I see plenty of people lamenting about high staking difficulty and that they don't make any coins now when coins from auction started staking.
I was going to ignore those comments but afterwards i decided to take this opportunity to educate some where the real problem is.
This coin have brilliant POW+POS mix and staking is extremely cheap.
68M coins was sold for total of 25btc.
Mere investment of 2BTC secured over 5M coins (this is what i did and i observe stakes every hour, sometimes multiple stake in hour)
So the real problem is something different.
It is that those people are basically broke and have almost no money to invest.
There are two paths that they can chose now:
1st, difficult
admit that you are worthless loser and do something about it, change your future, transform yourself into something else
2nd, easy
criticize the POS system
or Conqueror
or rich people
or Trezarcoin
etc.
I picked the first option few years ago, i accepted that i was broke loser. And evolved from that state step by step.
Was it easy? No.
Am I bitching about high staking difficulty now? No.

Keyword is after. After in this context may be equally to never. All of that coins have great plans, but only a few of them listed on exchanges. It's isnt hard to get to an exchange. Some shitty exchanges take every coin. On some other you need only to pay for listing. |

- a fork of denarius with a fast coded wallet (trade menu that point to cryptopia, and market informations made me laugh)
- a nice AMD vega logo (Dev I hope you have a good lawyer, because when AMD will see your logo, you'll need to prepare uranus)
- "instamine prevention" but 10% premine
- a non (or bad, depends if you are lucky) working official pool
- a nice picture of a"planned" miner, but zero information about the tech side of this miner
- no development statement (roadmap, wp, or at least some directions about the purpose of the coin)
Dev you need to change everything asap...
Change for what? All of this just to make easy money after adding to any exchanges. I really don't know why people still mining this after all the charges. It's simple. The majority of people are idiots to more or less degree. They don't read, they don't even try to think nor analyze. They are like dogs on a race seeing only rabbit ahead of them. If anyone havent receipt your payment yet here is the solution: Add this in your coin.conf Because PoS will activated after PoW end. If anyone who tried to use staking=1 will get trouble with the payment. Please add staking =0 in vegacoin.conf Sincerely, Whaaat.. ? Are you really the dev ? i have already started receiving stakes (very less like .00001 but still) . This is a clone of DNR and we receive stake from day 1 on DNR . You wil not receive anything as far as many millions of coins were divided amoung auction participants and now they all POS. So our thousands of coins have no chance agains millions as far as "weight" growth is limited by 16days. So POS is not for us.
I don't like this kind of POS, is only for rich people. They have advantages but with the growing weight, you will get POS result in time. -TC No it is not. POS weight is limited by Total coins * 16days. So If you have 1000 coins you will have 16000 weight maximum. Another guy with 1Ml coins have 1000 times more chances to get POS block. Even on his first day of staking your maximum chance against him is 1.6%. But don't forget that there are 80 those guys. So divide it by 80 |

1) Read carefully what I wrote in previous post. Your and others having thousands of coins chances are miserable. 2) That means that you have to finetune your settings. Because I've received POS yesterday morning. And while having only 4K of coins now I get 19 inputs 8868 coindays. But as i said it won't help me or anybody else with +/- the same stack to get POS block. |

Disappointing  : Asus Dual GTX 1060 3 GB, Hynix, stock bios, eth:Ubiq, 15 MH stock, 17.8 OC @67% power. There is not a drop in MH with the drop in power. Update your driver, or uninstall with GUU ( or DUU I dont remember ) then reinstall ur driver back, it should solve the problem. so drivers will fix the Hynix memory problem? With Nvidia, memory type are not relevant as the 4xx and 5xx AMD series. Usually when you have a strangely low hashrate, it is highly related to driver issues. Try to uninstall them first with the program quote above, install latest driver, and try back in stock mode. We will see how it goes after that. It seems that you just have no experience with nvidia 1060. The difference between samsung and micron/hynix on memory intensive algos is huge: 19vs25 in Eth |

Just remember, it is impossible for a government or whatever legal authorities to control or ban cryptocurrencies.
It is possible for governments to ban cc<->fiat conversion. It is possible to block exchanges, pools. It is possible to block TOR, vpn etc. Of course not to ban completely, but at least to make it very difficult use. Actually as far as they will understand that cc leads to collapse of all fiat financial and fiscal systems they will definetly try to do smth like this. |
