81  Economy / Services / Re: [BitBlender] Signature Campaign - Seniors and up (CFNP) on: February 16, 2018, 01:11:36 AM
First off, the outstanding rounds, there will be a payment covering the last two pay round (this sunday and sunday two weeks ago) tomorrow morning.

Sad I only got paid for 3/4 weeks. Did I miss something or did the funds in the escrow address just run out?
If you look at the spreadsheet Lutpin paid you less as you had 7 posts less than 100, which was the minimum for the four-week double round requirement.

I've been in this campaign since it started a bit more than a year ago if I recall correctly, but I think as of this round I'll be leaving. I hope to participate in more of your signature campaigns if the opportunity arises, Lutpin. It's been a good run and you ran things well.

Huh? I'm still counting like 98 or 99 excluding my posts here. Idk, this just isn't worth it anymore. $60 every two weeks? That's just such a massive drop.

Thanks for the good run. It would take me 8 weeks to make up the two weeks that I just lost though, so I'll also be leaving.

If I did my math right, this campaign is now paying 10% of what was originally paid out.

About 0.006 every two weeks (based on the price of Bitcoins right now) = 0.003BTC a week and the campaign started at 0.03BTC a week. Obviously bitcoin prices are up since then, but still... That hurts.

I'm sorry to see this one go. I think this was the longest running signature campaign I've been in.

83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: February 11, 2018, 05:23:38 AM
At this time the media has no interest in explaining, educating the masses about bitcoin and blockchain technology. Whoever gets their media information will never invest in crypto. The media is against bitcoin, but I think it will come a day when it will have to accept this reality.

The real reason of why media is against bitcoins is because media is controlled by the government and governments have direct influence on media. They presents the things the way government wants. That's why we see lot of crash news of bitcoin but we hardly see any news of bitcoin stability or bitcoins upward movements.

I think people read too far into it. Honestly the news is for old people that don't realise they're sheep. If you just keep watching all the good feeling stories, this guy got murdered and here's our spin on it, how will you ever form your own opinions on things? These literally tell you how to feel so you feel it. How stupid is that?

I think the only reason why the media is so negative, is because it's just so damned easy! People don't want to embrace change, because they're an old dumbass sheep watching the 11 o'clock news! Why would they try to promote it to them? Just get the ratings up by giving them what they want and everybody wins.

"I heard Bitcoin is risky and dangerous" is what I hear a lot of. Oh yeah? You heard that? Did you inform yourself or are you just hearing things in passing from a screen then basing your life off of that? What the fuck has our society come to.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Blockchain Could Be Purgatory on: February 11, 2018, 05:16:48 AM
I woke up this morning thinking about a horrible dystopian future where the government uses blockchain technology to track every transaction a person makes - publicly - forever.

Mhm, who cares what they can see when they don't know who is behind it all? Seriously. Who cares if you can see where someone is sending Bitcoins? That's just another address that may or may not be linked with anyone online. So how would they figure it out, assuming you use an HD wallet and don't just keep accepting and spending Bitcoins through the same address over and over again.

If it's a real concern, just use a crypto that's more private. Good to go.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A fun little project: The 2018 Shitcoin List on: February 11, 2018, 05:12:30 AM
Hey $100 a coin is a good idea. Spread it around in shitcoins and if you lose it, not a huge deal but if it goes 200x then you just made a ton of money from doing nothing at all. Why not? There are always going to be new winner popping up. Just knowing when to get out will be that hardest part. I wish I got out of some of my ICOs early on when there was lots of hype with them because they're dead now (in terms of price not moving up anymore at all).
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 of Cryptocoins which will last at least 5 years on: February 11, 2018, 05:06:37 AM
Monero, Dash, Bitcoin, Ripple (only because of bankers), Ethereum (only bagholders) and maybe Bitcoin cash if there are enough people that think it's still available option. It's only going to get worse and worse though. Other than that, I guess Litecoin will be around. It's an oldie and nothing is wrong with it. Other than that we're going to see some major shifts. The shitcoins that jump to top 20 then are gone in a few months will never be seen again for the most part. It's happened many times over the years.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: February 11, 2018, 05:02:40 AM
Hovering at the top 100 days really puts this into perspective for me personally. It seems pretty bad when you see that this dip turned into a bear market for quite a while, but top 100 days? Oh well then who cares. Bitcoins have been around about a decade now and we're in the top 100 days? That's awesome. Who cares about what it's worth in fiat. I'm just happy to be here.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Does bitcoin really work as real transaction ? on: February 11, 2018, 04:57:33 AM
I've never heard of people buying Bitcoins through a broker. What's the advantage of doing that Vs. opening an account at an exchange and buying some Bitcoins? WOuldn;t the broker hold the Bitcoins on your behalf? That sounds like they're basically trusting someone with your private key, when you don't actually need to. Ignorance will kill you in this space. People just need to learn how to use it or don't bother buying it. Figure it out first then buy it, not the other way around. Grin
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cardano a good investment? on: February 11, 2018, 04:51:26 AM
It's top 10, so not a chance. It'll never 100x so what's the point in investing? You're taking on more risk when you buy a shitcoin that's already been pumped halfway to the moon. Just because it's top 10 right now means it'll always be top 10. I think newbies really need to learn that fast. Look at the top 10 from a year ago vs now. It changes constantly and you never know which will be the winner or loser. If you're buying shitcoins just buy something lower market cap with a great WORKING product. None of that vaporware, we're working on it speculative crap.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it easy to trade cryptocurrency? on: February 11, 2018, 04:48:25 AM
Oh yeah man it's super easy. Is it easy to earn money by doing this? Only if you have a ton to work with, get the best fees and can just do arbitrage all day every day. If you're just trying to trade based on market movements it'll never be a sure thing and you should be very cautious with it. Short term nobody has a clue what's going to happen and bullshit TA won't help you figure it out either. If the price goes up it's because there are more buyers than sellers (in $ figures). If it goes down it's because of an inverse relationship. That's it. People like to make up reasons for why something went up or down because it's human nature, but in the end markets are so much more complex than, China bans Bitcoin = 20% dip. Okay but what if the SEC says who cares about Bitcoin let's leave it alone? That's not negative. So people in the US buy. People in neither of these countries make informaed decisions, and then the market decides where the price goes. Trading is complicated as hell. I've tried it and HODLing is just so much easier and more satisfying. Good luck.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: February 11, 2018, 04:42:06 AM
The only thing that we can do is try to educate people. I always find it sad when you're talking to someone who thinks they're good with money then you figure out that they have a maxed out credit card, they stretched their mortgage out as long as they could.. I mean, wtf? They're going to be in debt the rest of their lives, which we end up being debt-free from crypto. This whole notion of young people having to have debt because that's just the way the world works is completely stupid. No society should be so broken that someone has billions of dollars that was earned by their great great great grandpa so they don't need to work, yet someone with a good education and actually contributes to society gets screwed over. There are so many young people not working in their field of expertise because they couldn't find a job. What did education help them with?
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Problems with car dealers accepting crypto on: February 11, 2018, 04:38:01 AM
Well for the warrenty, do what you would do with any other currency. If they pay in JPY, refund JPY. If they pay in Bitcoins, refund Bitcoins, not the USD equivalent of Bitcoins. I don't know anywhere that does refunds (I know it's a warranty and it's not the same, but for all intensive purposes let's just say it's a refund) people in a different currency, so that wouldn't be expected of your parents' company if someone paid with Bitcoins.

Obviously that's not legal advice. Oh and you don't need to worry about why people are spending Bitcoins and not leaving a paper trail, because they have to leave a paper trail. If they don't pay their taxes that's not your problem at all.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Big in Japan on: February 11, 2018, 04:34:08 AM
None of those are really a reason for an everyday person to own Bitcoins honestly. The reason they're big in Japan is because it's a tech savvy country, the government there understands that they can't stop it so they embrace it and they have very clear guidelines on spending Bitcoins and how it's taxed (or in the case of visitors spending Bitcoin, it's not taxed at all). So... It's an ideal country to spend Bitcoins.
94  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Paxful account frozen any service/way to unfreeze it? on: February 11, 2018, 04:31:42 AM
Paxful is still around? Wow I haven't heard that name in a long time. The only thing you can do is contact their customer support. If they aren't responding you could try and find someone that works there on social media, but that'll probably be a huge waste of time, since even if you find them, they probably won't respond.
95  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: possible Poloniex leak/hack? on: February 11, 2018, 04:25:32 AM
Even if it's real what does it matter? This guy wouldn't give people 24h. He would have gotten everything he possibly could have then split. This has got to be fake. When is he supposed to prove that he's legit? Glad I got everything out of that shithole anyway.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Life Is Good Coin (LGC) Unique mortgage of the crypto token on: February 10, 2018, 07:21:46 PM
Okay. So how do I get a mortgage with your token or business or whatever this is? What rate will you give me? What is the rate based off of? Where are you able to give out mortgages? Is this legal? Is this a collateral mortgage or a conventional mortgage? Do you also offer insurance?

^ all that and more should be conveyed in the OP.
97  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Convert Bitcoin To Hard Cash on: February 10, 2018, 04:32:13 AM
Bitcoin is real money. It's not 2010 ffs. Maybe you should take a little time to look over what you invested in so you can understand that your shitty government pumping out more paper money is literally worthless. How much was your fiat worth 100 years ago? Mine was about 25x as much as I can buy with it now. What a hyperinflating government run, bureaucratic clusterfuck fiat is.

Stick with your real money and thank me when the revolution happens.

Oh and to answer your question, an exchange. No one knows where you're from so how would we know how to answer that?
98  Economy / Speculation / Re: IT'S TIME TO BUY BITCOIN ?? I SAY YESSSS on: February 10, 2018, 04:25:55 AM
Without all your bullshit made up crap with fib levels and "technical analysis" it's safe to say that this is a great time to buy. Bitcoin is pumping again, the FUD isn't scaring anyone anymore, we're going to see a lightning network very soon and we've dropped a lot of dead weight from the community (BCH, BCG). 2017 was spectacular and 2018 is going to be another crypto year. We sure as hell made headlines time and time again. That's going to be the same this year. You don't need fake bullshit TA to figure that out.
99  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Stolen Bitcoin on: February 10, 2018, 03:35:53 AM
$500 in bitcoin, up front, with anything is a scam. Guaranteed 99.9%. If you meet these people irl it might be more legit, but that doesn't really mean anything either. Don't give them anything up front. If they won't do it, offer to use an escrow. If they don't agree to that, fuck em.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince the people to invest in Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2018, 03:33:43 AM
I always tried to explain the tech, explain how fiat works, explain and explain but people don't want to change unless it's worth it to them. No one bought bitcoins back in 2015 when I tried to convince them, but every single one of them wishes they did now. Obviously. It's a disruptive tech. Idk why they don't just listen to me to begin with. They'll never see the gains that I did, or if they do I won't be around. I'll be on an island somewhere haha.
