floyd won the fight? You have an experienced 40 year old, 50 - 0, best pound for pound boxer versus a young kickboxer fighting in boxing rules. How was this fight supposed to end?

Not angry but a bit disgusted. We all know that Floyd said he is the GOAT, but how come you became one of the greatest if you keeps on fighting for the money? And I think you know that there are predominantly Pacquaio fans around the community and they wanted to see Floyd lost and take away that 0. lol.
7537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH back to second place on coinmarketcap and overtake XRP again? on: January 02, 2019, 03:45:27 AM
81% of your votes show that ethereum will be able to return to second place on the marketcap. That is proof that people believe in ethereum more and want it back.
And that will be a true story, there was less than 7 millions dollars gap between ethereum's marketcap and ripple. we could surpass ripple again and this might happen tomorrow.
Ethreum gives a lot of advantages to the whole of crypto ecosystem.

Unfortunately, it's not the case because i just looked at cmc just now and see that XRP is still on the second spot however, ETH has a huge spike in the last day or so. So its going to be a tough battle for ETH unless the fork really propel them back to the second spot so let's wait and see.

It's going to be interesting on the second week of January. Might be a good time to accumulate right now and take the profits later when Constantinople goes live in mid January.
7538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run or Dead Cat Bouncing ? on: January 02, 2019, 02:58:53 AM
I'll call it dead. Unless consistency in gaining is observed then we can consider it a bull run. Longest bull-trap I had experienced was like around 1.5k of hopes lost. I was about to call it gains but then it was a pull. Right now, I won't expect it to get past 5k or even 4.5k. I would rather be satisfied by seeing it climbing slowly to 4k (I am seeing 3.8k right now) rather than a burst gain of 4k in an hour where that's where I will presume it is a bull trap.

I guess by now we can say that it's really a dead cat bounce or a trap initiated by who else, the big whales again. Everyone was ecstatic when the price reaches above $4K but it didn't sustained because speculators cashing out for the holidays. Right now it's $3800 again, thus, I don't expect a dramatic rise, we might see the price trading sideways for the next months or so.
7539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: January 02, 2019, 02:37:25 AM
Recently, a Korean National has been robbed here in my place while riding the Taxi going home and lose the money that he won in the casinos, Its around 4Million Pesos or $75,000. This is not new in gambling industry since many incidents like this before. Do you ever think its a real accident or its just an inside job where the employees of casinos are involve or the casino itself?

This is a once in a lifetime opportunities to become a millionaire, and yet it is being taken easily by a more greedy people. Now I’m wondering if its still safe to go to casinos or better to play online? What’s your thought about this?

Here’s the link for your reference (it’s not translated in english but I’ve already share the summary of this news):
https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/balitambayan/balita/679284/koreanong-nanalo-ng-p4m-sa-casino-hinoldap-sa-pasay/story/
Most likely it was an insider or someone employed by the casino to rob him, but there were other possibilities such as the people who were there when he won a big victory by watching the game. That's why online gambling is now more popular because there are many security reasons there.

I doubt that it's a inside job, no cell phones is allowed if employees are in the floor so there's no way that they if they connived with a gang or something, to communicate and identify the target. It was one of the gang's member who saw the man winning, and he works with the outside member once the man went out.
7540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Triggers Gambling Addiction on: January 02, 2019, 02:27:17 AM
Emotion or lack of control of it . They just keeping playing at expensed of their financial health & well being

Exactly, most of the gamblers I know can't control their emotions. I see them still going even though they have lost so much money and thinking that they can recoup everything and then go back to normal life. But it's not the case and they turn out to be a compulsive gambler even if they know the negative consequences it can bring not just for themselves but for their love ones as well, they continue to gamble until it's too late.
