Assume I have 100 USD and 0 BTC with BTC/USD at 47. BTC/USD drops from 47 to 46. I still have 100 USD and 0 BTC. How did I profit in USD terms on this price move?
sorry if I sound like a teacher, but have you studied the financial markets a bit before thinking about shorting bitcoins? you even seem to imply you can make money without doing any single trade (if I understand your post well) |

S3052, we seem to be spiraling hiring on steady volume. That is, the same amount of voluming is causing bigger and bigger dollar jumps in price. It **feels** like our foundations are getting thinner. Or is that only because I am looking at absolute dollar change and not percentage change?
Does Elliott Wave speak to this issue?
Typically, it is better to look at currency volume vs. number of shares or bitcoins in this case (as long as tge currency is rather stable.. and at least for now, the USD is rather solid, despite all the doom sayers)One question from an ignorant subscriber: The possible triangle, what are the probabilities of that resolving up or down respectively?

it is difficult to predict timings, but in terms of price, I predict bitcoin will have exceeded 32 $ within the next 12 months.
What are you basing this prediction on? wave 1 + fibo Not impressed. This call also materialized.  I want to say thank you S3052, although I still could not forget about the days before the 2011 double bottom, but without your advice I probably would not have bought so many bitcoins during the downtrend and the bottom.

there are some folks betting on a turn down below the all time high. most likely, they have only the interest to avoid prices going higher
but I am not sure if they will manage. the upward pressure is huge, and their ask orders could well be a great dinner for the bulls. and when the all time high breaks, fasten the seat belts...
Also, half the wall is fake... most probably yes, unless a hungry bull eats it quickly on its run.. |

Bears are fighting with limited ammunition, bulls have factorys making more and more ammunition everyday Hahahah that's funny!  And true.
