81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: June 26, 2017, 11:26:06 PM
SCAM ALERT!

Ridik007 might be a scammer, his "link" redirects you to a different site and to a different Ethereum address

If it's different then he IS a scammer I'd say
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So, how bad are the issues with the Ethereum blockchain on: June 21, 2017, 03:24:37 PM
Poloniex seems to have problems now. I deposited a large amount of Ether (so I could sell them of course) and the transaction has gone through the blockchain but did not appear in Poloniex. It seems to have just vanished.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CVC] CIVIC Tokensale :: 21 June on: June 21, 2017, 10:51:34 AM
what do you guys mean that they can't be traded?
exactly. can't be traded. we're buying it for future purchasing their services

How can you technically avoid the use of a ERC-20 token for trading purposes?
I think they are only explaining that "trading is not the scope" that is very different from "you can't trade CVC"

Ofc you can send me your tokens and i will send you some btc/eth for it.
But the thing is that CVC will not be listed on exchanges. Prety sure that 80 % is not aware of this.

I don't think they said it wont be listed. Maybe you are misinterpreting what they said?

The legal jargon can be confusing
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RLC] iEx.ec blockchain-based distributed cloud announces its Crowdsale on: June 21, 2017, 09:23:15 AM
I don't know what is keeping the price down, just look at the recent run of some projects and you wonder want is kkeping the price down, but when RLC starts flying, it will fly very high

Some people are only interested in trading and making money, so they push the price down and buy when people dump, etc etc..
This will end

Yes. I was buying Siacoin at 4 and 5 sats. Eventually people woke up. I've been buying RLC too.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Civic ICO...how to purchase on: June 21, 2017, 05:18:28 AM
Ok, I think I worked it out Smiley
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Civic ICO...how to purchase on: June 21, 2017, 04:58:00 AM
So I registered for the ICO. Scanned the code received my verification codes.

But the term and conditions says,,,https://tokensale.civic.com/CrowdsaleTerms.pdf

Quote
After logging into the Crowdsale portal via the Civic App and scanning your QR code, you will
be prompted to select a Purchase Tier.

Does the "prompting" happen once the crowdsale starts?

It is a little unclear as I have already scanned the code.  Huh
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [STRATIS] Should I invest on: June 21, 2017, 03:17:37 AM
Stratis has been a great example of the power of a trend. We have seen many bear rallies but the downtrend re asserts itself time and time again.

I think there are bots that are programmed to sell any rally until it truly changes

91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: June 19, 2017, 10:15:23 AM
I am seeking a bitcoin mixer, and Stratis will offer it to us, cool.   Grin  I love Tumblebit feature.

Aren't bitcoin mixer mostly used for illegal activities?
Stratis wants to offer private transactions to businesses.
Businesses need privacy
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: June 19, 2017, 10:13:22 AM

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Be 100% Honest on: June 18, 2017, 08:46:09 PM
What is the best and safest ICO to invest in right now?

You are advertising it, friend
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People who call altcoins a scam! on: June 18, 2017, 08:44:29 PM
Caution in investment is simply a must.
True, but you need to know when to take risks too. This market has been so hot that you could have put a little into every ICO and you probably be a millionaire.
What we have seen is a once in a lifetime phenomenon
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need an ICO regulation? on: June 18, 2017, 08:39:56 PM
We need a rules or something to prevent us from being scammed
Will rules prevent you being scammed?
Regulators can be corrupt too.

The best way to avoid being scammed is to do your own homework
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [SNT] Thoughts on the Status ICO? on: June 17, 2017, 08:43:23 AM
Another confusing ICO with newbies on here explaining then re explaining then re explaining
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need an ICO regulation? on: June 17, 2017, 07:56:38 AM
Most of the really good, high risk deals in the share market are only available to "qualified" investors. Small fish are prohibited.

that has been one of the wonderful things about crypto. Hedge funds mostly missed out and small fish have done very well
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need an ICO regulation? on: June 17, 2017, 07:54:33 AM
Regulation will make it hard for small investors to participate and make money. If ICO's had been regulated a lot of small people would not be rich now.
Regulation kills things and makes good deals only available to people who are already rich
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: June 17, 2017, 07:51:24 AM
SONM Admins, may I know when we can see you from the crypto exchange sites? Please target Poloniex and Bittrex.  What are your next roadmap after this ICO? Thanks

SNM transfer will be restricted for security reasons for one month after ICO closes; all unredeemed tokens will be burned
https://blog.cyber.fund/satoshi-fund-sonm-ico-report-d9aec0513fb8

For security reasons?   Huh    Huh

What "security reasons"?
