841  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Huobi - the new trouble spot of the crypto world ? on: August 06, 2023, 05:59:19 PM
Justin Sun is destined to be doomed. He is secretly cashing out money from his scam USDT using his Huobi exchange and other project connected to him. He was once caught cheating on his own giveaway sponsored to Binance.

CZ cutting ties to Sun suggest that the boat is sinking already same with what he did to FTX. CZ is part of it too abut ofcourse no one will believe because of his blind follower. CZ and Justin are milking crypto market with their exchange and scam projects that gathers fund through launchpad.

You should do these to secure your wallet :

1. Choose a Reliable Wallet.

2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

3. Use a Strong, Unique Password: Create a strong and unique password for your Bitcoin wallet. Avoid using common phrases, personal information, or easily guessable passwords.

4. Keep Your Software Updated.

5. Backup Your Wallet.

6. Be Cautious with Online Security.

7. For enhanced security, consider using cold storage solutions. Cold storage refers to keeping your wallet's private keys offline, disconnected from the internet. Multi-signature wallets may also be an option to consider, where multiple signatures are required to authorize transactions, minimizing the risk of a single point of failure.
Always remember, securing your Bitcoin wallet is an ongoing responsibility, so it's important to stay updated with the latest security practices and protocols. Regularly review and reassess your security measures.

844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which Crypto exchange is the best for intermediaries Traders and Invesotors. on: August 06, 2023, 04:26:26 PM
When it comes to crypto exchanges, finding the best fit for intermediaries like us is crucial.  Does anyone have any go-to exchanges that have served you well? I've heard some chatter about a few options, but personal experiences and insights are gold.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Am I right that you are a broker for someone that doesn’t know how to trade? Binance is the top performing exchange right now in crypto but I’m not sure your service works with your customer since most of the exchange on crypto is meant to remove broker between traders.

Bybit, Okx and Kucoinare the runner up exchange. If you don’t have a problem on providing KYC to exchange. Binance is my top recommendation for you.
845  Other / Archival / Re: KuCoin can still be used without KYC on: August 06, 2023, 02:17:56 PM
You can enter absolutely random data and press the button Continue. Immediately we get the following notification:
I don't prefer to submit random data for KYC verification because we don't know if we get stucked in our activities or have some issues with any transections platform can ask us for advanced verification. Then we must submit our information according to our basic LVL 1 verification. If we don't provide proper information we may fail to solve the issues.

You didn’t read the whole content of OP. Ratimov mentioned that you can edit your personal information on your settings which means you correct your personal info provided in case Kucoin ask you to verify for lvl 2. This understandable since Kucoin will surely knew that the data is fake while they use the real legal ID for the verification so they will surely allowed change info for fake identity data.
846  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever used copy trading apps on: August 06, 2023, 02:10:34 PM
What do you guys think about copy trading?
Let's discuss please

Copy trading sucks because you will pay for the premium when you profit while you can easily earn the whole profit without relying on this tool if you will learn on your own. I have copy trading experience before but I really don’t like it because some traders is doing crazy trade.

I’d rather use bot to trade for myself because I’m still the one controlling the settings of my trade instead of relying to someone that I didn’t know. Winning percentage sometimes goes south when trader already tilted.
848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: August 05, 2023, 06:31:39 PM
Copy trading has gained immense popularity in the crypto industry since its introduction. Bitget, being one of the pioneers in this field, remains one of the largest platforms for copy trading cryptocurrencies. Many consider it an appealing choice for beginners, but is it truly effective for those who are new to trading?

Copy trading will just make newcomers lazy to learn trading by themselves since they will only keep copying blindly anyone that is being followed by many. Doing this is very dangerous since not all traders that allow copy with their portfolios has a 100 win rate.

Copy trading is only good if the who is copying it knew exactly what he is copying instead of following trades blindly and just follow the flow without giving personal inputs on the trade.

BC.GAME Account LVL 23 2.800$ Locked BCD
^ Looking for 250$ in TRX.
Contact aceer1908@gmail.com

It will take tons of wager volume before this reward becomes unlock and there’s a chance of losing more than earning this reward plus the 250$ that instantly loss due to the purchased cost of this account.

Casino account is non transferable. I doubt someone here will be interested to purchase this account while your potential client on this is a whale since they are the only one who can complete the wager requirements for the reward.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Of Think My Predictions On This Multi Bet Ticket ? on: August 05, 2023, 04:11:50 PM
Smiles....the probability of you winning all 20 games is 50-50 and you should know that this kind of multibet has made so many people regretted not accepting a cash out offer but instead continue with the game thinking that it will favour their bet at the end of the end.

This is definitely not a 50/50 considering how many picks inside on this parlay. You can refer to the total odds of his bet find the theoritical odds of picks using the individual odds assigned on each pick by the book maker. I think you are pertaining to the outcome(win/lose) for that 50/50 while the odds is different since every match is now connected to each other to complete this parlay that’s way the odds increase when you parlay 2 match compared if you bet on that 2 match individually.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 05, 2023, 04:03:48 PM
Almost every services that accept cryptocurrencies were requesting the users to fulfill KYC. Earlier we've got decentralised gambling platforms like directbet which never requires a registration. During those days the anonymity of the gambling platform as well as the cryptocurrencies were well enjoyed. Now the cryptocurrencies were anonymous, but the gamblers to fulfill KYC keeps everything transparent. Over time things could change, as more gamblers prefer to stay anonymous.

I remember this website and their method is the really the anonymous casino in crypto because it only needs wallet to play by sending bets on designated betting address. The on,y problem on this system is the owner can run freely whenever he wants it since he has no legal commitment with his players since both party is anonymous.

I think directbet still have some settlements that is not paid before they stop the service. Those active bets during their closure is not paid.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: August 05, 2023, 03:37:01 PM
what I mean is the team that is favored by the bookies and its quite easy to choose low odds. indeed betting on sports that are not known and only choosing to bet on the team favored by the dealer does not always guarantee victory, its just that the chances will be greater than just betting without having any basis that you dont know what the chances of winning are.
yes it is true that betting on unknown sports is just for fun or to try my luck and I sometimes when I feel lucky I bet on teams I dont know and sometimes win and also lose.
so there nothing wrong with trying your luck elsewhere as long as you are responsible for your own bets.

Actually, your suggestion is correlated in terms of higher probability of winning in case you didn’t know the sports because bookie set the odds based on the demand of that pick meaning it’s the crowd favorite for picks with low odds.

The problem on betting with unknown sports is you are not enjoying your bets since you are just tossing money on game that you didn’t know. Sure your chance of winning is high base on probability but it is worth it for the sake of entertainment? Also all games is just base of chance so it’s double sadness when you loss because you will both lose money and entertainment on the game.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? on: August 04, 2023, 03:23:48 PM
What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler?

Of course if someone doesn’t honor our gentleman agreement before we start gambling. I experienced this a lot whenever me and my friend made bets on our favorite NBA team every finals. We all agree to bet money and then suddenly they back out whenever they see that their team has no chance of winning after few games.

And would you agree at anytime to double cash with your fellow gambler to place a bet using his account, on the notion of increasing the potential win.

No, I’d rather use my account since there’s nothing to gain if we bet using our money combine. We still have same odds even if we bet individually.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 04, 2023, 03:19:43 PM
The best example that it's purely coincidence is the fact gamblers use potential patterns on both directions to justify the game is rigged somehow. Like, some say when they raise their bets they start losing, because the house becomes greedy and steal them, while others say they have to raise the size of the bet in order to be rewarded by the casino, otherwise the winnings don't come to the player. Others say it's not about the bet size, but about the time you are playing.

There are theories of every kinds in an attempt to find a pattern on the game, but after all none of them work, because it's everything about luck and randomness.
It depends on what of kind game because games with determined winning chance probability can be proved if rigged or not by having huge number of sample to determine whether the winning chance rate is true or false base on the outcome.

But on games like slot games or other pure luck based that use RNG, Proving them rig is useless because the software behind this games doesn’t determine so there’s no basis to begin for determining their fairness except trust.

This meme never gets old but sadly the original video is already not available which he should probably reach his goal of 1M views if he never take it down even though he accomplished it more than 3 days.

Update on this guy, He still doesn’t reach the 1 million views target until now.  Cheesy You can watch his new channel here https://youtu.be/zu3ETGSOLf4

Back to the topic. Just like the meme, It’s very convenient to create tutorial of something as content for possible merit that’s why many newbie choose this path as shorcut to acquire merits.
857  Economy / Reputation / Re: Banned Accounts and their Merit Status. on: August 03, 2023, 05:04:53 PM
Merits of the banned account will decay overtime. There’s no sense to extract merits from them since theymos can produced unlimited supply of merit that he distributes to merit source in regular basis or else there will be no new user will rank if there will be no new merit add on the circulating supply due to the decay feature of merit system.

Banned accounts merits is considered as lost just like Bitcoin when the wallet holds it lost its private key.
858  Economy / Gambling / Re: l0tt0.com on: August 03, 2023, 04:59:58 PM
I just notice that the maintenance progress counter reset back to 0%. I’m watching on the website progress few weeks ago to try new games since the owner promised that the website will back last week. I wonder what really happened. I read few post above that the casino become accessible and now back to maintenance.

I’m looking forward for the opening and probably for the giveaway for forum users.

If you look closely then you can see that the construction of the website is almost completed and I'm quite sure that the website will be back online within few days. The programmer of the whole site and its games is a single person and that's why it took him a lot of time to complete the construction. Although, the site is still not working currently due to construction but soon it will be online once again.

I look closer on it before I made my post here and I visit the website again just now before I write this post just to make sure I'm not mistaken. The progress bar is showing 0% progress which is understandable since the owner announce here received that he do another maintenance.

I really understand the dedication of the owner because he keeps running the signature campaign to still promote his casino and at the same time do the code manually for the update. I only post here because I'm surprised that the progress went back to 0 when I visited the casino by clicking the signature space of one of the participants here.

859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are exchanges evading proof of reserves unsafe for users? on: August 03, 2023, 01:20:03 PM

As a trader, do you feel safe using such exchanges that haven’t released theirs or should the more transparent ones be given preference?
Of course everyone don’t feel safe on exchange that is not transparent since providing Proof of Reserve is very easy for exchange if they don't hide anything. But most of exchange use their customer funds to venture on different crypto investments to get more funds that why they can't provide a legit Proof of Reserve same as Binance. Crypto exchanges are more shady than banks since they are not regulated even with billions of money they are holding.

So far, No crypto exchange manage to provide an official proof of reserved that is audited by official auditors.
860  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Thoughts on a Bitcoin smart wallet? on: August 03, 2023, 01:11:59 PM
We are building a wallet that empowers users to determine who, how, and when to spend their Bitcoin - improving its safety, recoverability, and unlocking new use cases like social recovery with trusted connections, inheritance, time-locked hodl, decaying multi-sig etc...

Check it out and sign up for the waiting list if interested: https://www.smartvaults.io/

The inheritance and time locked catches my attention but the rest of the feature you are introducing seems like a custodial wallet to me which breach the privacy of user and break Bitcoin decentralized feature. Having a Bitcoin recoverable will make the transaction not on chain since real Bitcoin doesn’t support replay on transactions.

But the idea of smart wallet is cool on Bitcoin because it helps non coder user to do a function which you can only done through code.
