81  Economy / Speculation / Re: I locked the profit - SOLD ALL COINS on: June 12, 2016, 05:42:05 PM
Roll Eyes you've been preaching over and over about expensive bitcoins yet still have some to sell?
82  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 6.91 btc gone at okcoin.cn ? on: June 12, 2016, 05:24:47 PM
if you didn't spend it then it's obviously a mistake on their service. there's nothing you can do besides waiting for your support ticket to be handled.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a small correction in price of BTC? or buy now? on: June 12, 2016, 04:15:07 PM
it's useless asking about it here. when the price jumped to $590 people asked the same thing and the answers they get are always the same: both ayes and nays. but turns out the correction was barely noticable. if you believe that the price is going to increase further then by all means, buy a lot of btc.
84  Other / Meta / Re: Avtivity on my profile on: June 12, 2016, 02:19:40 PM
Yes your activity will not grow itself just keeping your profile registered. How many years old is not a significant, it is all you have to do is post in different sections of time (at least once in every 2 weeks) for increasing activity in your account.

which section you posted in will not make a difference. you can post on your local board all your life and still gain activity.
85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about transaction fees in wallets on: June 12, 2016, 12:47:10 PM
I want to ask a question about transaction fees.
Why in online wallets like Xapo, there are no fees when sending a payment, while in the downloadable wallets, you pay fees?

most services have access to all your bitcoins stored in their wallet, while desktop wallets lets you control your own bitcoins.
afaik only xapo pay the fees for you. no other services does that. and I can't think of any reason why they do that other than to get more users to use their other paid services.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What's the max amount of time a transaction can stay uncofirmed ? on: June 12, 2016, 09:58:44 AM
it should be dropped after 48-72 hours unless someone is rebroadcasting it periodically. bitcoin qt does this automatically so you'll have to zap your wallet by starting the client with -zapwallettxes command. multibit classic/hd will not return the btc to your wallet even if it gets dropped unless you use the reset blockchain feature (google it).

LMAO at btc-e.
90  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan of .5 BTC. Replay in two months. on: June 11, 2016, 09:18:18 PM
Needing a Loan of 0.5 BTC.
Repayment total = 0.06 NTC

what's NTC? never heard of that alt before. or you mean 0.06 BTC? wait, that's a ripoff. maybe you mean 0.6 BTC? but wait, you just registered. what's your collateral?
91  Other / Meta / Re: Looking for a bit of info about my profile on: June 11, 2016, 06:13:03 PM
posts doesn't have a limit. activity have limit and it's calculated this way:
Quote
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

read more here.

and activity is sum of days, you have made posts.

not exactly. it doesn't matter if you make 50 in one day. you'll still only get time*14 activity.

94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how to check sign message is legit? on: June 11, 2016, 11:10:57 AM

just wanna ask how to check sign message is legit.
seen lending threads asking sign message but how do they know its true?

you can do that from your wallet ( Electrum, Bitcoin core, etc....)

or you can check this with an easy online tool , ie: http://coinig.com/   Cool

I would not recommend anyone to use coinig because they are prone to errors and can't verify messages properly. also they can't verify any signed messages with multiple lines
like
this.
95  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I need BTC for 0.18$ paypal on: June 10, 2016, 08:25:29 PM
I don't think you can send such a low amount on paypal... that's less than the base fee.
96  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEASTBTC hacked my account . How do I get it back on: June 10, 2016, 08:12:13 PM
to get your account back, follow the instructions posted here.
97  Economy / Lending / Re: LOAN 0.08 COLLATERAL my account socccer 0.1xxxx on: June 10, 2016, 05:42:42 PM
accounts are not valid collateral. get a valid collateral or lock this thread as you might just get a negative for asking a no (valid) collateral loan with a newbie account.
98  Economy / Lending / Re: [EDU] The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK! on: June 10, 2016, 02:25:57 PM
Why hand someone your $1100 worth of Doge and not have access to it to pay interest on a loan of another top five altcoin.

because people might believe that doge prices will go up before they get enough money to buy it back.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Estimate the minimum TX fee to get a tx into thr blocks 420,000 or 420,001! on: June 10, 2016, 02:07:38 PM
Title. Ive seen so many bitcointalkers saying they'll make a transaction on the halving block. So how much will it cost to get a tx into this block?

Let's assume -
- The block is full
- There is a high interest to get a transaction into this block
- You are making a 1 input 1 output transaction

I'm going to say a 0.0007-0.001 fee

all of that would be useless unless you know how the number of unconfirmed transactions and the average fee they're paying. for all we know someone might spam 1000 1KB transactions with 0.01 fee each.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Split: No Confirmations, no transaction? on: June 08, 2016, 09:37:52 PM
Hi, thanks for the quick feedback

hmm, ok, can you clarify a bit further? because all incoming transactions (bitcoins) into my wallet were confirmed, or do I understand you wrong?
did I do something wrong, or did this just happen beyond my control?

adding to that :
- I've read elsewhere that if a transaction remains unconfirmed, after a while these btc will come back into my wallet (like the transaction never happened), would this be the case also, or will they go through eventually?
- is there anything I can do to speed this up?
- is there anything I can do to avoid this in the future?

L.

you understood me right. but bitcoins you sent is still not confirmed. see here for the first transaction and here for the second.
though I'm not sure how reliable live.blockcypher.com is (the received/sent stats shows 0 even though it clearly have received and sent some.).

and:
- maybe they will go through eventually. if they don't then yes, they will come back to your wallet after some time but first you need to get rid of those transactions because bitcoin-qt automatically re-broadcasts your transactions to the network. to delete the transactions, follow the steps posted by shorena above.
- I don't think so unless you can get a miner to include your transactions in a block.
- always pay recommended transaction fee. also make sure whoever you're trading with do the same (this will also keep you safe from double-spend scams.).
