82  Economy / Economics / Re: True wealth comes from income when you sleeping but earning on: June 04, 2024, 06:37:17 PM
The great Warren Buffett said,  “If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die.”

He’s mostly right isn’t it. Try to create a passive income if possible.
I think banks might start offering crypto staking for customers because they see that's what customers want off course secured staking that goverment will secure staking.

that is if someone really trusts them for their coins. if what they are doing now like not even allowing people to withdraw then there is also a chance that they will not allow stakers to withdraw.

that banks right now are closing one by one. and only the wealthiest and taking over these banks. you're not going to make them wealthier again while you risk your coins.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keeping your assets safe in the crypto space.. on: June 04, 2024, 04:27:44 PM

couldn't this be because of the incident that Binance hacked due to the Chrome plugin?
well i read this few hours ago https://cointelegraph.com/news/hackers-steal-millions-chrome-plugin-binance-scam

and maybe a warning to all will work. i didn't see any bybit or bitget hacks but it wouldn't be long since the hacker seemed savvy in victimizing crypto users. it think it should have been just a pin on the telegram channel.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A TOKEN PROJECT (Research First) on: June 04, 2024, 02:35:25 PM
this idea has been around for years, yours may be a little different from theirs but for tokens to have value, it would take more than just merchants accepting the tokens. but you do have the idea of adoption so it could have some success for a certain community you could build. it always starts small. you will never know what could happen until you try. lose some and win some.
I think he is only giving some hints there but the main idea is not yet released according to his last sentence. Rest only assure that his idea is not like the others because that may not click anymore. We know, people, they easily got bored on one thing and they always keep looking for something that is unique.

Merchants accepting the tokens, are already advanced and a new token project will need to prove its worth first before a merchant decides to accept it or not. But that's right, there is more in creating a token. So, even if it's okay to fail, it is still better to have a good preparation and think it a lot of times if you will enter this industry or not, so that we can minimize wasting time, money, and effort.

doesn't necessarily some merchant. the team could even be the merchant by creating their store and accept own token as it's like buying back.

convincing people that a token is worth buying is the hardest part of new projects even if it's listed on an exchange, but because the idea is not so new and nothing seems to be innovative in this, it's still crap. however its still up to the team, how they market the project.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to pitch a Bitcoin investment idea and gain backings? on: June 03, 2024, 10:40:59 PM
when you have already been in the crypto forum for a long time, you already know the anticipated questions and what to answer if they ever raise questions even on how to trade them. the only worry you have is if they have the money to invest and whether you are willing to trade your friendship when you get the blame.

you pitch to them and make them invest means you also need to guide them as to when and where they need to trade it to stablecoin to profit. its a responsibility to shoulder.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🐶 KABOSU Doge Private Coin - $KAB - Privacy Doge Coin on: June 03, 2024, 10:16:18 PM
The website clarifies that 3% is available to to the public for those who cannot mine or dont have enough HASH.

they see this to be Chinese because of that China man who crawls up behind that tree stump. why of all things to put on the main page is something like that lol
good name for a privacy memecoin though, i like it like the doge fork but an anon.  how do you plan to distribute that 3%?

the only it needs is the exchanges and some use for it. probably kabuso casino?
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump vs. Biden is almost like Bitcoin vs Fiat on: June 03, 2024, 10:02:42 PM
These politicians are just like chameleons. Where these people see benefits for themselves, they become chameleons, that is, ready to adopt any color to get prey. We saw D.Trup's previous statement that he used to look down on Bitcoin and call it an undesirable thing, but now he sees that 60℅ people in America have adopted Bitcoin, so now he knows it as an opportunity to adopt the color of Bitcoin. it's mean started talking in favor of Bitcoin to become prominent in the eyes of people and they will make me president by voting for me.

So I claim that these people are like chameleons, they change color quickly. If D. Trump becomes president, there is no guarantee that he will fulfill his promise because now his only intention is to become president and not a fan of Bitcoin. So I think he may change his mind tomorrow.

people believe it after all noting will happen if they don't believe his promises and he is making the shit show funnier. i still hope to see a debate while he is in jail.

Trump can gather a lot of people every time in his rally campaign though so the support for him is huge but i doubt the admin will really allow him to win. Biden is doing everything to crush Trump even on Twitter they are all up for Trump because of him being crypto president.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Hunger in a country known for agriculture. on: June 03, 2024, 08:56:34 PM

greedy rich powerful people that simply do not give a fuck about common folks.
As a Nigerian, this is to best reply that summarizes the situation of my country. And to make it worse the common folks keep worshiping the greedy rich and powerful people. It is almost as if they've been held spell bound. The greedy rich and powerful people will steal the the nation's resources and impoverish the common folks,  yet they will keep cheering them on. They are like a sheep being led to the slaughter house and despite knowing their demise is near, they do not about it. The people love their chains.
You are not the only one mate.

Many third world countries suffer from this exact same problem. People keep electing the corrupt politicians never learning their lesson. A lot of people on the senate are useless and not really contributing anything. I think many people typically only vote for who’s popular whether be that a good or a bad thing. I hope we all can do better in voting since this is our future we are talking about.

they are the same people we elect all the time. but look at the countries that never do the election in which their leaders reign for more than 20 years, their country seem to be more progressive. election is just a waste of time that the government keeps spending every 4-6 years. big companies that suppress the newer technology that should improve our lives are the ones that also need to change like the new crops that grow faster and bear fruits faster, but these are not shared with the developing countries.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is bitcoin future roles in Finance? on: June 03, 2024, 08:26:44 PM
some people think that Bitcoin will be the currency reserve in the future. although this might just be a theory, i would actually think it's possible if all currencies are going to end up like Zimbabwe's currency. this could be the role of Bitcoin in the future.

of course, this can only happen in the West but in the East, something like Gold might just be their reserves as the result of the current geopolitics.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins really important for the crypto market? on: June 03, 2024, 07:47:06 PM
As for me memecoins are distractions in the cryptocurrency market because if memecoins were not existing then by now bitcoin would have reached $100+k or even more but because of the memecoins people are diversifying their investment and splitting their investments across the memecoins and if those funds channel to bitcoin then boom us the name. If you invest in memecoins for a long term, there would be a problem and if you invest in short term there would be a problem so it is always at the investors risk.

memecoins are offered more to the social media for new investors coming into crypto. most of us here in the community only tries memecoins for the purpose of earning a few bucks and then try another memecoins to get more sats.

it does serve some purpose in some ways after all the goal is for adoption of crypto and starting in memecoins seems to be working. it wasn't so important but seems to be allowing people into crypto.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin market cap spike a foreshadowing of bigger things to come? on: June 03, 2024, 05:59:28 PM

they are inspired by what happened to Doge. if those Doge holders just held their millions of Doge they bet on casinos, they'd be richer than what they have today. they have their regrets and i think some of them are also thinking the same thing could happen to SHIB and some other meme coins.

with the bull run that is expected to be the biggest bull run, i think one would have the determination of a diamond hand to make it through all the economic crisis today.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you think it's best to consistently use the same exchange? on: June 02, 2024, 08:13:57 PM

i recommend using the same exchange because of KYC. if you have submitted to one exchange and then submit another on Kraken, Kucoin, or the new ones like Bitget, you will be submitting to all of them which means you give away to all of them where their government will soon have control over those exchanges. they could link them all for your digital ID for the IRS to look at.

93  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia can evade sanction through cryptocurrencies on: June 02, 2024, 07:24:59 PM
China is also a country that is not friendly to cryptocurrencies, but they are a strategic partner and ally of Russia. So I don't think Russia is using crypto to avoid sanctions and Western countries are being aggressive with crypto because of Russia.

Russia and China are using crypto, including USDT for transactions with one another. This way they avoid sanctions and make payments much faster and more unnoticeably to the outside world. On the official agenda, they may be against cryptocurrencies, but this does not mean that they do not use them for personal gain.

i doubt their government uses the USDT, it would mean a large amount of sending USDT. if it's a known address, those USDT can be frozen. and they find it not in their best interest, remember they are dedollarizing. but the citizens i think in China and Russia could still be using stablecoins including the USDT.

the government of Russia and China do have their own version of SWIFT, they may be using them already if not their CBDC.

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Only In a Coin that Increase in Value in this Bull Run. on: June 02, 2024, 07:10:46 PM

most coins if added to 2-3 exchanges are going up in the bull season. but there are lots of forgotten coins anymore that still exist buried in the top 500 of the list of thousands of altcoins.

for a new crypto boomer, it's safer to be on the top coins at least those are going to be mooning even when it's just 30% peak.  a popular memecoin i think will be safer.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Found This Stupid Promotion Circulating on Social Media on: June 02, 2024, 04:07:17 PM

everyone in the forum believes in BTC but it's also true people believe memecoins can make them life-changing profits. the social media crowd is taking the memecoins seriously. and if those people who are 100x more compared to the population in this forum invest in memecoins that big names have shilled, it will make them rich.

i think we have seen it all when robinhood added SHIB. who knows which exchanges will add those memecoins. right now i think many of us have some memecoins actually.  Grin

97  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia can evade sanction through cryptocurrencies on: June 01, 2024, 07:11:35 PM
But Russia should probably start using some of their Oil output to fuel industrial mining farms and mine Bitcoin. If they can't export and/or smuggle it all, then they should find more "experimental" ways to "export" them. The censorship-resistant path is through Proof Of Work through Bitcoin. Cool

they still can sell their oil to different countries though. particularly to India which countries from the West are buying from India. making Inida the middleman. they are earning money through the oil and gas coming from Russia. Russia's economy isn't as bad as the rest of the world.

they might not need BTC anymore but if they are going to be mining, they'd probably trust developers that are from Russia such as Vitalik. which means mining ETH will make sense for them as well besides BTC.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Institution who control's the Market on: June 01, 2024, 06:27:06 PM

^
the FED should have been the first on the list. it's the one setting up the rates for which the rest of the institutions are just milking the situation as the market reacts to what the FED is doing.

or the lawmakers too. they are the ones doing those inside trading. Nancy Pelosi seems to be the first to make money whether the bill will be vetoed or not, she's making money.
99  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can Bitcoin save a nation that owes a lot of money / Debt on: June 01, 2024, 05:47:06 PM

El Salvador afaik paid its debt to the IMF according to some news.
does Pakistan have some energy source that is overflowing and they could mine BTC with it?  they have oil reserves according to some news and if they could use them, maybe they could enrich themselves.

regardless of whether it could save them, its advantageous for their government to grab a stash of BTC since most governments will likely be doing the same thing. if US is heading this way, then its better to also get some BTC.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JASMY - worth investing? on: June 01, 2024, 04:59:15 PM

this is not the first that the Japanese have a coin for their people though. i remember Noah coin but it turned out that coin was a scam. So we shall see.

Jasmy however has been around in one crypto cycle so this had survived one wave of bull and bear season which is considerably a big milestone for this project. the main point is that, this hasn't turned out to be a scam.
