Fun fact> Spur spending less than Aston villa is the reason they are trophyless in the last two decades. Money gives you trophies and history ask Mancity and PSG. Grin
This is what the management of my club have come to realize. Arsenal that I used to know will never spend so much on any player, they were okay with bringing in low cost players who they sold later on for more than what they got them and made profit from them, but it is obvious that they are tired of that and now want to be able to compete to win trophies. Arsenal spent more in this transfer window than they have ever spent on transfers, because the new coach Arteta understands the need to have a squad with many quality players who can perform when needed.

Chelsea have spent so much since last season on bringing in players, they brought in many young players which is also good. If not in this season, Chelsea will develop into a very strong team that will dominate the premier league in a couple of seasons when these young players begin to understand themselves and have chemistry.

Asides bringing in players, with money, training facilities will be improved, and there will be good incentives for these players as well as care, so overall performance improves when there is money.
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency restrictions in some countries is a blessing in disguise. on: September 01, 2023, 02:41:11 PM
1; Curiosity, naturally people are inquisitive to know why they are restricted to do certain things, therefore the more they learn about bitcoin and it's advantages, they will engage in it and tell others.
It does not always happen like this, even if people get to find out why the government has put a restriction on the use of bitcoins, and they do, majority of them will not want to engage with it because of its restricted status. They will just find out and hold on to the knowledge. Only a few persons will like to involve themselves regardless of the governments opinion and the others because they were not involved with bitcoins before, will keep their distance.

2; Unemployment, where there is high rate of unemployed people, especially the youth, they will see bitcoin trading as a source of earning income.
Why do people still see trading as an employment? Before any trader can really make money from trading bitcoins, they need capital to be able to purchase the amount of bitcoins that they can to trade with. You cannot start trading with zero capital. And even when you start trading, it is not always a win win situation.
843  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Accessible Programs for Aspiring Crypto Influencers. on: August 31, 2023, 09:13:55 PM
Becoming a crypto influencer is often a challenging endeavor, requiring motivation, dedication, and diligence to build your brand. Often, you need a boost in the form of partnerships or to be part of a community to gain the necessary exposure to thrive.
If you aim at becoming a crypto influencer, do not let money be the only reason why you are interested in it, because many crypto influencers from the past have disappointed and lost the trust of their followers because they love money too much and will accept any offer to promote any coin even if the coin does not really have any strong background. So they receive money, and promote a coin that they are not even sure of, leading to many of their followers loosing money to these dubious projects. Also, in wanting to become a crypto influencer, also understand that you will be under the watchful eyes of the SEC and can be prosecuted for endorsing and promoting fake investment opportunities in cryptocurrency.

To be an influencer with a difference, you have to be more dedicated to securing and preserving the trust your followers will have in you, and not abuse that trust to manipulate them for financial gains.
844  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginners must be needed Local /language sector. on: August 31, 2023, 06:07:44 PM
Analyzing crypto in your own language will be very easy so if you are new to crypto or coming from this forum be sure to be more active on discussion boards in your own language.
Promoting bitcoins in your own local language may encourage acceptance among members in your local group who are new to the forum.

English is not the native language in some countries that have their local board here, and some new members of the forum who are not very comfortable with expressing themselves in English and even reading it will spend more time in their local section where they will feel more comfortable among people with same language as their own. Having someone who shares and translates important topics to the local language of their country to share in their local group is good because those people there who do not visit other boards will still be able to learn from these important topics that have been translated to their local language for understanding and engagement.
845  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Face unlock on bitcoin wallet devices on: August 31, 2023, 05:58:25 PM
It is on this forum that I knew using fingerprint to unlock wallet device is not good, specifically mobile phones. We know already that we should not have too much bitcoin on a mobile wallet. Let us assume that you have little amount of bitcoin on a mobile bitcoin wallet like Electrum or Bluewallet but you still want security.

Fingerprint is not secure, what about face unlock?

Fingerprint is not safe, your device having the finger print reader to unlock your wallet may malfunction and begin to accept fingerprints that are not even yours, in extreme cases, your fingerprint can be copied, cloned and reproduced for use to beat your fingerprint security.

Face unlock is worse too because asides the fact that it can also malfunction, it is not the best option for every person. For instance, facial unlock may not be able to tell the difference between two very identical twins with very similar facial features, and your wallet may now become accessible to your identical twin.

847  Economy / Services / Re: [DISCUSSION] SINBAD.IO [Mix Your BTC Quickly] Signature Campaign | Up-to $150/w on: August 31, 2023, 05:26:29 PM
To prevent the possibility of spamming, having a maximum count of 40 would be better than having 50. However, just because someone writes 50 or even more posts, that doesn't mean they are spamming and lack quality in their writing.
Spammers will spam even if it is just the regular 25 post needed weekly, I am not a member of the campaign yet, but I believe that the top members of this campaign can meet up to the demand.

If anyone is found to be spamming, they should be removed to give room to others who can efficiently represent the project.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: August 31, 2023, 03:05:37 PM
I picked up sterling as my free transfer for the current GW but I'm beginning to have second thoughts due to your conversation with CLS63. Chelsea's next 5 fixtures should be easy enough for them and Sterling would feature in all of them if he doesn't pickup any injuries. For someone like Sterling that has been heavily criticized, I feel he would want to keep up that form for much longer.
I am not yet convinced to have Sterling in my team, I simply do not trust his play, and his performance against Luton is simply not enough for me to see him as improved. I know that he is more determined this season to show his worth and ensure that he does not loose his place both in the Chelsea team and in the England squad. I will be observing him for a few more games.

Also Arsenal will face Man United this weekend, so I couldn't expect much on Saka lol.
Manchester United have some defensive crisis, and they do not have their first choice in Left back, so Saka may still have a good game. For me, Saka is one midfielder that has always been consistent for Arsenal, and I will not expect less from him even if our next opponent is Manchester United.

849  Economy / Economics / Re: Another Coup in Africa: What is the economic effect? on: August 30, 2023, 10:52:13 PM
What is the economic effect of the coup in Gabon on the global economy?
Countries that depended heavily on them and were exploiting them will be directly affected by the coup because the military that has taken over will not want to continue with any agreement that they may have had with the ousted government. If it was raw materials, there will be shortages, if it was food export, there will be shortage too.

For you, the countries usually taken over by a coup often issue a no-flight zone (NFZ) on their airspace, so as a person who is travelling by air and  may have to travel pass their airspace, flights may be redirected and perhaps flight fees will increase, so you spend more.
850  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: August 30, 2023, 10:39:11 PM
But I was wondering if this only happened in my country or in your country too?
The situation in your country is the same situation faced in some other countries, the difference is that they may be caused by different reasons not all drought related. Some are due to crisis in areas where there is high agricultural practice, to even increase in cost of transportation.

In my country for instances, there is enough fertile land for agriculture and there are still many farmers both in small and in large scale, the problem however right now is that there is now an increased price in the cost of petroleum product (PMS & Diesel), and this affected the cost of transporting these farm products from the farm to the market. Due to that, there is an increase in the price of some food items.

The situation may likely get worse, so it is good to prepare to make more money to be able to afford the food as the prices increase, or seek alternatives like starting to farm your own food for yourself and maybe your family.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin achievement on: August 30, 2023, 10:22:31 PM
I am not buying your story, we are not all fools here,
I eventually became persuaded. then I purchase a Bitcoin in 2017 and invested it. from there I became engaged with a forum and began contributing over time, since then I become an established Bitcoin investor.
Which forum did you become engaged in? I am sure others like myself will like to know, because you just joined this forum on August 05, 2023.
(1) I live alone in the house. but now, I have wife and children.
You would have gotten married still, with or without bitcoins.
(2) I was living in a rented apartment. but now, I live in my own house.
(3)  I was tricking to places. but now, Bitcoin have giving me a car.
(4) before I don't have any source of income. but now, Bitcoin is my source of income.
How did you manage to make bitcoin your source of income that you were able to achieve all these in a short time, from buying a house, a car and raising a family? Where you trading or investing?

(You may be quick to say trading, but that will be unbelievable since your post history clearly shows that your most frequented boards are "bitcoin discussion" and "Politics and society")
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Reliability of sites such as mempool.space for estimating fees. on: August 29, 2023, 09:08:11 PM
I had usually relied on mempool.space to guide me on what fee to use to send my transactions but lately it seems to give me too high a fee. I remember a couple of times recently when I wasn't in a hurry to get a transaction confirmed and if the site gave high priority 8 sat/vB, medium priority 7 sat/vB and low priority 6 sat/vB, I sent it with 6 sat/vB and it was confirmed in a few blocks. I didn't check exactly but I would say it was confirmed in three or four blocks at most, in less than an hour for sure. Then, the last time I sent a transaction I still sent it with a lower fee, if it gave me low priority 10 sat/vB and 9 sat/vB as no priority, I sent it with 9 and it also confirmed relatively quickly.
The fees required for transactions are always changing, if you use a slightly lower fee and your transactions still get  confirmed, It is possible that within a very short time while you were not monitoring the fees, that the fee dropped to that amount of fee you used which made your transaction to be confirmed before it went back up. I personally don't like to wait so long for transactions to be completed, so I always use a medium or high priority fees so I have the assurance of a quick transaction.
853  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to join best bounty and earn money? on: August 29, 2023, 08:57:18 PM
Because a YouTuber made video and I saw. He says make account and than earn money with bounty and I don't have knowledge?
YouTubers can give many sorts of advice, it doesn't make them all good to follow.

I don't understand there are so many bounty in bounty section. Because a YouTuber made video and I saw. He says make account and than earn money with bounty and I don't have knowledge?
Joining this forum for the purpose of participating in just bounty is a misuse of the many opportunities that this forum offers in my opinion. There are other things that you can engage in in this forum that will be more of benefit to you in the long term like focusing on learning about bitcoins and other related things like trading.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: August 28, 2023, 10:00:02 PM
Nobody thinks he's a technically gifted player - sometimes he feels like he's never played football before.
Still - he's a teriffic striker, dangerous from all positions and basically undependable. He's still got time to grow and he'll be unstoppable - even with his technical deficiency.

Do you think someone with his technical deficiency deserves the Ballon d'or? This is an honest question.
Ballon d'or winners are usually players who are able to make a huge difference whenever their team play against big teams in big competitions, Haaland is a good goal scorer just like Lewandoski, but in big games, his influence is usually small and he can play a full game with very little touches which does not make him a standout player.

Players who are eligible for the Ballon d'or to me are players who can carry the whole team when there is a need for it especially in crucial games, not just players who are just the finishers to creative opportunities created by other players of which Manchester City is blessed with.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the size and frequency of online casino winnings depend on the time of year? on: August 28, 2023, 08:43:06 PM
I received almost all the biggest winnings from November to May. In other periods, the game develops much worse  Undecided.
I believe it is just a mere coincidence.

Mentality matters a lot and because you have programmed your mind that you win more during the period you mentioned, that will become your reality.

Also, I am thinking, Since you already have that mindset that you win during those times? why do you go ahead to waste more money during the period that you claim not to be lucky winning?

What time of the year do you win more often?
I believe gamblers win when they are supposed to win, there is no particular time when winning big from casinos become easier.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Electric Supply to Bitcoin Mining Operations in Laos on: August 28, 2023, 08:33:20 PM
What do you guys think about this?
The government of Laos are just trying to ensure that they have enough electricity for next year to maintain the signed memorandums of understanding that they have with countries around them, so that they be able to meet up with the demands of these country that they export this their hydro generated electricity to since they are one of the major hydroelectric generators in Asia. Electricity sale is one of the countries major export from which they generate capital from, and since the cryptocurrency mining operators have failed to meet up with debt that they owe the government, it is unprofitable for them to continue supplying them with electricity.

Cryptocurrency mining operators will face a major challenge with power when they are cut off.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Drives Crypto Prices? Is Crypto Really Being Adopted by Society? on: August 28, 2023, 05:37:01 PM
Likewise, while cryptocurrencies offer the promise of revolutionizing traditional financial systems,
Talk directly about bitcoins, not cryptocurrency in general.

Bitcoin does not just promise revolutionizing the traditional financial system, bitcoins is already doing it.

their current level of adoption for practical use remains a matter of contention.
It is still a matter of contention because of how some people have adopted and accepted the opinion of the most governments and some other individuals about bitcoins. There will be more practical usage for bitcoins when it becomes accepted by the people who are pushing the false narrative of it's unreliable nature.

858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: August 25, 2023, 04:40:50 PM
Luke Shaw was injured in training guys, and he's out for weeks. If you've been saving up a free transfer until now, this is the time to use it. (Unless you have other injured defenders.)
It is a big blow to Manchester United, to loose Mason Mount and Luke Shaw in just a week to injuries. Luke Shaw is a very performing player for Manchester United, a very experienced defender who has very good contributions in defense and in attack when he goes forward. He will be out for more than three weeks and United will struggle for options.

His absence may even further affect Onana's ability to keep clean sheets because of the crisis that the defense will face within this period. That is something more for people who have Onana as their GK to think about.

ETH will try to sign another Left back before the transfer window closes.

Why are they falling like flies this season?
It is just strange.

So many injuries in just a few weeks of the start of the season.
859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 25, 2023, 03:38:48 PM
Yes it is really. Saudi league is not for young player like Viega who has a lot of potential. He could have moved to some other European team and had improved there but I highly doubt this move will turn out to be fruitful for Viega. One can earn money near the end of their career but player also need to develop and get good achievements under his belt which I hardly think Viega will do by making a move to Al-Ahli.
Viega  is very young and considered one of the young players to take over the spotlight from older players who are almost retiring, and others leaving to Saudi Arabia. This would have been the chance for him to really create a name for himself in the big leagues and attract interest from bigger clubs that he can win trophies with. Napoli were also interested in him but he ignored them. It is a pity that he does not have that as a dream and money ranks more important to him. It is his choice and we all know where we are coming from and understand the responsibility we carry.

A problem that the Saudi's will cause is that after the normal transfer window closes, their own is still open for some weeks after, so it means that they will be able to upset some European teams by attracting their players at a time when they cannot get replacements.

Romelu Lukaku will most likely move to Roma on loan as the second striker the club will bring after Serdar Azmoun. He will work with Mourinho, and maybe that will help him revive his dying career.

860  Other / Meta / Re: cryptofrka's Merit Source application - gambling boards on: August 25, 2023, 02:54:21 PM
...
If you have strong opinions, you should also have strong principles to suport it. You are not principled, if you were, you would never have agreed to apply and agree wear the signature and avatar to promote a casino here. Because of your unprincipled nature, you have no right to talk about ethics.

Also not all discussions in the gambling board is about casinos, some discussions under its subboard "gambling discussion" address and talk about issues relating to gambling.

I also think merits should not be focused on posts in this section. It does not positively contribute to the Bitcoin economy.
Gambling involves use of bitcoins, and there are gamblers who have a preference for gambling with bitcoins. Believe it or not, the fact that bitcoins can also be useful for gambling can be a reason why some people have gotten bitcoins.
