781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 23, 2020, 11:51:45 AM
How will it continue, without spectators?
There are ongoing talks in regards to allowing "only home fans" attending matches with 20-30% of the stadium's capacity starting October 3 [source]...
- Looks like home advantage will get a significant boost this season.

Why not have 10% home and 10% away or something?

Seems fairer. I guess its the traveling they don't like.

Don't they know all Man United fans live in China.  lol

784  Economy / Gambling / Re: #3 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: August 21, 2020, 07:49:44 AM
For those who managed to qualify for the grand finale, it appears that SwC have finally registered us all.

I hope everyone is ready and focused, cya all on Sunday and good luck, it should be a great ending to a fantastic #3 series. It's game on!!!  Wink

Correct - I heard back yesterday finally and we are all set for the Grand Finale! Smiley

SwC also confirmed we will have a 10K Losers Finale running at the same time - this one will most likely be password-protected but I will post an update as soon as I know more!

@Trofo LOL... I seriously messed up and forgot - home in an hour or two (consulting a rl friend now) and will send, lol. No Balkan Mafia pleaseeeeeeeeeee!  Cheesy Wink

haha stop showing off you have RL friends.

Great news on the "runners up" final. We are not loosers :p      (Wink)

Going to put pedal to metal to be there.

How did you know I got it from Amazon?

786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 21, 2020, 07:37:01 AM
I called some games right against the favourite yesterday but  they got taken out by other losses.

Here is what I have got for today. Bit of Dota and a bit of SCGO

Good luck guys

787  Economy / Gambling / Re: #3 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: August 21, 2020, 07:19:11 AM
Now we are all friends and playing together I don't think the platform matters so much.

We will find something appropriate. Be it SwC or other. All good.

Good luck for the final everyone, I am away the weekend but Ill try to make it back to watch.

Cant talk yet but over 100 krill now     Cheesy

788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 20, 2020, 11:24:09 PM
Juicy. Clear RSI unlike current bitcoin chart.

Going good

789  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: August 20, 2020, 11:18:19 PM
I see what you guys are saying.

More resistance. People selling because they said they will if it gets back over 12?

790  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 20, 2020, 08:59:33 AM
Is it pride?
791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 20, 2020, 07:25:20 AM
Lots of groan for you there guys.

I was thinking about the form thing. When we are watching these games then report back here. Maybe we can collect some info like "didn't turn up" "unreliable" "frequent overtime"

Ill give it a little think, I may collect in some ideas and publish it in 1.

Here is my picks for today.

792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 19, 2020, 12:42:54 PM
I backed Nordavind against Avez.

Watching that now pretty smug cos Avez lost me last few times. But its 1 all now since Nordavind just couldn't close it out at 2:0.

2 overtimes in a row so far.

Im still not really feeling Avez, Im betting against them until I see better.
793  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: August 19, 2020, 10:32:41 AM
Was this the right thread for discussing hands? Let me know if I need to move it.

I want to ask about when to cut on an open ended straight. 1 card to go and I haven't hit it yet. there are a few outs but do I cut here and stop wasting money?

Imaginary hand    10c  9c                Table: Jd 3h 8h    Next: 5s

By now each round is costing money

What do people think?

I mean on a deeper level. Should I even be playing for straights at all? or are they just extra possibilities I should keep as a plan B ? Obv unless it flops.

*edit* 98.1 Krill      Cool      */edit*
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 19, 2020, 10:23:37 AM
I think 008 is looming.

Look at the dollar chart, holding well and waiting to see what to do.

795  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: August 19, 2020, 10:00:05 AM
We have now pushed the resistance up a little bit. That's good.

Is there a channel here? Always until it breaks I suppose

796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 19, 2020, 07:43:38 AM
I have scaled it back today, lots of smaller ones back to winning please.

Oh yeah who said my parlays are hard to follow if they won or not?  Ill have a think about a better way to show it or a summary view or something.
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 18, 2020, 06:02:07 PM
I went 10£ up to £60 but dipping now around £30 cos a few bad days.

Some days I leap forward 10 or 20 other days are pain. (Avez cost me 3 parlays yesterday. The commentators were stunned)

Here I just placed this. Watching games and betting the opposite then add a few sure's. Seems to work for me.

798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 18, 2020, 12:43:02 PM
Avez lost me about 30 quid yesterday, 13.50 on 1 parlay. Damn. Think I be skipping them they looked awful again this morning (lost more)

Heres my mash up for today so far. Cant help myself.

799  Economy / Gambling / Re: #3 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: August 18, 2020, 12:38:51 PM
I think don't bust your balls over the loser tournament.

If it happens it will be great, but we will all live without it if it does not.

No hard feelings from us. Thanks for trying.

800  Economy / Gambling / Re: #3 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: August 17, 2020, 10:54:27 AM
Received and thanks again for that.

Fingers crossed for 500 krill before the next one *gulp* (66.23 no chance lol)

Good luck my man! Play 25/50 and win that BBJ! Smiley

I saw the hands combination the other day but in the wrong room.

The problem with those tables for me was rebuy was far too easy. Click click I spent half the tournament money in an afternoon.   Smiley

I also just joined poker stars and I was playing grand tour. But again I get my ass handed to me a lot   hehe
