Yes

De toute façon le problème est simple : soit il existe des solutions de crypto non cassées auquel cas Bitcoin pourra toujours muter pour survivre, soit tout est cassé et dans ce cas bitcoin sera le dernier de nos problèmes
803  Other / Meta / Re: (PETITION) The act of BUYING/SELLING Bitcointalk.org Accounts (Poll) on: January 04, 2014, 02:28:06 PM
Lol
804  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My account is a few years old. on: January 04, 2014, 02:04:44 PM
Theymos can tell me that the IPs of registering and the current one are the same for example

As for satoshi he would sign a message with his PGP key

Would Theymos give out that info to you though? And it's likely IP addresses have changed if they haven't used their account in so long.
I don't think so and yeah they likely changed but the rough location can be the same

Still, what happens in this thread is far enough to make me sure that the account is either hacked or sold and that I advise people not to deal with it
That's all I wrote in my rating
Now people are warned, it's up to them to decide whether they agree with my rating

OP were you in another Bitcoin Forum site for a while, and yes, the restrictions of a newb account are still there because you havent completed what a newbie must do to gain full membership. and jackjack, do you have to be a mean to everyone? Reply in a sensible manner buddy Smiley

I never registered in a forum, waited 3 years without posting a single message, then insulted the forum just because I have to wait 6 minutes between each post

It is suspicious, but not conclusive.

I don't see what good buying an old newbie account would serve anyway. If it is bought; serves him right. If not, well, it is a bit unfair, but hopefully that'll become clear, but either way this guy is gonna be doubly pissed when he sees the red  Grin.
I know. I hope we can settle this when he comes back.
805  Other / Meta / Re: Petition freeze avatars indefinitely on: January 04, 2014, 12:37:04 PM
I wish new software never comes
Why?
807  Other / Meta / Re: Can we Propose a BitcoinTalk.org App? on: January 04, 2014, 12:15:54 PM
The owners have recieved over 5000+ bitcoins on donations, Its a absolute shame there is not been made a app untill now.

Do something back for the community!
That money is currently being used to pay the team that is developing the new forum

Ok, Are you going to stop pestering me? Are you calmed down?

No. No.
Are you going to answer my previous question?

Hmm maybe the guy thinks he has access to your mail account... I'd change the pass.
If it continues spamming you should ask theymos to do something. Maybe banning that IP or limiting the number of passworg-forgotten requests per hour.

You know it's time we need a new bitcoin forum when you have different sections for altcoins, 9/10 Tor exits are banned, and there are multiple threads asking for tapatalk... I miss the old bitcoin forum with it's tinfoil hat wielding users, where everybody was a sockpuppet, where the second post on every lending thread was "I can do this, BTC sent", where the few scammers were professional as hell because scammers were afraid of being doxxed by us...

If I had a time machine I would undo bitcoin adoption, the community is now full of hipsters with iPhones and shit who spend their day trying to profit like fuck off of bitcoin and end up getting scammed by some 11 year old kid...
+1

The forum doesn't block images but you must put the image URL and imgur.com/xxx isn't the image URL
Put i.imgur.com instead

You can propose it, but I am betting that it will never happen Wink

It will be dumb if it didnt.
Not endorsing the app of someone unknown that can do whatever it wants with your password is dumb?

Look, Your not quite getting it, I somehow theymos can make it easier for us to access the site on a mobile phone that would be beneficial to those who are working or on the go? Sounds dumb to you?

I'm often on the go and I don't see how having an app is critical

You think I want to be zooming in and out of my phone's screen to look for topics, or when you accidentally press cancel instead of post to post a long story?

Having a mobile site will clearly make things easier for an iPhone or any other smartphone.

Yea, Clearly your so ignorant to the facts and benefits of having a mobile site, maybe you shouldn't be here if you dont care.

Awww poor baby, you don't want to zoom in? Ask your babysitter, maybe she'll do it for you
Awww you can't even aim the Post button? Hey theymos, please make it 500x700px

Stop whining and move your fucking ass FFS. You want a mobile version? Then put a bounty or leave the forum because it's far from being the top priority.

Apparently your a fucking dick, If you don't like the idea "GET THE FUCK OUT"

I don't know whats up your ass thinking you can come here and just go out on a fellow member like that, you are clearly mad and proved to everyone your just another inconsiderate user, I did use proper language when speaking to you, but now you have lost my respect.

and for you information, what makes you think you can chose what or know theymos does, your just coming out with a bunch of bs tactics for theymos to say no, You just proved your point, and you said no, thats it.If Amazon can have a mobile site, so can we! Now are you going to continue to throw your stupid temper tantrums buddy?

Yeah I'm mad that a guy who can't even click on a button or doesn't bother zooming calls me ignorant just because I don't see the supposed benefits of an app. I'm sorry though, it's true I shouldn't be mad at you as this kind of behaviour can need professional help.
What makes me think what theymos does? I don't know, maybe the numerous posts from him that say he doesn't have time to spend on continuing to develop the forum moreover when a new one is coming, Sherlock.
Putting a red "avatars are disabled" took months, so yeah good luck waiting for your app.

Amazon can have a mobile version? Good for them, why would I care?
Maybe you didn't realise but we are a forum about bitcoin, that makes it MUCH less likely to receive updates or features as it could add vulnerabilities.
(Psssst guess who stated that. Hint: starts with "theymo")

BTW I read your OP again, what do you really want? An app from developers or from the administration of bitcointalk?

Shittiest-run forum on the internet.  You are causing great damage to crypto-currencies by merely being incompetent administrators.  I've been trying to post on here for a few days now.

Ah ah was the price too high for an account still locked in the newbie jail?
Cry me a river

Haha, you neg-bombed him? You sure it's bought/hacked? Would be funny if he did buy it and now this  Grin.
I don't have proofs but yeah I'm 100% sure
Can you imagine a guy registering in 2011, leaving for 3 years, then crying "My amount is a few years old. Shittiest-run forum on the internet" ?
I can't, and won't remove the rating until proven wrong

Yeah that could be useful but there are far more important things to do
