781  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paxful customer support doesn't respond on: June 09, 2020, 02:20:24 PM
They knew that you will come back, that's why they didn't delete your account. Kidding  Grin
I don't know if you can get someone in telegram group to solve your issue, you can try- @paxful_usa_community
They are paxful peers but you can have some suggestions from them.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH better than BTC for payment? on: June 09, 2020, 02:00:34 PM
You can't compare fee and speed both at once. Fee is certainly high for BTC and will be high forever as long as you are doing on chain tx. ETH still have more tx pending than BTC I think. If BTC had such pending tx, I think fee would be crazy high.

For larger amounts I just use BTC and for smaller payments I use Bitcoin Cash BCH.
As jackg said, it's thousand times better to use Litecoin if you somehow want to use an altcoin. Bitcoin Cash is totally a centralized shit.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] 🧅 Popular Privacy Cryptocurrency with Real Use Cases 🧅See DeepOnion on: June 09, 2020, 01:42:42 PM
I think it would be highly advantageous to develop a relationship with the torproject.org team.

Yes,We need more effort
We need set team to conduct such activities and a clear roadmap/goal to acquire set of objectives. None of them right now exist in the system. Team should hire some marketing professional.
On a side note, Zcash and Dash can be traced or so, through Chainalysis- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5254231.0
Isn't it the good time for us to be more promoted since Zcash users might switch? Looking for opinions.
784  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Beginner's guideline to Bitcoin Lightning Network on: June 08, 2020, 02:07:28 PM
Bob open a 1BTC channel with Alice and send her 0.5BTC. If Alice wants to send Bob 0.5BTC may she uses the same channel or it is just onedirection channel  and she has to open another channel which is in direction Alice->Bob and use this for paying Bob.
What you need to understand is that LN is a kind of settlement. So, yes. Alice can send Bob and vice versa with one channel. But there are some sort of restrictions on receiving fund. If you have started a channel with 1 BTC, as long as you don't send any fund, you can't receive any too. You can only receive fund as the same amount which you sent although it can be increased in some way.
785  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ID for buying bitcoin on: June 08, 2020, 02:00:38 PM
Almost all the centralized exchanges more or less require same sort of KYC to buy BTC with cards. You would rather try localcryptos, it doesn't require any KYC. Or you can try with purchasing BTC with Paypal, PM and some other options from Bestchange. However, it also requires KYC sometimes.
If you have balance with paypal, PM etc, you can try the currency exchange subboard of this forum.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ninety nine percent of new projects are money grabbers on: June 08, 2020, 01:53:57 PM
You would rather say 99.99% of new projects are scam and they don't come with even a good idea. But a lot of poor investors rush to invest on such project although these days the investors are getting smart. It's always better to stay away from altcoin because there are many ways of scam too.
787  Economy / Reputation / Re: Another Milestone: My 10,000th Post on: June 08, 2020, 01:38:37 PM
You have joined here ~1120 days ago which means almost ~9 posts per day. That's huge. Can you share how many days/hours you have spent on the forum so far according to the total logged in time?
788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pablo Escobar and Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto on: June 08, 2020, 07:52:26 AM
It's a total bullshit.
789  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is www.thedashtrade.com legit? on: June 08, 2020, 07:50:35 AM
If it doesn't appear in google search, how did you come across to it? Mmmm, sounds like you are trying to promote this with your noob attitude.
Anyway, if you are not playing promotion games here, I suggest you not to use any site which has no good background, which is not here for a long time. Always do enough research before jumping into anything.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: June 07, 2020, 02:46:24 PM
I don't think ICO will have a come back regardless of how useful project they come up with. Because people has lost both trust and interest from ICO because of the scammy nature and now it will be very hard for ICO to rause money. I think with IEO some project may get success if they have enough potential.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] 🧅 Popular Privacy Cryptocurrency with Real Use Cases 🧅See DeepOnion on: June 07, 2020, 02:10:43 PM
Yes. It is bitcointalk. But why do you don't talk with us?
Here are some users who have recently written constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement. What do you think about responding to them?
+1 and same question. Why no DEV team member engage with discussion here?

It seems like this thread is always on the main page. Why is this not in the top 100 at CMC?
Because the marketcap isn't on top 100  Grin Kidding mate. It's because DeepOnion is these days a dead project with no much investor left due to some reason which you can find couple of page earlier.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deposit alerts notification on: June 07, 2020, 02:03:32 PM
I can't remember the telegram bot at the moment which I used long ago to monitor one of my addresses. You can check it by searching relevant username and you may find it. Or you can write a modified bot with telegram. That's not a hard job at all as far as I know.
793  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do not close a dispute until refunded (Paypal) on: June 07, 2020, 01:49:51 PM
Whoever do trade with paypal must have known the dispute policy of paypal. May be that guy is new with paypal or didn't know about the dispute policy at all. Seller's behavior itself was scammy. It has been happening for a long time.
794  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ian Coleman BIP39 / Derive P2SH addresses from Electrum generated Seed on: June 07, 2020, 01:33:00 PM
To generate p2sh-segwit, you can follow the simple trick with Electrum.
1. Install Electrum.
2. Generate Seed.
3. When you verify seed, click on option and mark the box with bip39
4. It will warn you as not valid but will allow you to proceed.
5. Enjoy p2sh-segwit.

795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we know what is the biggest time difference between blocks? (Since 2009) on: June 06, 2020, 02:07:23 PM
Interesting, I never knew that the gap was 1 day between two blocks. What was the reason? Can someone explore more into this?

Making threads are fine but some people don't like it (me included) if you create a new thread when the answer to your topic is easy to find on the internet. It would be a different case if you create 10 interesting topics.
I don't say all of his threads are good. But this one is interesting. Moreover, creatung threads bring a lot of information which can be helpful to others and can be new information too. I was not aware of this, just learnt that we had long delayed between two blocks. So, it's worthy to create discussion in my opinion.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Stickers on: June 06, 2020, 01:57:42 PM
Is it possible to have modified stickers? Say for example, I want stickers of the logo of Bitcoin, Monero, Litecoin and DeepOnion? If so how much would I have to pay for the modified stickers? No problem if you have stickers set, I would purchase one sticker book including the mentioned above.
797  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending Bitcoin from legacy address to segwit address? on: June 06, 2020, 01:48:48 PM
I've never heard about nested SegWit addresses.
Nested segwit address = addresses which start with "3"
When you generate seed key and want to verify, check the option and put mark on bip39 to generate nested segwit addresses.
798  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: STATIC btc address on: June 06, 2020, 01:36:08 PM
how to run it offline
Download this- https://github.com/cantonbecker/bitcoinpaperwallet
Transfer the file into a offline computer through usb. Extract the file and run it. Generate priv key now. That's it. Save the private key and either don't connect the pc online or install new OS.
I think that's the best way. Learn more here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5190702
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mixing blockchain help! on: June 06, 2020, 08:54:53 AM
I sent bitcoins from Coinbase to ultramixer
Don't do this ever. Coinbase is a centralized service and they might be against such mixing activity. They may close your account anytime if they find anything suspicious, you are of course suspicious since you are sedning BTC to mixer (No offense). So, better you use Electrum.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] DeepOnion 🧅 Modern Privacy with Real Use Cases 🧅 DeepOnion News on: June 06, 2020, 08:35:08 AM
I want to know why you care about onion, but don’t participate in the activities organized by the development team
Very first reason, I have invested a lot in DeepOnion. Not saying I have lost huge amount. Well the investment was a part of my gain from both DeepOnion airdrop and my investment at the beginning. I was able to sell around ATH with a significant profit however, I had invested again later.
I do a lot of promotional stuff for DeepOnion which I think a lot of people don't do. For example, whenever I get chance to talk about Deepvault, I don't miss the chance. You can check the thread related to blockchain notary, I'm sure you will find me almost all of the recent threads.
I tried to get DeepOnion as one f the payment system in couple of businesses but you know that's not possible and I was failed.
I don't participate in the activities organized by the DEV team because in my eyes, they will not bring any good for the project. If there are something I think will affect DeepOniom, I try my best to particpate in the event.
