I'm thinking of organizing a group buy. I'v been in contact with the manufacture. The only hard thing about escrow when doing group buys is that the manufactures need payment in full, so escrow is hard to do unless the person organizing the group buy is made of $100k +
i can't argue with that but a lot of people here are willing to pay upfront (just check out the scam accusation section as proof lol) so i guess it wouldn't mean that the organiser would have to pay the full thing upfront or even just going something like paypal |

IMO this, more than anything else! is evidence of why BTC will fail. Here we have a situation where there is a known thief and the money he stole is able to be traced and still there is nothing that can be done to return it to its rightful owners. Gee if only there was some kind of centralized management of this stuff maybe the poor souls (me included) could get back their funds from this low life. actually this is not the downfall of bitcoin. the failure is in you'reself not checking out the scammer more clearly. the telltale signs we're all there 1) selling the item cheaper than anyone else 2) refusing escrow 3) refusing paypal 4) full of newbies with low post counts 5) no senior's with prroof of receipt 6) self moderated thread with deleted posts 7) negative trust rating 8 no pictures/video's from the seller themselves How many more signs did you need? If you can't be bothered to research then the fault lies on you. You sent the coins without checking out who he is, so its you're fault that you got scammed. |

...hmm and we should take this from someone whos' trust rating is "-4 Trade with extreme caution"... Actually that is a legitimate issue. HBN was also banned from rizon irc, as Tranz can confirm. infact they banned all bitcoin style clients. so if adt or col is somehow using rizon then they will have the same issue. |

just to point out^ that technically isnt true. you will be mining either digitalcoin, potcoin or catcoin. and getting huntercoin, pesetacoin and united scrypt coin (of which perhaps only huntercoin will get on an exchange as the others are pretty much stuck at high diff and offer no advantages over coins like dgc)

I saw your posts ahmed, pity they were deleted so quick. Never ceases to amaze me how this same perpetual gang of scammers can operate so easily on here. But when you see it's so easy to steal 80 BTC or about $50k, no wonder some sad b*startds think why should I get a job? i know. and i definitly agree with you. thats why im so wary about buying anything from anyone on here without escrow. when he refused both that and paypal alarm bells started ringing. and then the real blow came when he deleted both and mine and barwizi's posts. |
