i just realized the multipool concept can only work for so many coins. after a while it can't sustain itself, simply not enough coins to feed off of. so i'm wondering if there will only be a few top coins with big multipool's that feed off a larger coin such as litecoin or bitcoin. the multipool might be a critical component to success for all coins that have finished PoW stage, and if only a few coins will be able to have a large multipool, it might sift out and destroy a lot of the little coins. basically a consolidation of the alt coin market.
I think you are exactly right. I believe PoS multipools will destroy all PoW coins except BTC. |

1000-3000. I don't think we'll see 5000. When WC hit 2200 the market cap was 50% of what it was now. |

I'm ok with my prediction i said wont see 800  still stand by that I am still waiting for 600 to buy in ... what i learned from blackcoin is, i should never even think about selling any time before 2015, ill just mine more and more wc in the multipool and thats it, those who can really wait will be able to get 1000 btc for every btc they invest now.
i did buy 75k BC for 1.6 btc, now go and see how much my 75k worth, its worth 30 btc, and am not even thinking of selling it when every cell in my body says the price will go 10 time higher than right now within a year !!
I agree that some coins will be much more valuable next year, can't believe I dumped 500,000 BC at 12000 sats  There'll be more coins like that between here and now. WC has a shot at being BC's opposing coin and therefore gaining traction from BCs success. But if WC fails, then I don't think any other BC clone will be able to replicate its success. |

I like it, but some digital voice would be nice. Your screen with BC details goes too quickly to read it all. Not 100% sure I want this to be marketed as the coin that eats others... :/ Whitecoin will also be PoS soon. They will also be eating coins. |

the way i see it, waffle has been dumping at the same rate for a few days...and mintpal has stabled around 1100. no reason it won't stay around this level until the end of PoW.
Waffle hasn't dumped anything in more than 12 hours I thought. |

Whitecoin volume, but I definitely agree that people are overestimating the control that Wafflepool has over price at this point. If they dumped all their Whitecoin holdings at once, we would see a price drop, though I'm not sure it would go much below 900, like you said. They wouldn't have to dump it all. All they would have to dump is their normal 100K and people will panic at this point. They've stopped dumping for so long people would immediately take notice. Like now? What the hell happened? Everyone just stopped buying. |

TBH I've always been a little on the fence about these ideas. I just don't think it's really necessary. All markets are going to be manipulated sometimes, it's just reality. But only so much can be done.. if we're constantly adding value to Blackcoin it will tend to constantly rise, simple as that.
Same here. I like the growth on news about services accepting Blackcoin and services around Blackcoin. Other than that it's just another market speculation from the other (buy) side. If you want Blackcoin than just buy it and hold (or spend buying goods and services). But if you start playing on their rules - you'll lose. And to everyone who is speculating about "They got it low and now they just trying to cashout" - as for me I have some Blackcoins since 2000s staking as much as I can and donated some to devs, Iconic and CoinKite campaign but never sold a single one. Yes, of course some will take their profit and move on but I think Blackcoin is capable of even more. Just my 2BC. (or BLK if you wish  ) I agree with KingSchultz. Instead of a normal price with whale manipulation, we'll have a lower price that's balanced by black shield and whale manipulation? We had a crash from 94K to 14K - Natural crash. 54K to 27K - Also Natural crash. If 27K is our next floor, we're doing pretty damn good. We don't know. Some whales might have failed miserably and lost tons of money. |

The coolest thing about this system, and that for example:
Realise that has a sale wall 45000@50BTC if we take a good bite, about 10-15 BTC, the wall will disappear like magic, and if the sell wall keeps steady, the buyers will eat it until we see the bones whale. People need to lose their fear of buying into walls! If we do something like that we do not need spend all our ammunition in a single wall, we will give good bites and if the wall is false it will be removed.

It's only dumped down to 998 once and been skidding here for the last 3 hours. We must be looking at different charts because all I see is low volume support at 1000 and only an unwillingness by sellers to sell lower than 1000. Sellers are dictating right now. There is nothing to support a dump. Nothing. Absolutely nix. And now, what we've all been waiting for! A message from the developers:  That's right. I call that "mental support" No one willing to sell lower, but pools aren't dumping either. |
