761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - Nextgen Financial Ecosystem | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: May 24, 2017, 07:32:47 PM
I expect that exscudo should have collected more money from investors than it is right now. Well, I hope that they will all jump in before the deadline. Exscudo is a project
Huh what? How much do you expect they should collect in the ICO?
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: May 24, 2017, 04:28:51 AM
Some good movement at price these day after a while.

How many users have access to ICNX right now?
When it launches, it will be an ERC20 token on Ethereum, so everyone should have access to it.
I don't think it would be an ERC 20. Because ERC 20 tokens have fixed supply. In case of ICNX new tokens would be regularly created and destroyed.
ICNX will be erc-20 token and it will be visible on the Ethereum blockchain. It will be a special erc-20 token because it won't have fixed supply, like you say.
The first of its kind

Will the team be doing new ICO for it or are we going to buy ICNX using ICN? I'm not an Investor by the way, I just got my ICN on exchanges so I don't have access to the platform as of now. I'm hoping it will be open for us soon as possible.
ICNX is a completely separate product and token. You can buy ICNX when it gets listed on exchanges, or via peer to peer trades, depending on who lists that token. If an exchange lists ICNX/ICN trading pair, you can buy ICNX with ICN. Normally however you'd buy ICNX with BTC or ETH.

Every coin/token have it's turn.

Lunyr is still hibernating. Always worth to wait for a potential token!  Cool
Let the weaker hands sell first though Wink

With the Bitcoin price rise, the team should have sufficient funds to do a lot of development and release polished products. Look forward to that happening.

Until when is the ICO campaign for Exscudo? I hope I am not to late to participate in their ICO.
I think it will finish on May 31.
Better investment right now, because this is so promising, even now has accumulated funds as much as 1,695 BTC, and will always increase. I am sure this will be more than 2000 btc when the ICO is over.
One advantage of a longer-time frame ICO in a bullish market is that the Bitcoin they raised at the beginning is worth much more in USD terms now than when the investment was made.
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: May 23, 2017, 10:21:58 PM
Quote
Question to everyone here: which ticker symbol do you all prefer:

PPT or POP?

"PPT" sounds slightly more business. "Pop" like popcorn, does not inspire much trust.
If I am not mistaken, there was a coin called Popular Coin, which was POP back in the day. May be best to avoid that clash
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - Nextgen Financial Ecosystem | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: May 21, 2017, 02:17:48 PM
I hope it is not too late to Invest here.. I will try to open an account later in the day and buy a few to hold for long term. I am looking to slowly invest in some promising altcoins tokens but am quite new to investing myself. My Wife usually does that side of things.
It's not too late to get into the ICO if that's what you're asking. The window is still open.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: May 21, 2017, 02:10:51 PM
If you are long term trader , go for Ethereum.
If you are daily trader , go for Dogecoin .

Dogecoin is one of the best coins for trading and even other purpose . Many are of the opinion Ethereum is the No.1 altcoin but for me it is dogecoin.

agree to this but i would like to add ICN for long term trading as the price do still continue to rise since their ICO few months ago, i just made a big mistake exiting too early, i supposed to profit almost 5x of my money there
ICN is said to have invested 15000 ETH in ARGRON's ICO process, and the investment has generated a lot of profits, so ICN should have a good future.
ICN is an interesting project for sure. I think we'll know more information when they release their next quarter's report of assets and book value. If I am not mistaken, that would also be the first time they will reveal their ICN-burn tokens, so that can reduce the supply quoted on coinmarketcap.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: May 21, 2017, 02:05:03 PM
Is there another place to keep track of all the TaaS updates that doesn't include discussions about the bounty program? I would be interested to see some planned reports by the team of the list of assets on their books at the end of each month/quarter. That's quite important and will drive the long-term price, since it is a closed-end fund.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: May 21, 2017, 02:02:59 PM
I remember the times i invested some money in this coin and exited when i reach double the profit and that is unfortunate for me, if I only hold my coins until today i have bigger amount of money now in my pocket

Sad story bro
I don't know mate. Our perception of returns can be quite skewed when it comes to crypto. Usually, a 100% return is nothing to laugh at. We just tend to compare to the best returns of the crypto-asset class. If you're trading, however, just stick to a strategy that you're comfortable with. If you flip-flop too often, say between trading and long-term investing, you'll usually end up getting the worst of both worlds.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - Nextgen Financial Ecosystem | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: May 21, 2017, 01:58:19 PM
Yes. Project looks very solid and professional. Any info that when Exscudo will be tradable on Exchanges after ico has finished on 25 may?
maybe like the other projects, Liqui, bittrex, etc but who know it yet for now ? just wait untill ICO finished and they will give us update
Hopefully there's in a big exchanger like bittrex like ico that before and has been a success, and also dev start faster update compared 2 weeks earlier, we must be more patient waiting for the good news.

Right! We must be patient, every good thing need his time.. I remember when XEM was listed on small exchanges only, and was swept therefor... IMHO exscudo can doing good, but it need the support of all of us.
Although that's true, remember that for every one NEM there are scores of sh!tcoins that never went anywhere and died without larger exchanges supporting them. In today's markets, the support of larger exchanges is important for a coin to take off.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - Nextgen Financial Ecosystem | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: May 20, 2017, 11:45:12 PM
Just to avoid issues down the road, did the devs touch-base with the Bitshares devs at all? This is because Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steemit has announced the launch of 'EON' which is obviously very different from what Exscuso is trying to build. Given the recent price increase in BTS, it will likely gain more traction going forward.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: May 20, 2017, 11:43:24 PM
Just found out about this ICO and I've read the posted stuff.

Let me know if I get the following right:

- populous is basically in the factoring business
- blockchain is used to facilitate the flow of business and funds via internal Pokens
- ICO investors get PPT coins and no Pokens

Now the key questions are:
- How will PPT holders benefit from the growth of the business ?
- Will there be any dividend of share ownership deal with the company ?
- Will PPT be traded on exchanges ?

I support all initiatives for implementing blockchain in the financial world but I want to understand the dynamics of the coin before investing.
I second these questions. It wasn't entirely clear to me reading the whitepaper what the value of PPT coins are. Is it a percentage of all fees that are charged? Please elaborate on the economics of the token. If the platform grows, how do PPT holders benefit?

Hi, So the percentage of profit to ICO PPT holders will be based on the overall PPT sold during the ICO. The profit is divided equally amongst all PPT, regardless if the PPT holder had acquired his/her holdings during the ICO or at a later date. PPT holders should also benefit from speculation of PPT.

Hey - this is still a bit unclear.
1. What are the sources of profit for the PPT holders? Is it transaction fees for secondary trades, or do they make money in the primary market by assuming risk? Are the transaction fees or profits to PPT holders on both origination of a sale, and for secondary sale?
2. How are the profits returned to the PPT holders? Do you have a dividend or buyback? Are there details available on how profits will be shared? e.g. paid out in ETH every month or something along those lines.
3. I still don't fully understand the utility of doing this on a public blockchain. Seems like a convoluted way of pokens->fiat when it should just be possible for the parties to do this through a centralized exchange, since the money transfer is centralized anyway. What does doing this on Ethereum grant you?

Hi, I will try and make the answers as clear as possible.

1.  a)The sources of profit are from the commission charged to borrowers and investors who trade invoices on the platform. Not from trading of
investors funds collected from the ICO.

    b) There will be an 0.5% charge to external users who wish to exchange Pokens for fiat currencies via Populous.

We will by no means use funds invested from the ICO to trade invoices internally.

2. Profits are returned to investors in a way of repurchasing tokens and burning them, overall reducing the number of outstanding tokens in
circulation. At some later date we will introduce other methods of distribution of profit for token holders.

3. The benefits of doing on the blockchain are:

    a) Cost- Overall reduction in cost associated with invoice finance and passing that on to both borrowers and investors.

    b) Efficiency - The whole process is automated to an extent i.e our smart contract auction/crowd-funding process. Which impacts the speeding up
    and processing of payments.

    c) Barriers to entry  - Using the blockchain allows for example: An investor from India with bitcoin or ether to trade invoices with
someone from Denmark. This also allows investor to keep their anonymity which is one of the fundamental reason of building the platform on
       the blockchain.

   d) It is the choice of the Poken holder where they want to exchange their Pokens for fiat or any other crypto currency. The can do it with Populous
or use any exchange of their choosing. We are not an exchange or try to be.
We are not an exchange but an invoice platform but we are obliged to offer a service for borrowers and investors to convert Pokens back to
      fiat in their local currency.

    e) Transparency - Some investors or borrowers may want to prove actual events occurred.

    f) Duplicate invoicing fraud. By maintaining public ledger of asset transactions, this enables others in the industry not to refinance invoices that have currently being financed on the Populous platform

   4. In the near future we see Pokens being used for other various eCommerce and financial use cases and not just invoice trading. Currently at the
moment I see a major use case for pegged tokens as an crypto token that offsets the volatility associated with other non pegged crypto tokens
hence why we are able to create an invoice finance market place on the blockchain, but this can be extended to other types of short term property
   financing deals.

Thanks for these detailed answer, appreciate them.

So am I understanding this right that there are two primary sources of income for the project -
A. Commission charged to borrowers and lenders on the platform (how much is the %)?
B. Conversion of Pokens to fiat - 0.5%

So does this mean you'll use all the revenues to purchase back and burn PPTs? Will you keep anything for operations and other expenses, or is this going to come from ICO funds? How frequent will be the buybacks? Are the revenues audit-able by the PPT holders?

Hi, yes that's right. The two primary sources of income will be -

A. Commission charged to borrowers and lenders on the platform
B. Conversion of Pokens to fiat - 0.5%

The commission for A. is determined on what the credit check comes back with in regards of the invoice seller and their customer. This will range from 1.5% for a blue chip company who has a clear history of paying it suppliers, right down to 3%. There will also be an additional charge of 0.5% levied on investors who successfully win bids on invoices.

We will return all profit to PPT holders. If circumstances change that require us to retain funds for operational expense then we will inform PPT holders before hand.  No ICO funds will be used for buybacks. The frequency of buybacks will be determined at a later date. Our CFO will deliver at the end of our financial year a full audit financial statement for the viewing of PPT holders and non PPT holders.

This is good information, thanks. My only concern is that the whole process seems too centralized, and dependent on trusting the team with good management of money. This isn't a bad thing, but the team will need to gain the trust of the community for this to really grow into something.

How to know the current total raised? I can't find it in ico site.

You can check in https://exscudo.com/ico/ and until now it was raised  1,606 BTC / 3,224,495 USD. Dont check in another site because i was check in icoinfo.net it is not update. In there exscudo ico raised just 150 btc.
Yep, and if you want an even more accurate picture, use the BTC value from the website, and use the real-time price conversion to USD because the site doesn't do that automatically for you.

778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: May 14, 2017, 01:24:44 AM
All trades on the platform will be made using Pokens, this makes the platform transparent to a high degree. So if an invoice goes through the platform for say $65,000 this will appear in the transaction log on etherscan. I assume in the future as more trades go through the platform and become more visible via etherscan, the true potential of the platform will emerge and in return demand for PPT will raise in accordance to the long term trading prospects of the Platform as well as profit we establish from overseas operations.
How easy would it be to link the transactions in Pokens to the real-world identity of the companies borrowing and lending. I ask because presumably some of them may want to remain anonymous. If they re-use a wallet, for example, all their history can be made public. Who are all the parties that have access to the information linking the ETH addresses to the real-world identities?

Actually I don't care about Poloniex. This scam site which is going to scam a lot of coins in the future. I moved everything away from there.

You are trolling here, everyone knows polo is the best, why you accuse non-sense here? Hilarious troller.
There's a lot of hate going on for Polo at the moment, after their recent DDoS attack. Many traders lost a bunch because they couldn't get to the site and put/cancel orders, especially the ones on margin. You can see the site is still a bit slow and has more lag than usual.

So do you guys think we'll hit $1 before Consensus/Token Summit.  I'm thinking Consensus will be a big boost for ETH but not necessarily ICN.  I'll be buying more before the 22nd that's for sure.
Why do you think a conference will be a big boost to the price of any crypto token? Are you expecting some market-moving announcements for ETH and ICN?
