81  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: September 01, 2018, 09:13:49 PM
You can compare it to dealing with cash, which everyone does.
I guess it depends on what kind of transactions you do and with who.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin conquers Nasdaq, 2019 on: September 01, 2018, 09:08:36 PM
Things like this will make bitcoin go big, 2019 year of the bull  Cool
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another bull run speculated for Q4,2018? on: August 31, 2018, 01:53:11 PM
Nothing we experience anytime soon will come close to what we experienced in 2017 and so even if we have a bullish period people won't identify it as such because everything isn't 2x every 5 days. I think Q4 is too soon for any major bullish movements. After a big bear period bullishness doesn't just return instantly.

I kind of agree but think we will see some kind of movement in Q4, wouldn't be surprised if bitcoin goes flat for a while though.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Crypto-Currency on: August 30, 2018, 11:59:53 PM
Creating a Central Bank of Crypto-currency may no longer sound ridiculous as we are now having a number of countries coming up with some sort of mass application of the technology, the latest is from India, which reportedly ban cryptos, but recent report states that they are considering having a Bank of crypto, Ruppies-backed, Central bank digital currencies CDDC.
Are these really positive news for the crypto-market?

https://cointelegraph.com/news/reserve-bank-of-india-confirms-it-is-looking-into-making-a-central-bank-digital-currency
You can't purchase or buy bitcoin, but you can use bitcoin. Logic goals.

A central bank of crypto, its ridiculous. It has bank in its name, how can it be good? Oh god, we are seeing countries making absolutely worse decisions, and its hypocrisy that's evolving here.

Yes they just don't mix together. How is this even a thing.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why Bitcoins is the safest system on: August 30, 2018, 11:59:01 PM
Bitcoin is very safe system. Bitcoin use modern safe and secure technology. Bitcoin is decentralized system and it use blockchain system. Bitcoin transaction is also very secure transaction no one can trace you.

Playing devil's advocate..kind of, but what is more safe a decentralized network with irreversible transactions or a centralized network with reversible transactions.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: August 28, 2018, 12:34:47 PM
The top reason that made them poor poor for certain is that they buy coin because of rumours. It don't work now these days and even if it does, these traders don't how pump and dump works. They should have sold it on that moment because it just goes crashing after.
and also they only put their money into one portofolio, they dont diversify their asset into some potential coins or tokens.

Diversifying is a good thing but there are people who got rich of investing in one coin, with some luck it can be done.
I would say the most important thing you can do is research the tech and the team behind that tech.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: August 28, 2018, 12:29:32 PM
So saw many self airdrops of ERC20 tokens and wave platforms in social media. They would promise their investors a cheap token price purchase, and in turn promise a good listing price at the exchange. 98% of these self airdrop never make it to exchange, and the few that get listed in a decentralized exchange get pumped for 2hrs and there after dumped forever. Why do you think people still patronize these scamming project and not study good ICOs and buy?

Don't blame them, maybe this is first time buying coin when ICO and not all ICO is bad just learn their project if good you can join if bad you can ignore it,maybe you are right that some of them get pumped for some hours and get dumped after some hour, but it's not forever, just patient, after all that coin still new.

New people get tricked by shady people who are in crypto, surprise surprise  Roll Eyes
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook shares price fell -24% on: August 28, 2018, 12:26:33 PM
By the way, FB stock hasn't rebounded at all since this thread was started.

Failbook, Fakebook, Fuckbook. Facebook is going down.

As much as I hate facebook they could potentially introduce bitcoin and crypto to so many people if they would do it right.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Seeking a legit article website. on: August 28, 2018, 12:24:39 PM

90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight? on: August 28, 2018, 12:22:56 PM
Nothing comes without hard work and patience in crypto, a few people get lucky here and there, that's about it.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: August 27, 2018, 01:44:47 PM
Maybe the type of gold that is recommended for investment is a type of gold precious metal that has certificates that are recognized internationally. The price of gold is determined by the value of gold itself and is determined by the international market. Thanks to this stability, the price of gold tends to rise every year. In addition to its profits, gold is the only investment that is avoided from taxes because precious metals are included in the category of raw materials. Maybe that's what makes older people like investing in gold.
Yeah that is also the reason they invest in it, I will add according to my own experience, because I also including old people and my father also did the same thing. we think that gold is an investment for the long term and the future, security/safely will be very guaranteed because the price is stable but tends to rise. there is no risk to worry about. that why making us sure and believe to invest in gold

It is one of the few constants people believe in.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Huobi's Fierce Move to March Forward on: August 27, 2018, 01:36:50 PM
Huobi are a bunch of thieves that make up rules on the fly.  I do not recommend these guys to anyone.  Please save yourself a huge headache and use Binance or Kucoin.

To be fair it does feel like most exchanges abide by their own rules and do what's best for themselves instead of their customers. Roll Eyes
93  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: August 27, 2018, 01:24:56 PM
I don't think that might happen because Fiat Currency is very much used for international payments, so Fiat is very difficult to collapse.

If they keep printing money and keep devaluing their fiat currency, then yes certain fiat currencies will fall in my opinion.
There is no other outcome, the situation won't be sustainable.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Weak Hands lose money, strong hands makes profits in this game! on: August 27, 2018, 01:23:31 PM
It is true that weak hand always lossing their money. They always panic when market volatile and its very normal in any market that price always fluctuated. Strong hand in crypto will reach success because they believe that market will recovery and believe crypto is future investment

A weak hand can save him self from some loss as well, but in general weak hands gain less to no profit.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Turkey’s economic crisis can trigger the next crypto bull run on: August 27, 2018, 01:20:47 PM
So far there is no clear example of Bitcoin growing as the result of some economic disaster.

i was about to say..... this OP reminds me of the hype around the 2013 cyprus financial crisis. people kept hyping it for months even though there was no evidence that it was increasing demand for BTC.

In some cases all you need is hype to move the price, having said that I don't think Turkey's economy will cause a bull run.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: facebook bans bitcoin on: August 27, 2018, 01:15:44 PM
Maybe stop bumping old threads and reacting to old news...jeez.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEWS Venezuela plans to create a cryptocurrency Central Bank on: August 27, 2018, 01:14:42 PM
NOBODY would buy or use a Venezuela crypto currency just like NOBODY used the Bolivar or Petro.

The GOVERNMENT stole the people's money there.

They buy bitcoin because it is decentralized and won't trust that government to create another currency.

Exactly this, who is interested in a centralized crypto by scammers? Nobody.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An ETF will be approved because on: August 25, 2018, 12:38:04 AM
Always working on the behalf of Bitcoin: Thank you!

"Where is my Lambo?"

Bitcoin gives a shit about institutional money and etf,... You just want your Lambo.

Bitcoin does not need institutional investors.
Bitcoin was created because they messed up.

But don't worry, you will have your Lambo.
In my opinion bitcoin etf is inevitable.

Patience, when the time is right.. we will all reap the benefits Wink
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: August 25, 2018, 12:30:53 AM
The only rival here is ETH but still I doubt that possibility, probably BTC will be top crypto for centuries, its price will only grow I think.

Nothing really rivals bitcoin. Eth had a good run but it seems like things have calmed down significantly for ethereum.
And it still doesn't have the user base that bitcoin has, it might never have that.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela In Chaos - Massive 95% Devaluation -new Bolivar pegged to state crypto on: August 25, 2018, 12:28:27 AM
Venezuelans are started accepting Dash in their stores, so when your local currency is not good store of value, then cryptocurrencies could be good option. I hope that we do not need to wait Venezuelan scenario for cryptocurrencies adoption.

They are honestly better off accepting bitcoin, instead of dash.
