I'm really shocked about how many people still mine on deepbit: big fees, no 8-decimal pays, not particular clear interface, and... not DDoS-reluctant...
So, the worst pool has the biggest power. Incredible!
People are too lazy to switch

This is exactly why concentrating too much hash power in a few pools is not a good idea. Better to mine at a smaller mid-sized pool

Mine on a mid-sized pool Deepbit, slush, and btcguild are easy targets. This is a perfect example why too much hash power to a single pool is not a good idea.

You don't have to pay me to tell you this:
You need to have POWERED pci-e extenders to get more than 4 gpu on any motherboard, some motherboards can only handle 3. With high power cards - 5970 and 6990 - you can only run 2 cards (4 gpu limit) without using powered extenders.
I almost burned out a motherboard b.c. of this once.
This. Although I am currently running 2 5970s and a 6950 on a mobo without powered risers.

.... any modern power company they can tell down to the transformer how much power is being used.
Uhm, link? I searched and found nothing that would substantiate this claim.

Any feedback anywhere?
I'm interested in all the cards.

Tested with powered and unpowered from cablesarus. 0, 1 and 4 work, with anything in 2 and 3 it boot loops. I will re-test this again some time - right now the kids are all behaving, so I'm not gonna mess with them. ~RdD Maybe presence pins need shorting?
