7661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to put the tokens on the exchange? on: April 21, 2018, 04:38:02 PM
Guys is it safe to just put the purchased tokens on the exchange? cause i dont have a wallet in my android app. is it possible that it will be stolen? and claimed to be hacked? Am i doing the right way? Please can anyone help me. Thanks in advance.
Never ever leave your coins on idle on a certain exchanger unless if you are actively trading them then putting them on exchanger would be an advantage since you can able to make fast trades since the tokens are just on the wallet but if you bought a coin and tending to hold for long term then it would be much better to store it on a wallet on where you do posses its private keys. Each coins do have its own platform been used and it do really have an specific wallet or storage.
7662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: April 20, 2018, 10:41:17 PM
Any predictions about FIFA World Cup 2018?

Who might get the 2018’s World Cup?

Can anyone successfully predict it?

I will pick brazil because I think this time they have lots of quality players like Neymar,Jesus,D costa, Marcelo etc.The most important thing is this time brazil have young talents with experienced players like Marcelo,Dani Alves, T Silva.Brazil also showed very good performance on World Cup selection and friendly matches. So overall, I believe Neymar will lift the WC trophy this time for Brazil.
Neymar,Jesus,D costa, Marcelo which you had mentioned on this line up.I would really have a confidence and how much more with the add up of other members which are really good and do have the skills yet they do have already the experience. Germany for now is the most favorite but i do see the potential of this team for FIFA. There are still some other selections but my bet was on this team.
7663  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Profit Token Backed By Gold & Silver Secure Trading PROFIT.co.uk on: April 20, 2018, 10:13:28 PM
Ohh! Another Gold backed coin/project.

Checking out do have 21 Million total supply which is quiet good but i would like to ask on whats the advantage of this one compared to Xaurum?
Been seen also another project which do have same concept. Gold Mining Asset|Digitizing Gold Assets: Crypto-Based Gold Token

By the way goodluck to your project.
7664  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SO DISAPOINTED ABOUT HUOBI EXCHANGE on: April 20, 2018, 09:49:26 PM
Deal with it. It's your fault for being careless in the first place. They'd have to waste precious manpower to recover your funds manually. Nexttime spend an extra few seconds to doublecheck when trying to deposit funds. You're actually lucky you only lost $20; you could've potentially lost more amounts.
Was supposed to say the same thing. They are now blaming the exchange because they dont like the fee? On the first place its his own carelessness is the reason why he do face such problem. It does only need commonsense for you to forget those $20 amount rather than on paying up 2 ETH. Who will be the dumb person who would do such thing? Next time it doesnt really cost you a leg on checking and securing out transactions to avoid such mistakes.
7665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you think about support in crypto casinos? on: April 20, 2018, 09:25:37 PM
I wonder what people has to say about support in crypto related casinos? Do you have any experience, are you satisfied? What you think where support is the best, and where is the worst?
Maybe I will add pool later if there is enough comments and suggestions. Please stick to the topic with your comments, lets make nice discussion about this matter.
I do not think anything about them, I just contact support if I have a problem on their website and do not question about crypto to them, even though that website uses crypto to gamble.
Same here, which i dont really mind on questioning them about those unnecessary stuffs since we do know on what is their purpose on such gambling/casino site which is to cater and support players with do have issues.Based on my experienced there are casinos online which do have responsive supports but i would day high percentage of them do really have mediocre responses.
7666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO rating sites on: April 20, 2018, 09:07:18 PM
Good day, about ico rating/listing sites, are they legit? do they evaluate truthfully? do they really have have experts? or they rate an ICO depending on their payment to them?  Sad
Ive been following up ICOrating and ICObench when it comes to particular projects.I would say its not really reliable to follow anytime those ratings because some of them are just paid and biased on where its really risky if you do rely your investment decisions towards those reviews.Im not saying it is fake but it is somehow bias on my part which means in the end decisions would be made would be based on what you had read up and understand on what kind of project do really have a spark for future.
7667  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Knowing your tax liability on: April 20, 2018, 08:50:10 PM
It seems to me that the more popular the topic will be how to avoid paying taxes. Why do people voluntarily agree to pay taxes on the use of cryptocurrencies? In order to pay taxes, the government must provide full support to users. We can't see. That's why I don't feel obligated to pay taxes.

Not all countries require you to pay taxes on your crypto trades. Most of them want to have a percentage of your crypto to fiat trades, but crypto to crypto transactions are outside their interest and jurisdiction. Personally, I will not voluntarily disclose my crypto addresses to government institutions and I won't share any information regarding my cryptocurrency transfers. I'm also against taxes in general, but I'm not going to go to war with a bully that is much stronger than me. That's why if you trade for fiat and your country demands taxes it's either pay up or change the country.
My view about tax is really just an obligation which it isnt really should comes to a point on where we do against it since we do know that it do really help a certain countries economy for it to progress.Im a tax payer but would only be deducted to my day stable job.For now cryptocurrency things like exchange coins to fiat doesnt still have any tax being implemented. For some countries you are liable to have deductions but im sure sooner or later government would really have such act.
7668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 19, 2018, 10:45:30 PM
^  It's the agents bloating the market.  And the funny thing is these same agents represent some managers and players under the same agency.  Like Mou and Pogba...  They're both represented by some super agent who has clout afaik.

And I think Zaha will only become the best player he can be under Pep.

Zaha has all the physical attributes to be a top player, pace, trickery, strength. I dunno if he has a football brain though, he seems a bit dumb. Makes the wrong choice too often. Maybe he’ll be much better with better players around him.
yes he should play in a better club with better teamates and should be guided by a better manager. He is actually good, but he plays in a club that often loses, so sometimes he does not have time to take out his skills. If there is a big club that wants his services, he should take it.

This should be considered, a certain player wont able to pull out his total potential if the club and team mates do have problems when it comes to performance. Your skills wont be utilized as well but if he would be transitioned into bigger club or do have offer then its not really bad to get that opportunity. Im seeing the market is way too crazy when it comes to prices. Shocked
7669  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beware of Binance!! on: April 19, 2018, 09:44:11 PM

I can't log in to my account because Binance is not sending SMS.

Receiving SMS both depends on Binance and also your operator. I have had loads of issue receiving international sms for verification when I used a certain operator in my country, but that problem disappeared when I just port my number to another operator. It is not wise to use SMS authentication when you already have other great options like Google Authentication 2FA. I suggest waiting it out to receive a reply to your support ticket - it might take a while considering that Binance is a very rapidly growing exchange.

SMS verification is somehow convenient on my part and im sure most people would refer this thing rather than on Google ones. Binance exchange do works fine for me but other users do have these kind of issues. Waiting up for a word came from them related to this problem.

@ jhenfelipe   I am still not receiving sms.

@Guvn0r  I did receive a reply from binance to my ticket... they want me to reset my sms... They are giving me no other option, and that piss me off, because I KNOW the bug is in their end, but the solution is that I do something I just detest (reset sms)... Binance really sucks!! I heard the web site was blinking in Florida...

@Agam dahlian  I don't  know what do you mean with screenshot... I can't log in to my account do you want a screenshot of what? And yes... I had the sms enable because I was using it everyday 'till yesterday!!
You do say binance do suck because of their buggy SMS verification? I dont think so yet i dont have any problems on SMS codes maybe this would be an operator/mobile network issue? because it do work fine for me and i do make use of SMS than on Google 2fa.
7670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So many Bounty/ Airdrop, I don't know what to join in? on: April 19, 2018, 09:08:17 PM
There are many new Bounty/Airdrop program per day. Almost all ICO has bounty program
I am quite confused what project to join? how to choose the best one? (because we can join only 1 bounty at the same time)
What is your opinion?

I feel the same when I'm still new. After spending some months here in this forum, I discovered that reputable managers often get good bounties with huge rewards and I wish I knew it before joining my current bounty.
Not all the times yet even those reputable managers do handle out projects doesnt mean they do succeed anytime but somehow  chances are high for succeeding rather than on failing out.The thing here is that if you are a bounty hunter then expect there would be lots of participants yet other people or hunters do already aware or do have the same mindset of yours which they do really targeting reputable managers yet they can somehow assure theirselves that they would be paid off.
But atleast joining those campaigns handle by good managers do have some chances for high success at the end of the sale.Ive been seeing such scenario where projects being handle by them do succeed in the end and as a bounty hunter that will really be an advantage into your side.Confusion is there on where we would join up because seeing the entire market its flooded with new ICO every now and then which will give doubts and headache on which one we would join.
7671  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshiround.com - The Bitcoin lottery! Only 0.001 x ticket on: April 19, 2018, 08:34:31 PM
Price of each ticket is not high if you consider that with every ticket you have the chance to win those of the others.
A few minutes of slot machines is certainly more expensive! here each lottery is 99 minutes in which you have the opportunity to place more bets based on the progress of the game.
Better than a scratch & win 3.0!  Wink
If a round ends with a single player, the round is repeated. No bets will be lost!

sure you can see it like this but IMO it is very high for the start. my tip for you is to start with small ticket price and later to offer also higher prices for tickets.

you cant compare slots or scratch with lottery

what will you take from a draw?

just trying to help

good luck

edit

in general a lottery should offer low ticket price and high winnings as it is in real lotteries
Ive trying to spot out the deductions or HE for which i have observed he do gets 10k sats out of 100k sat bet amount which is 10% on each bet which is considered high and same as you said the bet amount was too expensive which it should be ideal if you make it lesser for people to get some interest but well having these kind of lottery games will surely failed up in the end. Not to be rude but most of the time this is what actually happens.
7672  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Stolen bitcoins (blockchain.info) on: April 19, 2018, 08:07:21 PM
At this forum is a representative of this service (blockchain.info)?
This is their ANN thread Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics

But the OP of it has been inactive in the forum since 2015 so the only way to keep on conversing with them is through their support / ticket.

I ask them to help me find the one who carried out this transfer. I want to ask him to give me back the coins and to know how it had happened. But the service does not provide any information.
They won't know on who's the one responsible for stealing your bitcoin and we all know the attitude of a robber, they won't return something that they've stolen.
its already useless to have these kind of steps or trying out to contact those persons, even if you do make emails or on support thing they wont really do anything at all yet they dont have the capability on such recovery and as already being said to their terms you would really know that they are not held responsible if theres such loss because it would be entirely on wallet holders responsibility on handling his own funds.
7673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $8,000 worth ETH stolen on: April 19, 2018, 07:24:03 PM
Maybe you have entered your private key in a phishing website.
You can't identify the hacker only with that address. It seems that the account was new and created solely for that purpose (storage of stolen tokens/Eth). There's no outgoing transaction as of yet and the address continue to receive tokens.

What I noticed was most tokens received were limited to Utrust, PHI, STP, SPA, SDE, TKT, ebit, COPYTRACK, Transmission, GlobCoin Crypto Platform. Does one of these tokens send you an email or let you fill out something connected to your wallet? If yes, that might be the cause.
This is the only possible case that i think off on where he might entered his keys on a phishing site or do have an infected computer which do have keylogger or malware that do accumulates important wallet informations being stored up into your pc.There are lots of ways on how your keys would be exposed or compromised. I have seen such address it does still continue to have incoming transactions to the persons or wallet addresses that have been hacked. There no way to retrieve those coins when the transactions is already been done.Sorry for your loss.
7674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere? on: April 18, 2018, 11:33:34 PM
It's not a negative way of earning , gambling is more like a easy sort of way for making quick cash and the chances of making that is possible but the problem is within the people who use this method , most of them do make profit but because of there greed they continue to gamble and lose it all. This is why many consider it to be negative otherwise there are many ways to make money from gambling
Yes.Though gambling is considered legal in most of the countries, the thought that it's a negative way of earning money remains.Gambling may be good at first especially if you had won the game and make a quick profit, but when you become addicted to it,the outcomes are most likely negative. They cannot control their emotions already so they tempt to do such negative things just to sustain their vices. And in the long run, they will live into desperation and frustration that will definitely ruin their lives.
The sure thing on here is that it only depends on people or a gambler on how he handle himself in regards on engaging himself in gambling. It isnt bad to play gambling as long we are responsible and do know on what we are doing but eventually this is the thing on where almost people do fail to follow. When it comes to negativity i do believe it is already being part of gambling which it will be attached always or do somehow to be a traditional belief that cant really be removed into peoples minds.
7675  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: It is NOT secure to use hardware wallets (and it never was) on: April 18, 2018, 11:17:40 PM
So if hardware wallets are not safe then it is kinda useless to invest in one right now? If the point of this article is to make people aware of the dangers of using hardware wallets it just made them insecure. If the article is correct any retailer or seller (or even one of their employees) of  a hardware wallet can install a custom firmware before they even put it up to the shelves, yes I know they have stickers and security seals on their boxes but all of it can be easily tampered by a professional.

Maybe hardware wallet makers need to take it on to the next level of security like having a software where it can detect if your hardware wallets are compromised or not. In this way even if they had accessed your wallet you will know if your wallet was touched or not. But in my own personal opinion I would still want a hardware wallet where it is not always connected to the internet or to my desktop, my Bitcoin is more vulnerable out there.
When you are really aware on the risk  of it then you should proceed with caution. We do know issues is already showed up and as a sensible token hodler you will eventually avoid it at all cost. Re-sellers of such wallet can possibly re-packed it and install any software which would compromise or exposed the keys.We have seen such problems thats why i decide to buy in the company itself but still i do have always the doubts that they do have those seeds yet they are the ones who do create and do the packaging.

On the thing being said above, the thing being created by someone can really be possibly be cracked or exploit some flaws by other person anytime.
7676  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance 2FA SMS codes not being sent on: April 18, 2018, 10:56:25 PM
Well today I am locked out of Binance... no SMS for me ... I just cannot believe this is happening. Opened 2 tickets already... sent all info of my celphone number, etc... even sent a twitter to binance and  dm them... no reply...
Looks like many people are having the same issue.

Look at this post https://www.reddit.com/r/BinanceExchange/comments/82g2kb/binance_stopped_sending_the_authentication_sms/

I think this issue still persist and still not solve by binance.

That is why they are not replying it's because they are busy reading customers issue.

The only thing that you can do now is to wait until they disable the sms 2fa because there are many binance users are couldn't login with sms 2fa.

Just keep message their support to inform them about your issue to include your account in disabling 2fa or switch to google authenticator.
They havent given or say a word related to this issue which same as you said maybe they are busy either on reading up and at the same time on resolving such 2fa sms issue. So far on using up binance i dont have any problem with the codes.Just make it sure that you had inputted the right number and your phone should have signal so that you would able to recieve codes but since the issue is already rampant then the problem is already on their side which all we can do is to wait up for them to fix it.
7677  Economy / Gambling / Re: Diceum.com | Faucet | Invest | Affiliates | 10+ currencies on: April 18, 2018, 10:24:17 PM
There is just too many red flags here.

For one like the above poster suspected they are faking their stats. Which is very unethical.

Secondly it's a brand new account on Bitcointalk without any trust.

Third when asked to provide proof of funds the question was ignored.

These sites pop up from time to time. They are either legitamite but due to lack of sufficient bankroll they run out of BTC after some whale cleans them out or they are just scams from the very beginning. They pay certain people who make small withdraws but if someone sends over a large amount like > BTC the site will go out of business. Rebrand and reopen again.
If those questions or request havent been answered or being neglected then its already a shady part of them which i wont really easily entrust to make deposits.Faking stats is very unethical, brand new account- might be considerable but most of the time its untrusted and the last is bankroll which for a gambler these questions are common and should be answered do removed the doubts of people towards the site.

Talking on the design, its way too generic and i dont think so that they are the ones who able to make that slider? I have seen lots already.
7678  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Poloniex continues to fucking suck, despite Circle buying them (20 day withdraw) on: April 18, 2018, 10:07:10 PM
Finally a response:

"Hi __,

We are sorry that our product and service has not met your expectations.

As a result, we are acknowledging this correspondence as a formal complaint. For your records, this will be filed as Complaint #794250. I have escalated this to a manager so we can properly address your complaint. You can expect a follow up here within 10 business days.

Best,
Poloniex Support Team "

So did you receive your withdrawal yet?

It would be quite funny if you haven't received any coins yet, which I think is the case. Support's first message back at you was telling you to wait some more before they resolve the issue. And that's coming 20 days late. What a joke.

According to https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/, poloniex's volume is 16th out of all exchanges. That used to be #1. I guess it shows that their incompetence on the support end is driving a lot of whales away as well. I'm certainly not using them to exchange anymore, it's way too risky.
Checking out the recent update of OP, he havent still able to receive nothing.
Checking out again the message or the reply its being said its an another 10 business days of waiting which do really suck.

I would not be surprised that one day they would really go to the bottom on all exchangers when it comes to volume. People now are leaving due to their poor handling. How sad to see a top tier exchange would come into this.
7679  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duck Dice Affiliate Program on: April 18, 2018, 09:51:50 PM
In general, if you put "duckdice scam" into google it is the third entry.

Here is an affiliate claiming of being scammed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3206026.0

How are you doing with promoting the publicly proven duckdice scam?

That I know nothing about. To be fair you can type the name of just about any online casino and include the word scam and there will be something about it. As a general rule I don't gamble because of the risk in sites not being fair, so I can only speak to the affiliate program. I have read that thread and thought I commented on how I wish I could see my affiliate's gambling stats on DuckDice like I can with Bitsler. It would definitely help with having full transparency.

My question was just to focus on their affiliate program and if anyone has had a lot of success or none at all. Thank you for bringing the other thread to my attention though. We should look out for each other and that is how I've taken it.

Edit: Okay now I see by your profile name what that was all about. Lol. Thanks again!
Why would care too much if their affiliate program is working or not.? Since they do already have that negative reputation in the market.Would you still decide to promote them? You can really be sure that you arent gonna paid no matter what and now all things clear up to you its much better to lock up this thread.
7680  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Overwhelmed? on: April 17, 2018, 11:44:48 PM
While I completely agree with what TryNinja said, I very much doubt that Poloniex is experiencing an influx of new users -- this exchange is only going backwards with its volumes, and everything points at an outflow of users instead of the opposite. Less volume means less usage, which should be an important and decisive indicator. Binance is swallowing the far majority of the users, followed up by Bittrex, which opened its registrations very recently. If this downfall of Poloniex continues, and I have no reason to think otherwise, they will be covered under a thick layer of other exchanges doing better business. Feel sorry for Poloniex though.

24 hour volumes.

Poloniex 6400 BTC
Bittrex 70,000 BTC
Binance 200,000 BTC

Sure, Verge is pushing some serious volumes, but even without Verge, Poloniex heavily lags behind, and that for months straight, and only falls further.
Thanks for the shared up about those volumes, yet i wasnt aware that they are handling too much with that transaction on 24 hour duration which its clearly seen that Binance do handling out enormous volume which we can say they are really capable on handling such users without any problems and its normal to think on that sooner or later lots of exchanges would able to cover poloniex in terms of service but well we wont know if they would able to make a comeback once they do open and do improve their site once again.
