but cryptopia, coinexchange and livecoin all want SOME BTC for listing :-(

I really don't get it, Coinsmarket is listing like every coin out there why aren't we applying there?

What do you mean by "coinsmarket"?

Maybe he's referring to this ?

No.

This is what he is talking about - https://coinsmarkets.com/

The exchange which is 9 decimal places, so don't get confused about the pricing you see there.

#crysx

Is it a good exchange? Any experience?

I honestly can't comment.

It seems to be used, though it is a smaller volume, and people don;t seem to worry so much that it it trading with higher capacity of fractions of BTC, so assuming it is ok.

I have personally not traded on it, so it would be incorrect of me to comment more than what I have.

we at CWI prefer Cryptopia, for most of the coins we have, and about to push/pay for our last two coins to go on there, as we trade reasonably well there and are about to initiate the trading bot for the CWI-Mining system to plug into. So Cryptopia is what we have experience with and can say that it's API and systems are reasonably fast (not as fast as Bittrex though), and the support is good also.

Forget Bittrex, unless they WANT you in their system.

NovaExchange is reasonable, but are shutting down, whereas coinexchange.io seems to be running ok also, though it too (like CoinsMarkets) is a low volume Exchange.

So there are a few choices, but I would think Cryptopia would be the better option, even if more expensive. Our experience with CCEX is not a pleasant one (we have DRZ there) due to the fact that continue (almost EVERY month) to place DRZ on the delist, and seem to be doing this with a LOT of coins to kick in the volume. So be wary of CCEX and their tactics, though it is a nice interface.

Stay WELL away from yobit. You will suffer at their hands.

Hope this helps pallas!

#crysx

Thanks for your comments :-)
Let me add some.
Cryptopia is expensive, but so is coinexchange and livecoin (about same price, too much for us).
Yobit: we paid for inclusion, they did nothing, we got our money back. At least it's fair. Support is non-existent.
We are going to be included in the next bisq update, but I have no idea of the volume it might bring as I don't have experience with distributed exchanges. Having to install an application to trade will probably scare some, but the concept is interesting and I like to think that it will be the future.

I discovered this tool today. Installed it and started mining.
Fast and easy.
Any drawback? is it profitable?

That depends on many factors. You need to figure it out yourself.

I don't understand people selling. At this price it's really not worth, even if you don't consider the "moral" aspect.

My poor gtx750 1gb is doing 300h/s with public miners - xmr-stak-nvidia and ccminer by tsiv. )))

What launch config?
--launch=32x12

Hmm, the miner is from Klaus-T, my mistake

xmr-stak-nvidia cuda code and klaust's are very similar.
tsiv is slower.
tpruvot is on par, instead.

just rebought a 1080.. not logic but much more than buying a 1070 or 1070 ti priced higher Wink

I find the 1080 to be the most efficient for the coins I usually mine. It won't be good for cryptonight but there are others things I would use it for. Now let's read the flames lol.

was some news here? tried to read last pages but saw just technical information.

I'm working on a solution to make life easier for the exchanges to integrate our coin.
It is getting more difficult every day to get listed on a decent exchange, so we need to avoid forcing them to do additional work: this will make our chances higher.
as i understand, working with exchanges for listing is stopped now untill the wallet be ready?
don`t u want to try some small exchanges now? or it will be better to test new wallet at them?

My fear is loosing opportunities just because of EP amounts. That's what probably happened with yobit, maybe even with bittrex back then.

Does anyone know what will happen with the tokens that wont be sold?

There are no tokens nor ICOs, besides the coin is from 2014.

61 (and 60) will be slower than 52

I discovered that if you run 52 code on pascal, it actually makes 61 code on the fly when you run the kernel. The reason it is faster, I don't know. Thing is, with cuda 9 the difference is smaller or even reversed. A little tweaking here and there and it will be faster than before :-)

But could you tell me please if I want to compile ccminer for GTX 1050 only regardless any CPU what should I do?

As I get all I need is add into Makefile.am the following flag:
Code:
nvcc_ARCH = -gencode=arch=compute_60,code="sm_60,compute_60"
and remove all other flags concerning nvcc_ARCH.

Correct?

61, not 60.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.2 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: November 03, 2017, 09:23:10 AM
scryptr,
JUST USE BUILD.SH
Huh Of course I use it... Every time, again and again (for every another PC) i use this file to compile ccminer by default. Or what did you mean by that?

I never found this intimidating or difficult.
Well, that's not too hard indeed. But when you've to download nvidia-toolkit (2.5GB) and then compile ccminer (from 5-15 mins) ten times in a row - that's a lil bit frustrating! Do you get me? Smiley

Further, if you have all Pascal GPUs, you can set switches within the code to build a binary specific for Pascal architecture.
Yup, all my GPUs are Pascal (GTX 1050). But can you gimme please an example how to use switches for Pascal GPUs? Or did you mean maybe flags not switches? Well, those flags won't help - I tell you (see below why).

And... Could you please explain how is it possible... There two absolutely identical PC: motherboards, CPU, the same GPUs (1050) from the same vendor. I compile ccminer on one of them and expect that it will work on both PC (make sense?) Nope! It works only on PC it was built on! Why is that?? (btw, it was tested on cryptonight algo).

I think it's not about GPUs architecture. It's about CPU architecture. ccminer is too sensetive to all hardware during its compiling... How to say ccminer to be not so sensetive to get more universal solution?

Thank you!

P.S. But under windows it works perfectly. You don't need to break your brain - you just need to download ready binaries and launch it...... It's a dream for Ubuntu Sad

P.P.S. BTW, what switch should I use for GTX 1050? Never found it in the list.

cpu doesn't matter, unless you compiled with cpu specific flags.
is the software the same on the two machines? same OS, same version? same packages installed?
I had no problems sharing ccminer binaries with other people using the same linux OS, it even worked with different distributions, provided it had the same shared libraries available.

I believe it does that already. Don't think the limit is changeable though. It will reach at least one week into the past (http://cryptonite.info/wiki/index.php?title=Cycle_time). I've seen my wallets keep them for longer.

You can add -txindex 1 to keep blocks forever and turn your wallet into a "master" node.
by default this does not work:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1801595.msg22847581#msg22847581

it would not be bad to include this cleaning cycle through the application's startup parameters, this is for those who do not care about transaction information
Pallas what do you think about this??

Run with -resync.
By default, it will keep the full blocks since you first run it.

there are times when you may need the full blockchain; for example […] if you have troubles syncing for any reason.
Any idea what situations may cause such troubles with syncing that a full blockchain is needed?

With the new wallet, which is pretty stable and has fixed sync, it should be rarely needed.
One case for example is when you want to use an old wallet.dat on a new PC: if you sync normally, some data about the transactions you did on the old wallet won't be available. Hence the full snapshot need.
But that’s only for user’s convenience if I understand it correctly, right? The crucial data are stored in account tree. Or does the wallet also need the history data to function properly?

It works properly anyways: you just don't get access to some information in the wallet, but the balances are in the trie and will work normally.

wow, wow, wow. wtm says that xcn price is "to the moon" more then 2k. there we can sell it now?  Grin is there are some hidden exchanges?

Very similar to the glitch of the site WTM.
I tried manually to score stats in WTM and for some reason it is loaded very slowly. I think the reason is that!

Although, it would be very good to sell that kind of space price !!!  Grin

roll back to june and you could sell at 3k sat ;-)

Question:
Is the algorithm Myriad-Groestl and Groestl the same,
So can I also produce any Coin that supports the algorithm Groestl with an X10Miner that supports Myriad-Groestl?

What coins are there with this Myriad-Groestl algorithm please?

No. Double groestl and myriad groestl (groestl + sha) are different.
