Good luck to all of the participants for this season. I hope everyone is okay if I continue to post in this thread and share some news updates, comments despite if I did not join the league hehe.

Also, on this draft order, it appears that @Hueristic is being given a very good advantage over everyone heheh. I wish I can watch the draft as only an observer.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 20, 2024, 04:46:20 AM
But I guess there is no hostage of the belt by Crawford although he still holds the next 3 belts. However, with this move, I do not think that Crawford will stay at 147 lbs.

Yeah, Terrence Crawford will be moving up on his next fight against Vergil Ortiz, at least that is what his excellency Turki Alalshikh had promised that he will make this fight happen. With his years numbered, i do think that Crawford will take this one even though he will be the slight underdog as Ortiz is comfortable fighting in the 154lbs division.

It appears that the dreams of Errol Spence of being a champion in the super welterweight division will be broken if Bud Crawford will unify this weight division and become the king of super welterweight hehehehe.

In any case, I wish Bud Crawford will not yet leave welterweight because there is a boxer there that many fans would like to witness who is the real king. This boxer is Boots Ennis. He has a chance to win against Bud, I reckon.

News update! According to Matthew Sigel of the investment company VanEck, he speculates that all of the big dumping of bitcoin on everyone's faces has ended. He has also speculates that the recovery might be 1-3 months and they are buyers during this recovery period. This is certainly a boom news hehehehehehe.

84  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kamala Harris might continue crackdowns on Bitcoin and the cryptospace on: August 20, 2024, 02:18:01 AM
I am not quite certain if this is true, however, there are some articles mentioning that if Kamala Harris is victorious on November, it appears that she will hire uncle Gary as her secretary for the department of treasury. This might not be good for the cryptospace in America, I reckon.

There is also mention of grandma Warren who has been promoting her anticrypto army.

While publicly, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) chairman Gary Gensler hasn’t expressed desire to leave his current role, multiple senior Senate staffers are telling the Washington Reporter that if Vice President Kamala Harris wins in November, she plans to nominate Gensler as her Treasury Secretary. Those rumors corroborate what top Republicans have also told the Reporter on the record.

In an interview with the Reporter, Rep. Tom Emmer (R., Minn.) previously warned that Harris may pick Gensler — or Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) — to serve as her Treasury Secretary. Such a move, he cautioned, would be a disaster for the economy.

85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: August 19, 2024, 03:26:41 AM
OK, what went wrong for Trump since the failed assassination attempt, when he was said to be guaranteed a win?
I just checked the odds and he's an underdog again with odds at x2.10 compared to Kamala's x1.73.
I don't expect Kamala to have any organic support and all of her voting base would be hard democrats electorate (who would vote for any Democratic nominee) and negative Trump voters.
Do you think polls are wrong, or has Trump lost the momentum that badly?

Similar to what I have mentioned before, Trump's loss of his momentum presently is not bad. It would be bad if this loss of momentum will be on October or the last weeks before the election. Trump can begin increasing is campaign activity again on the first week of October and create maximum activity on the 2 weeks before the election. Maintenance of momentum from today to election day is impossible and this might also cause something similar to an exhaustion of funds, their team's energy and the people's attention. Trump's ratings is also very much near Kamala, this is very good for their campaign and easy to recover hehe.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Memecoins lose $20 billion in market capitalization since May on: August 19, 2024, 02:45:25 AM
This is very headshaking because I am not quite certain if we should be contrarian and begin buying memecoins or if the investors will not return to memecoins and begin to invest in utility tokens, governance tokens and more important projects again?

The argument that many investors will not buy memecoins again is much of them remain to be holding them at very big losses and we can be certain that they are presently very hateful and angry hehehehe. We might want to avoid these hateful people because they might dump on us with our mouths open heheheheheehee.

During the first half of 2024, meme coins took the spotlight, captivating the crypto world with their quirky charm. However, the hype appears to be cooling off as we move into the latter part of the year. According to Google Trends, searches for “meme coins” have significantly decreased, and since May 21, the meme token market has seen a steep decline of more than $20 billion in value.

Historical data shows that on May 21, 2024, the meme coin market was valued at $59.62 billion. Fast forward to today, and that figure has dropped to $39.59 billion—a staggering loss of $20.02 billion in just 89 days.

While meme coins had a strong start in 2024, the second half of the year has been less kind to these tokens, whether they’re based on humor, celebrities, or presidential candidates. Losing $20 billion in less than 90 days is no small feat, and the future of the meme coin market remains uncertain.

87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gloom Boom Doom thread on: August 19, 2024, 02:12:01 AM
It appears that after this announcement from Goldman Sachs, the gloom and doom might begin to disappear and there will be an opportunity for the boom that will certainly cause a pump on the market hehehe. However, we should certainly wish that this Kamala Harris will not continue the anticrypto campaign of the Biden administration because it is speculated that Harris might continue this after hiring the participants of Operation Chokepoint 2.0 in her team.

Goldman Sachs Group economists lowered the probability of a US recession in the next year to 20 per cent from 25 per cent, citing last week’s retail sales and jobless claims data.

If the August jobs report set for release on Sept 6 “looks reasonably good, we would probably cut our recession probability back to 15 per cent, where it stood for almost a year” before a revision on Aug 2, said the Goldman economists led by Mr Jan Hatzius in a report to clients on Aug 17.

A flurry of data showing US economic resilience drove stocks to their best week in 2024, with dip buyers stepping in after a recent rout. The value of retail sales increased in July by the most since early 2023. Separate government figures showed the fewest applications for unemployment benefits last week since early July.

88  Other / Politics & Society / Kamala Harris might continue crackdowns on Bitcoin and the cryptospace on: August 19, 2024, 01:29:22 AM
My only wish is this speculation on more crackdowns under Kamala Harris' administration will not be true. However, is it certain that bitcoin and the other cryptocoins will not pump if Harris is victorious on November? Arthur Hayes certainly speculates that it will not matter if a Republican or Democrat will win. He predicts that bitcoin and the cryptospace will certainly pump under Trump or Harris hehehehe.

The storyline is different, however. The people in social media are beginning to call Harris a communist hehehe.

Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States, aims to maintain the Biden administration’s stringent stance on cryptocurrency regulation.

Harris is reportedly working with Brian Deese and Bharat Ramamurti, two former economic advisers of the Biden administration who have heavily opposed the previous Clarity for Payment Stablecoins Act of 2023 for being too permissive for issuers.

Were Deese and Ramamurti part of “Operation Chokepoint 2.0?”

In March 2023, the US banking system took a hit following the sudden collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and the voluntary liquidation of Silvergate Bank. Signature Bank was also forced to close operations by New York regulators on March 12, two days after Silvergate Bank’s liquidation.

The sudden collapse of the three crypto-friendly US banks was called “Operation Chokepoint 2.0” by crypto venture capitalist Nic Carter, who saw it as a “coordinated effort” to unbank the crypto industry.

In a concerning sign for future crypto regulation, Deese and Ramamurti were allegedly part of the operation, according to Galaxy’s Thorn

Popular American business magazine Fortune has previously referred to Ramamurti as the “White House’s top crypto critic,” who served as a National Economic Council Deputy Director in the White House until October 2023.

This is another reason why Harris’ choice of economic advisers spells a tougher stance for the crypto industry, added Thorn

89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 18, 2024, 03:54:22 AM
@pawel7777. Heehhehe does this chatgpt fight analyst not watch UFC? I reckon all of this predictions you are sharing for everyone will be wrong hehehe. In any case, similar to my prediction on August 15, Dan Hooker has won against the very big favorite Mateusz Gamrot heheheh. However, this was only with a split decision but congratulations to Dan Hooker, Gamrot is certainly a very difficult fighter to defeat.

Also, on chatgpt fight analyst prediction on a knockout for Izzy, I reckon this might be a decision if he is the winner. On Kai Kara-France vs. Steve Erceg, this will be Steve Erceg with a knockout victory.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: August 17, 2024, 04:42:53 AM
I very much agree. Unions have always supported politicians that are more pointed to the left than the right hehehe. However, the Teamsters union's president have spoken in the Republican convention expressing his support for the Donald Trump which was very shocking for many political analyst. Does this imply that they think Trump is for the people and they think the Democrats are for the rich?

Also, the people in social media have begun to speculate that there will be a Crypto4Harris campaign. The speculation is that Robert Kennedy will be part of Kamala's cabinet to help in bitcoin policies and from this he will express his support for Kamala. This might help gather bitcoin supporters for her.

LOL.. the second part of your post is definitely laughable. Democrats supporting Bitcoin? During the last 4 years, they have done whatever possible in their capacity to destroy the cryptocurrency sector. More and more regulations on important sectors, lawsuits against major exchanges to name a few. And suddenly when the elections are only a couple of months away they are showing unlimited love for the cryptocurrency. Their intention is very clear. They just need cryptocurrency for their funding and nothing else.

Agreed! Kamala and her team only do this to collect more funding from the communities in the cryptospace, however, they also do this to gather more votes for them and also gather the votes from these people who would have voted for Donald Trump.

If a Democrat will win, we can be quite certain it will be uncle Gary, grandma Warren and white hair Yellen cracking down on the cryptospace and create a CBDC world in America.
91  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: SEC subpoenas three crypto VCs in sign crackdown is gaining pace on: August 17, 2024, 03:54:32 AM
@zasad@. I reckon you misunderstood the case. Uncle Gary wants to declare them securities as issued by Ripple, however, they are not. The tokens by themselves do not have a contract or a promise of profit to the buyers. But securities laws were broken when Ripple offered them in private to investors. If XRP was sold in exchanges, this does not make it an illegal security which also acquits Coinbase from uncle Gary's case against them of being an exchange if illegal securities because XRP is not an illegal security.
That's where our opinions differ. You take this case literally, and I look at this court decision from different angles, because this decision also affects the big exchanges, which have their own beneficiaries, like Blackrock.
Speaking of sales, token advertising and “general solicitation” were strictly prohibited before, which violated US laws.
Before the regulation, many projects such as Solana, Near, Flow were essentially violating US law and the regulation process has only just begun.

However, the tokens by themselves are not illegal securities. The argument is securities laws were only broken if these tokens were sold through private deals, but if they were sold through the secondary market, this does not break securities laws. Uncle Gary is declaring that the tokens are illegal securities, the judge ruled that this is a mistake and these tokens are not illegal securities. This is also not according to your or my opinion. This is the judge's ruling.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: August 16, 2024, 04:47:20 AM
The United Auto Workers union, one of the biggest unions in the united states, came out endorsing Kamala Harris with a very scathing video against trump. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCkoaZUvvPI

It's interesting that while UAW had also endorsed Hillary in 2016, the democratic party has since taken a turn to be even more right wing. There's a lot of talk about class issues from the UAW but the Biden administration put through many policies that made the rich richer and the poor poorer. Surely things for America's poor may have been a little worse under Trump but this lesser of two evils logic isn't getting anyone anywhere in the long run.

UAW and other unions are good at saying who's actually worse for America's workers but who's going to say the Democrat's faults out loud also?

Unions supporting Kamala doesn't really surprise me. And these people doesn't have much sway on swing states anyway, as their votes are concentrated in deep blue states such as Michigan, Illinios and California. They have close to 1 million active and retired members, and most of them are registered Democrat voters anyway. BTW, after the initial bump for Kamala, opinion polls are once again showing Donald Trump in the lead. The poll from FOX News put him one point ahead (50% vs 49%), while the Cook Political Report shows Trump ahead in Nevada and Florida.

I very much agree. Unions have always supported politicians that are more pointed to the left than the right hehehe. However, the Teamsters union's president have spoken in the Republican convention expressing his support for the Donald Trump which was very shocking for many political analyst. 93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Harris Vs Trump - Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election on: August 16, 2024, 04:20:17 AM
@Kemarit. Also, Hillary's lead was very much more than what the lead of Kamala against Trump presently. I reckon that this would be easier for Trump to use a similar tactic to get back the lead again from Kamala hehehehe.

I predict the swing voters might begin to consider Trump again after their debate on September 4. On October, the higher ratings will be Trump.

Yeah, it's the same 2-3 points lead by Hillary before until that scandal of hers and then Trump going into the swing states, hence he was able to persuade this states to go with him in the last week of the campaigns and Hillary was not able to get back those voters.

And I do agree that debate is very important as well. Trump is well known to be a good debater, we have seen it many times and so the burden will be on Kamala on how she will get back at Trump's rhetorical attacks on her and let voters know that she is also very tough:  “As the saying goes, if you’ve got something to say, say it to my face.”.

It is not only Trump is because he is good in debates even if he lies in some of his statements hehehe. This is also because Kamala Harrison might not know what to reply against Trump because her mind might not be very smart enough to produce a good reply heheheh. In any case, this will be a very exciting debate and this might also be a very good chance to add more bets on Trump because this odds might become very low on November heheheh.

Also, if FTX has continued its existence, there was a Trump2024 token there before. It was very low price and this would have pumped when it was announced that he is the official nominee of the Republicans.
94  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BYBIT SHADY on: August 16, 2024, 03:33:57 AM
Very poor handling of the situation by ByBit. If I were them I'd at least give the user an option to withdraw their other coins and liquidate their positions, instead of letting them lose money (which is what normally happens) or gain more (happens rarely).

Allowing him to withdraw his stablecoins from a sanctioned service would be a very headshaking decision from the exchange heheheh. If they allow this, what would the regulators speculate they were doing? They were helping someone move his stablecoins from a sanctioned service and laundering his money through Bybit? This would certainly be a cause for the regulators to suspend Bybit's license heheheeheh.

97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 15, 2024, 01:58:02 AM
I have a speculation on Mateusz Gamrot vs. Dan Hooker. Similar to Muhammad Mokaev, I speculate that the UFC might suggest to Mateusz Gamrot that he should decrease his wrestling because wrestling is boring. I reckon this will certainly be very much more favourable for Dan Hooker and I predict he will have the victory hehehhehe. There might also be others like this for the other fights in the UFC. I am very skeptical on uncle Dana because he did not say or act negatively that Mokaev's statement was not a true statement. If the UFC is speaking to fighters on how they fight, this is for certain manipulation.
98  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BYBIT SHADY on: August 15, 2024, 01:28:07 AM
im not talking about me only it was spot trade what if someone is trading future ? HE WILL LOSE HIS MONEY

If that is you argument, the only action you can do is make a request in the exchange support to cancel your trade and convert back to stablecoin while your case is being processed by the exchange. If they allow this, you are lucky hehehe. However, you cannot force them to do something for you if they speculate that you have done something suspicious.

@OmegaStarScream. I reckon someone should create a thread for the forum where there is a list of sanctioned services to avoid.
99  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: SEC subpoenas three crypto VCs in sign crackdown is gaining pace on: August 15, 2024, 12:56:34 AM
@zasad@. Correct, however, under their laws a judge ruled that XRP and therefore other tokens are not by themselves illegal securities. This goes against uncle Gary's illegal securities on these tokens heheehe.

@Fiatless. There are speculations that Jump Crypto's dump on Ethereum and other cryptocoins were because the trading firm was having problems on their cashflow. This might also be because they need the cash to pay for lawyers' fees on a case against the SEC hehehehe.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biden to stand down - Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election on: August 14, 2024, 03:37:12 AM
That's literally what the polls and odds are saying as well. Don't care what Republicans tell to themselves, they can keep believing what they want to believe, Trump is not going around enough at all, and Kamala is stepping foot to every important swing state, which is helping and right now Kamala is seen as the highest chance to win.

That is not just some wrong polls, you can buy polls, if I want to, I can pay a million dollars to these companies and make them show Kamala is leading or Trump is leading. But bookies are not like that, they know what they are doing, because if they are wrong then they lose money, so they will show the right odds and that's why I think Kamala is leading right now, that's the important part.

Trump may even withdraw, he has been going around saying Biden should take his candidacy back, think about how desperate he must be feeling that he already knows he can't win against Kamala, hence his point is not that he is better than Kamala, but his point is that Biden should take his nomination back.

This proves enough that we are talking about a person who already accepted defeat, and he knows it as well as we know it too and if he doesn't do something about it, he will lose.

Yeah, that's right.

But there's still a lot of time until the elections....

I mean, if you asked me a month ago it was a clear win to Trump, but things have changed now....

But, things might change again, who knows....

There is a tactic in election campaigns where the team of a certain candidate will decide not to maintain their lead in the polls and surveys to save their financial resources and avoid overexposure of their candidate. I reckon the more important decision for Trump's team is to maintain their current ratings under Kamala's ratings but not very much under this and begin using all of their resources during the last 2 weeks before election day to pump their ratings in the polls and surveys and get back the lead.
