ICN presently at 0.00016583 BTC

was 22,000 sat at ICO, then evidently ICN is now under its BTC ico price

better invest in BTC !!
Most tokens have underperformed BTC over a certain time period at least. However, your investment decisions need to be forward looking, not backward looking.

Where you can find an objective and professional assessment of ICO and other investment opportunities on the alternative investments` market?
There is no such place. If you want data though, icostats is a nice starting place.

so everyone gets less than 1 ethereum?

does not sound to hot.

When everyone got more than 1 ETH you should learn about the dividends distribution method it depend on holding amount.

Dimitri said this on Telegram:

Given the fact that the whole market is down like 60% since December, it is still quite good to receive something.

On the other hand get ready for the dump of TaaS and buy everything up.

Agreed with you something is better than nothing. That is true the whole markets were really bearish and the team did something great to show great performance.

It had to be a tough quarter for sure. These markets seem quite inefficient, when the token pumps up in anticipation of the dividend and then drops thereafter, both much more than the dividend payout itself. Hopefully the holders get used to a non-uniform payout schedule to avoid such ups and down around the dividend date announcement.

is it a good day to buy stratis? I mean I was waiting for the dip but I don’t know. advice me!

You have to consider more than only Stratis. Bitcoin is the real one for now.
You also have consensus meeting soon and of course the Stratis's roadmap  Wink

Everybody expects the Consensus meeting to give crypto upside momentum. I hope that that will be the case.
Eh, that happened the last year since we were in the middle of a massive bull market. Doubt it will repeat
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: May 07, 2018, 08:41:09 PM
I want to know if there is any confirmation about the validity about my investment ,such as a email ?
What? For NEM? Your investment is valid if you hold your private key and no one else does.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: May 07, 2018, 06:33:08 PM
is there a site that counts down on the scheduled release date of the catapult of NEM?
No, there is no such date yet.

can I buy stratis on bittrex exchange? I have all my btc there! Is it safe to withdraw?
Sure you can. Yes it's safer to keep STRAT in your wallet, preferably ledger nano S, than leaving them on any exchange.
Yeah, if you have any significant amount of STRAT, please don't leave that on exchanges. Transfer to your personal wallets. Also, if you have a bunch, you can get PoS rewards which exchanges don't give you.

If you have 25k-30k stratis you can earn about 1 sratis per day if you stake the coins. If you have less than that lets say <10k then just park them in an offline wallet. The best is Ledger Nano S but there are a few other wallets allready available to you eg. tradtitional qt wallet (c++), new full node wallet (c#), Breeze wallet. All of them will be better than an exchange wallet as you own the private key. Just remember to make a backup of your wallet file.
10k is a bit arbitrary though. You can stake at 10k and get 1 strat/2-3 days, so at $8, that's still $3ish a day. Not too shabby really. Plus, you'd be helping secure the network.

Nice find. They could have been a bit more subtle at least!
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: May 06, 2018, 05:23:55 AM

we should have been a little patient
The TAAS team is always at the top in communication
I hope to be surprised by the amount of our dividend in this sad quarter
Just remember to bring down expectations for this quarter given the bear market in crypto.

Traders with no interest in the project itself have to sell, or become a true believer in blitz and hodl. What we're seeing is bittrex day traders acting rationally, and a mega overshoot on the downside price. Just wish I could buy some, my bittrex account has been frozen for months.

Consider starting a new OTC trading thread with some escrow, and link from here. Maybe you can find some people willing to sell you OTC instead of relying on Bittrex.

I would definitely use an OTC thread market but it's not something I would setup myself, and bittrex traders who are dumping will probably dump all they have there in the next day or so, then I expect OTC price would recover back to where it was before, blitz is a coin for long term believers in deep hodl mode.
If you're a long-term holder, you should have no problem getting in on what you consider a 'fire sale'. If not, just means you don't believe in it for the long-term, which is ok I guess Wink

how many shops accept nem for payments? we are the perfect crypto for fast payments, please contact merchants, we're perfect for them
Crypto payments is always going to be tricky business. Until a scale is reached, it is harder for merchants to justify this cost of changing their POS. On the other hand, you can use crypto like NEM when you transact peer to peer in the crypto community.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Panic selling can contribute to bitcoin price going down? on: May 05, 2018, 10:41:19 PM
of course, if everyone panics then automatically the value in the market will go down, it's like a stock or a bank, if many customers make withdrawal or sale simultaneously then of course the bank will suffer huge losses

I agree if a lot of holders of bitcoin will do panic seling  it will surely contribute to a dump of bitcoin price, my advice is all of the holders of bitcoin should just keep and hold there bitcoin until price of bitcoin will became very high in the market.
There's a reason markets exist and you cannot coordinate such actions among unknown parties. Let the market take its course, and over time, the type of people who hold Bitcoin will change.

Stratis Favorite sidechained  Bitz being delisted from Bittrex. Looks like this sleeping dragon will never wake up)

blitz

yeah not looking too good for them now, i think something strange went on with that project anyway.... blitz senior members voted not to have a percentage of stratis for free apparently........ sounds legit

The blitz stratis connection has been well documented and never refuted. The delisting from bittrex is a setback for blitz, but unless Chris is prepared to abandon blitz all together I think the current price drop is a big buy signal, blitz will still continue as the first sidechain of stratis regardless of bittrex listing. If I had access to my bittrex account I would be buying blitz by the handful.

I agree with you, at 90%. The team don't sold any coins, the richlist is still the same and it seems that the 400k BLITZ on the market (dumped by bots and people) already were on bittrex.

But there is still dome doubt remaining, the 10% left: why the sites are also down ?

BLITZ is down to 1.4M market cap, which is +/- == zero in 2018. High risks, high rewards no ? It can be smart to buy some, when there's blood in the street. And, ATM, there's a TON blood in BLITZ's street Tongue
Personally i sold some STRAT to buy more BLITZ.

Moonboy here speaking: Patience is key and I'm sure other initial believers in crypto will tell you the same, it's not so much the profits (it's really nice side effect though  Cool ) but more of what these coins can do for society.

Get in now or get in later, either way the train doesn't seem to be stopping. Sure a few rest stops along the way, but it's still going.
Long-term is key especially with the good crypto-assets. This is mostly because the downturns can be severe and will test your patience.

Stop selling, you lose your future profit

It's a free market, you cannot prevent anyone from selling. If you believe in STRAT's future, just pick up these orders Wink

The ICO platform on Microsoft Azure is going live next 9th of May

https://twitter.com/stratisplatform/status/991363757514346496
That's nice. Would be interested to see how much it gets used over the coming months. I still remain more excited about the TumbleBit/Masternode launch.

if a token like EOS can reach 15billion MC, while their token does absolutely nothing, we should be able to reach that marketcap easily
The EOS network isn't live yet. Once it is, it will be a direct competitor of Stratis, sure.

Yeah, there was a weird alternation between a huge sell wall and a huge buy wall. I'm curious to see for how long this will keep going on.
Anyway buy/sell walls sizes are pretty much similar, it looks like it's the work of one person but this is only my opinion.

What is happening is pretty obvious to me.
Which exchange?

XEM will hit 2.2 dollars when btc hit 14.000 dollar Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink
I don't see any significant correlation between Bitcoin and XEM price. Why did you predict that XEM will hit $2.2 when Bitcoin hit $14k.?

Well there is a easy correlation. When Bitcoin pumps, XEM pumps, too. If Bitcoin falls, XEM falls, too. If you compare both charts you can see this. Usually XEM pumps and falls more than Bitcoin but there is a clear correlation.
It is almost never correlated this way. There are periods when the correlation is positive and periods when the correlation is negative. There are periods when the correlation is near 0.
