Good day to you Sir. I hope we can move on amicably.

Deal!  It was not my intention to show any animosity to you!  Cool
822  Other / Meta / Re: Anunymint ban on: July 17, 2018, 08:40:16 PM

Insane.

I give you win!  I'm not gonna re-hash what's been said there is no value in that for anyone!

Good day sir!
823  Other / Meta / Re: Anunymint ban on: July 17, 2018, 08:16:04 PM
Shelby has been here for 5 years also. I bet he was online in the forum more than you. Why are you so special?
I don't doubt he was online more than me, that stat is also irrelevant.  I actually never indicated that I thought I was special.  If you think I'm special well thanks that's nice of you!  I am however a user just like you and Shelby, thus my opinion is as valid as your's or his!  Incidentally one of the difference's (and it doesn't make me special, thousands of users managed this!) between his 5 years and mine is that I've been able to follow the rules and not get banned.
Quote
I read what both sides claim and we all have to choose which side they feel[I must chose for everyone what] is right.
FTFY

If that's how you read what I wrote then there is little to say on that.  Advocating to follow very few, very simple rules is simply not trying to chose for everyone and frankly it's a ridiculous transition.

Quote
Nobody has answered his repeated up-thread “What rules?”

Of course they have, try to look at the responses again.  Constantly evading your ban, ie sneaking back when banned is breaking the rules, is this that difficult to actually understand?

Quote
Bottom line is you totalitarians think he is incorrigible and you want to control him but you do not apply the same control to all users of the forum as he has documented.

The argument that just because other users aren't caught and punished therefore when I am caught and punished it is a conspiracy is so fucking tired and old, especially around here, it's like calling everyone Nazis, give us a break.

Quote
And you are unwilling to submit to decentralized moderation stored on a decentralized ledger. And thus bitcointalk.org must be disintermediated, because as you can see (as Shelby warned you last year) the spam is getting worse and the users are growing weary of the “junk posts”.

Mod policy has little to with me but I am will to submit to the current forum rules.  I can hear it now the whole bunny in the wood chipper, ya ya I know, I'm a happy little bunny!

Quote
The forum is dying. Observe what happens.

I agree the forum has a SERIOUS signal to noise ratio problem but it really doesn't seem like an easy fix (or it would have happened already).  I am still hopeful a solution can be found!

824  Other / Meta / Re: Anunymint ban on: July 17, 2018, 07:30:55 PM
Read rule #25 and then you can see why I assume that account was banned (No I did not ban it).

Dude if you read and follow the rules you can say almost ANYFUCKINGTHING here on this forum.  I have yet to see a user following the rules receive a ban for just a controversial opinion.

Although the forum is absolutely centralized you will find very few medium that allows you as much freedom as here.  Just don't break the very few, very simple rules and you will be 100% fine!

Shelby (aka @AnonyMint) claimed the opposite up-thread.
He claims he was banned originally because he wrote critically about Monero and Ethereum and because he was insulting (those who were also insulting Shelby) influential anonymous members such as @gmaxwell1, @Foxpup, @stereotype, @Lauda, @iCEBREAKER, etc..
Shelby claims that the original “multi-posting” allegation (which he entirely stopped doing a long-time ago) is something everyone does (look here is a link to (archived here) @aliashraf doing it yesterday) and was a fabricated reason to silence him because he is the one who speaks with the most critical technological rigor on the entire forum.

I based my statement off my observation of the forum over the last 5+ years here.

I read what both sides claim and we all have to choose which side they feel is right.  Based on my personal experience here in the forums and the information I've read so far I am inclined to believe his constant breaking of rules is the reason for his ban and not the conspiracy theory side. (I don't generally buy into a lot of conspiracy theories, but that's me).

I don't have Telegram, you will never find a Telegram account associated with me.

Seeing as you're a lying sack of shit we have only your untrustworthy word that you don't have telegram (although lots of additional methods exist outside of BCTC and telegram).  How could we possibly prove or even believe that.

Quote
need I to remind you again what kind of a hypocrite you are?

Yes please do I would love to hear about my supposed hypocrisy, since it comes from your deluded brain I would love to read some nice fiction!

Hey btw how is the -64 treating you, lol fucking simpleton!

I'm not harassing anybody here, I'm being harassed by them

When you literally make stuff up about people and post it all over the fucking forum most normal people consider that harassing.  Of course you lack simple common sense skills so it isn't a surprise you can't understand this like the rest of the world!
826  Other / Meta / Re: Anunymint ban on: July 17, 2018, 03:32:53 PM
I have stated my objection against banning anonymint,  I'm not here to discuss the details, just received a pm that his latest account @Shelby_Moore_III is banned again?
I thought posting in Meta is a norm for people to discuss their situation when they get banned. Shelby broke some other rule here? What rule? I'm really concerned about this whole story, Are we in danger?

I'm not good with Core, I don't believe in their agenda and don't think they are super-genius, and worse, I am used to calling them junior hackers, kids, ... Should I be worried about being humiliated and banned? And then sentenced to death or something?

And after my death, my posts will be removed permanently and my ghost won't be allowed to come here (like being summoned) to tell the truth about how I've been assassinated.

It is so terrifying, dudes, what should I do? Bending knees? Noways!

Bump, marlboroza is helping scammers to get away with promoting scam ICOs and he has tagged me when I tried to help people. this DT2 member is directly moderating the trust system by tagging or removing the red tags on people.
Where? He is not helping scammers to get away. The correct word would be: Giving users a second chance.

Need I remind you, he did the same for you. He gave you a second chance, you fucked it up. Do people have to repeat the same thing to make you understand what is really going on? Even if you changed your terms, you started harassing every single DT member, be it marlboroza, be it suchmoon, be it actmyname, Vod, OgNasty, hilariousandco and not to mention theymos.

Read marlboroza's tag on you again:

This user continues to spread lies, harassing forum members, DT and moderators/stuff, running very shady law practice service which consist of trolling DT members and spreading lies all over the forum.

He's still running around the forum lying.  He's has learned nothing and IMO is incapable of learning anything at this point.  He simply makes stuff up to suit his agenda.

Just a couple of days ago he claimed he could talk to the admin and get a reconsideration for banned users.  Maybe trying to start an unbanning service scamming users out of BTC who are desperate to get their accounts back.  He could be on telegram roping in desperate banned bounty hunters as we speak!

He doesn't need to ask for money on the forum he probably gets a PM or sends them a PM and sends them to telegram, collects the coin and calls it a day, no one on BTCT is any the wiser.

Of course the backpedaling starts immediately which is 100% typical of digaran.

we shall all learn our lessons in time.  The banning of this account will be looked upon fondly in the future.  These things happen for a reason so you shouldn't oppose the destiny of the universe.

How many accounts do you all have? I can talk with the admin for a reconsideration, I just need to know the names of your accounts to check the quality of their posts and as a former merit source I know a few things about the quality of posts.

Gratz Bill!  That's a nice win there dude!

Note to self, never enter a raffle that Bill is entered in!!!

Bill can you tell us how you hacked the BTC network to ensure the hash came out favourably (PM preferred we wouldn't want everyone to know eh??) !!  Grin

I'm sure you have kitchen knives more menacing than this knife
I absolutely do, I also have a Gerber Broadcut machete with a fucking 13.1" blade I use for hacking bush and it is a beast and quite menacing.  When the zombie apocalypse hits that motherfucker will be chopping heads with me!!!.  I bought that quite legally from Bass Pro (Cabela's up here).

I literally I have no information why they are holding them.  All it says in the letter I got is they are holding them to "determine admissibility"  I called the number and emailed them but it did say in the letter it would be about 8 weeks.  A neighbour of mines is a broker and is going to try to help me but until they decide yes or no all I can do now is wait!

In terms of being destroyed, as I understand it if they are deemed as prohibited they immediately become property of the Canadian Government.  All "prohibited" weapons seized are destroyed.

That's extremely interesting to me
Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence eh?  Happy to continue this discussion elsewhere brother!

830  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] Bitcoin knives Part 2 on: July 16, 2018, 03:50:05 PM
FH, I thought you were in America the same as me? What could possibly be making customs/delivery take so long? Mine cleared extremely quickly, and has already arrived. Granted, it is the other design of knife, but I can't imagine that changes things very much. Also, what do you mean if you're lucky enough to get them? What would cause them to be ceased or returned? 6-weeks seems like an absurdly long amount of time for it to remain in transit, are you sure they haven't just lost your package?

That's a negative brother!  I'm Canadian, born and bread in the great white north!!!!

We have retardedly restrictive laws regarding weapons.  In this case it seems Canada Border Services is holding my knives because they believe the blades are too long and thus are considered a prohibited weapon and can not be imported...  I am trying with some help to claim them as exempt being a "collectible" but I was told not to hold my breath LOL!  If I don't get them they will be destroyed because they are illegal here...  Ya fucked up I know.

Part of the reason the American Politics interest me so much is I am EXTREMELY envious of some of the freedom's yall have that we up here don't.  Not to mention Canadian politics is boring as fuck LOL.  Don't get me wrong Canada is an amazing place to live and we have some great things I really love but man it's not perfect

Received knife! Thankyou Wink

I'm so JELLY!  But happy you got yours bro!!

Thanks bro...yours still in customs?

Ya man and it's gonna be another 2 months if I'm lucky enough to get them!  I'm also still waiting on another order from the EU which has been in transit more than 6 weeks iirc.  So I've been a little shy about participating in the raffles and auctions lately  Angry  Such is life I guess eh!!

I'll make sure to fix it myself, sorry about that FH. I am happy to see this forum going in the right direction though, we've needed some moderation for a LONG LONG TIME. Thanks FH

Absolutely no need to apologize brother!  I very much appreciate anyone making an effort to make things more readable.  If we all try a little things will improve for all of us!

I kind of figure if people don't know I'm here and I'm just doing some cleaning in the background I think I will be doing my "job" correctly!

Anyways debate away pls ladies and gentlemen!
835  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Request For Help From P&S Regulars on: July 15, 2018, 03:27:18 PM
I pop my head into this board now and then, looking for differences of opinion, intellectual stimulation, social commentary and a few other things; I have noticed an improvement on this board since you became moderator FH. I want to let you know that you're doing a great job, and this quote initiative is certainly needed in specifically this board. If I come across any quotes that fit your criteria, I'll certainly remember this post and adjust accordingly.

Thanks Bill the kind words are appreciated!  I do my best, I sometimes think I'm a little lax but to be honest if anyone is here to join in actual discussion I want them to have their say and be heard.

I won't stand for the blatant shit but I feel I generally try to err on the side of caution.  People can choose to ignore posts/threads as well I don't need to just dump every post that isn't an academic masterpiece!
836  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: matkobla - a possible scammer on: July 15, 2018, 03:07:12 PM
Hope it make sense for the mods to take care of it.
It is what it is now!

You know that scams are not moderated.  Users do not get banned for scamming (like it or not).

Yeah I know and I may not have a comment on that.

Feel free to comment about it!  Many rants have been made on the subject, I've probably ranted about it in the past at some point LOL!  But I'm sure you know this issue probably isn't changing anytime soon!
837  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Split from main thread Re: Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh on: July 15, 2018, 02:29:39 PM
a person should be able to take responsibility for their own decisions and ramification of those decisions.

One would think that taking responsibility would equate to raising the baby after conceiving it. Those tests are quite often false-positives, and I have heard countless stories that parallel exactly yours. Congratulations on having a healthy child, that's really great to hear.

There are particular groups in America that continually abort baby girls until they are pregnant with a boy. It's difficult to draw a line that anybody is pleased with.

I think at this point I should split the topic as I seem to have taken it way off topic!

I'll see myself out, I do honestly enjoy these kind of conversations. I don't know very much, so I'm always interesting in hearing someone out.

Absolutely no need to leave man, please don't I enjoy the intelligent discussion (its rare around here!).

Quote

I would personally say that taking responsibility could equate to raising the baby.  I would also say that it could equate to living with the decision to not carry the fetus to term.  I can only imagine as you get older especially if you have children later that is a decision that will be on your mind and you will deal with the responsibilities of that choice.

I am glad that the government has not taken away the right of a person to choose that for themselves!

 Cheesy

Edit:

In order to further discussion!

Most Pro-Life advocates see an unborn fetus as a life; Abortion ends this life, therefore they argue that it is a violent crime against another life. From this lens, it would seem strange to approach it from simply educating as opposed to outlawing it. Murder isn't halted through education, there must be enforcement in order to preserve the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness of their potential victim(s).
Why not take it a step further and include masturbation and protected sex, one could argue and a lot of churches have argued this for a long time.  The line is fine IMO and that is why it should be up to the person to decided.

Quote
This actually is where I have yet to receive a good solution from that side, enforcement; I do not see a reasonable way to enforce anti-abortion that would be effective, but I am ignorant and would love to hear one.
The reality is you can't stop it, especially in 2018, Mexico, Canada and underground hook rooms will come back endangering young American Women.  We have seen it already.  Besides as Clinton said what are you going to do them put them in jail like hardened murders?  They're not criminals they're American women, mothers, daughters, sisters, wives of all of us.  They're also not stupid, a lot of women are intelligent lets not make an arbitrary choice for all of them.

Quote
I think you're being sensational. Many presidents have been Pro-life, or anti-abortion; Even recently.
~snip ref~
Seems every living president besides one was (during their term(s)) arguably Pro-Life, at least anti-abortion so I'm not sure what you mean.

To be honest I wish I was being a sensationalist.  There is a difference between being pro-life and being the most pro-life/anti abortion POTUS ever.  I agree most POTUS have been pro life but Trump like always takes it to the next level.  I personally think Trump is much more hard line about the issue as referenced in the link I left.  He thinks women who abort a fetus are criminals.  On top of that the man who got her pregnant is not responsible at all, at least not after he fucked her...
838  Other / Politics & Society / Split from main thread Re: Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh on: July 15, 2018, 02:16:09 PM
~Snip~

Honestly man, it may be hard to believe but I actually don't agree personally with abortion (barring certain extreme circumstances).  When my wife was pregnant with my son she had a test that indicated that he may be born with down syndrome.  We were given the option to abort the fetus and try again or continue to term.  For us there was no question, abortion was not an option, that was our boy either way!  The test proved to be a false positive and our son is happy and healthy thankfully.

My point is that this is a very personal "soul" searching decision that is unique to each individual and at some point a person should be able to take responsibility for their own decisions and ramification of those decisions.

I still maintain it's unfair to take away a person choice, fortunately the Feds agree with me at this point!  And I pray to the Flying Spaghetti Monster it doesn't change!

Just to note, I'm not an American citizen if that matters.  However I am extremely envious of some of the things you're government stands for!

I think at this point I should split the topic as I seem to have taken it way off topic!
839  Other / Politics & Society / Split from main thread Re: Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh on: July 15, 2018, 01:00:21 PM
The thing with Roe V Wade isn't taking away the decision of a women to do whatever they want with their body, it's giving the states the ability to decide (through the people, as they are the ones who are electing their state reps/assemblypeople) to decide if they want abortion to be legal within their state.

The Federal Government is there to provide certain rights to ALL citizens of the union.  Being such a hotbed or important topic (I mean it could potentially directly affect about half of the citizens) I don't agree that it should be a state by state choice. IMO no matter where you're born as a women you should have the right to seek safe, legal options.  Pro life should focus on educating rather than banning.

I get frustrated a little when people try to justify taking away anyone's ability to decide for themselves.  What gives anyone the right to decide for another person...  It's ignorant, sorry for being rude.

Quote
I personally don't think the Federal government has any ability to decide what the states should govern on this, let the people decide on a state by state basis.

Then why have a Fed at all, important issues that affect a significant % of the citizens seems like just a perfect thing for Federal intervention.  Which incidentally is probably why it made it to the supreme court originally!

You know that scams are not moderated.  Users do not get banned for scamming (like it or not).  If you think the user or posts are breaking forum rules then please report them.
