8161  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Would you use crypto-currency to buy appliances? on: October 26, 2017, 05:10:29 PM
Let's face it, crypto-currency is gaining too much momentum to be considered a "fad"...  With that in mind, the company that I work for is looking to be an innovator in our field and add Bitcoin as an acceptable payment method!

Our primary customers are in the commercial restaurant/commercial kitchen industry, but I am curious to see how individuals "in the know" feel about using Bitcoin or other crypto-currencies to pay for kitchen appliances.  Our basic model is that all pricing would be in $USD and if refunds are required, the amount refunded would be in $USD or the market equivalent of Bitcoin on the day the refund is processed.

We would be the first company in our "space" to accept BTC and we will be watched under a microscope by our competitors.  We want to ensure that we have all of our ducks in a row before launching this initiative, but we feel that accepting BTC will open up unexplored territory for our business.  Our target audience will be forward thinking, early adopting entrepreneurs who are looking to strike while the BTC iron is glowing red-hot!  According to http://bitcoinrestaurants.net/, more and more restaurants are accepting BTC so it only makes sense that they would prefer to spend BTC directly from their "wallet" to save to hassle of converting to $USD.  Market research suggests that www.overstock.com accepts over 60 different types of crypto-currency which accounts for .2% (>$2 million) of their total revenue so this seems like a viable move for us.

Long story short, it isn't a matter of "if" we plan on accepting BTC, but a matter of "when".  Please feel free to offer any thoughts, suggestions, comments, feedback, etc. that may help us usurp any potential future pain points.  This is a very exciting time and I am anxious to see how you feel about this project and what your replies have to offer!

Thank you in advance for your time and responses!
Why not? That would really be a convenient thing for me on where i do able to spend already my bitcoins directly without the need of converting on fiat but on this situation it would really still vary because wasting up your bitcoins on this common transactions which you can actually be done on using fiat which is more wiser. It would depend if you would make use of btc but for me its much better to save up for longer runs.As long we can still use up our fiat on common or traditional stuffs then its still a good option.
8162  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be Taxed...... on: October 26, 2017, 03:54:50 PM
This is interesting could be a mass following with this. South Korea is preparing to Tax bitcoin use after the cryptocurrency's trading volume sky-rocked. This could spark a new trend is everyone battles to see how to control the life of cryptocurrency's

Not only South Korea, Russia is preparing to Tax, Poland have already Tax in place when you withdraw your Fiat from Bitcoin you need to pay Taxman 18%, USA, Canada, Denmark, Sweden and UK are Bitcoin-friendly countries.
18% on fee conversion is too much.Seems like they do love bitcoin too much  Grin Or just going to the trend since they know that people can make good amounts thats why they decide to impose those ridiculous high tax.
On my own local wallet, conversion of bitcoin to our local fiat doesnt really require any fees. There might be some on conversion but really on small percentage which is somehow considerable.
8163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help recover stolen bitcoins?? How did it happen? on: October 25, 2017, 11:40:09 PM
In that case, it probably is not a virus.  It is probably malware.
Nowadays these are practically synonyms,

No, they aren't.

In that case, it probably is not a virus.  It is
and antiviruses detect both.

Anti-virus software may try to detect some malware, but it would be impossible for it to detect all malware.
This is why i dont really trust completely on anti-viruses which even if i do have AV i dont usually download random things online. Come to think off that they are just the online ones who do made viruses for the sake that they Anti-virus would sell off.(Just my own view). Regarding on op,that was a big loss 0.6 btc is already a big amount if you do see on current price of bitcoin and reversing the transaction isnt possible.Forget those coins and move on.
8164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: October 25, 2017, 06:52:18 PM
every person have wish to earn more many in their life and for that every person want to join permanent job. but usually salaries of permanent jobs are not to bit so many people want to do trading together with their job  and its best decision only if you are able to manage time for both works.

If you involved in bitcoin trading and any reputed signature campaign when your rank is more you will be able to make more you can make in the day job. Apart from European country people every one will definetely get in to the bitcoin related earning to make profit.
In trading you just need to follow up the value in the price graph and add it accordingly in the trading account your profit will be always in your hand some.
This is actually possible with those combined earnings it is really sufficient enough for you to live and earn more than on the amounts you can earn on your day stable job but knowing these things arent constant or on daily earning basis which would really depend on how good you are specially on trading. Its easy to say that we can earn money but once you are on the actual situation it would already be a different story.
8165  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value on: October 25, 2017, 05:34:37 PM
Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value
No coin came from fork would able to increase its value even on the half price of bitcoin.Going back in previous months on where Bitcoin cash did go out. We did able to see the sudden increase on its price but it do only managed to hit the ath of $1k usd and then suddenly dip its price and now it stabilizes and now talking on the bitcoin gold situation it is almost striving to live out.Just like what being mentioned above  Grin
8166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you explain the drop of BTC Gold? on: October 25, 2017, 04:45:41 PM
I supposed BTC Gold would be a rocketing currency. But the drop by 70% showed all my predictions were nothing!! Why???
What you do really expect from bitcoin gold?I dont really see any special thing on it which it would really be destined to be dump and most people will surely do such thing rather than on holding it knowing that bitcoin gold is free money after all for those people who do stored up bitcoin before the fork and now they do really dump it for easy money. Its just a normal thing to do.
8167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AltCoin pump over already ?? to late to buy ?? on: October 24, 2017, 10:06:41 PM
Just wondering if the pump is over? I bought back my original portfolio a couple of days ago at a lower price, I was looking forward to a good Alt Coin pump but it seems to have slowed right down. Any chance the Alt's might rise again in the next day or 2 ? Huh Huh Huh Huh
No one can give you definite answer on this one since as an investor and a trader this is really just a common question among on our altcoin holdings.Seeing on the market most them are on greens. It might be on fast pace or slow pace movements of gradual increase but yet this thing would depend on the target profits you have been set out.
8168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin trading is very bad now. on: October 24, 2017, 09:46:14 PM
when the Bitcoin price keeps going up what are you doing now? hold it or be traded with altcoin.
I'm stuck in a very difficult situation now. I suffered losses in some altcoins that I bought for a high price. some rumors say that prices will be rebound back next month.
However, I'm confused better to hold altcoin and sell it after the price recovers or sell all altcoin to get BCG?
someone please give me some advice  Cry Cry
Not at all. Back on those times that op did right this stuff. Most of altcoin in the market are on reds which i did decide to buy and go shopping on cheap prices which i do see a good opportunity for us to make money later on and now my assumptions are becoming true on where we do able to see most altcoins are pumping now. Easy profits  Grin In a matter of few days.
8169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The END of ICO's? on: October 24, 2017, 09:28:33 PM
There would be more crackdown on ICOs in 2018, but that will not slow down the raising of funds by both genuine and scamy projects

Maybe not a crackdown, but a shift to a regulated direction. It will lead people in hiding to stay there, and will force more fiat currency enter the market.
Crackdown isnt really appropriate to use on this kind of thing. Regulation will surely happen since they are already making the steps first when it comes to ICO which it wont really be the end but yet the new start on having a regulated one. I do somehow agree on this kind of adjustment to lessen the risk of scams and fraud.
8170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 Quick Question on: October 23, 2017, 05:59:36 PM
As someone looking forward to taking part in bounty campaigns, I've been wondering how easy it is to exchange altcoins.

Would it be true to say that all ERC20-based coins can be freely exchanged to ETH?

This is my main concern at this point, I wouldn't like to be paid in something I'll have to sit on for months, before it appears on exchange(s).

Pardon my noobie Q! Thx Roll Eyes
Yes, this is just like on traditional way on exchanging your altcoin into bitcoin which you can actually convert your erc20 tokens directly on ETH which you can mostly see this on Etherdelta since those coins listed are all erc20 tokens which this is the most known site when it comes for a new coin will really get in directly on this exchange easily.
8171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: October 23, 2017, 04:55:28 PM
This is why I say, trading is actually gambling. You cant predict a coin's future by just seeing its team or the value. Lots of factors comes into the picture when you say unpredictable.

True. This applies especially to cryptocurrencies. We have to keep in mind that these are highly volatile investments. Not only that, these are risky investments particularly because they do not have regulation. You can wake up with all the richness in the world in the same way you can wake up with absolutely nothing. And because it is intangible, it can be gone in an instant leaving you no vested right to claim against authorities. It is actually investing at your own risk. So, we better be smart!
This is actually true and which i do believe too that it would somehow need luck for you to be come millionaire on this trading world and yes its indeed and unpredictable job after all since prices would really be volatile and as being said you would possibly wake up to be a millionaire or either a broke person if prices would go as planned or on opposite way this is why we should really be a risk taker and do ready on the risk on the first time we do invest.
8172  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: October 23, 2017, 04:04:04 PM
If we were taking globally, then yes, but not in our lifetime.

Sweden is only one of the few countries that are already practicing a 'cashless society'. Scandinavian countries, are another. But, some parts of the world don't even practice a credit system.

Even most developed countries like America and Japan are still reliable to paper bills for their day-to-day transactions.

There is a possibility, and digital currency is helping create that vision. Cheers!
Japan is one of the few developed countries that still uses cash extensively, which was quite a surprise for me the first time I went there. I even had to pay rent in cash at the bank and couldn't just wire transfer it... Wasn't exactly fun having to go to the bank or a convenience store every month just to pay bills.
They did really legalize bitcoin but doesnt mean they are removing already their tradition fiat system. It would really still remain no matter what. They might already adopted it but cash wont really be extinct no matter what. How they would deal such thing if their currency would be converted to bitcoins? It would really be a complicated thing for sure.
8173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2017, 10:33:49 PM
I am a newbie in Bitcoin Forum.I know some of the most important uses of Bitcoin. They are:
1.You can buy a flight ticket.
2.You can rent a hotel room.
3.you can buy pizza and other food related goods.
4.You can use it as a investment vehicle because bitcoin will continue to grow in value.

I want to know other important uses of it.

Basically, you numbers one to three are the same purpose: For Transaction, while number four is investment. Just like one does with fiat too or any other article of value. These two categories are the major uses of the bitcoin.
If you do categorize them then it will just show up 2 things which same as you said it can be used on service and on investment side too.For now some services isnt really available on most countries but yet we can able to see that it is already being adopted on some parts of the world which is good but for those places who arent able to spend or use on services would most likely to use up their bitcoin holdings on investment matters.
8174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The target is to multiply [btc] not $. on: October 22, 2017, 10:03:59 PM
If you don't actually care about Bitcoin price, how would you multiply your bitcoins? Which Altcoin could be relevant to invest in - remember the price increase in satoshi is a goal not in $ ? Maybe some heads here have another idea, I would appreciate all help. Please Don't think in a way that of course, everybody wants to do this - but actually not ,  everybody wants to earn money-FIAT but I would rather multiply bitcoins and just keep them:) I'm interested in your strategy guys !!
They only way is thru diversification if you do really like to multiply your bitcoins. If you do tend to hold up for long term then its possible but it would really takes time and for sure not all people do really have the patience to keep their coin on idle state. You can possibly increase your holdings just like trading on alts on which most people are suggesting the same thing.
8175  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be Taxed...... on: October 22, 2017, 08:29:51 PM
I think it's perfectly natural if bitcoin is taxed
I guess so because the government will be depending to bitcoin by that time and it's going to be a very good help to the country, to other bitcoin users that are happy with this and it will be disappointing to the bitcoin users that really don't stand with this type of idea.

Actually, there is nothing to worry if having taxes imposed for those who are holding bitcoin unless it is not being abuse by the authorities. Paying taxes is just a big contribution  to our economy, at least we can contribute even in a little amount. All generated taxes are for their projects that the community can benefit on this.

There's nothing to worry because we all love that the government will support bitcoin and this is just the return of their support. When bitcoin will be taxed, other alt coins should be imposed with tax too because we are mostly focus with bitcoin, the government rather. As the taxation will start, others can possibly jump to alt coins that doesn't have tax so it's fair that all crypto's will be taxed.
We will have to pay the tax to the government if and only if the government announces it to be legalized across the country.

In that case, this will help the government to make the economic situation of the country better but it will also take the money from the pockets of those who are having bitcoin as by now, they are not paying even a single penny to anyone in the form of tax.
Actually bitcoin is making economy of country even more better if they study about bitcoin seriously if they don't study about bitcoin and they want to ban bitcoin then it's there big mistake because bitcoin is making everyone life better while government cannot play that role like bitcoin. So it's better for every nation to allow bitcoin if they want to become a best country around the world by economically.
I dont think soo which bitcoin can really improve ones economy since we do know people can potentially not able to pay their taxes correctly once they do accept bitcoin knowing on its anonymity aspect it is really possible and this is one of the reasons why most government doesnt really accept or adopt bitcoin because it cant be taxed directly but yet they can impose taxes on the services involve on it.
8176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen when BTC hits max number of coins on: October 22, 2017, 03:13:02 PM
The number of bitcoins is fixed and estimated to hit the taget in 2140. What do you think will happen then?
Well, that’s it. We just stare at it and nothing else is gonna happen. There will be no more mining or anything similar to that. Every faucets is likely to close down also, and there will be no more free money. We are then left with a particular amount and the only thing I think will happen is people starting investment in altcoins.
I do assume the same thing too which if people find out all bitcoins have been mined already then we do really seek for another coin for sure which we can actually able to make money or even mine it but yet the price of bitcoin would really be valuable on that time and the miners will really only focused on pushing transactions since theres no bitcoin that can be mine at all.
8177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins are dying on: October 21, 2017, 05:01:06 PM
Altcoins are dying and some will be dead. Bitcoin murdered them and now I want to murder my self.

Lolol hold on dude we in the same boat. The waves are rocky right now but the boat has not tipped over yet. Lets wait a week or two and see if alts dont do a recovery dance real quick. That will give you indication if you are

truly in a sinking ship or just a rocky one at the moment. Time will tell all Smiley
I agree on what you have said on which we are really just on the same boat on where the stress and frustrations seeing our altcoin holdings are most on red which would somehow give doubts and panic which i do really say its normal. Havent you get used to cryptoworld? This thing do really happen for sometime specially when theres an event. Eventually prices would really goes back to normal.
8178  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: October 21, 2017, 03:54:29 PM
Even if people are not using bitcoins or not aware about bitcoins we are heading towards cashless society where people prefer to pay with debit/credit cards at a moment and when they will come to know about bitcoins I am sure many people will start using bitcoins for making payments.
Theres a possibility since we are evolving when it comes into technology when there would really be a point on where theres a proposal for such cashless society which would decide up to make things digitalized specially on monetary system. People will surely be forced to adopt it because government do really require but i would say this kind of adjustment would really takes time since not all people do really have the knowledge on such digitalize things.
8179  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a TRADER on: October 20, 2017, 06:31:30 PM
I want to learn to trade and become acquainted with the field of crypto currency trading. what should I do? I am currently reading trading technical analysis but I do not understand technical analysis and a pattern. I tried to live trading I earned a .001 btc. I prefer more profit than trading.
You are actually doing trading already since you are making 0.001 btc which no matter how small amount it is as long you do already make money on just trading then its considered you are already a trader. The thing here is that you do like to maximize your potential income by doing it which isnt really easy at all but yet you can just stick on how you do make trades as long you do profit then it should be fine.
8180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Earn Ethereum ? on: October 20, 2017, 11:22:40 AM
Applying for airdrops is the best and safe way to earn ether. I earned more than 2 ether by airdrops although I'm still a newbie.
Good for you that you did able to earn 2 ether and i assume that you do earn that amount on joining on airdrops?Am i right? Since this is the most common way for now specially on lots of erc20 tokens being launched as of now on having their airdrop and even newbie would able to join that one because it doesnt really require ranks when you would take part. Some of them do require but some doesnt really care at all as long you do comply on what they need.
I also did that when I was in newbie rank and even now I still applying for latest airdrops that I've found now. But there's a lot campaign  in Bounty ICO that you may able to earn etherium ,like social media ,signatures, transactions and many more options.
Yeah, social campaign always open for anyone and the salary from this campaign also high as signature campaign.
Especially, you do not need to spend much time to farming your social account as signature campaign, create accounts social is not difficult for us.
This is true. which social accounts can really be used for bounties which a good sideline rather than standby which i do really do this thing to make money and yes you can really earn some good amounts but yet would depend if a certain coin or project would succeed. These social campaigns doesnt really require too much time compared on signature and other task.
