821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] DeepOnion 🧅 Modern Privacy with Real Use Cases 🧅 DeepOnion News on: May 29, 2020, 03:14:53 PM
Many members here still hope that Onion will return to its proper status! Everyone is paying attention to the development team. There is no doubt that without the support of a large number of users, coins will be difficult to survive. I don't know if a miracle will appear, let us wait and see!
There's nothing called miracle in a product or in a coin. If it has enough thing to get attention from potential investors or if it has some real life usage, project will be in better situation. Other than that, no coin will survive and so does ONION. DEV team isn't doing what they need to do at all. The project needs further developement, expand with business IRL etc but there's nothing I can see.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My 0.1 BTC Journey on: May 29, 2020, 02:26:24 PM
Nice to hear that you decided to accumulate BTC as much as possible. Congrats on your achievement. However, I would suggest you not to share things like this anywhere, not even in this forum. It may make you a target to hack your wallet or even if you hold a big amount, you may be a target IRL.
I recommend you to stay private on such things.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the price of bitcoin increases on: May 29, 2020, 02:14:50 PM
If the max supply changes with no changes in other things or changes in other, that would not be anymore bitcoin, that will another shitcoin which we have a lot at this moment. People used to believe BTC as the store of value because it's not unlimited.

HELLO!

IS ANYONR NOT CRYING YET? IS ANYONE ALIVE?

Almost 3 years following and no decent exchange yet. RIP
Whoever have invested in DeepOnion have to cry, it's by default. You know what ONION is, don't you? Kidding.
Yeah, you are right. During the peak, we could have been listed in big tier exchange and we we don't have to sit on such a situation. The problem is with the management. We don't have that.
825  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Flag] Bruno AKA Phinnaeus Gage, Gleb Gamow, YuTü.Co.in, Bitcoin 100 & ??? on: May 28, 2020, 05:25:22 PM
but whether an online obituary that seemingly anyone can create is sufficient proof or not.
The question here is why does someone have to create a fake obituary? I don't see any effect when someone fakes it  Roll Eyes I suppose this obituary is fake, then everyone  believe that Bruno died. As soon as Bruno's account was active and posting, people reacted violently to it. What are the benefits of fake obituary? Who will benefit from counterfeiting it? Nobody, I just see the disadvantage here, so I suppose no one tries to fake it without any benefit, am I wrong?
No ChuckBuck, you just got hilariousetc wrong. If the death certificate is fake, someone is taking advantages here. Why would someone would fake his death? If it's fake, it means Bruno's previous thread was also kind of fake, to get donated some money.
I don't think Bruno's death is fake although.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does marketcap value shows the coin price stability? on: May 28, 2020, 04:58:52 PM
Small market can easily be manipulated but higher marketcap doesn't necessarily mean that price will not be volatile. BTC marketcap is the highest, still it can fluctuated and manipulated by big whale. We have seen how BTC behave, even within 1 or 2 hours trade.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PROMOTION TURNS WOE on: May 28, 2020, 02:32:32 PM
Which project you are talking about, can you share one wyich has been destroyed for bounty rewards dumping? Uou may list a few thousands but how much of them had a real use case, how much of them had kept the promise they made before fund raising, how much of them are a project which the world needs? It will be less than 0.001%. If they don't have any use case, if the world doesn't need such a project, how can their price will rise?
When a project come with advertising plan and fix a reward pool for bounty, I'm sure they account the affect of the amount. If they do, why will it affect badly, if they don't, do you think they are a good project at all?
It's all about the project itself which can bring the success, not the bounty hunter nor the airdrop. Don't blame on people for which you are doing too.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💜 [ONION] DeepOnion 💜 Modern Privacy with Real Use Cases 💜 DeepOnion News on: May 28, 2020, 02:12:52 PM
I plan on talking to the owner of a pizza shop that I frequent about the possibility of him accepting DeepOnion for payment as soon as this covid thing dies down a little more.
That sounds cool. As the DEV team said, it's possible to reward users who can bring any partnership for DeepOnion. Looking forward to you.

But it's not only about porn and dating, there are other kinds of fun for adults such as gambling or betting which might be suitable for privacy coins.
So far, I have personally contacted 3 different business to discuss about implementation of DeepOnion on their business, no good luck there. How much contacts our team has done? I think none. There's nothing wrong with being a currency of a porn site, dating site etc. But it needs contacts, it needs the goal set up also known as roadmap which we don't have.

Phinnaeus Gage account is clearly hacked or overtaken or the F. This is clear that Bruno died (RIP brother) and this MF whoever he is, now in control of this account. I already left a neg to this account with my statement but I can not support this flag on Phinnaeus Gage account.
I think you should support the flag on Phinnaeus Gage account. Flag has been created so that the account can't scam anyone and other user can see what's wrong with the account.
Since Bruno is dead, you are supporting flag against the account owner, I uunderstand your point although.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💜 [ONION] DeepOnion 💜 Modern Privacy with Real Use Cases 💜 DeepOnion News on: May 27, 2020, 03:26:16 PM
Also saw some interesting news about DeepOnion's competitor Verge. They have a new partnership which enables them to be available for purchase via fiat in 13000 ATMs in South Korea. I consider DeepOnion as better coin than Verge in terms of tech, but in terms of marketing, promotion and strategic partnerships, DeepOnion can learn a lot.
Verge is also accepted in Pornhub which I think is a good one for them. But our community was so naive that most of them took it as negative way. I don't have any data on Verge usage in pornhub but I'm sure that will not be too low. They have this real adoption while we don't have any.

2. Electrum  (PC)
RBF method is supported in Electrum mobile wallet too. I have done that several times. You have to opt in RBF before releasing a tx, otherwise, you will not be able to increase the fee later.
834  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner's Guide to Transaction Fees on: May 26, 2020, 02:33:03 PM
There's a thread made by another member long ago- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153031.0 although yours one is more detailed and include more info for beginners.

Using a Segwit address: segwit addresses are designed to reduce the size of transactions created, thus reducing the fees involved in spending inputs. Some would say that segwit increases the block size, I cannot however confirm this, with contributions in the comments we may be able to.
This is a misconception, most of the users are in this misconception. You can check the explanation here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5198733.msg52985661#msg52985661
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💜 [ONION] DeepOnion 💜 Modern Privacy with Real Use Cases 💜 DeepOnion News on: May 26, 2020, 02:00:08 PM
Yes, SEO optimization is absolutely crucial.
In domination task, I have only seen related task for increasing the presence of DeepOnion website with certain keywords targeting privacy coin, also all that works are not so good directly related with SEO. However, I never have seen any update from the team on what SEO work or what marketing progress is taking on to bring DeepVault in the attention of potential customers.

Sounds good, we can give it a try.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: May 26, 2020, 01:54:22 PM
It's very important to have connection with all the possible social media accounts if you are investing in a project for getting update and announcement. However, I doubt many investors use social media. Also, all these updates are available in all the coin tracking websites. I think most people just keep tracking information from such sites.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: May 26, 2020, 01:46:08 PM
Do you thing lighting network And segwit can solve bitcoin high fees problem ?? No can’t.

If Lightning network get enough adoption, the problem with fee will be solved because people can be able to send/receive btc with very low fee. I think LN will solve that.

Just a few addition for the users above who made some good enlightening. You can always opt to use other alts which has low transaction fees, dogecoin is one example.
If you're not in a hurry, you can still choose to have lower fee, but would take a bit longer to reach your wallet.

Nevertheless, this high transaction fees doesn't stay forever anyway. People are already expecting this to happen after the halving.

This is what I'm doing when I want to transfer Bitcoin from an exchange.
That's unrelated here, we are talking about bitcoin fee. Also, considering the fee of exchange is totally off topic here. Centralize service may charge whatever fee rhey want.
838  Economy / Reputation / Re: Phinnaeus Gage account just posted. on: May 26, 2020, 12:57:12 AM

It's the same image Bruno (Bruno?) posted earlier on his plea thread. The image was from 12.04.19 which seems to be very old but no one questioned at that time? No one wanted to verify that it was Bruno or not? Someone had credentials of his account long ago?
I'm not sure, can a death be faked?
Anyone tried to contact the Spring Valley Hospital? Their "Contact Us" doesn't work. I tried to contact with them but failed. That would bring some proof.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TRUSTED PROJECT BOUNTY OR JUST SCAM ? on: May 25, 2020, 02:27:16 PM
Honestly speaking, almost all the bounty are shit scam prpject other than less than 1% of the project. It would be better not wasting your time unless it's a good campaign manager managing the project. Better stay away from newbie or shit campaign manager.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Having trouble understanding relationship between BTC price and Alt prices. on: May 25, 2020, 01:55:34 PM
It depends on what profit you are looking for. Is it fiat you are accounting or is it BTC. Most of my short term investment focus is to increase my BTC. If I get higher BTC than my invested amount, no matter what the price in fiat is. I will take the profit despite BTC price against fiat is low.
