8081  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: tax. questn on: December 20, 2017, 02:11:08 PM
Has bitcoin been made taxable? How much is the tax?
When you do talk on direct tax into your bitcoin holdings then its not possible because government cant really do such thing but when it regards when you are transacting on an exchange or any services which being backed or regulated by government then its possible. Maybe they would depend on how much are earning on would totally depend on their laws imposed. If you do live on USA I don't have too much idea how they do treat out bitcoin. The best thing to do is find a lawyer and do ask on the things that is on your head regarding on bitcoin taxation.
8082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY or AIRDROPS ???? on: December 18, 2017, 01:55:35 PM
bounty or airdrop ?.
everything is okay.
I like bounty and like airdrop.
if the rules are not difficult I will follow.
Hehehe

You are right. Why we would need to choose among these two things if you can do both? Having both options would really extend or increase the chance for you to make money compared on just selecting one. Anything has its own risk either you end up on making money or nothing its just like that and also engaging on both things doesnt really require too much effort.

Bounties are limited promotion coins that you need to work for and get for your effort.
Airdrops are basically free coins given away. I prefer bounties all the time. More valuable.

If we do talk on chances for each coin to be listed on exchanges i would say those bounty campaigns would really have the higher chance compared on just being airdrop distributed but still not all the times though.

8085  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info payment missing on: December 15, 2017, 08:22:51 PM
Hello there.. my brother has a blockchain.info wallet. he wanted to exchange bitcoin to Ethereum. So, he went to the Exchange option and he put a transaction for buying Ethereum. After waiting couple of days,he saw that transaction has been confirmed in his wallet but he hasn't received the Ethereum amount in his blockchain wallet. Should he wait more or is there anything to concern here?
Thank you all
There are a lot of people who are complaining that blockchain is stealing their money. I think it is not reliable. On facebook people have given the proof that someone have emptied their wallet without logging in to their wallet. I will suggest to stay away from blockchain.
This is why i dont really trust too much on web wallets no matter how long they are already operating issues been there regarding on losing up funds on their wallet. Going back into the situation if its confirmed already then balance of eth should really reflect on your brothers eth wallet and the same as being asked above csn you show up some tx? so that we would able to verify if its really been confirmed or still pending.
8086  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I am so dumb! Localbitcoins on: December 15, 2017, 07:08:11 PM
Wow, that's not even near to the total amount you buy for that BTC. Not even at it's half actually. That's too overpriced. It's not the fault of the exchange. But atleast they should check what's happening on the transactions. There's so many fraudsters and abusers on localbitcoins. They are offering Bitcoin for a very high price than any exchange offers. They must remove them. Maybe next time try other exchanges. Coinsbase is good too. You should try this instead of localbitcoins. At the current price of Bitcoin, it's at the peak right now. Maybe it will take time to recover your loss.

What do you mean not near the amount you buy for that BTC? Why would you pay 51,000 per coin ever when the market is at 17,000? Clearly I have a lot more to learn
You didn't able to get the idea or the things he do mention on here. Let me clarify on what he was saying on here. He do bought $224 worth of bitcoin in the price of $875  price which means if you do make calculations basing on the possible price on where those bitcoins being bought on $875 range then you would sum up on having a $51k or even more depending on the current price of bitcoin on the time he did make a purchase. for now if we do base on $17k price then hes buying on $66k/coin.
8087  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Lawyers accepting bitcoin for services on: December 15, 2017, 05:12:54 PM
only applies to countries with legal jurisdiction for bitcoin, lawyers are also obedient to government regulations and not all countries allow it
if they do with the secret it will violate the rules and will be affected by legal consequences, but actually the article submitted by the OP is very good progress
If lawyers did already accept bitcoin as a payment then its normal to think of that particular country is already legalizing or adopting bitcoin because same as you said if they would secretly accept without the approval of the government would really have a significant punishment or consequences. Its really surprising for this thing to happen on where even lawyers already seeing the potential and possible benefits of bitcoin.
This would be great for those people who do live on those country but I believe this would only be a few.
I am sure that lawyers accept bitcoin for payment for its services using gaps in the legislation. This does not mean that it is legal. It seems to me that in any case it is now a violation of currency laws. In my country also a lot of possibilities when buying mining equipment, you can pay with bitcoin. Is our verbal agreement and such transactions take place under the shadow of the government. We still have a long wait for legalization but I don't want to. I like everything as it is now.
If we do try to see directly into their job and engagement on bitcoin I would say that they are really opposing to each other since we do know that lawyers are do always go with a countries law but as long it isn't still have any laws and restriction of bitcoin to be used on their country then I think it should be fine for them to accept bitcoin as a payment for their service. As long theres still no regulations then it wont really be a bothering thing for them.
8088  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns on: December 14, 2017, 08:54:41 PM
earn the  comfortable money to run your family.
You've got to be fucking kidding.  If you rely on sig campaign money to support a family, you're a lazy 3rd world scunt and are probably going to get booted for sheer ignorance of language skills/copypasting/some other shenanigans sooner rather than later.     Those of us who can and want to communicate properly.   This is a sad, sad post right here.  You idiots should not be procreating--stick to porn and leave live, breathing females alone.
Lol.. Obviously ,a lot of people see signature campaigns as a means of income, for being able to help their family by doing nothing but shitposting. Just make some useless 25-35 posts, and you're good to go.
And if bitcointalk has come to this, we're in deep shit.
It already has come to such a position, from the moment people started to realize bitcoin is rising like hell, they started abusing all the possible campaigns with their original and their legion of alt accounts. Bounties are easy to cheat and most of the shitposters go over there and the managers don't have that much of the strict measures like the ones in the bitcoin campaigns. Sad to say but such is the state of bitcointalk now.
Making a living with signature campaign earnings? That would really be risky thing to do and I cant even imagine that those small amounts of dollars on a single week payout would able to raise up a family.Thinking off that this amount is only good on buying me some can of beer. This is the sad reality on this forum which It do like a nest of bloodsuckers abusing campaigns for the sake of money for living. Not a total racism but this is too much for campaigns to be treated and this shouldn't really be the way.
8089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta on: December 14, 2017, 07:43:09 PM
etherdelta is a decentralized exchange, but for its use and its system is very difficult to understand. I was quite difficult to trade and some days I am very difficult to make a deposit or withdraw.
When we are still a newbie on this exchange we would really have a hard time on using it on first time.It isn't really noob friendly and it is really technical and cant be understand this is why I decide to read up their instruction together with youtube vidoes on how to use the site and later on I did able to understand on how to use it which I do find out its really an easy thing. It is just hard on the very first time but if you did already get the idea then it would be piece a cake. Setting out sufficient gas is recommended if you do like fast confirmation of orders.
8090  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin practically Anonymous (or Decentralized) ? I know, please read fully. on: December 14, 2017, 06:23:21 PM
I thought so too, but tell me please why it is impossible to track the hackers who hacked last week nicehash? They stole 4700 bitcoins. It's not a small amount and it seems to me that many who wish to trace those who did it. Probably not so simple as we think. Probably if desired bitcoin can provide anonymity. Or do you think that search of the hackers robbed nicehash do the Amateurs?

Because Bitcoin still has some anonymity. There's usually a trail, but there are specific cases where there simply isn't. This is one of those cases, as the hackers could simply create new addresses to send the hacked coins to. At that point, you know which addresses hold the coins, but not the owner. No part of the hackers' identity is public. That could change once the hackers start liquidating the coins though, as the trail will finally have endpoints to follow.

If you're a regular person that cashes out through an exchange or other people though, that essentially means part of your identity is public (your exchange address or the address you used to deal with the third party), and it could be used to trace your other addresses. There are still solutions to this, of course, like using a mixing service like Chipmixer before sending out your coins.
But most hackers wont really tend to do such stuff on not mixing on the coins that have been stolen into someone. They are not dumb enough to disclose their identity easily. They would normally make use methods which would really cover up the trail and would make the tracing would be more difficult or even impossible for you do search on and would end up tired and wont bother to investigate. Even on using directly a mixing service from the very start would really solve the problem on making that dirty money into a new one.
8091  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC offline? on: December 14, 2017, 05:32:30 PM
I can't login to the site anymore and alot of others too. Is it a scam?
You are not the only one do have this kind of problem since its down and cant really be accessed which this thing do usually happen on them on where it got become DDOS but eventually it doesn't mean that they do ran off all trader or investors money or become scam since they cant be accessed. For sure later on it would really be just fine and you would able to access it and would able to trade again. For now the best thing to do is wait and don't make such false claims that they are scam.I will guarantee you that they would really come back.
8092  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin accepted as a type of installment on: December 14, 2017, 04:36:23 PM
Would be Bitcoin still be high in demand if its introduced and accepted by the market worldwide ? or the Bitcoin sales will increase ?
Of course once btc is introduced and accepted by the market on a worldwide level it will have a higher demand. Which would also result to btc sales increase. Imagine if every establishments in the world accepts btc then the demand will go up and the price too. I imagine we'll have difficulty to get our hands on a single btc. Its price will be unbelievably high I'm not sure of I can afford anymore.
Once the bitcoin desire to be accepted as an online payment in the worldwide, then of course the market will be overwhelmed because 21 million Bitcoins total in the world. So of course there will be a lot of demand and the price will rise high, lucky that still keep btc in sufficient amount at that time.
Use bitcoin for online payments now. It's not a problem if both parties agree. I do a lot of computer components to buy for bitcoins. But this is not advantageous for small purchases because it is very high price for the transaction confirmation. Without solving this problem, bitcoin will not be used as means of payment.
When we do really try to see on its transaction fee then making it as a way of payment wont really make any sense specially if you do make micro transactions then fees would really be the main concern on here.I don't know what would be the solution on this one but eventually when this kind of situation on where fees are being bloated up they do eventually goes down later on.For now making transactions wont really be an ideal thing to do. Better to hold up and wait for the best time to make transactions which we can able to see that fees have been lowered down.
8093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Change rules in bounty programs. on: December 13, 2017, 11:27:36 PM
No contracts, etc. all build on trust. This is a problem that is difficult to solve.
Everyone is angry when they pay less than they promised. But how to solve it. Just do not support the project in the future. Tell everyone that the project is bad.

Yes, all was build in trust and i think they are privileged change rules bounties campaign with conditional the change must be notified on their website or bounty campaign topic before it's end the bounties campaign.
But i saw some ICOs changed bounties campaign rules without notify. It's like they're cheating participants
with this it is almost impossible to Fight and analyze every ico, we can say that almost every ico company sin precisely with the same changes in conditions. All participants can do nothing but stupidly perform their tasks.
We cant really do nothing if they would decide to change up the rules and payrates in the end of the ICO since they are the ones who do hold up the funds this is why I don't really like for those project that funds aren't being escrowed because the chance of changing payrates would really be high since they do have the full control of the funds and on the tokens available. They can do anything as they can. Sweet promises and generous allocations are just good to see when the campaign is just starting up but later on it would surely change if they do succeed on the sale.
8094  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: South-Korean authorities considering taxes on virtual currencies on: December 13, 2017, 11:02:11 PM
That won't be a problem at all. If that's the thing that will not not change their mind regarding to legality of Bitcoin there. Why not? Its better to charge tax to Bitcoin than to ban it. That is a messed up situation if that happen. Actually, US decided to do it to. So i don't think it's bad thing to follow US. And i think many countries will do this for sure. They should just atleast lower the tax rate and should be based on how much we earned on a particular year or month. So it wont be hurting small time traders like me.
It is okay to charge to us taxes. As long as it won't affect the relation of Bitcoin and altcoin to a country. That wont be a problem.
I would go for the same thought too which I would rather accept that they would really impose taxes rather than on totally banning it. It would be more acceptable and we can able to handle the terms and as being said taxes should really be not high because not all people do have the same capacity on making huge profits on trades. It would really hurt us up trader come to think that theres an exchange fee together with taxes then how much percentage would be left for us? Huh
8095  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit.net is a scam ? on: December 13, 2017, 10:47:19 PM
Waiting for Weeks to reset my Password.
If they don`t fix it in the next days, i'll be foreced to press charges against them.
What happened? Are you hacked? If you lost your password it's your negligence and not yobit though they are really poor when it comes to supporting their users and I'm also pissed off with them already. Stop using them if you don't want to have those worst feeling of withdrawal and other support queries. Always review people's experience and keep on reading traders point of view on this exchange.
You are right which Yobit doesn't have any involvement if you do lose up your password since it is really a users negligence why he do such lose such account password but you can anytime reset it since you do have the valid informations keep on those times that you are just registering but if you don't have those credentials then most likely you aren't the owner of such account and theres nothing you can do on making such access on it.Yobit isn't a scam but on their past and current issues it can be considered that they are scam.
8096  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to protect my computer against external mining? on: December 13, 2017, 10:08:49 PM
Being hacked from an unprotected or worse yet a duplicate SSID Wi-Fi network is easy to avoid by running a VPN kill switch setup. Being hacked for bitcoin mining is the least of your worries. Anyone using a novel exploit will NOT be picked up by antivirus or blocked by a firewall.

A VPN is the only answer!
Well said but for stronger and worry free protection then I would suggest having a Anti-virus + VPN would already block these sites specially you are logging in on public wife's which is really vulnerable either on stealing informations and do execute possible mining script but mostly on these external mining are caused or possible to be done when you do access a certain website and then automatically the script run out and you wont even notice that you are already mining for them.I have experienced this but having and Antivirus alone will really exterminate this hidden operation.
8097  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: December 13, 2017, 09:24:47 PM
For me, every time is the best time to buy or enter into bitcoin if you are willing to learn and earn. Yes, sometimes bitcoin price is decreasing, and that can be an excellent moment to purchase it, but it will be tough to predict if it will increase or decrease. But if you have the resources, money, and knowledge about it just buy it because bitcoin price is still growing. Smiley
There is no a good or bad time for bitcoin to invest, it just need a proper planning and management of time. The price of bitcoin is increasing day by day because day by day the use of bitcoin is increasing due to its unlimited benefits but its amount is fixed as it is a currency. One can invest any time in bitcoin if he wants and I think any time is best to invest in bitcoin.
If we are pertaining or going for long term then I would say anytime would be the best time to buy bitcoin and if op did able to buy on the time he posted this thread then for sure hes on profits seeing the price of bitcoin did rise up eventually into new heights which are good for short and long term traders but if you are really concern on short time profits then buying out on a certain point would really be important which its advisable to buy up when theres a pullback happening on its price.
8098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Science of Withdrawal from Bittrex on: December 13, 2017, 06:10:46 PM
Recently Bittrex wants verification for traders to verify and stop scammers. It is better for you to verify and it doesn't take much time.

and how this correlates with the anonymity of transactions ?

This exchange is not a decentralized one unlike on Etherdelta which you wont really need any KYC verifications knowing that these exchanges do need to follow some regulation specially if they are basing on a country which do have strict implementation regarding on these kind of businesses this is why they do really require this rule to avoid money laundering on any case which they do really need to implement KYC and now seeing on what happen here on Op,the thing he can do now is wait, verification duration is just like hitting up a jackpot when they did verify you on a short of time possible.
8099  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How is Bitcoin taxed?? on: December 12, 2017, 07:23:52 PM
I've been trying to figure out how Bitcoin is taxed before I trade. Does anyone know?
Okay lets assume that you do mean about direct taxation on bitcoin then this thing is impossible since bitcoin cant really be taxed directly since its a decentralized thing this is why government doesnt really like it since they cant able to control it but when we do talk on indirect way of taxation then this time is possible where they would really regulate those things which do involve into bitcoin business like on exchanges which they would really imposed taxes but well depending on a certain country on where those exchangers located.

hi guys I have applied for signature campaign how I will know my application is approved or not and I want to join signature campaign can you recommend me any signature campaign to join according to my rank.
I do see some Bitcoin signature campaigns that do accept Jr. members but when i do check out your post quality, frankly speaking you dont have any chance to be accepted seeing that you do have a 1 liner spam post which managers wont really like to see on people who do apply. For now if you do really insist on joining campaigns then better to try and enhance your post quality on bounty campaigns since they arent too strict when it comes on how you post as long you do follow their rules then you should be fine.
