101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 06, 2024, 08:49:31 PM
It's not about the fee now, he should move to a club he can win individual awards and also the Champions League. A move to Chelsea or Arsenal would be more appealing. My opinions though even if they don't count.
Personally, I would still prefer going to Chelsea, that squad and project would be best for him.
Chelsea and Arsenal are two teams that have very good goal scoring creating abilities this season, with the addition of a striker like Victor Osimhen to either of the two clubs, he will score lots of goals, and his first season will quickly be in comparison with Haaland first season in the league.

If he moves to Arsenal, he can quickly become a first team choice under Arteta's expertise. Arteta has a good record of bringing the best out of players, looks at Havertz for example. If Osimhen moves to Chelsea, they need to sack Poch because I personally think he is incompetent to handle this rich Chelsea team that has talented players who can deliver with a good coach. His game changes and tactics most times are off.

102  Other / Meta / Re: Is gambling problem or anything related to addiction is an off-topic? on: April 06, 2024, 08:38:33 PM
This kind of topic was allowed before since addiction is a huge part of gambling in general.
They were allowed and overlooked before, but now the mods in the gambling board are fed up, and have decided to become active to reduce spamming and low quality topics.  In the recent weeks, many topics have been moved to the off topic board, but in the gambling board, I still see some new topics and old ones that may likely still end up being moved by the mods.

If the mods can give a hint on discussions that they deem gambling worthy, it will help.

Also, If the gambling board is now being cleaned of spammers and low quality posts, I hope also that there will be an increase in merit distribution there to the quality topics made in that board, that are gambling discussion worthy.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you advise a friend in the same way? on: April 06, 2024, 08:22:12 PM
Is this the wrong advice? A friend of mine took over his father's company because he is so old already and he told me about the money thats available doing nothing in the bank.
Your friend has stepped into a big position that comes with lots of expectations for success. His father even though is old and has passed on management of the company to him will not just fold his hands by the sides and not be interested in the performance of the company he has handed over, so every decision to be taken needs to be well calculated.

Remember that although you are put in charge of the company, company funds is not your personal funds, and the proper way to utilize company funds is to reinvest it back into the company. If it is a production company, getting new machines can help increase the profit of the business, if it is a logistic company getting new logistic vehicles can be a way to promote the business. All profitable investments does not have to be Bitcoins, some normal investments are profitable and can yield you personal income to then invest in Bitcoin.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good bitcoin security starts with strong PC and mobile device security on: April 06, 2024, 08:03:06 PM
~
Good bitcoin security starts with you and not your devices. Good bitcoin security starts with you developing your consciousness towards security. If you are not security conscious or have poor security consciousness, it will not matter the device you get because you will always be careless and your carelessness will put you at a vulnerable position to become a victim.

Good bitcoins security also involves using a good PC, OS or mobile device, but it is only about that.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: April 05, 2024, 08:42:41 PM
That said, I still think he's one of the best or most complete conventional No. 9 player, he's got every skill set that's required of such role, from pace, to his dribble, and off the ball positioning too is exceptional, he's finishing touch is the only that's subpar, I'd rather have him over Haaland everyday as a coach, all he just needs in my candid opinion is to have a better finishing or conversion skill.
Darwin Nunez and Mudryk are in the same category, players with a lot of potentials, but need personal grooming for them to achieve their full potentials.

Darwin is likely to blank against Manchester United.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need to blame fraudsters on: April 05, 2024, 07:15:10 PM
Have you noticed that whenever someone complain or there is an incident of scam they is always a role that was played by the person in that happening, either they failed to be security conscious or they were totally ignorant, and when you look at it the scammer never forced them to comply, this people willingly fell for their  trick.
It is not every victim that knows how to take responsibility and acknowledge the fact that their nonchalant attitude with security contributed to the fact that they got scammed. Scammers often look for people who are careless with their security because these people are the easiest people to attack and steal from.

Before we blame the fraudsters, we should first accept responsibility for out failure to stay updated with security.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: April 04, 2024, 08:03:35 PM
But who would get the other goals though if Salah and Darwin have no goal involvements?
Salah subbed out in the 60th minute for Harvey Elliott, No goals for him and a poor performance.

Just the lucky goal from Nunez still.

I think after seeing the leaks that Salah and Nunez are starting that we will level Sheffield to the ground tonight.
Sheffield not  bowing to the supremacy of Liverpool, 70 mins into the game and Liverpool have one goal, the same as Sheffield who have so far defended well.

Klopps agenda will just be to win this game, even if they do not score many goals, because it looks unachievable at this point.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lately I've been thinking about this a lot. on: April 04, 2024, 07:43:33 PM
Now I started to think about the real life UFC, maybe this is even happening underground and we don't know?
This is another version of match fixing, and it can be happening under our noses without you having an idea about it.

Gamblers are at the disadvantage because they never know when these things happen and in a situation where you bet against the house you lose all your money regardless of the statistics that your choice has because even the fighters in this sort of match fixing are very aware. A fighter who is a known loser, may have been loosing and then be fixed to win in a fight where everyone least expects, in these fights, they have the biggest odds, and when they win, the fixers make lots of money as well as those who bet on them, and the fighter.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: April 03, 2024, 11:28:27 PM
You were bang on for Saka. I never thought I would see the day he is dropped from the Arsenal squad, usually he plays if he can stand on his feet. Means either he is seriously injured or Arteta finally figured out that he needs to give the guy a break here and there.
We have players who are fit, it is bad managerial decision to keep stressing our key players especially with how important it is not to loose any game until the end of the season. A serious injury to any key player entirely ruins the plan for the season.

Saka is not completely injured, but he is not fully fit either. I suspect that against Brighton, he will not play full time, but will have some game time.

Saliba and Gabriel deserve some rest too. I am waiting for Timber to be fully fit.

Pep roulette is on again, nobody is safe from now on  Roll Eyes
Will Pep ever rest Rodri?
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.Game 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: April 03, 2024, 01:54:49 PM
I expect a shitload of points from Salah, Darwin and Saka -
From Salah, yes!
from Darwin Nunez, still a 50/50 chance, he has a reputation for missing goals.
then for Saka, he did not look very fit against City, Not sure he will have enough game time or even play at all against Luton. We have more difficult games upcoming.

LFC will want to reduce Arsenal's GD advantage by a bit and tomorrow is the perfect game to do so.
Arsenal have a chance to make it difficult for LFC to catch up on GD when they play Luton today, before LFC meet Sheffield tomorrow. Sheffield are the last on the table, but can be an upset for LFC.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your latest big win from gambling? on: April 03, 2024, 01:42:52 PM
I really want to know how you do feel after your latest big win.
It is easier to think you are going to act in a certain way when you have no money, but huge and unexpected money can bring out a side of you that you never expected to see the light of day.

I have not recently won any huge money from gambling, but when you win big, there are chances of you becoming more reckless with gambling because you believe you now have enough money to risk gambling. It is the wrong reaction from a gambler, unless they don't need the money won, because a wise gambler should maintain their stake, while using the money won to pursue other investments outside gambling that will be beneficial.
112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why technical analysis is not reliable on: April 02, 2024, 04:37:48 PM
1.it is based on assumptions about past market trends, gotten from the past market price and  volume data
It is exactly because majority of traders see these past trends and know these past market trends, that makes it relevant. Traders see it and understand the implication on the market, and the appropriate reaction to it.

Do not trade against the trend, the trend is your friend.

3.Technical analysis will not provide the full details of the market,  that is putting economic and global events into consideration,
This is why every trader should make it to habit to always verify the trend of the market through technical and fundamental analysis and not just technical analysis alone.
113  Other / Off-topic / Re: The challenges of protecting children from gambling on: April 02, 2024, 03:07:09 PM
Just that the government do not care if children are gambling in your country.
I cannot find the topic exactly but I am hoping the OP of that topic sees this and highlights the post that I am about to make reference to.

We had a discussion about a country sometime ago where the government do not have any problems with the citizens gambling but heavily frowns against any form of gambling promotion either online or offline by any gambler or person. If governments of other countries can adopt this kind of policy, Gambling shops and outlets will be forced to take off their billboards and signpost, and it will to a good extent protect the underage from being exposed to gambling.

children are becoming too smart and inquisitive, so I was just thinking about the possibilities of protecting children from getting involved in gambling.
As a parent or a guardian do not try to hide what gambling really is from your children because they will still get to find out and if you are not quick to let them know that gambling should be for fun and should be done responsibly at an age and time when someone has the money to spare for it, some of these children will learn from outside from other people that gambling is a way to make money putting them at the danger of addiction.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Networking of Bitcoin and bringing Investors onboard is succeeded by testimonies on: April 02, 2024, 02:38:03 PM
This is a really long story that must have taken more than a year from start to present. I bet you did not get engagements because some forum members do not like to read these kinds of very long posts that are stories, while there are also others who may not believe you because some details sound over cooked.

For how long exactly have you been investing in bitcoins? Before or after you joined this forum? @OP

It was amazing to see my asset growing which attracted me to keep holding, buying more and accumulating.
Thereafter the portfolio of my holding has smiles more than my job could be.

You failed to mention the lady you claimed to have met that contributed to helping you increase the investment you made in bitcoins from your last post that also talked about networking from just eight months ago.
Quote
I literally told her I needed to upgrade my invested capital on my BTC investments at an average of 0.20 BTC currently worth $5,217.8 to booster my target on  a diversification and also an efficient interrupted device (laptop) is required for a proactive networking system.
Oh yeah. behold I got my wishes granted even beyond my expectations as she has gifted me  a pair of K2 boots, a Gucci foot wears (Pam's) and a HP laptop/capacity 4GB/250HDD.

115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO NOT BRAG ABOUT YOUR BITCOIN on: April 02, 2024, 11:26:02 AM
It is important you do not brag about success. Don’t share how much you have with others. This should be obvious, but there are people that may not be so excited for you.
There are many things that you shouldn't speak about, things that you should keep privately to yourself, like the exact amount of bitcoin or a suggestion of how many bitcoins that you own.

Leaving suggestions of the amount of bitcoins you own can make you a target for whichever of the people you call friends and entertain or even family members to prey on, and you may never know until your bitcoins are gone.

Tell people about bitcoins, but don't over share and leave suggestions of how much you have been able to accumulate.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is lack of proof a problem for you or not? on: April 01, 2024, 03:31:30 PM
Have you verified that the online casino you are using now is verified? How can you tell that its verified because there is no proof of verified shown to the public.
Most gamblers don't concern themselves with trying to verify the casino they play in before they start playing in a casino. If it is the most popular casino around them, they are usually influenced by the crowd to gamble there. Some gamblers gamble more in a casino from recommendation, than from personal research.

Do you think that if all online casinos can tender some proof of being licensed all it reduce scams in online gambling?
The thing remains that we can never always fully trust any kind of proof that will be tendered, it can be manipulated, or the casino may even change in behavior after a while of acting good and getting all the customers.

Do not get relaxed gambling in a casino. follow up the news with them, so that you will be amongst the first people to notice if they start giving too many problems to too many customers.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local/Traditional Gambling Spots on: April 01, 2024, 11:27:24 AM
Have you visited the traditional gambling sport  in your place? How do the traditional gambling games and spots in your country look? Have you gambled the local way?  How was your experience, then?
I have seen older people gambling, and playing these games that you have mentioned, but not all gathered in one place. If there was a place like that around me, I would never know because I am not sure I will be very interested in regularly visiting a place where only old people come to gamble, I could get older faster.

If I start staying only in the company of old gamblers, I know there will be a lot to learn from them, but not where I will always want to be.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your educated guess on BTC price at the end of 2024 on: April 01, 2024, 09:32:23 AM
The proper place to discuss this is the speculation board, I see you are new, so I will give you a link to it so you see similar discussion about people’s speculations on what the value of bitcoins will become.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0

Also, there is no level of educated guess that can give an accurate prediction on the value of bitcoins by the years end, no one knows and any figure given is just a mere prediction.

120  Other / Meta / Re: Can the Admins sent a mass voting PM to know when did people find out about BTC? on: March 31, 2024, 09:26:12 PM
about 4th halving countdown and your stories on when did you heard about bitcoin. I was thinking for this upcoming halving, can bitcoin talk send a mass emailer or a vote option to all registered users to gauge when did they first heard about bitcoin?
Do you think the admin of this forum are idle and looking for more activities to complicate the already tight and busy schedule with forum and other life activities? @OP, I am sure the admin needs more time for rest, than extra work time.

I don't see any need for your suggestion by the way, It is a forum for discussion, and it is okay for these kind of topics to be discussed openly not the Admin sending PM's.
