8401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest in ICOs without working products. on: July 21, 2017, 03:28:11 AM
Gilgam.es, Bowhead and Opus
I recommend these three ICOs. They have products that increase their chance to become successful.

Gilgam.es :  a platform for players that allow them to compete in eSport games.
Bowhead : an instrument which monitors the health of people at home.
Opus : a platform for sharing musics that is supposed to solve some of music industry problems.

I agree, thats why i Choose to participate on their promotion and at the same time as an investors on Bowhead project because i can really see a product here compared on those ICO which do project only an imaginary thing which it doesnt really convinced me off on putting money on those ICO. As a wise investor always seek out on this kind of things which you can somehow assure yourself  that you are on the right track and lessen the risk of getting scammed.
8402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum reached the bottom ? on: July 21, 2017, 02:38:01 AM
Price would drop hasnt just been started, wait a little bit more for those hacked coins in parity would be sold because ETH would definitely dumped for sure. ITs hast still yet reached the bottom and we might see again the price of below $100 usd. Depending on the circumstances would happen to those coins. Just hold la little bit more buying now would really be more risky.
8403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best trading site now? on: July 20, 2017, 08:45:02 AM
I used to trade crypto back in 2014 but left it since. Heard bitcoin talk on the radio few days ago so decided to get back into the game. Read up about recent tradings and notice that polo seems to be the IT trading site now with a very high volume. So is polo the best trading site?
Always go on the top reputable site but i wont recommend poloniex as of now instead of them better to go with bittrex, i do have problems on using poloniex as of now they are really experiencing lots of issues regarding withdrawals and even deposits, slow response of their support which do really suck this is the reason why i jumped on bittrex as of now. They do have different user experience.
8404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing 10000€ in crypto on: July 20, 2017, 03:35:03 AM
Hi bitcointalk!

This is my first post ever on this forum! I do follow the crypto market for a couple of months now and I think the moment has come to invest in it. I'm actually hoping for another leg down first and then go for it but I'm suddenly not sure anymore this is going to happen.

I'm going to invest 10000€. My heart says; go all inn in Stratis, forget about a year, then look back and instantly recieving a big smile on the face.

But I know a lot are not going to advice this, putting all the eggs in one basket SO that's why I'm here, and asking for some advice.

Should I follow my heart and just go for it? Or should I just stick to bitcoin only? Or diversify in multiple coins like most of you do?

Glad to hear some opinions and how you men and ladies are doing this?

Crypto is IMO just at the beginning... This is going be so big in a couple of years.. I had the feeling a couple months ago I missed this great opportunity but nahh..

Looking forward to some suggestions!

Peace
You are actually right, even me would really say that dont put your eggs on the same basket which means diversifying your money would be the best moves because incase that the coins would fail you can still able to recover since you do have another options to earn.Unlike on focusing just on one coins. Stratis does have the potential but we cant still be sure if it would reallt rise up later on. I would suggest, bitcoin, eth, monero, stratis, waves.
8405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bowhead Health: Personalized Health Platform on: July 20, 2017, 03:00:46 AM
So how much total funds have been collected? The website should be made sales statistics, to facilitate us see the information

You can use live chat to find out how much the total funds collected.
Theres no need to use live chat since you can able to find out for yourself visually without the need of asking on the chat Smiley
Theres an update on the stat board which is really good because they do already putted how many coins are being sold on a particular price on a certain discount.
8406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Scaling Flowchart on: July 19, 2017, 03:46:00 AM
~snip~
Finally, a visualization of Bitcoin scaling format. Ive been searching for this thing since i do have a hard time on understanding these flows and now im clearly seeing the possible things might happen ahead. Regarding on approval and rejections and now im quiet excited on the upcoming event would happen on bitcoin history.
8407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Critique my altcoin portfolio plan on: July 19, 2017, 03:05:29 AM
I'm late in the game to actually invest in crypto, just been keeping a casual eye on Bitcoin for years. I've done some research, but would like the help of more experienced investors.

I'm putting in only money I can lose. Plan is to do a lump sum investment this month, hold for years, and buy more positions monthly using Dollar Cost Averaging. I will not be trading, except potentially taking out a fraction in fiat whenever I realize doubling of value of a coin, or perhaps annual rebalancing.

Below the six coins I'm considering, and their share of total (crypto) portfolio. First three I see as growth plays, and the last three as more speculative. I've tried to pick coins which have strong fundamentals with good potential for long-term value appreciation vs Euro, and are available on Kraken.

Code:
Name         Ticker	Share	Notes
Ethereum ETH 25% True platform with active development, partnerships, and variety of potential uses
Litecoin LTC 20% Mainly a diversification play
Bitcoin   BTC 15% Low portfolio share due to limited growth potential (high price and strong competitive pressure)
Ripple   XRP 15% Huge growth potential if it becomes widely adopted
Dash     Dash 15% Despite suspicious launch and outrageous block rewards, strong on-going development
Monero       XMR 10% Privacy and anonymity will be in increasing demand

Any critique is welcome. Keep in mind I'm brand new to this!
This portfolio is just fine for me since you are investing your money on those coins who are on top of the marketcap but expected moving prices would really be more slower but still just fine as long you arent on a rush on making profits. If this would be for long term then its would be a great choice but the thing i do recommend to change on this one is the share percentage. BTC should have more than on ETH because even eth do shows some excellent progress but theres no one can beat BTC in terms on long term.
8408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What's THE coin to mine and HODL? on: July 19, 2017, 02:38:14 AM
I have a x7 1080 ti rig, mining ZEC using EWBW Cuda and Flypool. ~5230 h/s

My plan as most here is to HODL, but the future of ZEC is uncertain.

What do you think is the coin of the future to mine and hold for years?
No one can tell since No one could able to predict the future of coins. For now, instead of thinking off
long term hodl of coins better to secure out first the ROI of your GPU. I know that 1080ti isnt cheap at all. Best move to do is mine the coins which you are able to make money. Once ROI is reached then its the time you think off on mining potential coins. The hard part on this one is we dont know which one thats why its important to mine up before your GPU would bust out.
8409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bowhead Health: Personalized Health Platform on: July 18, 2017, 11:47:13 AM
As already proposed Bowhead should offer his product discounted to ICO investors, would get more clients and a good start of sales I guess.
I think is already been discounted knowing that they do have early bird promo when its still on pre-sale. I dont know if they would put up again on this live ICO
8410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I do? on: July 18, 2017, 10:30:53 AM
I leave many of my BTC in trading wallet,
Why?
Trading platform would do the home works to
Find best solution.

I dont know to avoid forking with which wallet Smiley
I do also think on this thing which those exchanges would really do the work since they will surely update their wallets just to get those old and new bitcoin because if they didnt do such thing they will surely have a big problem to its users but as suggested by theymos we shouldnt store it on exchanges and wont make any transactions before/near on that day. Blockchain would be a good webwallet to store up since you do have the possesion of your keys.
8411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: July 18, 2017, 02:35:39 AM
68 Satoshi right now.
Is it possible for dogecoin to rise again?
68 Satoshi prices now, obviously it's not an advantage for me who already bought Dogecoin for 150 Satoshi.
No one knows if it would rise up again on that price range even i do bought DOGE on 100 sats wayback before and now the price is still beloe it which i cant really make money if i would tend to sell it but well im do holding my DOGE too no matter what happen. This coin is still standing and i do really have high hopes that this coin will pump up later on. If you do beleive on this coin then better to hold of and keep an eye if theres sudden movements which is reaching out higher on our purchase price.
8412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Price Drop, is no-one worried? on: July 17, 2017, 03:52:23 AM
Of course we got worried since we dont like to see BTC dump its price even im an earner not an investor it do gives me the chills and doubts when i see bitcoins price  do gradual decrease. How much more on those investors who bought in to a high peak price? For sure they will feel panic and if they do have weak hands they will eventuall sold their coins on cheaper price which causes for the price to decrease even more.
8413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dump is not over yet on: July 17, 2017, 03:08:23 AM
I can see the red everywhere now. So I think we may see the next big dump for the whole market. I am pessimistic and don't know when this downtrend stops.
We can really see reds as of now but no one ever knows on when does the downtrend would end. For now seeing on the price of bitcoin it gradually increase its price seems like time to recover but i dont usually beleive on this price movements since it might just a fake out or small pulback on the down trend. We are not yet still on August 1 which i do really believe that the drama isnt over yet as of this days that we are approaching on the big event.
8414  Economy / Speculation / Re: WOW, we may see the $1,000 BTC again! on: July 16, 2017, 01:28:08 PM
Forget the goldman sachs. they don't know anything, i know BTC will be back down to $1000

So I guess you already sold all your BTC to buy double at 1000$ right? Smart guy

I love to see smart people Grin
Even on commonsense you would able to identify those people who already sold their bitcoins and who dont. People will strongly say about dropping $1000 since they do already sold their bitcoins in profits which they do have the guts on saying those things but for those who bought and still holding they will eventually say that it wont go drop that like low. Am i right?
8415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go under 2000 dollars until august 1? on: July 16, 2017, 10:45:17 AM
Will bitcoin go under 2000 dollars until august 1?
I'm planning on buying 1 whole bitcoin, but I don't have that much money. I only have 1950 around dollars.
Should I wait to buy a whole bitcoin or just buy 0.8 btc now?
If you did hold as of now into your money then definitely you would able to buy a whole bitcoin as of now since the price lowers upto 1900+ and still decreasing as of now and even theres possibility on hitting 1700-1800 again which is really a disaster for those people who bought on 2500 price for sure they are on loss as of now. August 1 is still too far 2 weeks from now and the price is already reacting  to that event. We might able to see cheaper prices later on not only to bitcoin but also on altcoins.
8416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: July 14, 2017, 04:14:39 PM
Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"
I cant see any competition here and theres not point on comparing ETH and WAVES and where in the world did you get that Waves would be the next ETH? Comparing them regarding on standing i can say that WAVES is way too far beyond ETH. We cannot only justify on its volume or marketcap but we can able to see it on how big is the community does ETH have.
8417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: gpu bubble well and truly bursting on: July 14, 2017, 02:52:23 PM
If price stays the same, difficulty will not rise much and then after few weeks it will stabilize if price stays the same, profitability is low, people are getting out and they started selling their gpu's and many are following which means prices of graphics cards will crash especially in Europe where electricity is very expensive and people cant afford to mine, better to invest the money somewhere, returns are much greater. This is a good time to buy coins.

the guy who bought my rig didn't have a clue what he was doing, but that is how i started.
There are really people do really just go with the flow and do tend to buy some stuffs without knowing too much and i strongly believe that there are miners dont still have too much idea on what they are doing. Gpu cards are really on scarce as of now because there are lots do tend to jump on crypto currency mining thats why nvidia and other gpu company decide to make a dedicated gpu for sole on mining crypto only. Its really normal for the difficulty to jump on insane percentage when there are lots of people do mine it.
8418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: WARNING POLONIEX.com ETC Deposit Scam on: July 14, 2017, 01:58:32 PM
Poloniex turned to be a shitty site.

Welcome to bittrex, the best.
You are right as the time goes by Poloniex becoming shit already in terms of their service and their support as of now do already sucks bigtime and it takes them centuries for them to reply if you do have a problem. Lucky for me i didnt make some transfers on last 2 months as far as i remember since ive been hearing out issues already about deposits and the same time with withdrawals.
8419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bowhead Health: Personalized Health Platform on: July 14, 2017, 11:41:30 AM
Why do you need an ICO or blockchain for this?
What do you intend to use the funds for?

Blockchain is integral to the platform as a secure data store while also being used as a value store for patient data.

ICO funds will primarily be used for research and development with further information found on pg23 here https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/0B2CimLH8gflNMzY0WEFhRlBxSlU

At the heart of the Bowhead platform is our patent pending Anonymized Health Token (AHT) and an ICO is the fairest and fastest way for us to distribute our tokens and fund future growth.

Just wow, i have read the whitepaper and i do really got the the purpose for this ICO and its really great and i hope it would reach the target amount. Health is an important thing and we should really have this kind of project.
8420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How Do I sell yovi at yobit ? on: July 13, 2017, 07:17:47 AM
Fortunately, I sold it (for a period of 3 months)  Cool

not as hard as you think  Smiley

good luck.

Not bad for how many months of waiting on holding YOVI. Ive seen this coin in Yobit Exchange but i dont bother to buy it on that exchange. Answering the topic its quiet awkward that you cant place order, as others said here its ROM coin which you can actually set not too high on the current price. Seeing on the current price it already drops a lot. Do OP have updates regarding on his situation?
